The reaction γppπ0η has been studied with the CBELSA detector at the tagged photon beam of the Bonn electron stretcher facility. The reaction shows contributions from Δ+(1232)η , N(1535)+π0 and pa 0(980) as intermediate states. A partial-wave analysis suggests that the reaction proceeds via formation of six Δ -resonances, Δ(1600)P 33 , Δ(1920)P 33 , Δ(1700)D 33 , Δ(1940)D 33 , Δ(1905)F 35 , Δ(2360)D 33 , and two nucleon resonances N(1880)P 11 and N(2200)P 13 , for which pole positions and decay branching ratios are given.  相似文献

The calculation of the secondary nucleons polarization in thepppp0 andppnp+ reactions at 1000 MeV is effected in the framework of the one-pion exchange model. It is shown that polarization is due to the interference of the resonant amplitude with the non-resonant amplitudes of theN virtual scattering. First exclusive data for the $\ensuremath{pp \to nn\pi^+\pi^+}$ reaction have been obtained at CELSIUS with the WASA detector setup at a beam energy of Tp = 1.1 GeV. Total and differential cross-sections disagree with theoretical calculations, which predict the $ \Delta$ $ \Delta$ excitation to be the dominant process at this beam energy. Instead, the data require the excitation of one of the nucleons to a higher-lying $ \Delta$ state, preferably the $\ensuremath{\Delta(1600)P_{33}}$ , to be the leading process.  相似文献

Within an effective Lagrangian approach and resonance model, we study the γp→a_1(1260)~+n andγp→π~+π~+π~-n reactions via the π-exchange mechanism. For the γp→π~+π~+π~-n reaction, we perform a calculation of the differential and total cross-sections by considering the contributions of the a1(1260) intermediate resonance decaying into per and then into π~+π~+π~-. Besides,the non-resonance process is also considered. With a lower mass of a1(1260), the experimental data for the invariant π~+π~+π~-mass distributions can be fairly well reproduced. For theγp→a_1(1260)~+n reaction, with the model parameters, the total cross-section is of the order of 10 μb at the photon beam energy Eγ~2.5 GeV. It is expected that the model calculations in this work could be tested by future experiments.  相似文献

Asymmetries for scattering of longitudinally polarized electrons from deuterons with a vector polarization as well as asymmetries for scattering of unpolarized electrons from deuterons with a tensor polarization have been considered for inclusive elastic ed scattering. The sensitivity of all asymmetries considered to the electric form factor of the neutron and to the spin structure of the deuteron wave function has been investigated.  相似文献

We investigate the K^∗ production in the KN→Kπp reaction using the effective Lagrangian approach and the isobar model.To describe this reaction,we first take into account the contributions from the π,ρ and ω exchanges,as in previous studies.We find that although the experimental data can be generally described,there are some obvious discrepancies between the model and the experiments.To improve the model,we consider the contributions of the axial-vector meson and hyperon exchange.It is shown that a large contribution of the axial-vector meson exchange can significantly improve the results.This may indicate that the coupling of the axial-vector meson,e.g.a1(1260),is large in the KK^∗ channel.To verify our model,measurements of the angular distributions and spin density matrix elements of K^∗0 in the KLp→K^∗0p reaction would be helpful,and we make predictions for this reaction for a future comparison.  相似文献

Data are presented for the exclusive reaction pp → pp π+ π? at \(\sqrt s = 62GeV\) with two leading protons at large Feynman-x and a centrally produced π+;π? system. In this kinematical configuration one expects a substantial contribution from Double Pomeron Exchange, which is a potential source of glueballs. The experiment was performed at the CERN ISR using the Split Field Magnet spectrometer. In the mass range between 1,000 and 1,700 MeV/c2 the invariant mass distribution for the central π+;π? system exhibits a very significant signal for thef 0(1270) and no other obvious resonant states.  相似文献

The reaction d(e, e'p)n has been studied theoretically using three variants of the relativistic deuteron wave function (WF): (i) a light-front WF depending on two variables, k and x; (ii) a light-front WF depending only on a specific combination of k and x, having the meaning of a relative momentum; (iii) a WF depending on the nucleon-spectator momentum (the Gross WF). It is shown that, if the coincidence experiment is carried out under specific kinematical conditions, these three variants lead to qualitatively different predictions for the cross section. At a fixed value of the electron scattering angle θe, the conditions concerned are reduced to some relation between the final electron energy E′ and the proton emission angle θp.  相似文献

Available experimental data on the exclusive pdpnp reaction at 585 MeV show a narrow peak in the proton–neutron final-state interaction region. It was supposed previously, on the basis of a phenomenological analysis of the shape of this peak, that the final spin-singlet pn state provided about one third of the observed cross section. By comparing the absolute value of the measured cross section with that of pd elastic scattering using the Fäldt–Wilkin extrapolation theorem, it is shown here that the pdpnp data can be explained mainly by the spin-triplet final state with a singlet admixture of a few percent. The smallness of the singlet contribution is compatible with existing pNpNπ data and the one-pion exchange mechanism of the pdpnp reaction.  相似文献

Understanding of the production processes of the η meson will strongly rely on the precise determination of spin observables. So far these observables have been determined only for few excess energies and with low statistics (Winter et al. Eur. Phys. J. A18, 355 2003; Czyzykiewicz et al. Phys. Rev. Lett. 98, 122003 2007; Balestra et al. Phys. Rev. C69, 064003 2004). In the year 2010 WASA detector was used for the measurement of the \(\overrightarrow {p}p\rightarrow pp\eta \) reaction with the polarized proton beam of COSY (Moskal and Hodana J. Phys. Conf. Ser 295, 012080 2011). The measurement was done for the excess energy of Q = 15 MeV and Q = 72 MeV. In total about 106 events corresponding to the \(\overrightarrow {p}p\rightarrow pp\eta \) reaction have been collected.  相似文献

The effect of pion-nucleon and nucleon-nucleon rescatterings on polarization observables of the reaction γdppπ? are calculated in the delta-isobar region. Pion-nucleon and nucleon-nucleon rescatterings are considered on the basis of a diagrammatic approach. Lorentz invariant expressions are used for the operators of photoproduction and of pion scattering on a free nucleon. A unitarization procedure in the K-matrix approximation is used for resonance partial-wave amplitudes. It is shown that, in the delta-resonance region, rescattering has a sizable effect on polarization observables of the reaction γdppπ? at high momenta of final protons.  相似文献

Role of theΛ(1600)is studied in the K^-p→Λπ^0π^0 reaction by using the effective Lagrangian approach near the threshold.We perform a calculation for the total and differential cross sections by considering the contributions from theΛ(1600)andΛ(1670)intermediate resonances decaying intoπ^0∑^*0(1385)with∑^*0(1385)decaying intoπ^0Λ.Additionally,the non-resonance process from u-channel nucleon pole is also taken into account.With our model parameters,the current experimental data on the total cross sections of the K^-p→Λπ^0π^0 reaction can be well reproduced.It is shown that we really need the contribution from the A(1600)with spin-parity J^P=1/2^+,and that these measurements can be used to determine some of the properties of theΛ(1600)resonance.Furthermore,we also plot theπ0Λinvariant mass distributions which could be tested by the future experimental measurements.  相似文献

It is shown that, if isospin is not conserved in a 0 0 -and f 0-meson mixing, forward-backward asymmetry arises in the pnda 0 0 reaction. This effect increases near the reaction threshold. The asymmetry is estimated within the framework of a model in which the a 0 0 -f 0 mixing is due to the virtual π0?η transition and the difference in masses of the charged and neutral kaons in decay channels. The angular asymmetry near the threshold of the pnda 0 0 reaction was found to be large, of the order of 8–15%.  相似文献

We have analyzed data of the DISTO experiment on the exclusive ppK ?+? Λp process at T p ?=?2.85 GeV to search for a K ??? pp  (?≡?X) nuclear bound state to be formed in the ppK ?+??+?X reaction. The deviation spectra of the K ?+? missing-mass ΔM (K ?+?) and Λp invariant-mass Mp) with selection of large-angle proton emission revealed a structure with M X ?=?2265 ±2 MeV/c 2 and Γ X ?=?118 ±8 MeV.  相似文献

We present Monte Carlo simulations of annihilation reactionA+A0 in one dimensional lattice and in three different fractal substrata. In the model, the particles diffuse independently and when two of them attempt to occupy the same substratum site, they react with a probabilityp. For different kinds of initial distributions and in the short an intermediate time regimes, the results for 0<p1 show that the density ofA particles approximately behaves as (t)=(t=0)f(t/t 0), with the scaling functionf(x)1 forx1,f(x)x –y forx1. The crossover timet 0, behaves ast 0 0eff –1y where theeffective initial density 0eff depends on (t=0) and on the kind of initial distribution. For a given substratum of spreading dimensiond s, the exponenty(d s/2<y<1) depends only onp and its value increases asp decreases (y1 whenp0). In the very long time regime it is expected thatp(t)t –ds/2 independently ofp.  相似文献

The possibility to obtain information on n scattering at intermediate energies from the reaction dnp is analyzed. To this aim, the differential cross sectiond 3 /d ,d n dE n and the scattering asymmetry with linearly polarized photons are calculated at photon energies 100 to 400 MeV in the diagrammatic approach. The pole diagrams of the impulse approximation are evaluated with realistic n and p scattering amplitudes. One-loop diagrams withnp rescattering in the final state and with meson-exchange and isobar currents are taken into account as well. The main contribution to the differential cross sectiond 3 /d ,d n dE n in the kinematics of quasi-free n scattering arises from the neutron pole diagram. The correction due to other diagrams is typically –30% to –10% and decreases with increasing photon energy and momentum transfer. The sensitivity of the cross sections to the magnitude of the neutron electric polarizability and to the sign of the 02 decay constant is demonstrated.  相似文献

We investigate the reaction ppda 0 + at COSY and SIS energies together with accompanying background reactions and inclusive particle yields. The a 0 + is considered as a usual u quark model state with two decay channels a 0 +K + and a 0 +↦π+η. Calculated cross-sections for a 0 + production as well as for the corresponding non-resonant channels ppdK + and ppdπ+η are compared. Especially, in case of the final channel dπ+η, high statistics measurements are necessary to extract the a 0 + signal from the high non-resonant background.
