Left-symmetric algebras of derivations of free algebras

A structure of a left-symmetric algebra on the set of all derivations of a free algebra is introduced such that its commutator algebra becomes the usual Lie algebra of derivations. Left and right nilpotent elements of left-symmetric algebras of derivations are studied. Simple left-symmetric algebras of derivations and Novikov algebras of derivations are described. It is also proved that the positive part of the left-symmetric algebra of derivations of a free nonassociative symmetric m-ary algebra in one free variable is generated by one derivation and some right nilpotent derivations are described.

Consider a population of diploid individuals and the associated gametic multiple allelic algebra. The aim of this note is to give a structure theorem for the Lie algebra of derivations of this algebra.     

Derivations and automorphisms on non-commutative power series

We define a class of derivations on the algebra of the non-commutative power series in two variables and study the structure of the Lie algebra generated by them. After detecting the corresponding automorphisms under the exponential map explicitly, we clarify the structure of the automorphism group by means of the Hausdorff group associated to the Lie algebra.     

Derivations of noncommutative Arens algebras

The present paper deals with derivations of noncommutative Arens algebras. We prove that every derivation of an Arens algebra associated with a von Neumann algebra and a faithful normal finite trace is inner. In particular, each derivation on such algebras is automatically continuous in the natural topology, and in the commutative case, even for semi-finite traces, all derivations are identically zero. At the same time, the existence of noninner derivations is proved for noncommutative Arens algebras with a semi-finite but nonfinite trace.     

Two explicit realizations of a Lie algebra

We introduce a Lie algebra whose some properties are discussed, including its proper ideals, derivations and so on. Then, we again give rise to its two explicit realizations by adopting subalgebra of the Lie algebra A₂ and a column-vector Lie algebra, respectively. Under the frame of zero curvature equations, we may use the realizations to generate the same Lax integrable hierarchies of evolution equations and their Hamiltonian structure.     

Lie algebras with almost dimensionally nilpotent inner derivations

The structure of the Lie algebras with almost dimensionally nilpotent inner derivations is studied. It is proved that, if the base field is of characteristic 0, then, when d>6 is odd, there exist just two d-dimensional Lie algebras; when d>6 is even, there exists just one d-dimensional Lie algebra such that these Lie algebras are nonsolvable and have some almost dimensionally nilpotent inner derivations.     

Generalized Poisson brackets and lie algebras of type H in characteristic 0

The Lie algebra of Cartan type H which occurs as a subalgebra of the Lie algebra of derivations of the polynomial algebra was generalized by the first author to a class which included a subalgebra of the derivations of the Laurent polynomials . We show in this paper that these generalizations of Cartan type H algebras are isomorphic to certain generalizations of the classical algebra of Poisson brackets, and that it can be generalized further. In turn, these algebras can be recast in a form that is an adaption of a class of Lie algebras of characteristic p that was defined in 1958 be R. Block. A further generalization of these algebras is the main topic of this paper. We show when these algebras are simple, find their derivations, and determine all possible isomorphisms between two of these algebras. Locally nilpotent derivations and Nagata-type utomorphisms of a polynomial algebra

We study locally nilpotent derivations belonging to a Lie algebra sa _n of a special affine Cremona group in connection with the root decompositions of sa _n relative to the maximum standard torus. It is proved that all root locally nilpotent derivations are elementary. As a continuation of this research, we describe two- and three-root derivations. By using the results obtained by Shestakov and Umirbaev, it is shown that the exponents of almost all obtained three-root derivations are wild automorphisms of a polynomial algebra in three variables.     

F[x,y] as a Dialgebra and a Leibniz Algebra

In this article, we define a new associative dialgebra over a polynomial algebra F[x, y] with two indeterminates x and y. Left derivations, right derivations, derivations, and automorphisms of F[x, y] as associative dialgebra are determined. Meanwhile, we also determine all homogeneous derivations of F[x, y] as ?-graded Leibniz algebra, and automorphisms of Leibniz algebra F[x, y] preserving the standard filtration.     

Constructions for Octonion and Exceptional Jordan Algebras

In this note we reverse theusual process of constructing the Lie algebras of types G ₂and F ₄ as algebras of derivations of the splitoctonions or the exceptional Jordan algebra and instead beginwith their Dynkin diagrams and then construct the algebras togetherwith an action of the Lie algebras and associated Chevalley groups.This is shown to be a variation on a general construction ofall standard modules for simple Lie algebras and it is well suitedfor use in computational algebra systems. All the structure constantswhich occur are integral and hence the construction specialisesto all fields, without restriction on the characteristic, avoidingthe usual problems with characteristics 2 and 3.     

Ternary Derivations,Stability and Physical Aspects

Ternary algebras and modules are vector spaces on which products of three factors are defined. In this paper, we present several physical applications of ternary structures. Some recent results on the stability of ternary derivations are reviewed. Using a fixed point method, we also establish the generalized Hyers–Ulam–Rassias stability of ternary derivations from a normed ternary algebra into a Banach tri-module associated to the generalized Jensen functional equations and prove a superstability result. Approximately Local Derivations

Certain linear operators from a Banach algebra A into a BanachA-bimodule X, which are called approximately local derivations,are studied. It is shown that when A is a C^*-algebra, a Banachalgebra generated by idempotents, a semisimple annihilator Banachalgebra, or the group algebra of a SIN or a totally disconnectedgroup, bounded approximately local derivations from A into Xare derivations. This, in particular, extends a result of B.E. Johnson that ‘local derivations on C^*-algebras arederivations’ and provides an alternative proof of it.     

3-李代数的广义导子

给出了3-李代数的广义导子、拟导子、拟型心的定义,研究了他们之间的结构关系,并对具有极大对角环面的3-李代数的拟导子和拟型心结构进行了系统的研究.证明了(1)广义导代数GDer(A)可以分解成拟导子代数QDer(A)和拟型心QΓ(A)的直和;(2)3-李代数A的拟导子可以扩张成一个具有较大维数的3-李代数的导子;(3)拟导子代数QDer(A)包含在拟型心的正规化子中,表示为[QDer(A),QΓ(A)]?QΓ(A);(4)如果A包含极大对角环面T,那么QDer(A)和Qr(A)是T的对角模,也就是(T,T)半单地作用在QDer(A)和QΓ(A)上.     

A remark on the liftable derivation of moduli algebras of isolated hypersurface singularities

An example is given to show that not every derivation in the nilradical of the Lie algebra of derivations of moduli algebras can be liftable and the dimension of the nilradical of the Lie algebra of derivations of moduli algebras is not a topological invariant for an isolated hypersurface singularity.

     

A note on Poisson derivations

Free Poisson algebras are very closely connected with polynomial algebras, and the Poisson brackets are used to solve many problems in affine algebraic geometry. In this note, we study Poisson derivations on the symplectic Poisson algebra, and give a connection between the Jacobian conjecture with derivations on the symplectic Poisson algebra.     

The derivations of some evolution algebras

In this work, we investigate the derivations of n-dimensional complex evolution algebras, depending on the rank of the appropriate matrices. For evolution algebra with non-singular matrices we prove that the space of derivations is zero. The spaces of derivations for evolution algebras with matrices of rank n ? 1 are described.     

Lie ideals of graded associative algebras

We study the Lie structure of graded associative algebras. Essentially, we analyze the relation between Lie and associative graded ideals, and between Lie and associative graded derivations. Gathering together results on both directions, we compute maximal graded algebras of quotients of graded Lie algebras that arise from associative algebras. We also show that the Lie algebra Der _gr (A) of graded derivations of a graded semiprime associative algebra is strongly non-degenerate (modulo a certain ideal containing the center of Der _gr (A)).
