The one‐step synthesis of D3h‐symmetric cyclic porphyrin trimers 1 composed of three 2,2′‐[4,4′‐bis(methoxycarbonyl)]bipyridyl moieties and three porphyrinatozinc moieties was achieved from a nickel‐mediated reductive coupling of meso‐5,15‐bis(6‐chloro‐4‐methoxycarbonylpyrid‐2‐yl)porphyrinatozinc. Although cyclic trimers 1 were obtained as a mixture that included other cyclic and acyclic porphyrin oligomers, an extremely specific separation was observed only for cyclic trimers 1 when using columns of silica gel modified with pyrenylethyl, cyanopropyl, and other groups. Structural analysis of cyclic trimers 1 was carried out by means of NMR spectroscopy and X‐ray crystallography. Treatment of an η3‐allylpalladium complex with a cyclic trimer gave a tris(palladium) complex containing three η3‐allylpalladium groups inside the space, which indicated that the bipyridyl moieties inside the ring could work as bidentate metalloligands.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title compound, C16H16N3O3+·Cl?·CH4O (WHI‐P131, an inhibitor of Janus kinase 3), contains four hydrogen bonds. There are two hydrogen bonds within the asymmetric unit, i.e. interactions between WHI‐P131 OH and Cl?, and between methanol and Cl?. There is a third interaction between WHI‐P131 NH and Cl? (related by a 21 screw) and a fourth between WHI‐P131 NH and methanol (related by an n‐glide). The hydrogen‐bond pattern for these interactions can be described by the first‐level hydrogen‐bond graph‐set notation D11(2)D11(2)D11(2)D11(2). The second‐level graph‐set notation (for combinations of two hydrogen bonds) was determined to be D12(3)D12(3)D22(4)D22(9)D22(14)C12(9).  相似文献

On crystallization from CHCl3, CCl4, CH2ClCH2Cl and CHCl2CHCl2, 6‐chloro‐5‐hydroxy‐2‐pyridone, C5H4ClNO2, (I), undergoes a tautomeric rearrangement to 6‐chloro‐2,5‐dihydroxypyridine, (II). The resulting crystals, viz. 6‐chloro‐2,5‐dihydroxypyridine chloroform 0.125‐solvate, C5H4ClNO2·0.125CHCl3, (IIa), 6‐chloro‐2,5‐dihydroxypyridine carbon tetrachloride 0.125‐solvate, C5H4ClNO2.·0.125CCl4, (IIb), 6‐chloro‐2,5‐dihydroxypyridine 1,2‐dichloroethane solvate, C5H4ClNO2·C2H4Cl2, (IIc), and 6‐chloro‐2,5‐dihydroxypyridine 1,1,2,2‐tetrachloroethane solvate, C5H4ClNO2·C2H2Cl4, (IId), have I41/a symmetry, and incorporate extensively disordered solvent in channels that run the length of the c axis. Upon gentle heating to 378 K in vacuo, these crystals sublime to form solvent‐free crystals with P21/n symmetry that are exclusively the pyridone tautomer, (I). In these sublimed pyridone crystals, inversion‐related molecules form R22(8) dimers via pairs of N—H...O hydrogen bonds. The dimers are linked by O—H...O hydrogen bonds into R46(28) motifs, which join to form pleated sheets that stack along the a axis. In the channel‐containing pyridine solvate crystals, viz. (IIa)–(IId), two independent host molecules form an R22(8) dimer via a pair of O—H...N hydrogen bonds. One molecule is further linked by O—H...O hydrogen bonds to two 41 screw‐related equivalents to form a helical motif parallel to the c axis. The other independent molecule is O—H...O hydrogen bonded to two related equivalents to form tetrameric R44(28) rings. The dimers are π–π stacked with inversion‐related dimers, which in turn stack the R44(28) rings along c to form continuous solvent‐accessible channels. CHCl3, CCl4, CH2ClCH2Cl and CHCl2CHCl2 solvent molecules are able to occupy these channels but are disordered by virtue of the site symmetry within the channels.  相似文献

Crystals of the title compounds, 20‐(4‐pyridyl)porphyrin‐54,104,154‐tribenzoic acid–dimethyl sulfoxide (2/5), C46H29N5O6·2.5C2H6OS, (I), and 20‐(4‐pyridyl)porphyrin‐54,104,154‐tribenzoic acid–4‐acetylpyridine–tetrahydrofuran (1/2/10), C46H29N5O6·2C7H7NO·10C4H8O, (II), consist of hydrogen‐bonded supramolecular chains of porphyrin units solvated by molecules of dimethyl sulfoxide [in (I)] and 4‐acetylpyridine [in (II)]. In (I), these chains consist of heterogeneous arrays with alternating porphyrin and dimethyl sulfoxide species, being sustained by COOH...O=S hydrogen bonds. They adopt a zigzag geometry and link on both sides to additional molecules of dimethyl sulfoxide. In (II), the chains consist of homogeneous linear supramolecular arrays of porphyrin units, which are directly connected to one another via COOH...N(pyridyl) hydrogen bonds. As in the previous case, these arrays are solvated on both sides by molecules of the 4‐acetylpyridine ligand via similar COOH(porphyrin)...N(ligand) hydrogen bonds. The two crystal structures contain wide interporphyrin voids, which accommodate disordered/diffused solvent molecules, viz. dimethyl sulfoxide in (I) and tetrahydrofuran in (II).  相似文献

Novel D2‐symmetric chiral amidoporphyrins with alkyl bridges across two chiral amide units on both sides of the porphyrin plane (designated “HuPhyrin”) have been effectively constructed in a modular fashion to permit variation of the bridge length. The CoII complexes of HuPhyrin, [Co(HuPhyrin)], represent new‐generation metalloradical catalysts where the metal‐centered d‐radical is situated inside a cavity‐like ligand with a more rigid chiral environment and enhanced hydrogen‐bonding capability. As demonstrated with cyclopropanation and aziridination as model reactions, the bridged [Co(HuPhyrin)] functions notably different from the open catalysts, exhibiting significant enhancement in both reactivity and stereoselectivity. Furthermore, the length of the distal alkyl bridge can have a remarkable influence on the catalytic properties.  相似文献

A novel hybrid‐type chiral binaphthyl‐based polyarylene derivative with polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) units 2a was prepared by Suzuki–Miyaura coupling polymerization from a chiral (R)‐6,6′‐dibromo‐2,2′‐diPOSS‐substituted 1,1′‐binaphthyl derivative 1a and p‐biphenylene diboronic acid. As a reference, a binaphthyl‐based polyarylene derivative without POSS unit 2b was also prepared. The obtained polymers were studied with thermogravimetric analysis, optical rotations, circular dichroism (CD), ultraviolet‐visible, and photoluminescence (PL) spectra. Gel permeation chromatography measurements of 2a and 2b showed that their number‐average molecular weights were 13,300 and 16,500, respectively. The thermal stability of POSS‐modified polymer 2a (temperature of 10% weight loss; T10 = 380 °C) was extremely high compared with that of polymer without POSS unit 2b (T10 = 335 °C) due to the siliceous bulky POSS segments on the side chains. The specific optical rotation [α]D was ?66.7° (c 0.06, CHCl3) for 2a and ?62.3° (c 0.06, CHCl3) for 2b . The CD spectra showed that these two polymers had very similar and strong Cotton effects. Film polymer 2a showed almost the same PL spectrum as that in dilute CHCl3 solution, indicating that bulky POSS units strongly suppressed intermolecular aggregation of the π‐conjugated polymer backbone. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The reaction of 1‐thia‐4,7‐diazacyclononane with bromoacetyl bromide in CHCl3 affords the unexpected salt 4‐(2‐bromoacetyl)‐8‐oxo‐1‐thionia‐4,7‐diazabicyclo[5.2.2]undecane bromide, C10H16BrN2O2S+·Br. Two units of the salt are linked by S⋯Br contacts about a crystallographic inversion centre, thus forming dimers that are linked by Br⋯Br contacts into extended ribbons. S⋯O contacts between these ribbons generate a two‐dimensional sheet.  相似文献

In this work, we have elucidated in detail the folding properties of two perylene bisimide (PBI) foldamers composed of two and three PBI units, respectively, attached to a phenylene ethynylene backbone. The folding behaviors of these new PBI folda‐dimer and trimer have been studied by solvent‐dependent UV/Vis absorption and 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy, revealing facile folding of both systems in tetrahydrofuran (THF). In CHCl3 the dimer exists in extended (unfolded) conformation, whereas partially folded conformations are observed in the trimer. Temperature‐dependent 1H NMR spectroscopic studies in [D8]THF revealed intramolecular dynamic processes for both PBI foldamers due to, on the one hand, hindered rotation around C?N imide bonds and, on the other hand, backbone flapping; the latter process being energetically more demanding as it was observed only at elevated temperature. The structural features of folded conformations of the dimer and trimer have been elucidated by different 2D‐NMR spectroscopy (e.g., ROESY and DOSY) in [D8]THF. The energetics of folding processes for the PBI dimer and trimer have been assessed by calculations applying various methods, particularly the semiempirical PM6‐DH2 and the more sophisticated B97D approach, in which relevant dispersion corrections are included. These calculations corroborate the results of NMR spectroscopic studies. Folding features in the excited states of these PBI foldamers have been characterized by using time‐resolved fluorescence and transient absorption spectroscopy in THF and CHCl3, exhibiting similar solvent‐dependent behavior as observed for the ground state. Interestingly, photoinduced electron transfer (PET) process from electron‐donating backbone to electron‐deficient PBI core for extended, but not for folded, conformations was observed, which can be explained by a fast relaxation of excited PBI stacks in the folded conformation into fluorescent excimer states.  相似文献

Three new complexes: [M(L)(H2O)] [M = Zn ( 1 ), Co ( 2 ), Ni ( 3 ); H2L = 5‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl)aminoisophthalic acid] were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions at 180 °C and were characterized by elemental analysis, FT‐IR spectroscopy, single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The results of X‐ray diffraction analysis reveal that complexes 1 – 3 are isostructural and crystallize in the monoclinic system with space group P21/c. Each of the complexes displays a (3,3′)‐connected two‐dimensional (2D) wave‐like network with (4,82) topology, within which five‐membered uncoplanar N,N‐chelated metallacycles are shaped. Delicate N–H ··· O and O–H ··· O hydrogen bonding interactions exist in complexes 1 – 3 . Adjacent 2D layers are linked by intermolecular interactions, resulting in the construction of extended metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) in complexes 1 and 2 .  相似文献

The bis(arylimino)pyridines, 2‐[CMeN{2,6‐{(4‐FC6H4)2CH}2–4‐NO2}]‐6‐(CMeNAr)C5H3N (Ar = 2,6‐Me2C6H3 L1 , 2,6‐Et2C6H3 L2 , 2,6‐i‐Pr2C6H3 L3 , 2,4,6‐Me3C6H2 L4 , 2,6‐Et2–4‐MeC6H2 L5 ), each containing one N′‐2,6‐bis{di(4‐fluorophenyl)methyl}‐4‐nitrophenyl group, have been synthesized by two successive condensation reactions from 2,6‐diacetylpyridine. Their subsequent treatment with anhydrous cobalt (II) chloride gave the corresponding N,N,N′‐CoCl2 chelates, Co1 – Co5 , in excellent yield. All five complexes have been characterized by 1H/19F NMR and IR spectroscopy as well as by elemental analysis. In addition, the molecular structures of Co1 and Co3 have been determined and help to emphasize the differences in steric properties imposed by the inequivalent N‐aryl groups; distorted square pyramidal geometries are adopted by each complex. Upon activation with either methylaluminoxane (MAO) or modified methylaluminoxane (MMAO), precatalyts Co1 – Co5 collectively exhibited very high activities for ethylene polymerization with 2,6‐dimethyl‐substituted Co1 the most active (up to 1.1 × 107 g (PE) mol?1 (Co) h?1); the MAO systems were generally more productive. Linear polyethylenes of exceptionally high molecular weight (Mw up to 1.3 × 106 g mol?1) were obtained in all cases with the range in dispersities exhibited using MAO as co‐catalyst noticeably narrower than with MMAO [Mw/Mn: 3.55–4.77 ( Co1 – Co5 /MAO) vs. 2.85–12.85 ( Co1 – Co5 /MMAO)]. Significantly, the molecular weights of the polymers generated using this class of cobalt catalyst are higher than any literature values reported to date using related N,N,N‐bis (arylimino)pyridine‐cobalt catalysts.  相似文献

Using 1,10‐phenanothroline‐5,6‐dione and 10,20‐bis(4‐methylphenyl)porphyrin copper as starting materials, a conjugated porphyrin–imidazo[4,5‐f]‐1,10‐phenanothroline ligand (Por 1 ) was prepared. Subsequently, the copper complex of Por 1 was reacted with Ru(1,10‐phenanothroline)2Cl2 to yield ruthenium compound Por 2 . After removal of copper metal under acid condition, the free base porphyrin of Por 2 (Por 3 ) was prepared. The structure of these compounds was confirmed using UV–visible, 1H NMR, mass and infrared spectroscopies and elemental analysis. Through UV–visible, fluorescence and circular dichroism analyses, the interaction modes between Por 1 – 3 and calf thymus DNA were investigated. Por 1 interacted with DNA via outside groove face, but Por 2 and Por 3 showed intercalative interaction with DNA. Binding constants between Por 1 – 3 and DNA were 7.79 × 105, 1.29 × 106 and 1.32 × 106 M?1, respectively. With 5,10,15,20‐tetraphenylporphyrin (H2TPP) as a control, the singlet oxygen (1O2) generation of Por 1 – 3 was measured using the 1,3‐diphenylisobenzofuran method. The 1O2 generation rate of Por 1 – 3 followed the order: Por 3 >Por 1 >H2TPPP >Por 2 . Por 1 and Por 3 showed better 1O2 quantum yields than Por 2 , which were almost threefold higher than that of H2TPP. The DNA cleavage ability of Por 1 – 3 was analyzed using gel electrophoresis. Por 3 showed higher DNA photocleavage activity, with more than 50% photocleavage rate at 20 μM. These results suggest that amphipathic (hydrophilic/lipophilic) Por 3 with conjugated Por 1 ligand is a potential photosensitizer in cancer therapy.  相似文献

A systematic study of the influence of solvent and the size of C3‐symmetric discotics on their supramolecular polymerization mechanism is presented. The cooperativity of the self‐assembly of the reported compounds is directly related to their gelation ability. The two series of C3‐symmetric discotics investigated herein are based on benzene‐1,3,5‐tricarboxamides (BTAs) and oligo(phenylene ethynylene)‐based tricarboxamides (OPE? TAs) that are peripherally decorated with achiral ( 1 a and 2 a ) or chiral N‐(2‐aminoethyl)‐3,4,5‐trialkoxybenzamide units ( 1 b and 2 b ). The supramolecular polymerization of compounds 1 a , b and 2 a , b has been exhaustively investigated in a number of solvents and by using various techniques: variable‐temperature circular dichroism (VT‐CD) spectroscopy, concentration‐dependent 1H NMR spectroscopy, and isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC). The supramolecular polymerization mechanism of compounds 2 is highly cooperative in solvents such as methylcyclohexane and toluene and is isodesmic in CHCl3. Unexpectedly, chiral compound 1 b is practically CD‐silent, in contrast with previously reported BTAs. ITC measurements in CHCl3 demonstrated that the supramolecular polymerization of BTA 1 a is isodesmic. These results confirm the strong influence of the π‐surface of the central aromatic core of the studied discotic and the branched nature of the peripheral side chains on the supramolecular polymerization. The gelation ability of these organogelators is negated in CHCl3, in which the supramolecular polymerization mechanism is isodesmic.  相似文献

meso‐Triazolyl‐appended ZnII–porphyrins were readily prepared by CuI‐catalyzed 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition of benzyl azide to meso‐ethynylated ZnII–porphyrin (click chemistry). In noncoordinating CHCl3 solvent, spontaneous assembly occurred to form tetrameric array ( 3 )2 from mesomeso‐linked diporphyrins 3 , and dodecameric porphyrin squares ( 4 )4 and ( 5 )4 from the L ‐shaped mesomeso‐linked triporphyrins 4 and 5 . The structures of these assemblies were examined by 1H NMR spectra, absorption spectra, and their gel permeation chromatography (GPC) retention time. Furthermore, the structures of the dodecameric porphyrin squares ( 4 )4 and ( 5 )4 were probed by small‐ and wide‐angle X‐ray scattering (SAXS/WAXS) measurements in solution using a synchrotron source. Excitation‐energy migration processes in these assemblies were also investigated in detail by using both steady‐state and time‐resolved spectroscopic methods, which revealed efficient excited‐energy transfer (EET) between the mesomeso‐linked ZnII–porphyrin units that occurred with time constants of 1.5 ps?1 for ( 3 )2 and 8.8 ps?1 for ( 5 )4.  相似文献

Five novel pyrazole‐coupled glucosides, 1,5‐diaryl‐1H‐pyrazol‐3‐yl 2,3,4,6‐tetra‐O‐acetyl‐β‐D ‐glucopyranosides 5a – 5e , were synthesized by the phase‐transfer catalytic reaction of 1,5‐diaryl‐1H‐pyrazol‐3‐ols 4a – 4e with acetobromo‐α‐D ‐glucose in H2O/CHCl3 under alkaline conditions, using Bu4N+Br? as catalyst. Then, glucosides 5a – 5c were deacetylated in a solution of Na2CO3/MeOH to yield the 1,5‐diaryl‐3‐(β‐D ‐glucopyranosyloxy)‐1H‐pyrazoles 6a – 6c . Their structures were characterized by 1H,1H‐COSY, 1H‐, 13C‐, and 19F‐NMR spectroscopy, as well as elemental analysis. The structures of 5d and 6c were also determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. A preliminary in vitro bioassay indicated that compounds 4e and 5d exhibited excellent‐to‐medium fungicidal activity against Sclerotinia sclerotiorum at the dosage of 10 μg/ml.  相似文献

Six new triorganotin complexes ( 1a – 1c and 2a – 2c ) of 5‐(salicylideneamino)salicylic acid, [5‐(3‐X‐2‐HOC6H3CH═N)‐2‐HOC6H3COO]SnR3 (X = H, 1 ; CH3O, 2 ; R = Ph, a ; Cy, b ; CH2C(CH3)2Ph, c ), have been synthesized by one‐pot reaction of 5‐aminosalicylic acid, salicylaldehyde and triorganotin hydroxide and characterized using elemental analysis and infrared and NMR (1H, 13C and 119Sn) spectra. The crystal structures of 1a , 1b , 2a ·CH3OH, 2b ·CH3OH and 2c ·CHCl3 have been determined using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. In non‐coordinated solvent CDCl3, the tin atoms in the complexes are all four‐coordinated. In the crystalline state, these compounds adopt a four‐ or five‐coordination mode. Complex 1a exhibits a 44‐membered macrocyclic tetrameric structure with trigonal bipyramidal geometry around the tin atoms in which the axial positions are occupied by the oxygen atom of carboxylate group of the ligand and the phenolic oxygen atom from the adjacent ligand. The coordination geometry of tin atom in 1b and 2c ·CHCl3 is a distorted tetrahedron shaped by three carbon atoms of alkyl groups and a carboxylate oxygen atom of the ligand. In 2a ·CH3OH and 2b ·CH3OH, the tin atom has a distorted trans‐C3SnO2 trigonal bipyramidal geometry formed by three alkyl groups, a monodentate carboxylate group and a coordinated methanol molecule. The molecules of 2a ·CH3OH and 2b ·CH3OH are linked via O─H···O hydrogen bonds into a one‐dimensional supramolecular chain and a centrosymmetric R44(22) macrocycle, respectively. Bioassay results against two human tumor cell types (A549 and HeLa) show the complexes are efficient cytostatic agents and may be explored as potential antitumor drugs.  相似文献

About Lanthanide Oxotantalates with the Formula MTaO4 (M = La – Nd, Sm – Lu) Besides being a by‐product of solid state syntheses in tantalum ampoules the lanthanide(III) oxotantalates of the formula MTaO4 can be easily prepared by sintering lanthanide sesquioxide M2O3 and tantalum(V) oxide Ta2O5 with sodium chloride as flux. Under these conditions two structure types emerge depending upon the M3+ cationic radius. For M = La – Pr the MTaO4‐type tantalates crystallize in the space group P21/c with lattice constants of a = 762(±1), b = 553(±4), c = 777(±4) pm, β = 101(±1)° and four formula units per unit cell. With M = Nd, Sm – Lu, the monoclinic cell dimensions (space group P2/c) shrink to the lattice constants like a = 516(±9), b = 551(±9), c = 534(±9) pm, β = 96.5(±0.3)° and there are only two formula units present. Both structures show a coordination sphere of eight oxygen atoms for the lanthanide trications shaped as distorted square antiprism for the structure with the larger lanthanides (in the following referred to as A‐type) and as trigonal dodecahedron for the structure with the smaller ones (called as B‐type in the following). The coordination environment about the Ta5+ cations can be described as a slightly distorted octahedron (CN = 6) for the A‐type structure of MTaO4 and a heavily distorted one (CN = 6) for the B‐type. The difference between the two types results from the interconnection of these [TaO6]7? octahedra. Whereas they are connected via four vertices to form corrugated layers according to parallel the bc‐plane in the A‐type, the octahedra of the B‐type MTaO4 structure share edges to built up zig‐zag chains along the c axis.  相似文献

In contrast with their dimeric homologue, triply fused zinc porphyrin trimer–pentamer, as extra‐large π‐extended mesogens, assemble into columnar liquid crystals (LCs) when combined with 3,4,5‐tri(dodecyloxy)phenyl side groups ( 3 PZn – 5 PZn , Figure 1 ). Their LC mesophases develop over a wide temperature range, namely, 41–280 °C (on heating) for 5 PZn , and all adopt an oblique columnar geometry, typically seen in columnar LC materials involving strong mesogenic interactions. These LC materials are characterized by their wide light‐absorption windows from the entire visible region up to a near infrared (NIR) region. Such ultralow‐bandgap LC materials are chemically stable and serve as hole transporters, in which 5 PZn gives the largest charge carrier mobility (2.4×10?2 cm V?1 s?1) among the series. Despite a big dimensional difference, they coassemble without phase separation, in which the resultant LC materials display essentially no deterioration of the intrinsic conducting properties.  相似文献
