In this article, the extended Riccati equation method is applied to seeking more general exact travelling wave solutions of the ZK equation. The traveling wave solutions are expressed by the hyperbolic functions, the trigonometric functions and the rational functions. When the parameters are taken as special values, the solitary wave solutions are obtained from the hyperbolic function solutions. Similarly, the periodic wave solutions are also obtained from the trigonometric function solutions. The approach developed in this paper is effective and it may also be used for solving many other nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

In this paper, a series of abundant exact travelling wave solutions is established for a modified generalized Vakhnenko equation by using auxiliary equation method. These solutions can be expressed by Jacobi elliptic function. When Jacobi elliptic functions modulus m→1 or 0, the travelling wave solutions degenerate to four types of solutions, namely, the soliton solutions, the hyperbolic function solutions, the trigonometric function solutions, constant solutions.  相似文献

In this letter, a new auxiliary function method is presented for constructing exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. The main idea of this method is to take full advantage of the solutions of the elliptic equation to construct exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. In this paper the (2 + 1)-dimensional Boiti-Leon-Pempinelli (BLP) equation will be studied. The tanh-coth method will be used to obtain exact travelling wave solutions for this equation. The elliptic equation method is improved for constructing exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs). The rational forms of Jacobi elliptic functions are presented. By using new Jacobi elliptic function solutions of the elliptic equation, new doubly periodic solutions are obtained for some important PDEs. In this paper we employ a rational expansion to generalize Fan’s method for exact travelling wave solutions for nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs). To verify the reliability of the proposed method, the generalized shallow water wave (GSWW) equation has been investigated as an example. Kinds of new exact travelling wave solutions of a rational form have been obtained. In this paper, we investigate Klein-Gordon equation with cubic nonlinearity. All explicit expressions of the bounded travelling wave solutions for the equation are obtained by using the bifurcation method and qualitative theory of dynamical systems. These solutions contain bell-shaped solitary wave solutions, kink-shaped solitary wave solutions and Jacobi elliptic function periodic solutions. Moreover, we point out the region which these periodic wave solutions lie in. We present the relation between the bounded travelling wave solution and the energy level h. We find that these periodic wave solutions tend to the corresponding solitary wave solutions as h increases or decreases. Finally, for some special selections of the energy level h, it is shown that the exact periodic solutions evolute into solitary wave solution.  相似文献

In this paper, the qualitative behavior and exact travelling wave solutions of the Zhiber–Shabat equation are studied by using qualitative theory of polynomial differential system. The phase portraits of system are given under different parametric conditions. Some exact travelling wave solutions of the Zhiber–Shabat equation are obtained. In this paper, the generalized Dodd-Bullough-Mikhailov equation is studied. The existence of periodic wave and unbounded wave solutions is proved by using the method of bifurcation theory of dynamical systems. Under different parametric conditions, various sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of the above solutions are given.Some exact explicit parametric representations of the above travelling solutions are obtained.  相似文献

Exact solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili by Zhang [Huiqun Zhang, A note on exact complex travelling wave solutions for (2+1)-dimensional B-type Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation, Appl. Math. Comput. 216 (2010) 2771-2777] are considered. To look for “new types of exact solutions travelling wave solutions” of equation Zhang has used the G′/G-expansion method. We demonstrate that there is the general solution for the reduction by Zhang from the (2+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation and all solutions by Zhang are found as partial cases from the general solution.  相似文献

By means of the undetermined assumption method, we obtain some new exact solitary-wave solutions with hyperbolic secant function fractional form and periodic wave solutions with cosine function form for the generalized modified Boussinesq equation. We also discuss the boundedness of these solutions. This paper considers a completely integrable nonlinear wave equation which is called Qiao equation. The equation is reduced via Lie symmetry analysis. Two classes of new exact group-invariant solutions are obtained by solving the reduced equations. Specially, a novel technique is proposed for constructing group-invariant solutions and non-group-invariant solutions based on travelling wave solutions. The obtained exact solutions include a set of traveling wave-like solutions with variable amplitude, variable velocity or both. Nonlocal conservation laws of Qiao equation are also obtained with the corresponding infinitesimal generators.  相似文献

Using the solutions of an auxiliary differential equation, a direct algebraic method is described to construct several kinds of exact travelling wave solutions for some Wick-type nonlinear partial differential equations. By this method some physically important nonlinear equations are investigated and new exact travelling wave solutions are explicitly obtained. In this paper, two nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equations with variable coefficients in nonlinear optics are investigated. Based on travelling wave transformation and the extended $(\frac{G''}{G})$-expansion method, exact travelling wave solutions to nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equation with time-dependent coefficients are derived successfully, which include bright and dark soliton solutions, triangular function periodic solutions, hyperbolic function solutions and rational function solutions.  相似文献

This paper employs the theory of planar dynamical systems and undetermined coefficient method to study travelling wave solutions of the dissipative coupled Korteweg-de Vries equation. The possible kink profile solitary wave solutions and approximate damped oscillatory solutions of the equation are obtained by using undetermined coefficient method. Error estimates indicate that the approximate solutions are meaningful.  相似文献

By using methods from dynamical systems theory, this paper researches the bifurcation and exact travelling wave solutions for the modified Benjamin-Bona-Mahoney (mBBM) equation. Implicit exact parametric representations of all travelling wave solutions as well as some explicit analytic solutions are given.
