The central result of this paper is an explicit computation of the Hochschild and cyclic homologies of a natural smooth subalgebra of stable continuous trace algebras having smooth manifolds X as their spectrum. More precisely, the Hochschild homology is identified with the space of differential forms on X, and the periodic cyclic homology with the twisted de Rham cohomology of X, thereby generalising some fundamental results of Connes and Hochschild-Kostant-Rosenberg. The Connes-Chern character is also identified here with the twisted Chern character.  相似文献

The third author recently proved that the Shoikhet–Dolgushev L-morphism from Hochschild chains of the algebra of smooth functions on a manifold to differential forms extends to cyclic chains. Localization at a solution of the Maurer–Cartan equation gives an isomorphism, which we call character map, from the periodic cyclic homology of a formal associative deformation of the algebra of functions to de Rham cohomology. We prove that the character map is compatible with the Gauss–Manin connection, extending a result of Calaque and Rossi on the compatibility with the cap product. As a consequence, the image of the periodic cyclic cycle 1 is independent of the deformation parameter and we compute it to be the A-roof genus of the manifold. Our results also imply the Tamarkin–Tsygan index theorem.  相似文献

Ardizzoni, Brzeziński 和Menini 在研究代数的形式光滑性以及形式光滑双模时利用相对右导出函子引入了模- 相对Hochschild 上同调的概念. 本文利用相对左导出函子相应地给出模- 相对Hochschild 同调的定义, 讨论了在Morita 型稳定等价下, 代数的Hochschild (上) 同调、相对Hochschild (上) 同调以及模- 相对Hochschild (上) 同调三者之间的关系, 证明了模- 相对Hochschild 同调与上同调是Morita 型稳定等价下的不变量. 作为该结果的应用, 我们得到形式光滑双模与可分双模的一种构造方法, 并给出了通常意义下的Hochschild (上) 同调是Morita 型稳定等价不变量的一种新的证明.  相似文献

We introduce Hochschild (co-)homology of morphisms of schemes or analytic spaces and study its fundamental properties. In analogy with the cotangent complex we introduce the so-called (derived) Hochschild complex of a morphism; the Hochschild cohomology and homology groups are then the Ext and Tor groups of that complex. We prove that these objects are well defined, extend the known cases, and have the expected functorial and homological properties such as graded commutativity of Hochschild cohomology and existence of the characteristic homomorphism from Hochschild cohomology to the (graded) centre of the derived category.  相似文献

We compute the Hochschild, cyclic, and periodic cyclic homology groups of algebras of families of Laurent complete symbols on manifolds with corners. We show in particular that the spectral sequence associated with Hochschild homology degenerates at E2 and converges to Hochschild homology. As a byproduct, we identify the space of residue traces on fibrations by manifolds with corners. In the process, we prove some structural results about algebras of complete symbols on manifolds with corners.  相似文献

We study three different (co)homology theories for a family of pullbacks of algebras that we call oriented. We obtain a Mayer Vietoris long exact sequence of Hochschild and cyclic homology and cohomology groups for these algebras. We give examples showing that our sequence for Hochschild cohomology groups is different from the known ones. In case the algebras are given by quiver and relations, and that the simplicial homology and cohomology groups are defined, we obtain a similar result in a slightly wider context. Finally, we also study the fundamental groups of the bound quivers involved in the pullbacks.  相似文献

We identify the Hochschild, cyclic, and periodic cyclic homology groups of dynamical systems algebras arising from the action of Q on the spaces of finite and infinite adéles of Q. In the process, we establish several results on the homology of the space of functions on a locally compact, totally disconnected space and its crossed products. In this paper we give a construction of phantom categories, i.e. admissible triangulated subcategories in bounded derived categories of coherent sheaves on smooth projective varieties that have trivial Hochschild homology and trivial Grothendieck group. We also prove that these phantom categories are phantoms in a stronger sense, namely, they has trivial K-motives and, hence, all their higher K-groups are trivial too.  相似文献

In this paper we use Quillen-Barr-Beck's theory of (co-) homology of algebras in order to define (co-) homology for the category RLie of restricted Lie algebras over a field k of characteristic p≠0. In contrast with the cases of groups, associative algebras and Lie algebras we do not obtain Hochschild (co-) homology shifted by 1.Precisely, we determine for LRLie the category of Beck L-modules and the group of Beck derivations of g∈RLie/L to a Beck L-module M. Moreover, we prove a classification theorem which gives a one-to-one correspondence between the one cohomology and the set of equivalent classes of p-extensions. Finally, a universal coefficient theorem is proved, relating the homology to the Hochschild homology via a short exact sequence. We compute the space of Poisson traces on a classical W \mathcal{W} -algebra, i.e., linear functionals invariant under Hamiltonian derivations. Modulo any central character, this space identifies with the top cohomology of the corresponding Springer fiber. As a consequence, we deduce that the zeroth Hochschild homology of the corresponding quantum W \mathcal{W} -algebra modulo a central character identifies with the top cohomology of the corresponding Springer fiber. This implies that the number of irreducible finite-dimensional representations of this algebra is bounded by the dimension of this top cohomology, which was established earlier by C. Dodd using reduction to positive characteristic. Finally, we prove that the entire cohomology of the Springer fiber identifies with the so-called Poisson-de Rham homology (defined previously by the authors) of the centrally reduced classical W \mathcal{W} -algebra.  相似文献

We study the Hochschild homology of algebras related via split pairs, and apply this to fiber products, trivial extensions, monomial algebras, graded-commutative algebras and quantum complete intersections.
