Acid functionalized multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (f‐MWCNTs) were decorated with Au and Fe2O3 nanoparticles (FeONPs) and deposited on glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The resulting hybrid Au/Fe2O3/f‐MWCNTs/GCE electrode and the one further modified by glucose oxidase were compared for detection of glucose. FeONPs and Au were deposited on the f‐MWCNTs by sonication‐assisted precipitation and deposition‐precipitation methods, respectively. The morphology and structure of the samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy. A uniform distribution of FeONPs with an average size of 5 nm increased the surface area of functionalized nanotubes from 39 to 50 m2/g. The electrocatalytic glucose detection on the modified electrodes was evaluated using cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry in 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution at pH 7.0. The non‐enzymatic and enzymatic electrodes show sensitivity of 512.4 and 921.4 mA/mM.cm2 and detection limit of 1.7 and 0.9 mM, respectively. The enzymatic and enzymeless electrodes retained more than 70 % and 80 % of their cathodic faradic current after 70 days, respectively. The sensing mechanism of the non‐enzymatic biosensor is described through the reaction of glucose with iron (III) ions, while in the case of enzymatic electrode, glucose is oxidized by glucose oxidase.  相似文献

The electrochemical synthesis of silver nanoparticles (nano‐Ag) has been successfully carried out on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) and indium tin oxide electrode (ITO) using 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (BMT) as green electrolytes. Further the electrodeposited nano‐Ag modified ITO electrode has been examined using atomic force microscopy (AFM), and X‐ray diffraction studies (XRD). The electrodeposited Ag nanoparticles on ITO were found in the size range of 5 to 35 nm. The nano‐Ag film modified GCE was further coated with nafion (Nf) and BMT (1 : 1 ratio) mixture and found to be stable in BMT and in pH 7 phosphate buffer solution (PBS). The nano‐Ag/BMT‐Nf film modified GCE successfully applied for the oxygen reduction reaction in neutral pH (pH 7.0 PBS). The proposed film modified GCE successfully reduces the over potential and show well defined reduction peaks for the detection of dissolved oxygen using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and rotating disc voltammetry (RDE). The film also applied for the detection of dissolved oxygen using electrochemical impedance spectroscopic studies (EIS).  相似文献

This work presents a sensitive voltammetric method for determination of folic acid by adsorbing methylene blue onto electrodeposited reduced graphene oxide film modified glassy carbon electrode (MB/ERGO/GCE) in 100 mM KCl‐10 mM sodium phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.40). The surface morphology of the MB/ERGO/GCE modified electrode was characterized using scanning electron microscopy, displays that both MB and ERGO distributed homogeneously on the surface of GCE. The MB/ERGO/GCE modified electrode shows more favorable electron transfer kinetics for potassium ferricyanide and potassium ferrocyanide probe molecules, which are important electroactive compounds, compared with bare GCE, MB/GCE, and ERGO/GCE. The electrochemical behaviors of folic acid at MB/ERGO/GCE were investigated by cyclic voltammetry, suggesting that the modified electrode exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity towards folic acid compared with other electrodes. Under physiological condition, the MB/ERGO/GCE modified electrode showed a linear voltammetric response from 4.0 μM to 167 μM for folic acid, and with the detection limit of 0.5 μM (S/N=3). The stability, reproducibility and anti‐interference ability of the modified electrode were examined. The developed method has been successfully applied to determination of FA in tablets with a satisfactory recovery from 96 % to 100 %. The work demonstrated that the electroactive MB adsorbing onto graphene modified electrode showed an enhanced electron transfer property and a high resolution capacity to FA.  相似文献

A simple, sensitive and reliable electrochemical sensor has been developed based on CuO nanostructures modified glassy carbon electrode for simultaneous determination of hydroquinone (HQ) and ascorbic acid (AA). The CuO nano material was synthesized by aqueous chemical growth method using different sources of OH. The characterization of nano material was performed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy. The glassy carbon electrode was modified by CuO nano material using drop cast method and studied by cyclic voltammetry. The CuO/GCE exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidations of HQ and AA in borate buffer solution (pH 8.0) and the corresponding electrochemical signals have appeared as two well resolved oxidation peaks with significant peak potential differences of (0.21V vs. Ag/AgCl). Differential pulse voltammetry was used for simultaneous determination of HQ and AA using the CuO/GCE. At the optimum conditions, for simultaneous determination by synchronous change of the analyte concentrations, the linear response ranges were between 0.0003–0.355 mM for HQ and 0.0001–0.30 mM for AA respectively. Furthermore, CuO/GCE was successfully applied for the independent determination of AA in fruit juices as well as for the simultaneous determination of HQ and AA in cosmetic samples.  相似文献

A novel Prussian blue/copper‐gold bimetallic nanoparticles hybrid film modified electrode was prepared by electrochemical deposition on a glassy carbon electrode (PB/Cu‐AuNPs/GCE). Morphology and electrochemistry of this electrode were studied by UV‐vis spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The sensor showed significantly better electrocatalytic activity for the reduction of hydrogen peroxide in comparison with the single PB/GCE and PB/AuNPs/GCE. This was attributed to the synergistic effect of PB and Cu‐Au bimetallic nanoparticles. Also, the sensor demonstrated an overall high level of performance for the analysis of H2O2 in the concentration range from 0.002 to 0.84 mM.  相似文献

This work presents a sensitive voltammetric method for determination of the flavonoid baicalein by using a thermally reduced graphene oxide (TRGO) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) in 100 mM KCl‐10 mM sodium phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.40). The surface morphology and structure of TRGO investigated by atomic force microscopy, FT‐IR spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy reveal that the TRGO prepared maintained as single or bilayer sheets and with significant edge‐plane‐like defect sites. The TRGO/GCE modified electrode shows more favorable electron transfer kinetics for potassium ferricyanide and potassium ferrocyanide probe molecules, which are important electroactive compounds, compared with bare GCE and GO/GCE electrodes. The electrochemical behaviors of baicalein at the TRGO/GCE were investigated by cyclic voltammetry, suggesting that the TRGO/GCE exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity to baicalein. Under physiological conditions, the modified electrode showed linear voltammetric response from 10 nM to 10 µM for baicalein, with a detection limit of 6.0 nM. This work demonstrates that the graphene‐modified electrode is a promising tool for electrochemical determination of flavonoid drugs.  相似文献

A new amperometric biosensor based on adsorption of glucose oxidase (GOx) at the CuGeO3 nanowires (NW) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) is reported in this article. The properties of the biosensor were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and electrochemical techniques. The GCE modified with the CuGeO3 NW/GOD showed excellent electrocatalytical response to the oxidation of glucose. Different parameters including GOx concentration, working potential and pH of supporting electrolyte that governed the analytical performance of the biosensor have been studied in detail and optimized. The biosensor was applied to detect glucose with a linear range of 0.5 to 7 mM. The biosensor exhibited excellent reproducibility and stability.  相似文献

A novel electrochemical sensor based on nanocellulose‐carbon nanoparticles (NC‐CNPs) nanocomposite film modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) is developed for the analysis of metoclopramide (MCP). Atomic force microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were used to characterize the roughness, surface morphology and performance of the deposited modifier film on GCE. SEM image demonstrated that modifier nanoparticles are uniformly deposited on GCE, with an average size of less than 50 nm. The electrochemical behavior of MCP and its oxidation product is studied using linear sweep and cyclic voltammetry over a wide pH range on NC‐CNPs modified glassy carbon electrode. The results revealed that the oxidation of MCP is an irreversible and pH‐dependent process that proceeds in an adsorption‐controlled mechanism and results in the formation of a main oxidation product, which adsorbs on the surface of NC‐CNPs/ GCE. The modified electrode showed a distinctive anodic response towards MCP with a considerable enhancement (49 fold) compared to the bare GCE. Under the optimized conditions, the modified electrode exhibited a wide linear dynamic range of 0.06–2.00 µM with a detection limit of 6 nM for the voltammetric determination of MCP. The prepared modified electrode showed several advantages such as simple preparation method, high stability, reproducibility, and repetitive usability. The modified electrode is successfully applied for the accurate determination of trace amounts of MCP in pharmaceutical and clinical preparations.  相似文献

A promising electrochemical biosensor was fabricated by electrochemical grafting of ribonucleic acid (RNA) at 1.8 V (vs. SCE) on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) (denoted as RNA/GCE), for simultaneous detection of dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) with coexistence of excess amount of ascorbic acid (AA). The electrode was characterized by X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) techniques. The RNA modified layer on GCE exhibited superior catalytic ability and anionic exclusive ability in comparison with the DNA modified electrode. Three separated anodic DPV peaks were obtained at 0.312, 0.168 and ?0.016 V for UA, DA and AA, respectively, at the RNA/GCE in pH 7.0 PBS. In the presence of 2.0 mM AA, a linear range of 0.37 to 36 μM with a detection limit of 0.2 μM for DA, and in the range of 0.74 to 73 μM with a detection limit of 0.36 μM for UA were obtained. The co‐existence of 5000 fold AA did not interfere with the detection of DA or UA. The modified electrode shows excellent selectivity, good sensitivity and good stability.  相似文献

This work presents a sensitive voltammetric method for determination of curcumin by using a electrochemically reduced graphene oxide (ERGO) modified glass carbon electrode (GCE) in 100 mM KCl‐10 mM sodium phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.40). The electrochemical behaviors of curcumin at ERGO/GCE were investigated by cyclic voltammetry, suggesting that the ERGO/GCE exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity towards curcumin, compared with bare GCE and GO/GCE electrodes. The electrochemical reaction mechanisms of curcumin, demethoxycurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin at the ERGO/GCE were also investigated and discussed systematically. Under physiological condition, the modified electrode showed linear voltammetric response from 0.2 μM to 60.0 μM for curcumin, with the detection limit of 0.1 μm. This work demonstrates that the graphene‐modified electrode is a promising strategy for electrochemical determination of biological important phenolic compounds.  相似文献

The mixed‐valent nickel hexacyanoferrate (NiHCF) and poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) hybrid film (NiHCF‐PEDOT) was prepared on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by multiple scan cyclic voltammetry. The films were characterized using atomic force microscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (AC impedance). The advantages of these films were demonstrated for the detection of ascorbic acid (AA) using cyclic voltammetry and amperometric techniques. The electrocatalytic oxidation of AA at different electrode surfaces, such as the bare GCE, the NiHCF/GCE, and the NiHCF‐PEDOT/GCE modified electrodes, was determined in phosphate buffer solution (pH 7). The AA electrochemical sensor exhibited a linear response from 5×10−6 to 1.5×10−4 M (R2=0.9973) and from 1.55×10−4 to 3×10−4 M (R2=0.9983), detection limit=1×10−6 M, with a fast response time (3 s) for AA determination. In addition, the NiHCF‐PEDOT/GCE was advantageous in terms of its simple preparation, specificity, stability and reproducibility.  相似文献

A copper nano particles and cerium (IV) oxide modified carbon nanotube based composite on glassy carbon electrode (Cu−CeO2/MWCNT/GCE) was fabricated for simultaneous determination of guanine and adenine. The surface morphology, chemistry and conductance of the prepared electrodes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersion X‐ray (EDX), X‐Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The Cu−CeO2/MWCNT/GCE improved electrochemical behaviour of guanine and adenine compared to other electrodes. The modified electrode was also used for individual and simultaneous determination of guanine and adenine. Under optimized conditions, the calibration curves were obtained linearly in the range of 0.20 to 6.00 μM for the guanine and 0.10 to 8.0 μM for the adenine by differential pulse voltammetry. The limits of detection of guanine and adenine were calculated as 0.128 and 0.062 μM, respectively. Interferences studies were also performed in the presence of inorganic and organic compounds. Moreover, the determination of guanine and adenine contents were carried out in a calf thymus DNA sample by the developed method with satisfactory results.  相似文献

In this study, the electrocatalytic characteristics of nitrogen‐doped carbon (NDC) prepared from Clerodendrum Infortunatum L leaves on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) surface was evaluated with regards to its ability to detect the electroactive drug ketoconazole (KCZ). The NDC was prepared by carrying out a simple pyrolysis of dry powder of the leaves at 850 °C. The prepared NDC was characterized using field‐emission scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Brunauer‐Emmett‐Teller analysis, and was then used as an electrode material. The performance of the electrochemical KCZ sensor with the NDC‐modified glassy carbon electrode (NDC/GCE) was found to be optimal when using PBS buffer at pH 3 and a concentration of 0.1 mg/ml of NDC in the conjugate with Nafion polymer. Under these conditions, the NDC/GCE displayed a KCZ detection limit of 3 μM and a linear dependence of its response on KCZ concentration over a wide range of KCZ concentrations from 47 μM to 752 μM (R2=0.9742). These results confirmed the potential of NDC as an electrocatalyst.  相似文献

Abstract

Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) were treated with a mixture of concentrated sulfuric and nitric acid to introduce carboxylic acid groups to the nanotubes. Conducting polymer film was prepared by electrochemical polymerization of neutral red (NR). By using a layer‐by‐layer method, homogeneous and stable MWNTs and poly (neutral red) (PNR) multilayer films were alternately assembled on glassy carbon (GC) electrodes. With the introduction of PNR, the MWNTs/PNR multilayer film system showed synergy between the MWNTs and PNR, with a significant improvement of redox activity due to the excellent electron‐transfer ability of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and PNR. The electropolymerization is advantageous, providing both prolonged long‐term stability and improved catalytic activity of the resulting modified electrodes. The MWNTs/PNR multilayer film modified glassy carbon electrode allows low potential detection of hydrogen peroxide with high sensitivity and fast response time. As compared to MWNTs and PNR‐modified GC electrodes, the magnitude of the amperometric response of the MWNTs/PNR composite‐modified GC electrode is more than three‐fold greater than that of the MWNTs modified GC electrode, and nine‐fold greater than that of the PNR‐modified GC electrode. With the immobilization of glucose oxidase onto the electrode surface using glutaric dialdehyde, a biosensor that responds sensitively to glucose has been constructed. In pH 6.98 phosphate buffer, nearly interference‐free determination of glucose has been realized at ?0.2 V vs. SCE with a linear range from 50 µM to 10 mM and response time <10s. The detection limit was 10 µM glucose (S/N=3).  相似文献

A highly selective, fast and stable biosensor for determination of glucose in soluble coffee has been developed. The biosensor electrode consist of a thin film of ferric hexacyanoferrate (Prussian Blue or PB) electrodeposited on the glassy carbon electrode (GCE) (to provide a catalytic surface for the detection of hydrogen peroxide) glucose oxidase immobilized on top of the electrode and a Nafion® polymer layer. The stability of the PB film and the biosensor was evaluated by injecting standard-solution (50 μM H2O2 and 0.5 mM glucose) during 4 h in a flow-injection system with the electrodes polarized at −50 mV versus Ag/AgCl. The system is able to handle about 60 samples per hour and is very stable and suitable for industrial control. Determination of glucose in the range 2.5 and 15% (w/v) in phosphate buffer with precision (r.s.d. < 1.5%) has been achieved and is in agreement with the conventional procedures. Linear calibration in the range of 0.15 and 2.50 mM with detection limits of ca. 0.03 mM has been obtained. The morphology of the enzyme glucose oxidase on the modified electrode has been analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) measurements.  相似文献

Diphenylamine (DPA) monomers have been electropolymerized on the amino‐functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotube (AFCNT) composite film modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The surface morphology of PDPA‐AFCNT was studied using field‐emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM). The interfacial electron transfer phenomenon at the modified electrode was studied using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The PDPA‐AFCNT/GCE represented a multifunctional sensor and showed good electrocatalytic behavior towards the oxidation of catechol and the reduction of hydrogen peroxide. Rotating‐disk electrode technique was applied to detect catechol with a sensitivity of 1360 µA mM?1 cm?2 and a detection limit of 0.01 mM. Amperometric determination of hydrogen peroxide at the PDPA‐AFCNT film modified electrode results in a linear range from 10 to 800 µM, a sensitivity of 487.1 µA mM?1 cm?2 and detection limit of 1 µM. These results show that the nano‐composite film modified electrode can be utilized to develop a multifunctional sensor.  相似文献

Nafion (Nf) was used as a protective membrane. For the characterization of the composites, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X‐ray powder diffractometer (XRD), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were used. The electrochemical properties of the modified electrodes were investigated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and amperometry. The resulting Nf/rGO‐APTES/GOx/GC and Nf/rGO‐APTES/GC composites showed good electrocatalytical activity toward glucose and H2O2, respectively. The Nf/rGO‐APTES/GC electrode exhibited a linear range of H2O2 concentration from 0.05 to 15.25 mM with a detection limit (LOD) of 0.017 mM and sensitivity of 124.87 μA mM−1 cm−2. The Nf/rGO‐APTES/GOx/GC electrode showed a linear range of glucose from 0.02 to 4.340 mM with a LOD of 9 μM and sensitivity of 75.26 μA mM−1 cm−2. A highly sensitive and selective chemical sensor was prepared based on metallic copper‐copper oxides and zinc oxide decorated graphene oxide modified glassy carbon electrode (Cu?Zn/GO/GCE) through an easily electrochemical method for the quantification of bisphenol A (BPA). The composite electrode was characterized via scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X‐Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The electrochemical behavior of BPA in Britton‐Robinson (BR) buffer solution (pH 7.1) was examined using cyclic voltammetry (CV). Under optimized conditions, the square wave voltammetry (SWV) response of Cu?Zn/GO/GCE towards BPA indicates two linear relationships within concentrations (3.0 nmol L?1?0.1 μmol L?1 and 0.35 μmol L?1?20.0 μmol L?) and has a low detection limit (0.88 nmol L?1). The proposed electrochemical sensor based on Cu?Zn/GO/GCE is both time and cost effective, has good reproducibility, high selectivity as well as stability for BPA determination. The developed composite electrode was used to detect BPA in various samples including baby feeding bottle, pacifier, water bottle and food storage container and satisfactory results were obtained with high recoveries.  相似文献

The nanoporous graphene papers (NGPs) was prepared by the hard‐template method. The Pt−Pd modified NGPs hybrid was prepared by the self‐assembly method. Then a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with Pt−Pd bimetallic nanoparticles‐functionalized nanoporous graphene composite has been prepared for the electrochemical determination of Xanthine (XA). The Pt−Pd/NGPs hybrid was characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscope and X‐ray diffraction. The electrochemical behavior of XA on Pt−Pd/NGPs/GCE was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and amperometric i‐t. The Pt−Pd/NGPs modified electrode exhibited remarkably electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation reaction of XA in phosphate buffer solution (pH=5.5). Under the optimal conditions, the determination of XA was accomplished by using amperometric i‐t, the linear response range from 1.0×10−5∼1.2×10−4 M. The detection limit was 3.0×10−6 M (S/N=3). The proposed modified electrode showed good sensitivity, selectivity, and stability with applied to determine XA in human urine.  相似文献
