Let A be a local ring with maximal ideal . For an arbitrary ideal I of A, we define the generalized Hilbert coefficients . When the ideal I is -primary, jk(I)=(0,…,0,(−1)kek(I)), where ek(I) is the classical kth Hilbert coefficient of I. Using these coefficients we give a numerical characterization of the homogeneous components of the S2-ification of S=A[It,t−1], extending previous results obtained by the author to not necessarily -primary ideals.  相似文献

Goto numbers for certain parameter ideals Q in a Noetherian local ring (A,m) with Gorenstein associated graded ring are explored. As an application, the structure of quasi-socle ideals I=Q:mq (q≥1) in a one-dimensional local complete intersection and the question of when the graded rings are Cohen-Macaulay are studied in the case where the ideals I are integral over Q.  相似文献

Let (A,mA,k) be a local noetherian ring and I an mA-primary ideal. The asymptotic Samuel function (with respect to I) : A?R∪{+} is defined by , xA. Similarly, one defines, for another ideal J, as the minimum of as x varies in J. Of special interest is the rational number . We study the behavior of the asymptotic Samuel function (with respect to I) when passing to hyperplane sections of A as one does for the theory of mixed multiplicities.  相似文献

Let R=?nN0Rn be a Noetherian homogeneous ring with local base ring (R0,m0) and irrelevant ideal R+, let M be a finitely generated graded R-module. In this paper we show that is Artinian and is Artinian for each i in the case where R+ is principal. Moreover, for the case where , we prove that, for each iN0, is Artinian if and only if is Artinian. We also prove that is Artinian, where and c is the cohomological dimension of M with respect to R+. Finally we present some examples which show that and need not be Artinian.  相似文献

We describe the additive structure of the graded ring of quasimodular forms over any discrete and cocompact group Γ⊂PSL(2,R). We show that this ring is never finitely generated. We calculate the exact number of new generators in each weight k. This number is constant for k sufficiently large and equals where I and are the ideals of modular forms and quasimodular forms, respectively, of positive weight. We show that is contained in some finitely generated ring of meromorphic quasimodular forms with i.e., the same order of growth as   相似文献

For any étale Lie groupoid G over a smooth manifold M, the groupoid convolution algebra of smooth functions with compact support on G has a natural coalgebra structure over the commutative algebra which makes it into a Hopf algebroid. Conversely, for any Hopf algebroid A over we construct the associated spectral étale Lie groupoid over M such that is naturally isomorphic to G. Both these constructions are functorial, and is fully faithful left adjoint to . We give explicit conditions under which a Hopf algebroid is isomorphic to the Hopf algebroid of an étale Lie groupoid G.  相似文献

In this paper the zero-divisor graph Γ(R) of a commutative reduced ring R is studied. We associate the ring properties of R, the graph properties of Γ(R) and the topological properties of . Cycles in Γ(R) are investigated and an algebraic and a topological characterization is given for the graph Γ(R) to be triangulated or hypertriangulated. We show that the clique number of Γ(R), the cellularity of and the Goldie dimension of R coincide. We prove that when R has the annihilator condition and ; Γ(R) is complemented if and only if is compact. In a semiprimitive Gelfand ring, it turns out that the dominating number of Γ(R) is between the density and the weight of . We show that Γ(R) is not triangulated and the set of centers of Γ(R) is a dominating set if and only if the set of isolated points of is dense in .  相似文献

If is the pure-injective hull of a valuation ring R, it is proved that is the pure-injective hull of M, for every finitely generated R-module M. Moreover , where (Ak)1≤kn is the annihilator sequence of M. The pure-injective hulls of uniserial or polyserial modules are also investigated. Any two pure-composition series of a countably generated polyserial module are isomorphic.  相似文献

Let be the absolute Galois group of Q and let A=C(G,C) be the Banach algebra of all continuous functions defined on G with values in C. Let be the conjugation automorphism of C and let B be the R-Banach subalgebra of A consisting of continuous functions f such that for all σG. Let ‖x‖=sup{|σ(x)|:σG} be the spectral norm on and let be the spectral completion of . Using a canonical isometry between and B we study the structure of the group of R-algebras automorphisms of and the structure of its subgroup of all automorphisms of which when restricted to give rise to elements of G. We introduce a topology on and prove that this last one is homeomorphic and group isomorphic to G.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce a new technique to study associated graded modules. Let (A,m) be a Noetherian local ring with . Our techniques give a necessary and sufficient condition for for all n?0. Other applications are also included; most notable is an upper bound regarding the Ratliff-Rush filtration.  相似文献

This paper explores the structure of quasi-socle ideals I=Q:m2 in a Gorenstein local ring A, where Q is a parameter ideal and m is the maximal ideal in A. The purpose is to answer the problems as to when Q is a reduction of I and when the associated graded ring is Cohen-Macaulay. Wild examples are explored.  相似文献

Using infinitesimals, we develop Malliavin calculus on spaces which result from the classical Wiener space by replacing with any abstract Wiener space .We start from a Brownian motion b on a Loeb probability space Ω with values in the Banach space is the standard part of a ∗finite-dimensional Brownian motion B. Then we define iterated Itô integrals as standard parts of internal iterated Itô integrals. The integrator of the internal integrals is B and the values of the integrands are multilinear forms on , where is a ∗finite-dimensional linear space over between the Hilbert space and its ∗-extension .In the first part we prove a chaos decomposition theorem for L2-functionals on Ω that are measurable with respect to the σ-algebra generated by b. This result yields a chaos decomposition of L2-functionals with respect to the Wiener measure on the standard space of -valued continuous functions on [0,1]. In the second part we define the Malliavin derivative and the Skorohod integral as standard parts of internal operators defined on ∗finite-dimensional spaces. In an application we use the transformation rule for finite-dimensional Euclidean spaces to study time anticipating and non-anticipating shifts of Brownian motion by Bochner integrals (Girsanov transformations).  相似文献

Fix an abstract Wiener space where is a separable Hilbert space densely embedded into a Banach space . A pathwise construction of the Itô integral as a continuous square integrable martingale is given, where the integrands are -valued processes and the integrator is a -valued Brownian motion. We use this approach to the vector integral to prove that each Malliavin differentiable functional ? defined on the space of continuous -valued functions on [0,1], endowed with the Wiener measure, can be decomposed into the sum of the expected value of ? and the Itô integral of the conditional expectation of the Malliavin derivative of ? with respect to the Brownian filtration. The Malliavin derivative of ? is an -valued stochastic process. In a second application, it is shown that the iterated Itô integral, defined as a process on , is a continuous square integrable martingale.  相似文献

Let be the anticipating smooth semimartingale and be its generalized local time. In this paper, we give some estimates about the quasi sure property of Xt and its quadratic variation process tX〉. We also study the fractional smoothness of and prove that the quadratic variation process of can be constructed as the quasi sure limit of the form , where is a sequence of subdivisions of [a,b], , i=0,1,…,n2.  相似文献

For a commutative noetherian ring R with residue field k stable cohomology modules have been defined for each nZ, but their meaning has remained elusive. It is proved that the k-rank of any characterizes important properties of R, such as being regular, complete intersection, or Gorenstein. These numerical characterizations are based on results concerning the structure of Z-graded k-algebra carried by stable cohomology. It is shown that in many cases it is determined by absolute cohomology through a canonical homomorphism of algebras . Some techniques developed in the paper are applicable to the study of stable cohomology functors over general associative rings.  相似文献
