The parabolic equation with the control parameter is a class of parabolic inverse problems and is nonlinear. While determining the solution of the problems, we shall determinate some unknown control parameter. These problems play a very important role in many branches of science and engineering. The article is devoted to the following parabolic initial-boundary value problem with the control parameter: ∂u/∂t=∂2u/∂x2+p(t)u+?(x,t),0<x<1,0<t?Tu/t=2u/x2+p(t)u+?(x,t),0<x<1,0<t?T satisfying u(x,0)=f(x),0<x<1u(x,0)=f(x),0<x<1; u(0,t)=g0(t)u(0,t)=g0(t), u(1,t)=g1(t)u(1,t)=g1(t), u(x,t)=E(t),0?t?Tu(x,t)=E(t),0?t?T where ?(x,t),f(x),g0(t),g1(t)?(x,t),f(x),g0(t),g1(t) and E(t)E(t) are known functions, u(x,t)u(x,t) and p(t)p(t) are unknown functions. A linearized compact difference scheme is constructed. The discretization accuracy of the difference scheme is two order in time and four order in space. The solvability of the difference scheme is proved. Some numerical results and comparisons with the difference scheme given by Dehghan are presented. The numerical results show that the linearized difference scheme of this article improve the accuracy of the space and time direction and shorten computation time largely. The method in this article is also applicable to the two-dimensional inverse problem.  相似文献

This paper deals with due date assignment and just-in-time scheduling for single machine and parallel machine problems with equal-size jobs where the objective is to minimize the total weighted earliness–tardiness and due date cost. These two problems, but with a common due date to be calculated, were shown to be polynomially solvable in O(n4)O(n4) time. We first show that this complexity can be reduced to O(n3)O(n3) by modeling the single machine scheduling problem as an assignment problem without necessary due date enumeration. We next prove that the general case with identical parallel machines and a given set of assignable due dates where the cardinality of this set is bounded by a constant number is still polynomially solvable.  相似文献

Let Clt(A) denote the t-class group of an integral domain A. P. Samuel has established that if A is a Krull domain then the mapping Clt(A)Clt(A?X?), is injective and if A is a regular UFD, then Clt(A)Clt(A?X?), is bijective. Later, L. Claborn extended this result in case A is a regular Noetherian domain. In the first part of this paper we prove that the mapping Clt(A)Clt(A?X?); [I]?[(I.A?X?)t] is an injective homomorphism and in case of an integral domain A such that each υ-invertible υ-ideal of A has υ-finite type, we give an equivalent condition for Clt(A)Clt(A?X?), to be bijective, thus generalizing the result of Claborn. In the second part of this paper, we define the S-class group of an integral domain A: let S be a (not necessarily saturated) multiplicative subset of an integral domain A. Following [11], a nonzero fractional ideal I of A is S-principal if there exist an sS and aI such that sI?aA?I. The S-class group of A, S-Clt(A) is the group of fractional t-invertible t-ideals of A under t-multiplication modulo its subgroup of S-principal t-invertible t-ideals of A. We generalize some known results developed for the classic contexts of Krull and PυMD domain and we investigate the case of isomorphism S-Clt(A)?S-Clt(A?X?).  相似文献

Let M*(C) denote the C1-algebra defined as the direct sum of all matrix algebras {Mn(C):n?1}. It is known that M*(C) has a non-cocommutative comultiplication Δφ. From a certain set of transformations of integers, we construct a universal R-matrix R of the C1-bialgebra (M*(C),Δφ) such that the quasi-cocommutative C1-bialgebra (M*(C),Δφ,R) is triangular. Furthermore, it is shown that certain linear Diophantine equations are corresponded to the Yang–Baxter equations of R.  相似文献

For a Tychonoff space X  , we denote by Cp(X)Cp(X) and Cc(X)Cc(X) the space of continuous real-valued functions on X equipped with the topology of pointwise convergence and the compact-open topology respectively. Providing a characterization of the Lindelöf Σ-property of X   in terms of Cp(X)Cp(X), we extend Okunev?s results by showing that if there exists a surjection from Cp(X)Cp(X) onto Cp(Y)Cp(Y) (resp. from Lp(X)Lp(X) onto Lp(Y)Lp(Y)) that takes bounded sequences to bounded sequences, then υY is a Lindelöf Σ-space (respectively K-analytic) if υX has this property. In the second part, applying Christensen?s theorem, we extend Pelant?s result by proving that if X is a separable completely metrizable space and Y   is first countable, and there is a quotient linear map from Cc(X)Cc(X) onto Cc(Y)Cc(Y), then Y   is a separable completely metrizable space. We study also a non-separable case, and consider a different approach to the result of J. Baars, J. de Groot, J. Pelant and V. Valov, which is based on the combination of two facts: Complete metrizability is preserved by ?p?p-equivalence in the class of metric spaces (J. Baars, J. de Groot, J. Pelant). If X   is completely metrizable and ?p?p-equivalent to a first-countable Y, then Y is metrizable (V. Valov). Some additional results are presented.  相似文献

For any finite-dimensional Hopf algebra H   we construct a group homomorphism BiGal(H)→BrPic(Rep(H))BiGal(H)BrPic(Rep(H)), from the group of equivalence classes of H  -biGalois objects to the group of equivalence classes of invertible exact Rep(H)Rep(H)-bimodule categories. We discuss the injectivity of this map. We exemplify in the case H=TqH=Tq is a Taft Hopf algebra and for this we classify all exact indecomposable Rep(Tq)Rep(Tq)-bimodule categories.  相似文献

This paper provides results on the correct simulation, when using continuous Runge–Kutta methods, of certain stability properties of nonlinear neutral delay-differential equations (NDDEs) y(t)=f(t,y(t),y(t-τ(t)),y(t-τ(t)))(t?t0)y(t)=f(t,y(t),y(t-τ(t)),y(t-τ(t)))(t?t0). In particular, it is shown that certain continuous Runge–Kutta methods based upon the backward Euler method or the 2-stage Lobatto IIIC method, combined with linear interpolation, are GRNGRN-stable and asymptotically stable for NDDEs.  相似文献

Following the definition of domination of a topological space X by a metric space M introduced by Cascales, Orihuela and Tkachuk (2011) in [3], we define a topological cardinal invariant called the metric domination index of a topological space X   as minimum of the set {w(M):M is a metric space that dominates X}{w(M):M is a metric space that dominates X}. This invariant quantifies or measures the concept of M-domination of Cascales et al. (2011) [3]. We prove (in ZFC) that if K   is a compact space such that Cp(K)Cp(K) is strongly dominated by a second countable space then K is countable. This answers a question by the authors of Cascales et al.
