The surface treatment effects of sapphire substrate on the ZnO thin films grown by magnetron sputtering were studied. The sapphire substrates properties have been investigated by means of atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X-ray diffraction rocking curves (XRCs). The results show that sapphire substrate surfaces have the best quality by CMP with subsequent chemical etching. The surface treatment effects of sapphire substrate on the ZnO thin films were examined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and photoluminescence (PL) measurements. Results show that the intensity of (0 0 2) diffraction peak of ZnO thin films on sapphire substrates treated by CMP with subsequent chemical etching was strongest, FWHM of (0 0 2) diffraction peak is the narrowest and the intensity of UV peak of PL spectrum is strongest, indicating surface treatment on sapphire substrate preparation may improve ZnO thin films crystal quality and photoluminescent property.  相似文献

In this paper, Ag nanoparticles were deposited on Ag@cicada wing array by using the cicada wings as templates to study its optical properties, including surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), polarization and surface enhanced fluorescence (SEF). The nanogaps between adjacent conical protrusion can be well dominated by adjusting the sputtering time and the optimal substrate AgNPs@Ag@cicada wing arrays have a noteworthy enhancement of SERS signal. Characterization of the prepared optimal substrate certified that it possesses the excellent SERS performances. Basically consistent SERS signal strength at the different polarization angles of the optimal substrate indicates that its polarization-independence. The SEF spectra shows that the optimal substrate has a slightly lower and unstable enhancement at this initial stage of repeated examination due to the weak adhesion between the Ag@cicada wing arrays and Ag nanoparticles. The outstanding optical properties indicate that it has enormous potential in the label-free detection and biological analytes determination.  相似文献

The magnetron sputtering of Ag nanoparticles onto ZnO nanorod arrays is studied. The lateral faces of the nanorods are coated with nanoparticles at a much lower density as compared to the flat faces at comparable sputtering times. The silver density is high on the edges of the lateral faces of the nanorods. The plasmon absorption in the synthesized arrays of nanorods coated with individual Ag nanoparticles is maximal at 450?C500 nm. The appearance of local plasmon excitations increases the intensity of the multiphonon processes with the participation of ZnO polar modes in Raman spectra. The cross section of resonance Raman scattering for A 1(LO) phonon overtones increases with the equivalent Ag film thickness.  相似文献

A ZnO guiding layer with nanorod arrays grown on a 90°-rotated ST-cut (42°45) quartz substrate was used to fabricate a Love wave fluid sensor. ZnO nanorod arrays synthesized on the guiding layer enhance the sensitivity of the flow rate. ZnO thin films were deposited by radio frequency magnetron sputtering and ZnO nanorod arrays were then synthesized on the thin films via the hydrothermal method. The crystalline structure and surface morphology of ZnO thin films and nanorod arrays were examined by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The effects of the thickness of ZnO thin film and the surface morphology of ZnO nanorod arrays on the sensitivity of flow rate were investigated. A linear response between flow rate and the return loss of the sensor with one-port resonator type can be obtained by adjusting the thickness of ZnO thin film and the length of nanorod arrays.  相似文献

采用两步法,即先用磁控溅射在Si(100)表面生长一层ZnO籽晶层、再利用液相法制备空间取向高度一致的ZnO纳米棒阵列.用扫描电子显微镜、X射线衍射、高分辨透射电子显微镜和选区电子衍射对样品形貌和结构特征进行了表征.结果表明,ZnO纳米棒具有垂直于衬底沿c轴择优生长和空间取向高度一致的特性和比较大的长径比,X射线衍射的(XRD)(0002)峰半高宽只有0.06°,选区电子衍射也显示了优异的单晶特性.光致发光谱表明ZnO纳米棒具有非常强的紫外本征发光和非常弱的杂质或缺陷发光特性. 关键词: ZnO纳米棒阵列 ZnO籽晶层 两步法 液相生长  相似文献

用一种低成本的方法制备出了树形结构Si/ZnO纳米线阵列。首先在室温条件下用金属辅助化学腐蚀法在Si(100)衬底上制备了Si纳米线阵列,Si纳米线的直径尺寸及分布都很均匀,通过改变腐蚀时间,能够得到高度不同的Si纳米线阵列。利用磁控溅射在Si纳米线表面制备一层ZnO薄膜,然后利用水热法在Si纳米线阵列上生长了ZnO纳米线。通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、能谱分析仪(EDS)和光致发光(PL)测试对样品进行了表征。通过这种方法制备的Si/ZnO复合结构在太阳能电池、光催化等领域有潜在应用价值。  相似文献

磁控溅射制备ZnO薄膜的结构及发光特性研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
采用射频反应磁控溅射法在玻璃衬底上制备出具有c轴高择优取向的ZnO薄膜,利用X射线衍射、扫描探针显微镜及荧光分光光度法研究了生长温度对ZnO薄膜微观结构及光致发光特性的影响。结果表明,合适的衬底温度有利于提高ZnO薄膜的结晶质量;在室温下测量样品的光致发光谱(PL),观察到波长位于400 nm左右的紫光、446 nm左右的蓝色发光峰及502 nm左右微弱的绿光峰,随衬底温度升高,样品的PL谱中紫光及蓝光强度逐渐增大,同时,绿光峰的强度也表现出一定程度的增强。经分析得出紫光应是激子发光所致,而锌填隙则是引起蓝光发射的主要原因,502 nm左右的绿光峰应该是氧的深能级缺陷造成的。此外,还测量了样品的吸收谱,并结合样品吸收谱的拟合结果对光致发光机理的分析作了进一步的验证。  相似文献

Pure and Cu-doped ZnO (ZnO:Cu) thin films were deposited on glass substrates using radio frequency (RF) reactive magnetron sputtering. The effect of substrate temperature on the crystallization behavior and optical properties of the ZnO:Cu films have been studied. The crystal structures, surface morphology and optical properties of the films were systematically investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and a fluorescence spectrophotometer, respectively. The results indicated that ZnO films showed a stronger preferred orientation toward the c-axis and a more uniform grain size after Cu-doping. As for ZnO:Cu films, the full width at half maxima (FWHM) of (0 0 2) diffraction peaks decreased first and then increased, reaching a minimum of about 0.42° at 350 °C and the compressive stress of ZnO:Cu decreased gradually with the increase of substrate temperature. The photoluminescence (PL) spectra measured at room temperature revealed two blue and two green emissions. Intense blue-green luminescence was obtained from the sample deposited at higher substrate temperature. Finally, we discussed the influence of annealing temperature on the structural and optical properties of ZnO:Cu films. The quality of ZnO:Cu film was markedly improved and the intensity of blue peak (∼485 nm) and green peak (∼527 nm) increased noticeably after annealing. Nanosphere lithography (NSL) is a successful technique for fabricating highly ordered arrays of ZnO nanowires typically on sapphire and GaN substrates. In this work, we investigate the use of thin ZnO films deposited on Si by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) as the substrate. This has a number of advantages over the alternatives above, including cost and potential scalability of production and it removes any issue of inadvertent n-type doping of nanowires by diffusion from the substrate. We demonstrate ordered arrays of ZnO nanowires, on ZnO-coated substrates by PLD, using a conventional NSL technique with gold as the catalyst. The nanowires were produced by vapor phase transport (VPT) growth in a tube furnace system and grew only on the areas pre-patterned by Au. We have also investigated the growth of ZnO nanowires using ZnO catalyst points deposited by PLD through an NSL mask on a bare silicon substrate.  相似文献

为了研究不同直径PS微球(表面溅射Ag膜)基底的表面增强拉曼散射(SERS)效应,制造了一个新的表面增强拉曼散射(SERS)基底。通过在n型(100)单晶硅片上采用旋涂的方法,得到不同直径的呈六角形有序排列的单层PS微球阵列,然后在PS微球阵列表面磁控溅射一层约30 nm的Ag膜。利用拉曼光谱仪以罗丹明R6G为探针进行了SERS光谱测定,分析比较了不同直径PS微球阵列的表面增强拉曼散射效应,结果表明,溅射有Ag膜的PS微球基底在不同直径下均有不同程度的SERS效应。随着微球直径的增加,PS微球阵列的起伏程度不断加强(粗糙度不断增加),SERS信号逐渐增强,当球直径达到600 nm时,峰的增强信号达到最大,进而获得了一个最优化的SERS基底。同时发现在基底上获得了高信噪比的R6G的SERS光谱, 与苯环相关的一系列CC双键伸缩振动特征谱以及与苯环相关的面内、面外变形振动特征谱均获得了明显增强。这种单一的大区域的拉曼散射基底,呈现出高低相间起伏分布的微观形貌,不同PS微球之间的空隙和深度有很明显的不同,能够显著改善表面Ag膜颗粒的大小和分布,进而提高了PS微球基底的SERS活性。该基底所具有的特殊阵列结构使其在利用SERS探究化学和生物等领域的单分子结构有很大的应用潜力。  相似文献

ZnO:Al thin films with c-axis preferred orientation were deposited on glass and Si substrates using RF magnetron sputtering technique. The effect of substrate on the structural and optical properties of ZnO:Al films were investigated. The results showed a strong blue peak from glass-substrate ZnO:Al film whose intensity became weak when deposited on Si substrate. However, the full width at half maxima (FWHM) of the Si-substrate ZnO:Al (0 0 2) peaks decreased evidently and the grain size increased. Finally, we discussed the influence of annealing temperature on the structural and optical properties of Si-substrate ZnO:Al films. After annealing, the crystal quality of Si-substrate ZnO:Al thin films was markedly improved and the intensity of blue peak (∼445 nm) increased noticeably. This observation may indicate that the visible emission properties of the ZnO:Al films are dependent more on the film crystallinity than on the film stoichiometry.  相似文献

用射频反应磁控溅射法在不同溅射压强和氩氧比下制备了ZnO薄膜,通过X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)和光致发光(PL)谱等研究了溅射压强和氩氧比对ZnO薄膜结构和光学性质的影响。测量结果显示,所制备的ZnO薄膜为六角纤锌矿结构,具有沿c轴的择优取向;溅射压强P=0.6Pa,氩氧比Ar/O2=20/5.5sccm时,(002)晶面衍射峰强度和平均晶粒尺寸较大,(O02)XRD峰半峰全宽(FWHM)最小,光致发光紫外峰强度最强。  相似文献

氮化硅薄膜因其耐腐蚀性、高温稳定性和良好的机械强度等优点,被广泛用作透射电子显微镜(TEM)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、原子力显微镜(AFM)、X射线光电子能谱仪(XPS)、能量色散X射线光谱仪(EDX)等的表征实验承载体。特别是,SiN可作为SEM观察时的低扰背景。然而SiN薄膜较差的荧光性制约了其进一步在荧光器件中的广泛应用。为了进一步提高SiN薄膜窗口的荧光效率,实验研究中采用了射频磁控溅射技术在SiNx薄膜衬底上成功制备出系列ZnO薄膜,并分别进行了氮气氛非原位退火和原位退火处理。然后利用原子力显微镜(AFM)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、拉曼光谱仪(Raman)对薄膜的微结构和光致发光(PL)性能进行了研究,并系统研究了所制备薄膜的发光情况。实验研究结果表明,镀膜后荧光强度普遍提升, 退火促进晶粒进一步熟化生长、结晶性能大幅提升、晶界减少,且退火方式对射频磁控溅射法制备的ZnO/SiN复合薄膜的微结构和发光性能有显著影响。与SiNx薄膜相比,未退火的ZnO/SiNx薄膜和N2气氛非原位退火的ZnO/SiNx薄膜在380 nm附近的带边本征发射强度分别提高了7.7倍和34.0倍以上。与非原位退火处理的薄膜相比,原位退火处理的ZnO/SiNx薄膜具有更多的氧空位缺陷,因此表现出更强的可见光波段PL强度,在425~600 nm的可见光波段表现出更高的光致发光能力。这些结果有助于优化氮化硅基ZnO荧光薄膜的制备参数。  相似文献

In this work, a nanocone ZnO thin film was prepared by electron beam evaporation on a Si (1 0 0) substrate. The structural properties of the film were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy and laser Raman scattering, respectively. The aging effect of the nanocone ZnO thin film was studied by photoluminescence spectra. The structural analyses show that the prepared ZnO thin film has a hexagonal wurtzite structure and is preferentially oriented along the c-axis perpendicular to the substrate surface. The photoluminescence spectra show that with the increase of aging time, the green emission of the nanocone ZnO thin film gradually decreases while the ultraviolet emission somewhat increases. The reason for this phenomenon is likely that the green-emission-related oxygen vacancies in the film are gradually filled up. The Raman scattering analyses also suggest that the intensity of the Raman peak related to oxygen vacancies in the nanocone ZnO thin film declines after the film is aged in air for a year. Therefore, the authors think the green emission is mainly connected with oxygen vacancy defects.  相似文献

采用化学气相沉积(CVD)方法制备了具有良好结晶质量和(002)择优取向的ZnO微米棒。在此基础上,选取单根ZnO微米棒,将其部分搁置于单层石墨烯表面。光致发光(PL)谱结果表明,石墨烯不仅增强了ZnO微米棒的紫外发光强度,同时也对光场在ZnO微米棒中的分布有很大的限域作用。分析认为这是由于石墨烯的表面等离子效应引起了ZnO微米棒与石墨烯之间的光-物质相互作用导致的。在拉曼(Raman)光谱中,石墨烯对ZnO微米棒的E2(L)声子振动模和E2(H)声子振动模的强度具有明显的减弱效应,这进一步证明二者之间存在光子的传输和电荷的转移,从而导致其晶格振动受到抑制。  相似文献

ZnO nanowire arrays have been successfully synthesized on transparent quartz glass substrate by chemical vapor deposition technique. Our work demonstrates the critical role of the growth temperature and the buffer layer on the effective control of the morphology of ZnO nanowires. A proper growth temperature and the thicker buffer layer could promise the good alignment and high density of the nanowires. The room-temperature photoluminescence spectrum shows that the buffer layer has also great effects on optical properties of ZnO nanowire arrays. The integrated intensity ratio [IUV/IVisible band] of the ZnO UV emission peak to visible band emission decreases with the increase of the thickness of the buffer layers. The obtained nanowire arrays have transmittance of above 50% in the visible region.  相似文献

Zinc oxide thin films have been deposited onto porous silicon (PSi) substrates at high growth rates by radio frequency (RF) sputtering using a ZnO target. The advantages of the porous Si template are economical and it provides a rigid structural material. Porous silicon is applied as an intermediate layer between silicon and ZnO films and it contributed a large area composed of an array of voids. The nanoporous silicon samples were adapted by photo electrochemical (PEC) etching technique on n-type silicon wafer with (111) and (100) orientation. Micro-Raman and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy are powerful and non-destructive optical tools to study vibrational and optical properties of ZnO nanostructures. Both the Raman and PL measurements were also operated at room temperature. Micro-Raman results showed that the A1(LO) of hexagonal ZnO/Si(111) and ZnO/Si(100) have been observed at around 522 and 530 cm–1, re- spectively. PL spectra peaks are distinctly apparent at 366 and 368 cm–1 for ZnO film grown on porous Si(111) and Si(100) substrates, respectively. The peak luminescence energy in nanocrystalline ZnO on porous silicon is blue-shifted with regard to that in bulk ZnO (381 nm). The Raman and PL spectra pointed to oxygen vacancies or Zn interstitials which are responsible for the green emission in the nanocrystalline ZnO.  相似文献

以N2为掺杂源,通过改变O2∶N2比,利用射频磁控溅射法在玻璃衬底上制备了具有[002]择优取向的N掺杂ZnO薄膜,研究了ZnO薄膜的光致发光谱随着N掺入量的不同而变化的规律.结果表明,薄膜主衍射峰为402 nm处的发光峰;由于N掺杂量的不同,有的薄膜在445 nm和524 nm处也有发光发存在,但随着薄膜N含量的不同,其发光峰强度明显不同,其峰位也发生了相应的红移或者蓝移.当O2∶N2为10∶ 15时,制备的薄膜N掺杂量最大,光学性能最好,此工艺为研究ZnO薄膜的缺陷类型及导电类型提供了重要的研究参考.  相似文献

研究了在湿法腐蚀Ga N衬底上生长的Zn O纳米棒阵列的微结构和光学性能。相比于未经腐蚀及腐蚀5 min、10 min的Ga N上生长的Zn O纳米棒阵列,在腐蚀8 min的Ga N上生长的Zn O纳米棒阵列最细密,光学性能最好,其相应PL光谱峰强积分比IUV/Ivis最大(70.92)。因为此时Ga N衬底中的位错基本全部在表面露头,Zn O容易附着而形成更多的形核种子,并且衬底的位错在表面的边缘有助于诱导Zn O晶体的外延生长,所以Zn O棒更加细密,晶体质量更高,从而光学性能更好。  相似文献
