In this paper, four classes of complete permutation polynomials over finite fields of characteristic two are presented. To consider the permutation property of the first three classes, Dickson polynomials play a key role. The fourth class is a generalization of a known result. In addition, we also calculate the inverses of these bijective monomials.  相似文献

n-to-1 mappings have wide applications in many areas, especially in cryptography, finite geometry, coding theory and combinatorial design. In this paper, many classes of n-to-1 mappings over finite fields are studied. First, we provide a characterization of general n-to-1 mappings over Fpm by means of the Walsh transform. Then, we completely determine 3-to-1 polynomials with degree no more than 4 over Fpm. Furthermore, we obtain an AGW-like criterion for characterizing some close relationship between the n-to-1 property of a mapping over finite set A and that of another mapping over a subset of A. Finally, we apply the AGW-like criterion into several forms of polynomials and obtain some explicit n-to-1 mappings. Especially, three explicit constructions of the form xrh(xs) from the cyclotomic perspective, and several classes of n-to-1 mappings of the form g(xqkx+δ)+cx are provided.  相似文献

In this paper, we find three classes of complete permutation polynomials over finite fields of even characteristic. The first class of quadrinomials is complete in the sense of addition. The second and third classes of binomials and trinomials are complete in multiplication. Moreover, a result related to the complete property in multiplication of a special class of polynomials is also given.  相似文献

Symmetric k-varieties generalize Riemannian symmetric spaces to reductive groups defined over arbitrary fields. For most perfect fields, it is known that symmetric k-varieties are in one-to-one correspondence with isomorphy classes of k-involutions. Therefore, it is useful to have representatives of each isomorphy class in order to describe the k-varieties. Here we give matrix representatives for each isomorphy class of k-involutions of SL(n,k) in the case that k is any field of characteristic 2; we also describe fixed-point groups of each type of involution.  相似文献

In this paper, we completely determine all necessary and sufficient conditions such that the polynomial f(x)=x3+axq+2+bx2q+1+cx3q, where a,b,cFq, is a permutation quadrinomial of Fq2 over any finite field of odd characteristic. This quadrinomial has been studied first in [25] by Tu, Zeng and Helleseth, later in [24] Tu, Liu and Zeng revisited these quadrinomials and they proposed a more comprehensive characterization of the coefficients that results with new permutation quadrinomials, where char(Fq)=2 and finally, in [16], Li, Qu, Li and Chen proved that the sufficient condition given in [24] is also necessary and thus completed the solution in even characteristic case. In [6] Gupta studied the permutation properties of the polynomial x3+axq+2+bx2q+1+cx3q, where char(Fq)=3,5 and a,b,cFq and proposed some new classes of permutation quadrinomials of Fq2.In particular, in this paper we classify all permutation polynomials of Fq2 of the form f(x)=x3+axq+2+bx2q+1+cx3q, where a,b,cFq, over all finite fields of odd characteristic and obtain several new classes of such permutation quadrinomials.  相似文献
