给出一个适用于流体力学数值模拟的湍流混合模型。由于引入湍流质量通量和密度脉动关联量的演化方程,它比一般的k-模型能更准确地描述界面不稳定性引起的可压缩湍流混合过程,并且可以不需要人为给定初始湍流场。我们用同一套参数模拟了不同Atwood数的激波管实验,数值结果与实验基本一致。  相似文献

燃烧室两相流场亚网格燃烧模型的研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
在三维任意曲线坐标系下采用不同的亚网格燃烧模型对环形燃烧室火焰筒气液两相湍流瞬态反应流进行大涡模拟.计算中所采用的数学度模型有:k方程亚网格尺度模型估算亚网格湍流黏性;热通量辐射模型估算辐射换热,分别采用亚网格EBU燃烧模型(E-A model)、亚网格二阶矩输运方程模型(SOM)和亚网格二阶矩代数模型(SOM-A)估算化学反应速率.并在非交错网格系统下气相采用SIMPLE算法和混合差分格式求解,液相采用Lagrange处理,并用PSIC算法对其进行求解.通过实验结果和计算结果的比较,表明在三维任意曲线坐标系下对燃烧室火焰简两相湍流油雾燃烧流场进行大涡模拟,3种不同的亚网格燃烧模型都能真实反映两相湍流化学反应流流动及实际燃烧过程,而采用亚网格二阶矩输运方程模型稍优于其他两种亚网格燃烧模型.  相似文献

大涡模拟 能够以比较合理的计算成本, 提供更多详细的湍流信息, 故近年来已经广泛地应用于科学和工程领域, 并也成为内燃机缸内湍流流动与燃烧过程模拟计算的最有潜力的数值方法.综合现有研究成果, 对内燃机中大涡模拟的研究进展和模拟方法进行了比较全面的评述.介绍了大涡模拟的基本概念、方法、亚网格模型,着重讨论了内燃机缸内冷态流场、燃油喷雾过程以及两相液雾湍流燃烧大涡模拟的国内外研究进展.最后论述了大涡模拟在内燃机应用中当前需要解决的问题及其发展趋势.  相似文献

第一届国际直接数值模拟和大涡模拟会议(AFOSR International Conference on DNS/LES)是由美国空军科学研究部(AFOSR)资助组织的国际会议. 会议于1997年8月4日至8日由美国路易斯安那技术大学主办, 在路易斯安那州罗斯顿市举行. 来自17个国家的90余人参加会议. 会议交流论文73篇, 其中大会报告14篇. 我国学者提交论文4篇, 张兆顺应邀在大会上作了“近壁湍流的流型和湍能耗散”的报告.   相似文献

采用有限差分法,对雷诺数为2.2×10~4的方柱绕流进行了大涡模拟(简称LES)。运用时间分裂控制(Split-Operator)法,将N-S方程分为对流步、扩散步和传播步。对Smagorinsky假设在近壁区的发散问题用两层模型进行处理。对流项用迎风—中心差分格式模拟,压力方程用SOR法迭代求解。计算得到的沿对称线的时均顺流向速度与文献上的实验结果进行了比较,结果吻合较好,同时还对绕方柱流的流场结构进行了分析研究。  相似文献

本文将汽车绕流模块化为各典型局部流动,通过常用湍流模型对各典型局部流动进行数值模拟,结果验证了湍流模型对转捩的捕捉能力是准确模拟汽车绕流的关键. 在分析汽车绕流分离及转捩机理的基础上,优化了稳态和瞬态求解方法,改进了湍流模型对转捩的预测能力,进而提高了湍流模型在汽车流场模拟上的精度. 针对汽车绕流的稳态问题,将流线曲率因子及 响应阈值引入 LRN $k$-$\varepsilon $ (low Reynolds number $k$-$\varepsilon $) 模型,获得了一种能够更准确预 测转捩的改进低雷诺数湍流模型 (modified LRN $k$-$\varepsilon $),改善了原模型对湍流耗散率的过强依赖性及全应力发展预测不足等问题;针对汽车绕流瞬态求解,通过分析 RANS/LES 混合湍流模型的构造思想及特点,引入约束大涡模拟方法,结合本文提出的改进的 LRN $k$-$\varepsilon $ 湍流模型,提出了一种能准确捕捉转捩现象 的转捩 LRN CLES 模型. 分别将改进的模型用于某实车外流场和风振噪声仿真中,通过 Ansys Fluent 求解器计算,并将计算结果与常用湍流模型的仿真结果、HD-2 风洞试验结果和实车道路实验结果进行对比,表明改进后的湍流模型能够更准确模拟复杂实车的稳态和瞬态特性,为汽车气动特性的研究提供了可靠理论依据及有效数值解决方法.   相似文献

介绍了速度估计模型的基本思想及其在物理空间的实现。速度估计模型依靠湍流大尺度的非线性作用估计出小尺度,从而可直接求解亚格子应力项而不需要额外的模型。本文采用该模型对不同雷诺数下的各向同性衰减湍流进行了模拟,并与直接数值模拟、理论分析和其他亚格子模型的大涡模拟结果进行了比较。也初步考察了网格分辨率、不同精度的紧致格式对大涡模拟结果的影响。  相似文献

分离涡模拟DES是压气机流动模拟中常用的高保真湍流模式。为了使DES准确解析湍流,数值耗散必须限制在合理范围内。然而,当前的压气机流动DES类研究工作中仍然普遍采用高耗散的迎风格式。本文首先基于DES类方法计算的各向同性衰减湍流结果,定量比较了多种不同数值格式的耗散,证实了高耗散迎风格式严重低估中高波数湍流能量。高阶重构格式可以一定程度上改善该问题,但能量耗散仍然过高。本文在高阶重构的基础上,进一步引入自适应耗散函数修改Riemann求解器,构造了自适应耗散格式。该格式在全波数范围都能准确地预测湍流能谱。将该格式配合DES类方法模拟跨声速离心压气机流动,其预测的压比相比于三阶迎风格式,更加接近实验结果。此外,自适应耗散格式显著提高了中小尺度流动结构的分辨率。分析表明,在使用DES类方法模拟压气机流动时,有必要采用数值耗散较低的离散格式,以准确预测压气机总体性能和流动结构。本文构造的自适应耗散格式是一种良好选择。  相似文献

本文综述了计算流体力学(computational fluid dynamics, CFD),尤其是计算空气动力学的发展概况.从计算方法、网格技术、湍流模型、大涡模拟等方面分别总结了CFD所取得的成就,分析了当前存在的问题、困惑,展望了其发展趋势.在CFD计算方法中,主要介绍了中心格式、迎风格式、TVD格式、WENO格式、紧致格式以及间断Galerkin有限元方法,对不同方法的原理和特性进行了系统阐述.网格技术包括结构网格、非结构网格、混合网格以及重叠网格,重点讨论了重叠网格的若干关键技术.在湍流模型中,对目前的模型进行分类介绍,包括线性涡黏性模型、二阶矩模型、非线性模型等,还介绍了转捩模型、DES方法以及SAS方法等.在大涡模拟方法中,就其中若干相关的研究方向进行了探讨,包括滤波方法、亚格子模型、收敛标准、数值格式等. 文中还包含了作者在相关领域的若干研究成果.  相似文献

The main bottleneck in using Large Eddy Simulations at high Reynolds number is the requirement of very fine meshes near walls. One of the main reasons why hybrid LES-RANS was invented was to eliminate this limitation. In this method unsteady RANS (URANS) is used near walls and LES is used away from walls. The present paper evaluates a method for improving standard LES-RANS. The improvement consists of adding instantaneous turbulent fluctuations (forcing conditions) at the matching plane between the LES and URANS regions in order to trigger the equations to resolve turbulence. The turbulent fluctuations are taken from synthesized homogeneous turbulence assuming a modified von Kármán spectrum. Both isotropic and non-isotropic fluctuations are evaluated. The new approach is applied to fully developed channel flow and it is shown that the imposed fluctuations considerably improve the predictions. It is found that increasing the prescribed turbulent length scale of the synthesized turbulence provides excellent agreement with the classical log-law.  相似文献

In this paper an algebraic model from the constitutive equations of the subgrid stresses has been developed. This model has an additional term in comparison with the mixed model, which represents the backscatter of energy explicitly. The proposed model thus provides independent modelling of the different energy transfer mechanisms, thereby capturing the effect of subgrid scales more accurately. The model is also found to depict the flow anisotropy better than the linear and mixed models. The energy transfer capability of the model is analysed for the isotropic decay and the forced isotropic turbulence. The turbulent plane channel flow simulation is performed over three Reynolds numbers, Reτ=180, 395 and 590, and the results are compared with that of the dynamic model, Smagorinsky model, and the DNS data. Both the algebraic and dynamic models are in good agreement with the DNS data for the mean flow quantities. However, the algebraic model is found to be more accurate for the turbulence intensities and the higher‐order statistics. The development of asymmetric wake behind an aerofoil in turbulent incompressible flow has been computed using finite volume scheme for solving two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations along with the k-ε model of turbulence. The results are compared with available experimental data. It is observed that the computed shift of the point of minimum velocity with distance is sensitive to the prescribed value of the normal component of velocity at the trailing edge of the aerofoil. Making the model constant Cu as a function of streamline curvature and changing the production term in the equation for ε, has only marginal influence on the results.  相似文献

This paper presents hybrid Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) and large-eddy-simulation (LES) methods for the separated flows at high angles of attack around a 6:1 prolate spheroid. The RANS/LES hybrid methods studied in this work include the detached eddy simulation (DES) based on Spalart–Allmaras (S–A), Menter’s k–ω shear-stress-transport (SST) and k–ω with weakly nonlinear eddy viscosity formulation (Wilcox–Durbin+, WD+) models and the zonal-RANS/LES methods based on the SST and WD+ models. The switch from RANS near the wall to LES in the core flow region is smooth through the implementation of a flow-dependent blending function for the zonal hybrid method. All the hybrid methods are designed to have a RANS mode for the attached flows and have a LES behavior for the separated flows. The main objective of this paper is to apply the hybrid methods for the high Reynolds number separated flows around prolate spheroid at high-incidences. A fourth-order central scheme with fourth-order artificial viscosity is applied for spatial differencing. The fully implicit lower–upper symmetric-Gauss–Seidel with pseudo time sub-iteration is taken as the temporal differentiation. Comparisons with available measurements are carried out for pressure distribution, skin friction, and profiles of velocity, etc. Reasonable agreement with the experiments, accounting for the effect on grids and fundamental turbulence models, is obtained for the separation flows. In this paper computational results for two different types of shock wave / turbulent boundary layer interaction flows are presented. It is shown that upstream effects of the shock induced separation cannot be reproduced by Wilcox's (1991) k--model, whereas downstream of the interaction, predictions of pressure distribution and skin friction are acceptable. The inclusion of the compressible part of the dissipation rate and the pressure dilatation in the model has noticeable, but not dramatic effects on wall pressure and skin friction in the selected flow cases.  相似文献

This paper applies the higher‐order bounded numerical scheme Weighted Average Coefficients Ensuring Boundedness (WACEB) to simulate two‐ and three‐dimensional turbulent flows. In the scheme, a weighted average formulation is used for interpolating the variables at cell faces and the weighted average coefficients are determined from a normalized variable formulation and total variation diminishing (TVD) constraints to ensure the boundedness of the solution. The scheme is applied to two turbulent flow problems: (1) two‐dimensional turbulent flow around a blunt plate; and (2) three‐dimensional turbulent flow inside a mildly curved U‐bend. In the present study, turbulence is evaluated by using a low‐Reynolds number version of the k–ω model. For the flow simulation, the QUICK scheme is applied to the momentum equations while either the WACEB scheme (Method 1) or the UPWIND scheme (Method 2) is used for the turbulence equations. The present study shows that the WACEB scheme has at least second‐order accuracy while ensuring boundedness of the solutions. The present numerical study for a pure convection problem shows that the ‘TVD’ slope ranges from 2 to 4. For the turbulent recirculating flow, two different mixed procedures (Method 1 and Method 2) produce a substantial difference for the mean velocities as well as for the turbulence kinetic energy. Method 1 predicts better results than Method 2 does, comparing the analytical solution and the experimental data. For the turbulent flow inside the mildly curved U‐bend, although the predictions of velocity distributions with two procedures are very close, a noticeable difference of turbulence kinetic energy is exhibited. It is noticed that the discrepancy exists between numerical results and the experimental data. The reason is the limit of the two‐equation turbulence model to such complex turbulent flows with extra strain‐rates. Copyright © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Among the various hybrid methodologies, Speziale's very large eddy simulation (VLES) is one that was proposed very early. It is a unified simulation approach that can change seamlessly from Reynolds Averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) to direct numerical simulation (DNS) depending on the numerical resolution. The present study proposes a new improved variant of the original VLES model. The advantages are achieved in two ways: (i) RANS simulation can be recovered near the wall which is similar to the detached eddy simulation concept; (ii) a LES subgrid scale model can be reached by the introduction of a third length scale, that is, the integral turbulence length scale. Thus, the new model can provide a proper LES mode between the RANS and DNS limits. This new methodology is implemented in the standard k ? ? model. Applications are conducted for the turbulent channel flow at Reynolds number of Reτ = 395, periodic hill flow at Re = 10,595, and turbulent flow past a square cylinder at Re = 22,000. In comparison with the available experimental data, DNS or LES, the new VLES model produces better predictions than the original VLES model. Furthermore, it is demonstrated that the new method is quite efficient in resolving the large flow structures and can give satisfactory predictions on a coarse mesh. The paper describes the validation of a newly developed very LES (VLES) method for the simulation of turbulent separated flow. The new VLES method is a unified simulation approach that can change seamlessly from Reynolds‐averaged Navier–Stokes to DNS depending on the numerical resolution. Four complex test cases are selected to validate the performance of the new method, that is, the flow past a square cylinder at Re = 3000 confined in a channel (with a blockage ratio of 20%), the turbulent flow over a circular cylinder at Re = 3900 as well as Re = 140,000, and a turbulent backward‐facing step flow with a thick incoming boundary layer at Re = 40,000. The simulation results are compared with available experimental, LES, and detached eddy simulation‐type results. The new VLES model performs well overall, and the predictions are satisfactory compared with previous experimental and numerical results. It is observed that the new VLES method is quite efficient for the turbulent flow simulations; that is, good predictions can be obtained using a quite coarse mesh compared with the previous LES method. Discussions of the implementation of the present VLES modeling are also conducted on the basis of the simulations of turbulent channel flow up to high Reynolds number of Reτ = 4000. The efficiency of the present VLES modeling is also observed in the channel flow simulation. From a practical point of view, this new method has considerable potential for more complex turbulent flow simulations at relative high Reynolds numbers.
