The exotic strange dibaryon particle (ΩΩ)0 with S = -6 can be produced in relativistic heavyioncollisions. The yields of this kind of exotic strange dibaryon particles can increase significantly soon as the formation ofQGP does exhibit after the collision. If there is no phase transition after the collision, the upper bound of the productionof this diomega can be estimated from the free hadronic gas model for nuclear matter. The relative yield ratio of diomegato deuteron is less than 0.000205, this means that if there is no QGP creation it is difficult to observe the production ofdiomega in relativistic heavy ion collisions.  相似文献

The intensity of light emitted from sputtered atoms and neutralized, scattered primary ions, excited during 4 keV Ne+ and Ar+ bombardment of oxidized magnesium has been measured as a function of the incidence angle. It was found that the photon yield of sputtered atoms increases with the angle of incidence much more rapidly than the theoretical sputtering yield and the photon yield of scattered projectiles. In order to explain the experimental results a numerical approach was made based on the following assumptions: (1) the sputtered atom can be excited when it crosses the surface after getting the momentum from the collision cascade; (2) at oblique incidence the sputtered excited atom can be directly emitted after a gentle collision between the incident ion and the surface atom; (3) the neutralized primary ion can only be excited in a violent collision with the surface atom.  相似文献

Based on the semigroup approach a new proof is presented of the existence of a unique solution of the non-stationary Boltzmann-equation for the electron component of a collision dominated plasma. All interactions can be included which yield bounded collision operators. The electric and magnetic fields were permitted to be inhomogeneous in space, and the investigations were performed for a bounded plasma. It has been shown that the Boltzmann-operator is the infinitesimal generator of a strongly continuous operator-semigroup which uniquely determines the nonnegative solution from a given initial function taking into account the given boundary conditions.  相似文献

Simple analytic expressions for estimation of product yields from reactions between light nuclei in the ultralow collision energy range are given. It is shown that, even in the case of total absorption targets and large spread of incident beam energies, these expressions can be factorized and naturally define the effective target thickness and the range of particle collision energies in the entrance channel that in turn defines the yield of reaction products.  相似文献

Syntheses of palladium (Pd) nanoclusters by sputtering gas-condensation technique are reported in this work. The Pd nanocluster size distribution and number of nanoclusters are found to depend on several factors which include the inert gas flow rate (f), sputtering discharge power, and growth region length. The discharge power and the length of the growth region are optimized to produce high nanocluster yield. It is found that low f produces small number of large nanoclusters which can be attributed to the formation of nanoclusters via the two-body collision mechanism. For high f, nanocluster size decreases and the number of nanocluster increases with f. This phenomenon can be assigned to nanocluster formation through three-body collision mechanism.  相似文献

 提出了一种由一对抛物面构成的超腔的技术方案,计算了超腔汇聚点处的总光子密度。利用康普顿散射理论对基于抛物面超腔的激光同步辐射及其光子产额进行了讨论和计算。结果表明:当超腔镜面的反射率等于99.99%时,在超腔碰撞点处的总光子数密度大约是初始激光束在碰撞点处光子数密度的5 000倍,对应康普顿垂直散射的光子产额大约是电子束与初始激光束在碰撞点处发生康普顿垂直散射时的5 000倍。  相似文献

采用一维紧束缚近似的SSH模型,计算了不同强度的电场下高聚物中一个负电极化子和一个三重态激子的碰撞过程.结果表明,碰撞后体系仍保持为极化子和三重态激子状态的几率最大,束缚在极化子缺陷中的电子有较大的几率被激发到导带形成自由电子,另外,三重态激子有一定的几率被极化子湮灭形成极化子激发态.极化子和激子的碰撞对极化子的稳定性有影响,还会使能隙中出现新的能级.由于极化子激发态可以通过辐射跃迁回到基态,因此碰撞会对高聚物的电致发光效率产生一定影响.研究结果对于理解高聚物中极化子的输运性质和高聚物的发光性质具有一定的 关键词: 极化子 激子 高聚物  相似文献

Ion yield measurements are presented |of 2–10 keV helium ions scattered from a copper (100) face. The scattering angle is 30°. The results are explained using a charge transfer model originally proposed by the authors. The model takes into account Auger neutralization as well as ionization and neutralization resulting from a violent collision. The present results are compared with previous] experiments in which a primary atom beam was used. Within the experimental errors the results |of both experiments can be explained using the same charge exchange parameters. A second result of the present investigation is that more convincing evidence is given for the occurrence of neutralization during the violent collision by a non-Auger process. It is probable that this process, as well as the ionization process, results from an interaction between the helium particle and the copper L shell electrons.  相似文献

高电荷态离子(Pbq ,Arq )由兰州近代物理研究所的ECR实验平台所产生,轰击非晶态SiO2表面.用微通道板测量溅射粒子产额的角分布.用公式拟合实验溅射角分布得到了较好的结果,并给出了初步的理论解释.由此得出了高电荷态离子与SiO2表面作用的微分溅射截面.实验结果表明高电荷态离子能够增加动能溅射;同时高电荷态离子入射能够引起势能溅射.在大角度入射时,溅射产额主要是由碰撞引起的;在小角入射时势能溅射所占比重会增大.  相似文献

The energy spectra and the angular distributions of noble gas ions, reflected from a metal surface, yield information about a number of important properties of this surface. A large number of investigations have been carried out in the past decades, not only to get insight into the interaction mechanism but also to develop methods for applying of the knowledge gained. To obtain information about the outermost surface layer, it appears necessary to use noble gas ions as primary particles, and to detect the scattered particles in the charged state only; the fraction of noble gas ions reaching the detector, after reflection from target atoms in the second layer, is very small because of the high probability of neutralization. However, this is only valid if the initial energy of the incoming ions is relatively low, namely ? 10 KeV. Under certain experimental circumstances it appears justifiable, down to a lower limit of about 20 eV, to conceive the interaction of these ions with the target atoms as single collisions. The relation between the initial energy and the post-collision energy is then very simple if the collision is an elastic one; it depends upon the scattering angle and upon the ratio of the two given masses only and not upon the interaction potential. The shift of the peaks in an energy spectrum is caused by inelastic collisions and is relatively small in the considered energy region. The causes of this shift will be discussed. As opposed to single collisions, the post-collision energies after a multiple collision depend largely upon the interaction potential. Attention will be paid to the search for these potentials. Utilization of the multiple collision phenomenon in the study of surface geometry is hampered by the vibrational motion of the surface atoms. As a result, the energy spectra are blurred and a shift of the so-called quasi-single and quasi-double peaks can occur. Under certain conditions a third peak emerges which can give additional information about the surface vibrations. The intensity of the scattered ions depends upon the cross section for scattering. Recently it has been shown that the relation between this cross section and the initial energy has an oscillating character for certain combinations of incident ions and target atoms. This phenomenon has very important consequences, e.g. in the use of single ion scattering as an analytical tool. To investigate surface structures it appears that single and multiple ion scattering, combined with LEED and AES, can provide valuable information.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct the bright-soliton bound states of an integrable (2 + 1)-dimensional multicomponent long wave-short wave resonance interaction (LSRI) system by using the exact bright-soliton solutions obtained in Ref. [24] and analyze their interesting collision dynamics. We show that the beating and breathing oscillations of the bound solitons can be controlled by tuning the polarization parameters. Also, we explore the interaction between the bound-soliton and a standard soliton. We also point out that the two bound-soliton state seems to be robust against collision with a standard soliton and remain to be bounded even after collision.  相似文献

We study the collision processes of spatially localized convection cells (pulses) in a binary fluid mixture by the extended complex Ginzburg-Landau equations. Both counter- and co-propagating pulse collisions are examined numerically. For counter-propagating pulse collision, we found a special class of unstable time-periodic solutions that play a critical role in determining the output after collision. The solution profile right after collision becomes close to such an unstable pattern and then evolves along one of the unstable manifolds before reaching a final destination. The origin of such a class of unstable solutions, called scattors, can be traced back to two-peak bound states which are stable in an appropriate parameter regime. They are destabilized, as the parameter is varied, and become scattors which play the role of separators of different dynamic regimes. Delayed feedback control is useful to detect them. Also, there is another regime where the origin of the scattors is different from that of the above case. For co-propagating pulse collision, it is revealed that the result of pulse collision depends on the phase difference between pulses. Moreover, we found that a coalescent pulse keeps a profile of two-peak bound state, which is not observed in the case of counter-propagating pulse collision. Complicated collision dynamics become transparent to some extent from the viewpoint of those unstable objects.  相似文献

A strong laser field and the Coulomb field of a nucleus can produce e(+) e(-) pairs. It is shown for the first time that there is a large probability that electrons and positrons created in this process collide after one or several oscillations of the laser field. These collisions can take place at high energy, resulting in several phenomena. The quasielastic collision e(+) e(-) --> e(+) e(-) allows acceleration of leptons in the laser field to higher energies. The inelastic collisions allow production of high-energy photons e(+) e(-) --> 2 gamma and muons e(+) e(-) --> micro(+) micro(-). The yield of high-energy photons and muons produced via this mechanism exceeds exponentially their production through conventional direct creation in laser and Coulomb fields. A relation of the phenomena considered with the antenna mechanism of multiphoton absorption in atoms is discussed.  相似文献

We predict that pairs of polar molecules can be weakly bound together in an ultracold environment, provided that a dc electric field is present. The field that links the molecules together also strongly influences the basic properties of the resulting dimer, such as its binding energy and predissociation lifetime. Because of their long-range character, these dimers will be useful in disentangling cold collision dynamics of polar molecules. As an example, we estimate the microwave photoassociation yield for OH-OH cold collisions.  相似文献

The derivation of the expression for the density matrix of scattered particles in terms of that of the incident ones, taking different impact parameters into account, shows that under well-specified and realistic conditions, the final density matrix is of the same kind as the initial one. Thus the final mixed state after a collision can be used directly as the initial mixed state in a subsequent collision. Contrary to a recent claim by Band and Park, there are no “fundamental difficulties with quantum mechanical collision theory.”  相似文献

The head-on collision between two ion-acoustic solitary waves in an unmagnetized electron-positron-ion plasma has been investigated. By using the extended Poincaré-Lighthill-Kuo perturbation method, we obtain the KdV equation and the analytical phase shift after the head-on collision of two solitary waves in this three-component plasma. The effects of the ratio of electron temperature to positron temperature, and the ratio of the number density of positrons to that of electrons on the phase shift are studied. It is found that these parameters can significantly influence the phase shifts of the solitons. Moreover, the compressive solitary wave can propagate in this system.  相似文献

The Galactic hard X-ray transient SWIFT J195509+261406 was first observed as gamma-ray burst GRB 070610. Within 3 days after the burst, more than forty optical flares had been observed. Here, we propose that this peculiar event should be associated with a white dwarf. The hard X-ray burst itself may be triggered by a collision between two planets orbiting the white dwarf. Some cracked fragments produced in the collision then fell onto the surface of the white dwarf over several days, giving birth to the observed optical flares via cyclotron radiation. Our model can satisfactorily explain the basic features of the observations.  相似文献

Trapped doubly deprotonated peptides are subjected to electron detachment when irradiated by a UV light. Electron photodetachment experiments as a function of the laser wavelength and laser fluence have been performed on two variants of angiotensin. The electron detachment yield was used to monitor the excited electronic spectrum of the trapped ions. Furthermore, the electron loss leads to the formation of radical ions.
