The partial inverse problem for differential pencils on a star-shaped graph is studied from mixed spectral data.More precisely,we show that if the potentials on all edges on the star-shaped graph but one are known a priori then the unknown potential on the remaining edge can be uniquely determined by partial information on the potential and a part of eigenvalues.  相似文献

The solvability of the boundary-value problem for a string-beam model is studied. The model is described by an equation of orders 2 or 4 on dirrerent edges of an arbitrary graph. Criteria for the problem to be degenerate and nondegenerate are obtained; in particular, it is proved that the nondegeneracy of the problem is equivalent to the maximum principle.  相似文献

We establish necessary and sufficient conditions for the solvability of inhomogeneous linear boundaryvalue problems for systems of ordinary differential equations with pulse influence in the case where the number of boundary conditions is not equal to the order of the differential system (Noetherian problems). We construct a generalized Green operator for boundary-value problems not all solutions of which can be extended from the left endpoint to the right endpoint of the interval where these solutions are constructed.  相似文献

The Sturm-Liouville operator on the star-shaped graph is considered. We study its spectral properties, important for inverse problem theory. In particular, asymptotic formulas for the weight matrices are derived, by using contour integration. Water wave propagation in an open channel network can be described by the viscous Burgers' equation on the corresponding connected graph, possibly with small viscosity. In this paper, we propose a fast adaptive spectral graph wavelet method for the numerical solution of the viscous Burgers' equation on a star-shaped connected graph. The vital feature of spectral graph wavelets is that they can be constructed on any complex network using the graph Laplacian. The essence of the method is that the same operator can be used for the construction of the spectral graph wavelet and the approximation of the differential operator involved in the Burgers' equation. In this paper, two test problems are considered with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. The numerical results show that the method accurately captures the evolution of the localized patterns at all the scales, and the adaptive node arrangement is accordingly obtained. The convergence of the given method is verified, and efficiency is shown using CPU time.  相似文献

In this paper, the authors study partial inverse nodal problems for differential pencils on a star-shaped graph. We firstly show that the potential on each edge can be uniquely determined by twin-dense nodal subsets on some interior intervals under certain conditions. Without any nodal information on some potential on the fixed edge, we may add some spectral information to guarantee these uniqueness theorems. We still consider the case of arbitrary intervals having the internal vertex. In particular, we pose and solve a new partial inverse nodal problem for differential pencils on the star-shaped graph from the Weyl m-function and the theory concerning densities of zeros of entire functions.  相似文献

We consider the impedance boundary-value problem for the Helmholtz equation originated by the problem of wave diffraction by an infinite strip with imperfect conductivity. The two possible different situations of real and complex wave numbers are considered. Bessel potential spaces are used to deal with the problem, and the identification of corresponding operators of single and double layer potentials allow a reformulation of the problem into a system of integral equations. The well-posedness of the problem is obtained for a set of impedance parameters (and wave numbers), after the incorporation of some compatibility conditions on the data. At the end, an improvement of the regularity of the solution is derived for the same set of parameters previously considered.  相似文献
