This paper is concerned with the Cauchy problem for the Hartree equation on Rn,nN with the nonlinearity of type (|?|?γ?|u|2)u,0<γ<n. It is shown that a global solution with some twisted persistence property exists for data in the space LpL2,1p2 under some suitable conditions on γ and spatial dimension nN. It is also shown that the global solution u has a smoothing effect in terms of spatial integrability in the sense that the map t?u(t) is well defined and continuous from R?{0} to Lp, which is well known for the solution to the corresponding linear Schrödinger equation. Local and global well-posedness results for hat Lp-spaces are also presented. The local and global results are proved by combining arguments by Carles–Mouzaoui with a new functional framework introduced by Zhou. Furthermore, it is also shown that the global results can be improved via generalized dispersive estimates in the case of one space dimension.  相似文献

We consider the large-time behavior of the solution to the initial value problem for the Nernst-Planck type drift-diffusion equation in whole spaces. In the Lp-framework, the global existence and the decay of the solution were shown. Moreover, the second-order asymptotic expansion of the solution as t→∞ was derived. We also deduce the higher-order asymptotic expansion of the solution. Especially, we discuss the contrast between the odd-dimensional case and the even-dimensional case.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the analysis of the large-time behavior of solutions of one-dimensional Fisher-KPP reaction-diffusion equations. The initial conditions are assumed to be globally front-like and to decay at infinity towards the unstable steady state more slowly than any exponentially decaying function. We prove that all level sets of the solutions move infinitely fast as time goes to infinity. The locations of the level sets are expressed in terms of the decay of the initial condition. Furthermore, the spatial profiles of the solutions become asymptotically uniformly flat at large time. This paper contains the first systematic study of the large-time behavior of solutions of KPP equations with slowly decaying initial conditions. Our results are in sharp contrast with the well-studied case of exponentially bounded initial conditions.  相似文献

The Landau equation describes the binary collisional effects (through long range coulombian interaction) in a plasma. In this paper, we prove that the known classical solutions to the Landau equation near Maxwellian in the whole space have a regularizing effect in all (time, space and velocity) variables, that is, become immediately smooth with respect to all variables.  相似文献

In this work we prove that the initial value problem of the Benney-Lin equation ut + uxxx + β(uxx + u xxxx) + ηuxxxxx + uux = 0 (x ∈ R, t ≥0 0), where β 〉 0 and η∈R, is locally well-posed in Sobolev spaces HS(R) for s ≥ -7/5. The method we use to prove this result is the bilinear estimate method initiated by Bourgain.  相似文献

We establish a priori upper bounds for solutions to the spatially inhomogeneous Landau equation in the case of moderately soft potentials, with arbitrary initial data, under the assumption that mass, energy and entropy densities stay under control. Our pointwise estimates decay polynomially in the velocity variable. We also show that if the initial data satisfies a Gaussian upper bound, this bound is propagated for all positive times.  相似文献

We consider the large time asymptotic behavior of the global solutions to the initial value problem for the nonlinear damped wave equation with slowly decaying initial data. When the initial data decay fast enough, it is known that the solution to this problem converges to the self-similar solution to the Burgers equation called a nonlinear diffusion wave, and its optimal asymptotic rate is obtained. In this paper, we focus on the case that the initial data decay more slowly than previous works and derive the corresponding asymptotic profile. Moreover, we investigate how the change of the decay rate of the initial values affect its asymptotic rate.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove that the cubic fourth-order wave equation is globally well-posed in Hs(Rn) for by following the Bourgain's Fourier truncation idea in Bourgain (1998) [2]. To avoid some troubles, we technically make use of the Strichartz estimate for low frequency part and high frequency part, respectively. As far as we know, this is the first result on the low regularity behavior of the fourth-order wave equation.  相似文献

(9) (1983) 73–97.] Brézis and Friedman prove that certain nonlinear parabolic equations, with the δ-measure as initial data, have no solution. However in [J.F. Colombeau, M. Langlais, Generalized solutions of nonlinear parabolic equations with distributions as initial conditions, J. Math. Anal. Appl (1990) 186–196.] Colombeau and Langlais prove that these equations have a unique solution even if the δ-measure is substituted by any Colombeau generalized function of compact support. Here we generalize Colombeau and Langlais’ result proving that we may take any generalized function as the initial data. Our approach relies on recent algebraic and topological developments of the theory of Colombeau generalized functions and results from [J. Aragona, Colombeau generalized functions on quasi-regular sets, Publ. Math. Debrecen (2006) 371–399.].  相似文献

We propose an unconditionally convergent linear finite element scheme for the stochastic Landau–Lifshitz–Gilbert (LLG) equation with multi-dimensional noise. By using the Doss–Sussmann technique, we first transform the stochastic LLG equation into a partial differential equation that depends on the solution of the auxiliary equation for the diffusion part. The resulting equation has solutions absolutely continuous with respect to time. We then propose a convergent θ-linear scheme for the numerical solution of the reformulated equation. As a consequence, we are able to show the existence of weak martingale solutions to the stochastic LLG equation.  相似文献

In this paper, we will establish the bounded solutions, periodic solutions, quasiperiodic solutions, almost periodic solutions, and almost automorphic solutions for linearly coupled complex cubic‐quintic Ginzburg‐Landau equations, under suitable conditions. The main difficulty is the nonlinear terms in the equations that are not Lipschitz‐continuity, traditional methods cannot deal with the difficulty in our problem. We overcome this difficulty by the Galerkin approach, energy estimate method, and refined inequality technique.  相似文献
