Synthesis, structure, and reactivity of carboranylamidinate‐based half‐sandwich iridium and rhodium complexes are reported for the first time. Treatment of dimeric metal complexes [{Cp*M(μCl)Cl}2] (M=Ir, Rh; Cp*=η5‐C5Me5) with a solution of one equivalent of nBuLi and a carboranylamidine produces 18‐electron complexes [Cp*IrCl(CabN‐DIC)] ( 1 a ; CabN‐DIC=[iPrN?C(closo‐1,2‐C2B10H10)(NHiPr)]), [Cp*RhCl(CabN‐DIC)] ( 1 b ), and [Cp*RhCl(CabN‐DCC)] ( 1 c ; CabN‐DCC=[CyN?C(closo‐1,2‐C2B10H10)(NHCy)]). A series of 16‐electron half‐sandwich Ir and Rh complexes [Cp*Ir(CabN′‐DIC)] ( 2 a ; CabN′‐DIC=[iPrN?C(closo‐1,2‐C2B10H10)(NiPr)]), [Cp*Ir(CabN′‐DCC)] ( 2 b , CabN′‐DCC=[CyN?C(closo‐1,2‐C2B10H10)(NCy)]), and [Cp*Rh(CabN′‐DIC)] ( 2 c ) is also obtained when an excess of nBuLi is used. The unexpected products [Cp*M(CabN,S‐DIC)], [Cp*M(CabN,S‐DCC)] (M=Ir 3 a , 3 b ; Rh 3 c , 3 d ), formed through BH activation, are obtained by reaction of [{Cp*MCl2}2] with carboranylamidinate sulfides [RN?C(closo‐1,2‐C2B10H10)(NHR)]S? (R=iPr, Cy), which can be prepared by inserting sulfur into the C? Li bond of lithium carboranylamidinates. Iridium complex 1 a shows catalytic activities of up to 2.69×106 gPNB ${{\rm{mol}}_{{\rm{Ir}}}^{ - {\rm{1}}} }Synthesis, structure, and reactivity of carboranylamidinate-based half-sandwich iridium and rhodium complexes are reported for the first time. Iridium complex 1?a shows catalytic activities of up to 2.69×10(6) g(PNB) mol(Ir)(-1) h(-1) for the polymerization of norbornene in the presence of methylaluminoxane (MAO) as cocatalyst. Catalytic activities and the molecular weight of polynorbornene (PNB) were investigated under various reaction conditions. All complexes were fully characterized by elemental analysis and IR and NMR spectroscopy; the structures of 1?a-c, 2?a, b; and 3?a, b, d were further confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The reaction of [{Ir(cod)(μ‐Cl)}2] and K2CO3 or of [{Ir(cod)(μ‐OMe)}2] alone with the non‐natural tetrapyrrole 2,2′‐bidipyrrin (H2BDP) yields, depending on the stoichiometry, the mononuclear complex [Ir(cod)(HBDP)] or the homodinuclear complex [{Ir(cod)}2(BDP)]. Both complexes react readily with carbon monoxide to yield the species [Ir(CO)2(HBDP)] and [{Ir(CO)2}2(BDP)], respectively. The results from NMR spectroscopy and X‐ray diffraction reveal different conformations for the tetrapyrrolic ligand in both complexes. The reaction of [{Ir(coe)2(μ‐Cl)}2] with H2BDP proceeds differently and yields the macrocyclic [4e?,2H+]‐oxidized product [IrCl2(9‐Meic)] (9‐Meic = monoanion of 9‐methyl‐9,10‐isocorrole), which can be addressed as an iridium analog of cobalamin.  相似文献

The ready availability of rare parent amido d8 complexes of the type [{M(μ‐NH2)(cod)}2] (M=Rh ( 1 ), Ir ( 2 ); cod=1,5‐cyclooctadiene) through the direct use of gaseous ammonia has allowed the study of their reactivity. Both complexes 1 and 2 exchanged the di‐olefines by carbon monoxide to give the dinuclear tetracarbonyl derivatives [{M(μ‐NH2)(CO)2}2] (M=Rh or Ir). The diiridium(I) complex 2 reacted with chloroalkanes such as CH2Cl2 or CHCl3, giving the diiridium(II) products [(Cl)(cod)Ir(μ‐NH2)2Ir(cod)(R)] (R=CH2Cl or CHCl2) as a result of a two‐center oxidative addition and concomitant metal–metal bond formation. However, reaction with ClCH2CH2Cl afforded the symmetrical adduct [{Ir(μ‐NH2)(Cl)(cod)}2] upon release of ethylene. We found that the rhodium complex 1 exchanged the di‐olefines stepwise upon addition of selected phosphanes (PPh3, PMePh2, PMe2Ph) without splitting of the amido bridges, allowing the detection of mixed COD/phosphane dinuclear complexes [(cod)Rh(μ‐NH2)2Rh(PR3)2], and finally the isolation of the respective tetraphosphanes [{Rh(μ‐NH2)(PR3)2}2]. On the other hand, the iridium complex 2 reacted with PMe2Ph by splitting the amido bridges and leading to the very rare terminal amido complex [Ir(cod)(NH2)(PMePh2)2]. This compound was found to be very reactive towards traces of water, giving the more stable terminal hydroxo complex [Ir(cod)(OH)(PMePh2)2]. The heterocyclic carbene IPr (IPr=1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐ylidene) also split the amido bridges in complexes 1 and 2 , allowing in the case of iridium to characterize in situ the terminal amido complex [Ir(cod)(IPr)(NH2)]. However, when rhodium was involved, the known hydroxo complex [Rh(cod)(IPr)(OH)] was isolated as final product. On the other hand, we tested complexes 1 and 2 as catalysts in the transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone with iPrOH without the use of any base or in the presence of Cs2CO3, finding that the iridium complex 2 is more active than the rhodium analogue 1 .  相似文献

A series of binuclear complexes [{Cp*Ir(OOCCH2COO)}2(pyrazine)] ( 1 b ), [{Cp*Ir(OOCCH2COO)}2(bpy)] ( 2 b ; bpy=4,4′‐bipyridine), [{Cp*Ir(OOCCH2COO)}2(bpe)] ( 3 b ; bpe=trans‐1,2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)ethylene) and tetranuclear metallamacrocycles [{(Cp*Ir)2(OOC‐C?C‐COO)(pyrazine)}2] ( 1 c ), [{(Cp*Ir)2(OOC‐C?C‐COO)(bpy)}2] ( 2 c ), [{(Cp*Ir)2(OOC‐C?C‐COO)(bpe)}2] ( 3 c ), and [{(Cp*Ir)2[OOC(H3C6)‐N?N‐(C6H3)COO](pyrazine)}2] ( 1 d ), [{(Cp*Ir)2[OOC(H3C6)‐N?N‐(C6H3)COO](bpy)}2] ( 2 d ), [{(Cp*Ir)2[OOC(H3C6)‐N?N‐(C6H3)COO](bpe)}2] ( 3 d ) were formed by reactions of 1 a – 3 a {[(Cp*Ir)2(pyrazine)Cl2] ( 1 a ), [(Cp*Ir)2(bpy)Cl2] ( 2 a ), and [(Cp*Ir)2(bpe)Cl2] ( 3 a )} with malonic acid, fumaric acid, or H2ADB (azobenzene‐4,4′‐chcarboxylic acid), respectively, under mild conditions. The metallamacrocycles were directly self‐assembled by activation of C? H bonds from dicarboxylic acids. Interestingly, after exposure to UV/Vis light, 3 c was converted to [2+2] cycloaddition complex 4 . The molecular structures of 2 b , 1 c , 1 d , and 4 were characterized by single‐crystal x‐ray crystallography. Nanosized tubular channels, which may play important roles for their stability, were also observed in 1 c , 1 d , and 4 . All complexes were well characterized by 1H NMR and IR spectroscopy, as well as elemental analysis.  相似文献

Molecular and Crystal Structure of Bis[chloro(μ‐phenylimido)(η5‐pentamethylcyclopentadienyl)tantalum(IV)](Ta–Ta), [{TaCl(μ‐NPh)Cp*}2] Despite the steric hindrance of the central atom in [TaCl2(NPh)Cp*] (Ph = C6H5, Cp* = η5‐C5(CH3)5), caused by the Cp* ligand, the imido‐ligand takes a change in bond structure when this educt is reduced to the binuclear complex [{TaCl(μ‐NPh)Cp*}2] in which tantalum is stabilized in the unusual oxidation state +4.  相似文献

The reactions of Cp*M(PMe3)Cl2 (M = Rh ( 1a ), Ir ( 1b )) with (NEt4)2[WS4] led to the heterodimetallic sulfido‐bridged complexes Cp*M(PMe3)[(μ‐S)2WS2] (M = Rh ( 2a ), Ir ( 2b )), whereas the dimers [Cp*MCl(μ‐Cl)]2 (M = Rh ( 4a ), Ir ( 4b )) reacted with (NEt4)2[WS4) to give the known trinuclear compounds [Cp*M(Cl)]2(μ‐WS4) (M = Rh ( 5a ), Ir ( 5b )). Hydrolysis of the terminal W=S bonds converts 2a, b into Cp*M(PMe3)[(μ‐S)2WO2] (M = Rh ( 3a ), Ir ( 3b )). Salts of a heterodimetallic anion, A[CpMo(I)(NO)(WS4)] ( 6 ) (A+ = NEt4+, NPh4+) were obtained by reactions of [CpMo(NO)I2]2 with tetrathiotungstates, A2[WS4]. The complexes were characterized by IR and NMR (1H, 13C, 31P) spectroscopy, and the X‐ray crystallographic structure of Cp*Rh(PMe3)[(μ‐S)2WS2] ( 2a ) has been determined. The bond lengths and angles in the coordinations spheres of Rh and W in 2a (Rh···W 288.5(1) pm) are compared with related complexes containing terminal [WS42—] chelate ligands.  相似文献

On the Reactivity of Titanocene Complexes [Ti(Cp′)22‐Me3SiC≡CSiMe3)] (Cp′ = Cp, Cp*) towards Benzenedicarboxylic Acids Titanocene complexes [Ti(Cp′)2(BTMSA)] ( 1a , Cp′ = Cp = η5‐C5H5; 1b , Cp′ = Cp* = η5‐C5Me5; BTMSA = Me3SiC≡CSiMe3) were found to react with iodine and methyl iodide yielding [Ti(Cp′)2(μ‐I)2] ( 2a / b ; a refers to Cp′ = Cp and b to Cp′ = Cp*), [Ti(Cp′)2I2] ( 3a / b ) and [Ti(Cp′)2(Me)I] ( 4a / b ), respectively. In contrast to 2a , complex 2b proved to be highly moisture sensitive yielding with cleavage of HCp* [{Ti(Cp*)I}2(μ‐O)] ( 7 ). The corresponding reactions of 1a / b with p‐cresol and thiophenol resulted in the formation of [Ti(Cp′)2{O(p‐Tol)}2] ( 5a / b ) and [Ti(Cp′)2(SPh)2] ( 6a / b ), respectively. Reactions of 1a and 1b with 1,n‐benzenedicarboxylic acids (n = 2–4) resulted in the formation of dinuclear titanium(III) complexes of the type [{Ti(Cp′)2}2{μ‐1,n‐(O2C)2C6H4}] (n = 2, 8a / b ; n = 3, 9a / b ; n = 4, 10a / b ). All complexes were fully characterized analytically and spectroscopically. Furthermore, complexes 7 , 8b , 9a ·THF, 10a / b were also be characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analyses.  相似文献

The reaction of [CpRuCl(PPh3)2] (Cp=cyclopentadienyl) and [CpRuCl(dppe)] (dppe=Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) with bis‐ and tris‐phosphine ligands 1,4‐(Ph2PC≡C)2C6H4 ( 1 ) and 1,3,5‐(Ph2PC≡C)3C6H3 ( 2 ), prepared by Ni‐catalysed cross‐coupling reactions between terminal alkynes and diphenylchlorophosphine, has been investigated. Using metal‐directed self‐assembly methodologies, two linear bimetallic complexes, [{CpRuCl(PPh3)}2(μ‐dppab)] ( 3 ) and [{CpRu(dppe)}2(μ‐dppab)](PF6)2 ( 4 ), and the mononuclear complex [CpRuCl(PPh3)(η1‐dppab)] ( 6 ), which contains a “dangling arm” ligand, were prepared (dppab=1,4‐bis[(diphenylphosphino)ethynyl]benzene). Moreover, by using the triphosphine 1,3,5‐tris[(diphenylphosphino)ethynyl]benzene (tppab), the trimetallic [{CpRuCl(PPh3)}33‐tppab)] ( 5 ) species was synthesised, which is the first example of a chiral‐at‐ruthenium complex containing three different stereogenic centres. Besides these open‐chain complexes, the neutral cyclic species [{CpRuCl(μ‐dppab)}2] ( 7 ) was also obtained under different experimental conditions. The coordination chemistry of such systems towards supramolecular assemblies was tested by reaction of the bimetallic precursor 3 with additional equivalents of ligand 2 . Two rigid macrocycles based on cis coordination of dppab to [CpRu(PPh3)] were obtained, that is, the dinuclear complex [{CpRu(PPh3)(μ‐dppab)}2](PF6)2 ( 8 ) and the tetranuclear square [{CpRu(PPh3)(μ‐dppab)}4](PF6)4 ( 9 ). The solid‐state structures of 7 and 8 have been determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis and show a different arrangement of the two parallel dppab ligands. All compounds were characterised by various methods including ESIMS, electrochemistry and by X‐band ESR spectroscopy in the case of the electrogenerated paramagnetic species.  相似文献

Reactions of Cp*NbCl4 and Cp*TaCl4 with Trimethylsilyl‐azide, Me3Si‐N3. Molecular Structures of the Bis(azido)‐Oxo‐Bridged Complexes [Cp*NbCl(N3)(μ‐N3)]2(μ‐O) and [Cp*TaCl2(μ‐N3)]2(μ‐O) (Cp* = Pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) The chloro ligands in Cp*TaCl4 (1c) can be stepwise substituted for azido ligands by reactions with trimethylsilyl azide, Me3Si‐N3 (A) , to generate the complete series of the bis(azido)‐bridged dimers [Cp*TaCl3‐n(N3)n(μ‐N3)]2 ( n = 0 (2c) , n = 1 (3c) , n = 2 (4c) and n = 3 (5c) ). If the solvent CH2Cl2 contains traces of water, an additional oxo bridge is incorporated to give [Cp*‐TaCl2(μ‐N3)]2(μ‐O) (6c) or [Cp*TaCl(N3)(μ‐N3)]2(μ‐O) (7c) , respectively. Both 6c and 7c are also formed in stoichiometric reactions from [Cp*TaCl2(μ‐OH)]2(μ‐O) (8c) and A . Analogous reactions of Cp*NbCl4 (1b) with A were used to prepare the azide‐rich dinuclear products [Cp*NbCl3‐n(N3)n(μ‐N3)]2 (n = 2 (4b) , and n = 3 (5b) ), and [Cp*NbCl(N3)(μ‐N3)]2(μ‐O) (7b) . The mononuclear complex Cp*Ta(N3)Me3 (10c) is obtained from Cp*Ta(Cl)Me3 and A . All azido complexes were characterised by their IR as well as their 1H and 13C NMR spectra; X‐ray crystal structure analyses are available for 6c and 7b .  相似文献

Lithium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide, LiN(SiMe3)2, reacts with Cp*V(O)Cl2 and Cp*TaCl4 to give trimethylsilylimido complexes such as [Cp*V(NSiMe3)(μ‐NSiMe3)]2 ( 7 ) and Cp*Ta(Cl)(NSiMe3)[N(SiMe3)2] ( 19 ), respectively. Substitution of the chloro ligand in 19 by anionic groups leads to complexes with 3 different N‐containing ligands, Cp*Ta(X)(NSiMe3)[N(SiMe3)2] (X = N3 ( 20 ) or NPEt3 ( 21 )). Complex 7 is air‐ and moisture‐sensitive, and several derivatives containing oxo and trimethylsiloxy ligands have been identified. Trimethylsilyl azide, Me3Si‐N3, is able to replace the oxygen‐containing ligands for azido ligands. The two complete series of bis(azido)‐bridged complexes, [Cp*VCln(N3)2‐n(μ‐N3)]2 (n = 2, 1, 0) and [Cp*TaCln(N3)3‐n(μ‐N3)]2(n = 3, 2, 1, 0), are accessible from the reactions of Cp*VCl3 and Cp*TaCl4, respectively, with trimethylsilyl azide. A bis(nitrido)‐bridged azido‐vanadium complex, [Cp*V(N3)(μ‐N)]2 ( 18 ), has also been obtained and structurally characterized.  相似文献

1H NMR exchange spectroscopy of a reaction mixture of [Cp*Ir(H)4] ( 1 ; Cp*=1,2,3,4,5‐pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) and ammonia suggests an exchange of hydrogen atoms between the hydrido ligands and ammonia. Treatment of 1 with ND3 led to an H/D exchange between ND3 and the hydrido ligands of 1 . Subsequent studies showed that photolysis of 1 isolated in frozen argon matrices leads to the formation of the iridium compounds [Cp*Ir(H)2] ( 2 ) and [Cp*Ir(H)3] ( 4 ), as it was confirmed by IR spectroscopy. In the presence of water the aqua complex [Cp*Ir(H)2(OH2)] ( 3 ) was generated simultaneously. Accordingly, photolysis of 1 in an argon matrix doped with ammonia gave rise to the ammine complex [Cp*Ir(H)2(NH3)] ( 5 ). IR assignments were supported by calculations of the gas‐phase IR spectra of 1 – 5 by DFT methods.  相似文献

N‐Heterocyclic carbene‐phosphinidene adducts of the type (IDipp)PR [R = Ph ( 5 ), SiMe3 ( 6 ); IDipp = 1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazolin‐2‐ylidene] were used as ligands for the preparation of rhodium(I) and iridium(I) complexes. Treatment of (IDipp)PPh ( 5 ) with the dimeric complexes [M(μ‐Cl)(COD)]2 (M = Rh, Ir; COD = 1,5‐cyclcooctadiene) afforded the corresponding metal(I) complexes [M(COD)Cl{(IDipp)PPh}] [M = Rh ( 7 ) or Ir ( 8 )] in moderate to good yields. The reaction of (IDipp)PSiMe3 ( 6 ) with [Ir(μ‐Cl)(COD)]2 did not yield trimethylsilyl chloride elimination product, but furnished the 1:1 complex, [Ir(COD)Cl{(IDipp)PSiMe3}] ( 9 ). Additionally, the rhodium‐COD complex 7 was converted into the corresponding rhodium‐carbonyl complex [Rh(CO)2Cl{(IDipp)PPh}] ( 10 ) by reaction with an excess of carbon monoxide gas. All complexes were fully characterized by NMR spectroscopy, microanalyses, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

The bonding modes of the ligand di‐2‐pyridyl ketoxime towards half‐sandwich arene ruthenium, Cp*Rh and Cp*Ir complexes were investigated. Di‐2‐pyridyl ketoxime {pyC(py)NOH} react with metal precursor [Cp*IrCl2]2 to give cationic oxime complexes of the general formula [Cp*Ir{pyC(py)NOH}Cl]PF6 ( 1a ) and [Cp*Ir{pyC(py)NOH}Cl]PF6 ( 1b ), for which two coordination isomers were observed by NMR spectroscopy. The molecular structures of the complexes revealed that in the major isomer the oxime nitrogen and one of the pyridine nitrogen atoms are coordinated to the central iridium atom forming a five membered metallocycle, whereas in the minor isomer both the pyridine nitrogen atoms are coordinated to the iridium atom forming a six membered metallacyclic ring. Di‐2‐pyridyl ketoxime react with [(arene)MCl2]2 to form complexes bearing formula [(p‐cymene)Ru{pyC(py)NOH}Cl]PF6 ( 2 ); [(benzene)Ru{pyC(py)NOH}Cl]PF6 ( 3 ), and [Cp*Rh{pyC(py)NOH}Cl]PF6 ( 4 ). In case of complex 3 the ligand coordinates to the metal by using oxime nitrogen and one of the pyridine nitrogen atoms, whereas in complex 4 both the pyridine nitrogen atoms are coordinated to the metal ion. The complexes were fully characterized by spectroscopic techniques.  相似文献

Yttrocene‐carboxylate complex [Cp*2Y(OOCArMe)] (Cp*=C5Me5, ArMe=C6H2Me3‐2,4,6) was synthesized as a spectroscopically versatile model system for investigating the reactivity of alkylaluminum hydrides towards rare‐earth‐metal carboxylates. Equimolar reactions with bis‐neosilylaluminum hydride and dimethylaluminum hydride gave adduct complexes of the general formula [Cp*2Y(μ‐OOCArMe)(μ‐H)AlR2] (R=CH2SiMe3, Me). The use of an excess of the respective aluminum hydride led to the formation of product mixtures, from which the yttrium‐aluminum‐hydride complex [{Cp*2Y(μ‐H)AlMe2(μ‐H)AlMe2(μ‐CH3)}2] could be isolated, which features a 12‐membered‐ring structure. The adduct complexes [Cp*2Y(μ‐OOCArMe)(μ‐H)AlR2] display identical 1J(Y,H) coupling constants of 24.5 Hz for the bridging hydrido ligands and similar 89Y NMR shifts of δ=?88.1 ppm (R=CH2SiMe3) and δ=?86.3 ppm (R=Me) in the 89Y DEPT45 NMR experiments.  相似文献

Reactions of [{M(μ‐Cl)(coe)2}2] (M = Rh, Ir; coe = cis‐cyclooctene) with the secondary phosphane tBu2PH under various molar ratios were investigated. Probably, for kinetic reasons, the reaction behavior of the rhodium species differed from that of the iridium analogue in some instances. During these studies complexes [MCl(tBu2PH)3] [M = Rh ( 1 ), Ir ( 2 )] were isolated, and solution variable‐temperature 31P{1H} NMR studies revealed that these complexes show a conformational rigidity on the NMR time scale. Spectra recorded in the temperature range from 173 to 373 K indicated in each case only one rotamer containing three chemically nonequivalent phosphanes due to the restricted rotation of these ligands about the M–P bonds and the tert‐butyl substituents around the P–C(tBu) bonds, respectively. Compound 1 showed in solution already at room temperature in several solvents a dissociation of a phosphane ligand affording the known complex [{Rh(μ‐Cl)(tBu2PH)2}2] beside the free phosphane. In contrast to these findings, the iridium analogue 2 remained completely unchanged under similar conditions and exhibited, therefore, some kinetic inertness. For a better understanding of the NMR spectroscopic investigations, the molecular structure of 1 in the solid state was confirmed by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

A high‐yielding synthetic route for the preparation of group 9 metallaboratrane complexes [Cp*MBH(L)2], 1 and 2 ( 1 , M=Rh, 2 , M=Ir; L=C7H4NS2) has been developed using [{Cp*MCl2}2] as precursor. This method also permitted the synthesis of an Rh–N,S‐heterocyclic carbene complex, [(Cp*Rh)(L2)(1‐benzothiazol‐2‐ylidene)] ( 3 ; L=C7H4NS2) in good yield. The reaction of compound 3 with neutral borane reagents led to the isolation of a novel borataallyl complex [Cp*Rh(L)2B{CH2C(CO2Me)}] ( 4 ; L=C7H4NS2). Compound 4 features a rare η3‐interaction between rhodium and the B‐C‐C unit of a vinylborane moiety. Furthermore, with the objective of generating metallaboratranes of other early and late transition metals through a transmetallation approach, reactions of rhoda‐ and irida‐boratrane complexes with metal carbonyl compounds were carried out. Although the objective of isolating such complexes was not achieved, several interesting mixed‐metal complexes [{Cp*Rh}{Re(CO)3}(C7H4NS2)3] ( 5 ), [Cp*Rh{Fe2(CO)6}(μ‐CO)S] ( 6 ), and [Cp*RhBH(L)2W(CO)5] ( 7 ; L=C7H4NS2) have been isolated. All of the new compounds have been characterized in solution by mass spectrometry, IR spectroscopy, and 1H, 11B, and 13C NMR spectroscopies, and the structural types of 4 – 7 have been unequivocally established by crystallographic analysis.  相似文献

On the Reactivity of Alkylthio Bridged 44 CVE Triangular Platinum Clusters: Reactions with Bidentate Phosphine Ligands The 44 cve (cluster valence electrons) triangular platinum clusters [{Pt(PR3)}3(μ‐SMe)3]Cl (PR3 = PPh3, 2a ; P(4‐FC6H4)3, 2b ; P(n‐Bu)3, 2c ) were found to react with PPh2CH2PPh2 (dppm) in a degradation reaction yielding dinuclear platinum(I) complexes [{Pt(PR3)}2(μ‐SMe)(μ‐dppm)]Cl (PR3 = PPh3, 3a ; P(4‐FC6H4)3, 3b ; P(n‐Bu)3; 3e ) and the platinum(II) complex [Pt(SMe)2(dppm)] ( 4 ), whereas the addition of PPh2CH2CH2PPh2 (dppe) to cluster 2a afforded a mixture of degradation products, among others the complexes [Pt(dppe)2] and [Pt(dppe)2]Cl2. On the other hand, the treatment of cluster 2a with PPh2CH2CH2CH2PPh2 (dppp) ended up in the formation of the cationic complex [{Pt(dppp)}2(μ‐SMe)2]Cl2 ( 5 ). Furthermore, the terminal PPh3 ligands in complex 3a proved to be subject to substitution by the stronger donating monodentate phosphine ligands PMePh2 and PMe2Ph yielding the analogous complexes [{Pt(PR3)}2(μ‐SMe)(μ‐dppm)]Cl (PR3 = PMePh2, 3c ; PMe2Ph, 3d ). NMR investigations on complexes 3 showed an inverse correlation of Tolmans electronic parameter ν with the coupling constants 1J(Pt,P) and 1J(Pt,Pt). All compounds were fully characterized by means of NMR and IR spectroscopy. X‐ray diffraction analyses were performed for the complexes [{Pt{P(4‐FC6H4)3}}2(μ‐SMe)(μ‐dppm)]Cl ( 3b ), [Pt(SMe)2(dppm)] ( 4 ), and [{Pt(dppp)}2(μ‐SMe)2]Cl2 ( 5 ).  相似文献

The bidentate P,N hybrid ligand 1 allows access for the first time to novel cationic phosphinine‐based RhIII and IrIII complexes, broadening significantly the scope of low‐coordinate aromatic phosphorus heterocycles for potential applications. The coordination chemistry of 1 towards RhIII and IrIII was investigated and compared with the analogous 2,2′‐bipyridine derivative, 2‐(2′‐pyridyl)‐4,6‐diphenylpyridine ( 2 ), which showed significant differences. The molecular structures of [RhCl(Cp*)( 1 )]Cl and [IrCl(Cp*)( 1 )]Cl (Cp*=pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) were determined by means of X‐ray diffraction and confirm the mononuclear nature of the λ3‐phosphinine–RhIII and IrIII complexes. In contrast, a different reactivity and coordination behavior was found for the nitrogen analogue 2 , especially towards RhIII as a bimetallic ion pair [RhCl(Cp*)( 2 )]+[RhCl3(Cp*)]? is formed rather than a mononuclear coordination compound. [RhCl(Cp*)( 1 )]Cl and [IrCl(Cp*)( 1 )]Cl react with water regio‐ and diastereoselectively at the external P?C double bond, leading exclusively to the anti‐addition products [MCl(Cp*)( 1 H ? OH)]Cl as confirmed by X‐ray crystal‐structure determination.  相似文献

Synthesis and Molecular Structure of the Dinuclear Compounds [Cp*TaCl(N3)(μ‐N3)]2(μ‐O) and [Cp*Ta(N3)3(μ‐N3)]2 (Cp* = Pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) The reaction of Cp*TaCl4 ( 1 ) with an excess of trimethylsilyl azide (Me3Si–N3) leads to azide‐rich dinuclear complexes which contain both terminal and bridging azido ligands. The oxo complex [Cp*TaCl(N3)(μ‐N3)]2(μ‐O) ( 4 ) was formed in dichloromethane in the presence of traces of water, whereas [Cp*Ta(N3)3(μ‐N3)]2 ( 5 ) was obtained from boiling toluene after several days. According to the X‐ray structure determinations the Ta…Ta distance in 4 (314,5 pm) is considerably shorter than in 5 (382,2 pm).  相似文献

Triangulated Dodecahedral Heterotrimetallic‐ and ‐tetrametallic Iron–Ruthenium Clusters with CpR and Pn Ligands (n = 5, 4) The cothermolysis of [Cp*Fe(η5‐P5)] ( 1 ) and [{Cp″(OC)2Ru}2](Ru–Ru) ( 2 ), Cp″ = C5H3But2‐1,3, affords low yields of [Cp″Ru(η5‐P5)] ( 3 ) and [{Cp″Ru}2P4] ( 4 ) as well as the triangulated dodecahedral hetero‐ and homotrimetallic clusters [{Cp″Ru}2{Cp*Fe}P5] ( 5 ), [{Cp″Ru}3P5] ( 6 ), [{Cp*Fe}2{Cp″Ru}P5] ( 7 ) and the tetranuclear compound [{Cp″Ru}3{Cp*Fe}P4] ( 8 ). X‐ray crystallographic studies show that the P5 ligand in the distorted M2M′P5‐triangulated dodecahedra of 5 and 7 offers an unusual novel coordination mode derived from the educt 1 .  相似文献
