A homogeneous liquid‐liquid extraction performed in narrow tube coupled to in–syringe‐dispersive liquid‐liquid microextraction based on deep eutectic solvent has been developed for the extraction of six herbicides from tea samples. In this method, sodium chloride as a separation agent is filled into the narrow tube and the tea sample is placed on top of the salt. Then a mixture of deionized water and deep eutectic solvent (water miscible) is passed through the tube. In this procedure, the deep eutectic solvent is realized as tiny droplets in contact with salt. By passing the droplets from the tea layer placed on the salt layer, the analytes are extracted into them. After collecting the solvent as separated layer, it is mixed with another deep eutectic solvent (choline chloride/butyric acid) and the mixture is dispersed into deionized water placed in a syringe. After adding acetonitrile to break up the cloudy state, the collected organic phase is injected into gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry. Under optimal conditions, limits of detection and quantification in the ranges of 2.6–8.4 and 9.7–29 ng/kg, respectively, were obtained. The extraction recoveries and enrichment factors in the ranges of 70–89% and 350–445 were obtained, respectively. 相似文献

Deep eutectic solvents are considered as new and green solvents that can be widely used in analytical chemistry such as microextraction. In the present work, a new dl‐ menthol‐based hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent was synthesized and used as extraction solvents in an air‐assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction method for preconcentration and extraction of benzophenone‐type UV filters from aqueous samples followed by high‐performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection. In an experiment, the deep eutectic solvent formed by dl‐ menthol and decanoic acid was added to an aqueous solution containing the UV filters, and then the mixture was sucked up and injected five times by using a glass syringe, and a cloudy state was achieved. After extraction, the solution was centrifuged and the upper phase was subjected to high‐performance liquid chromatography for analysis. Various parameters such as the type and volume of the deep eutectic solvent, number of pulling, and pushing cycles, solution pH and salt concentration were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the developed method exhibited low limits of detection and limits of quantitation, good linearity, and precision. Finally, the proposed method was successfully applied to determine the benzophenone‐type filters in environmental water samples with relative recoveries of 88.8–105.9%. 相似文献

In recent years, hydrophobic deep eutectic solvents as new generation of green solvents have attracted wide attention in liquid microextraction technique. In this article, four hydrophobic deep eutectic solvents composed of trioctylmethylammonium chloride and oleic acid were designed and prepared firstly. Combined with high‐performance liquid chromatography, these deep eutectic solvents were used as an extraction solvent in vortex‐assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction for the selective enrichment and indirect determination of trace nitrite from real water and biological samples. This method is based on the diazotization‐coupling reaction of nitrite with p‐nitroaniline and diphenylamine in acidic water, and then the nitrite is quantified indirectly by measuring the obtained azo compounds. Some factors influencing the extraction efficiency, including the reaction and extraction conditions, were investigated. Under the optimized conditions, the method has a linear range of 1–300 μg/L with a correlation coefficient of 0.9924, limit of detection of 0.2 μg/L, limit of quantitation of 1 μg/L, intraday and interday relative standard deviations of 4.0 and 6.0%. This method was successfully applied in determination of nitrite from three environmental water and two biological samples with the recovery in the range of 90.5–115.2%. In addition, these results were well agreement with those obtained by the conventional Griess method. 相似文献

We present a novel dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction method based on the solidification of deep eutectic solvent coupled with high‐performance liquid chromatography with a variable‐wavelength detection for the detection of five benzoylureas in real water samples. In this work, a green solvent consisting of 1‐octyl‐3‐methylimidazolium chloride and 1‐dodecanol was used as an extraction solvent, yielding the advantages of material stability, low density, and a suitable freezing point near room temperature. Parameters that significantly affect extraction efficiency were optimized by the one‐factor‐at‐a‐time approach. Under optimal conditions, the recoveries of five target compounds were obtained ranging from 87.39 to 98.05% with correlation coefficients ranging from 0.9994 to 0.9997 for pure water. The limits of detection were in the range of 0.09–0.16 μg/L. The enrichment factors were in the range of 171–188. Linearities were achieved in the range of 0.5–500 μg/L. The proposed method was successfully applied to determine benzoylureas in environmental water samples with a satisfactory recovery of approximately 81.38–97.67%. 相似文献

A green and efficient sample preparation method using a deep eutectic solvent‐based ultrasounds‐assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction with solidification of the aqueous phase followed by high performance liquid chromatography analysis was developed for preconcentration and determination of heavy metals in environmental samples. In the proposed method, a novel, low density deep eutectic solvent was prepared by mixing trihexyl(tetradecyl)phosphonium chloride and thiosalicylic acid at a molar ratio of 1:2 and used both as an extractant and complexing agent. Ultrasound was used to disperse the extractant in the aqueous phase of the sample. Then, the phases were separated by centrifugation, after which the aqueous phase was frozen and the surface extractant phase was dissolved in a small volume of acetonitrile and subjected to liquid chromatographic analysis. The proposed method provided precisions (relative standard deviation, n = 5) in the range of 2.6–4.7%. The limit of detection were 0.05, 0.13, 0.06, and 0.11 µg/L for Pb(II), Cd(II), Co(II), Ni(II), respectively. The enhancement factors were equal to 154, 159, 162, and 158 for lead(II), cadmium(II), cobalt(II), and nickel(II), respectively. The accuracy of the proposed method was evaluated using certified reference materials (CA011b – hard drinking water, NIST 1643e – trace elements in water, TMRAIN‐04 – simulated rain sample). 相似文献

An approach involving ion‐pair switchable‐hydrophilicity solvent‐based homogeneous liquid–liquid microextraction coupled to high‐performance liquid chromatography has been applied for the preconcentration and separation of paraquat in a real sample. A mixture of triethylamine and water was used as the switchable‐hydrophilicity solvent. The pH was regulated using carbon dioxide; hence the ratio of the ionized and non‐ionized form of triethylamine could control the optimum conditions. Sodium dodecyl sulfate was utilized as an ion‐pairing agent. The ion‐associate complex formed between the cationic paraquat and sodium dodecyl sulfate was extracted into triethylamine. The separation of the two phases was carried out by the addition of sodium hydroxide, which changed the ionization state of triethylamine. The effects of some important parameters on the extraction recovery were investigated. Under the optimum conditions (500 μL of the extraction solvent, 1 mg sodium dodecyl sulfate, 2.0 mL of 10 mol/L sodium hydroxide, and pH 4), the limit of detection and the limit of quantification were 0.2 and 0.5 μg/L, respectively, with preconcentration factor of 74. The precision (RSD, n = 10) was <5%. The recovery of the analyte in environmental and biological samples was in the range of 90.0–92.3%. 相似文献

Determination of methamphetamine in forensic laboratories is a major issue due to its health and social harm. In this work, a simple, sensitive, and environmentally friendly method based on ionic liquid dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction combined with high‐performance liquid chromatography was established for the analysis of methamphetamine in human urine. 1‐Octyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate with the help of disperser solvent methanol was selected as the microextraction solvent in this process. Various parameters affecting the extraction efficiency of methamphetamine were investigated systemically, including extraction solvent and its volume, disperser solvent and its volume, sample pH, extraction temperature, and centrifugal time. Under the optimized conditions, a good linearity was obtained in the concentration range of 10–1000 ng/mL with determination coefficient >0.99. The limit of detection calculated at a signal‐to‐noise ratio of 3 was 1.7 ng/mL and the relative standard deviations for six replicate experiments at three different concentration levels of 100, 500, and 1000 ng/mL were 6.4, 4.5, and 4.7%, respectively. Meanwhile, up to 220‐fold enrichment factor of methamphetamine and acceptable extraction recovery (>80.0%) could be achieved. Furthermore, this method has been successfully employed for the sensitive detection of a urine sample from a suspected drug abuser. 相似文献

In the present study, a simple and rapid method for the extraction and preconcentration of some polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in water samples has been developed. In this method, two sample preparation methods were combined to obtain high extraction recoveries and enrichment factors for sensitive analysis of the selected analytes. In the first stage of the method, a homogeneous solution containing an aqueous solution and cyclohexyl amine is broken by the addition of a salt. After centrifugation, the upper collected phase containing the extracted analytes is subjected to the following dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction method. Rapid injection of the mixture of cyclohexyl amine resulted from the first stage and 1,1,2‐trichloroethane (as an extraction solvent) into an acetic acid solution is led to form a cloudy solution. After centrifuging, the fine droplets of the extraction solvent are settled down in the bottom of the test tube, and an aliquot of it is analyzed by gas chromatography. Under the optimum extraction conditions, enrichment factors and limits of detection for the studied analytes were obtained in the ranges of 616–752 and 0.08–0.20 μg/L, respectively. The simplicity, high extraction efficiency, short sample preparation time, low cost, and safety demonstrated the efficiency of this method relative to other approaches. 相似文献

In the present study, a new extraction method based on a three–phase system, liquid–liquid–liquid extraction, followed by dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction has been developed and validated for the extraction and preconcentration of three commonly prescribed tricyclic antidepressant drugs – amitriptyline, imipramine, and clomipramine – in human plasma prior to their analysis by gas chromatography–flame ionization detection. The three phases were an aqueous phase (plasma), acetonitrile and n–hexane. The extraction mechanism was based on the different affinities of components of the biological sample (lipids, fatty acids, pharmaceuticals, inorganic ions, etc.) toward each of the phases. This provided high selectivity toward the analytes since most interferences were transferred into n–hexane. In this procedure, a homogeneous solution of the aqueous phase (plasma) and acetonitrile (water–soluble extraction solvent) was broken by adding sodium sulfate (as a phase separating agent) and the analytes were extracted into the fine droplets of the formed acetonitrile. Next, acetonitrile phase was mixed with 1,2–dibromoethane (as a preconcentration solvent at microliter level) and then the microextraction procedure mentioned above was performed for further enrichment of the analytes. Under the optimum extraction conditions, limits of detection and lower limits of quantification for the analytes were obtained in the ranges of 0.001–0.003 and 0.003–0.010 μg mL−1, respectively. The obtained extraction recoveries were in the range of 79–98%. Intra– and inter–day precisions were < 7.5%. The validated method was successfully applied for determination of the selected drugs in human plasma samples obtained from the patients who received them. 相似文献

A green extractant, hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent was first introduced for extraction of tetracycline, oxytetracycline, and chlortetracycline from environmental water samples prior to high‐performance liquid chromatography determination. Deep eutectic solvents consist of methyltrioctylammonium chloride and various medium‐chain alcohols/acids, and are easy in preparation, low cost and toxicity, desirably biodegradable, and biocompatible. The overall time required for sample preparation was 6 min and the volume of organic solvent used for extraction was only 400 µL. Under the optimized extraction condition, the present method yielded low limit of detection (0.5–2.0 ng/mL), acceptable precision (relative standard deviations < 9.7%), good linearity from 2.0 to 500 ng/mL (r2 ≥ 0.9991). This optimized procedure was applied for determination of tetracyclines in different water samples with desirable spiked recovery ranged from 77.5 to 87.6%. There is, therefore, a great potential to further expand application of the method for investigation of other ultra‐trace analyte(s) in environmental matrixes. 相似文献

ABSTRACTThe parabens, which are harmful to our bodies, are primarily utilized as preservatives in medicine, personal care products and cosmetics. A novel, more efficient, fast and cheap vortex-assisted liquid phase microextraction method based on deep eutectic solvents (DESs) was developed for the determination of parabens. The microextraction conditions were optimized using these solvents and the analytical parameters of the method were determined under optimal microextraction conditions. After extraction, the chromatographic separation of parabens was undertaken using high-performance liquid chromatography-UV detection. Experimental parameters, such as DES type, DES volume, dilution solvent volume and vortex extraction time were optimized. DES6 [ChCl-Ethylene glycol (1/2)] was the most suitable DES to work in this study. Detection limits for this method of 0.053 µg mL?1 for methylparaben, 0.061 µg mL?1 for ethylparaben, 0.049 µg mL?1 for propylparaben and 0.052 µg mL?1 for butylparaben were obtained. Correlation coefficients (R2) for a concentration range of 0.1–100 µg mL?1 were higher than 0.9992 and relative standard deviation (RSD) values below 2.91% at parabens concentration of 2.5 µg mL?1 were obtained. The results of spike/recovery values of real samples were greater than 84%. When compared with other methods, the main advantages include lower LOD, short extraction time, rapidity, repeatability and simplicity. 相似文献

A sample pretreatment method based on the combination of a three‐phase solvent extraction system and deep eutectic solvent‐based dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction has been introduced for the extraction of four organochlorine pesticides in cocoa samples before their determination by gas chromatography‐electron capture detection. A mixture of sodium chloride, acetonitrile, and potassium hydroxide solution is added to cocoa bean or powder. After vortexing and centrifugation of the mixture, the collected upper phase (acetonitrile) is removed and mixed with a few microliters of N,N‐diethanol ammonium chloride: pivalic acid deep eutectic solvent. Then it is rapidly injected into deionized water and a cloudy solution is obtained. Under optimum conditions, the limits of detection and quantification were found to be 0.011‐0.031 and 0.036‐0.104 ng/g, respectively. The obtained extraction recoveries varied between 74 and 92%. Also, intra‐ (n = 6) and interday (n = 4) precisions were less than or equal to 7.1% for the studied pesticides at a concentration of 0.3 ng/g of each analyte. The suggested method was applied to determine the studied organochlorine pesticide residues in various cocoa powders and beans gathered from groceries in Tabriz city (Iran) and aldrin and dichlobenil were found in some of them. 相似文献

A simple, environmentally benign, and rapid method based on temperature‐controlled liquid–liquid microextraction using a deep eutectic solvent was developed for the simultaneous extraction/preconcentration of diazinon and fenitrothion. The method involved the addition of deep eutectic solvent to the aqueous sample followed by heating the mixture in a 75°C water bath until the solvent was completely dissolved in the aqueous phase. Then, the resultant solution was cooled in an ice bath and a cloudy solution was formed. Afterward, the mixture was centrifuged and the enriched deep eutectic solvent phase was analyzed by high‐performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection for quantification of the analytes. The factors affecting the extraction efficiency were optimized. Under the optimized extraction conditions, the limits of detection for diazinon and fenitrothion were 0.3 and 0.15 μg/L, respectively. The calibration curves for diazinon and fenitrothion exhibited linearity in the concentration range of 1–100 and 0.5–100 μg/L, respectively. The relative standard deviations for five replicate measurements at 10.0 μg/L level of analytes were less than 2.8 and 4.5% for intra‐ and interday assays, respectively. The developed method was successfully applied to the determination of diazinon and fenitrothion in water and fruit juice samples. 相似文献

Salting‐out assisted liquid–liquid extraction coupled to dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction for the determination of chlorophenols in wine by high‐performance liquid chromatography 下载免费PDF全文
A novel procedure of sample preparation combined with high‐performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection is introduced for the analysis of highly chlorinated phenols (trichlorophenols, tetrachlorophenols, and pentachlorophenol) in wine. The main features of the proposed method are (i) low‐toxicity diethyl carbonate as extraction solvent to selectively extract the analytes without matrix effect, (ii) the combination of salting‐out assisted liquid–liquid extraction and dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction to achieve an enrichment factor of 334–361, and (iii) the extract is analyzed by high‐performance liquid chromatography to avoid derivatization. Under the optimum conditions, correlation coefficients (r) were >0.997 for calibration curves in the range 1–80 ng/mL, detection limits and quantification limits ranged from 0.19 to 0.67 and 0.63 to 2.23 ng/mL, respectively, and relative standard deviation was <8%. The method was applied for the determination of chlorophenols in real wines, with recovery rates in the range 82–104%. 相似文献

A three‐phase hollow‐fiber liquid‐phase microextraction based on deep eutectic solvent as acceptor phase was developed and coupled with high‐performance capillary electrophoresis for the simultaneous extraction, enrichment, and determination of main active compounds (hesperidin, honokiol, shikonin, magnolol, emodin, and β,β′‐dimethylacrylshikonin) in a traditional Chinese medicinal formula. In this procedure, two hollow fibers, impregnated with n‐heptanol/n‐nonanol (7:3, v/v) mixture in wall pores as the extraction phase and a combination (9:1, v/v) of methyltrioctylammonium chloride/glycerol (1:3, n/n) and methanol in lumen as the acceptor phase, were immersed in the aqueous sample phase. The target analytes in the sample solution were first extracted through the organic phase, and further back‐extracted to the acceptor phase during the stirring process. Important extraction parameters such as types and composition of extraction solvent and deep eutectic solvent, sample phase pH, stirring rate, and extraction time were investigated and optimized. Under the optimal conditions, detection limits were 0.3–0.8 ng/mL with enrichment factors of 6–114 for the analytes and linearities of 0.001–13 μg/mL (r2 ≥ 0.9901). The developed method was successfully applied to the simultaneous extraction and concentration of the main active compounds in a formula of Zi‐Cao‐Cheng‐Qi decoction with the major advantages of convenience, effectiveness, and environmentally friendliness. 相似文献

For the first time a dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction method on the basis of an extraction solvent lighter than water was presented in this study. Three organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs) were selected as model compounds and the proposed method was carried out for their preconcentration from water samples. In this extraction method, a mixture of cyclohexane (extraction solvent) and acetone (disperser) is rapidly injected into the aqueous sample in a special vessel (see experimental section) by syringe. Thereby, a cloudy solution is formed. In this step, the OPPs are extracted into the fine droplets of cyclohexane dispersed into aqueous phase. After centrifuging the fine droplets of cyclohexane are collected on the upper of the extraction vessel. The upper phase (0.40 μL) is injected into the gas chromatograph (GC) for separation. Analytes were detected by a flame ionization detector (FID) (for high concentrations) or MS (for low concentrations). Some important parameters, such as the kind of extraction and dispersive solvents and volume of them, extraction time, temperature, and salt amount were investigated. Under the optimum conditions, the enrichment factors (EFs) ranged from 100 to 150 and extraction recoveries varied between 68 and 105%, both of which are relatively high over those of published methods. The linear ranges were wide (10–100 000 μg/L for GC‐FID and 0.01–1 μg/L for GC‐MS) and LODs were low (3–4 μg/L for GC‐FID and 0.003 μg/L for GC‐MS). The RSDs for 100.0 μg/L of each OPP in water were in the range of 5.3–7.8% (n = 5). 相似文献

In‐syringe‐assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction coupled to gas chromatography with mass spectrometry for the determination of six phthalates in water samples 下载免费PDF全文

A fully automated method for the determination of six phthalates in environmental water samples is described. It is based in the novel sample preparation concept of in‐syringe dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction, coupled as a front end to GC–MS, enabling the integration of the extraction steps and sample injection in an instrumental setup that is easy to operate. Dispersion was achieved by aspiration of the organic (extractant and disperser) and the aqueous phase into the syringe very rapidly. The denser‐than‐water organic droplets released in the extraction step, were accumulated at the head of the syringe, where the sedimented fraction was transferred to a rotary micro‐volume injection valve where finally was introduced by an air stream into the injector of the GC through a stainless‐steel tubing used as interface. Factors affecting the microextraction efficiency were optimized using multivariate optimization. Figures of merit of the proposed method were evaluated under optimal conditions, achieving a detection limit in the range of 0.03–0.10 μg/L, while the RSD% value was below 5% (n = 5). A good linearity (0.9956 ≥ r2 ≥ 0.9844) and a broad linear working range (0.5–120 μg/L) were obtained. The method exhibited enrichment factors and recoveries, ranging from 14.11–16.39 and 88–102%, respectively. 相似文献

An ionic liquid‐based dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction followed by RP‐HPLC determination of the most commonly prescribed protease inhibitor, saquinavir, in rat plasma was developed and validated. The effects of different ionic liquids, dispersive solvents, extractant/disperser ratio and salt concentration on sample recovery and enrichment were studied. Among the ionic liquids investigated, 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate was found to be most effective for extraction of saquinavir from rat serum. The recovery was found to be 95% at an extractant/disperser ratio of 0.43 using 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate and methanol as extraction and dispersive solvents. The recovery was further enhanced to 99.5% by addition of 5.0% NaCl. A threefold enhancement in detection and quantification limits was achieved, at 0.01 and 0.03 µg/mL, compared with the conventional protein precipitation method. A linear relationship was observed in the range of 0.035–10.0 µg/mL with a correlation coefficient (r2) of 0.9996. The method was validated and applied to study pharmacokinetics of saquinavir in rat serum. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

In situ ionic‐liquid‐dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction was introduced for extracting Sudan dyes from different liquid samples followed by detection using ultrafast liquid chromatography. The extraction and metathesis reaction can be performed simultaneously, the extraction time was shortened notably and higher enrichment factors can be obtained compared with traditional dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction. When the extraction was coupled with ultrafast liquid chromatography, a green, convenient, cheap, and efficient method for the determination of Sudan dyes was developed. The effects of various experimental factors, including type of extraction solvent, amount of 1‐hexyl‐3‐methylimidazolium chloride, ratio of ammonium hexafluorophosphate to 1‐hexyl‐3‐methylimidazolium chloride, pH value, salt concentration in sample solution, extraction time and centrifugation time were investigated and optimized for the extraction of four kinds of Sudan dyes. The limits of detection for Sudan I, II, III, and IV were 0.324, 0.299, 0.390, and 0.655 ng/mL, respectively. Recoveries obtained by analyzing the seven spiked samples were between 65.95 and 112.82%. The consumption of organic solvent (120 μL acetonitrile per sample) was very low, so it could be considered as a green analytical method. 相似文献
