An excellent utility of Schmidt reaction of aldehydes to access corresponding nitriles in an instantaneous reaction is demonstrated. The reaction of aldehydes with NaN(3) and TfOH furnishes the corresponding nitriles in near quantitative yields and tolerates a variety of electron-withdrawing and electron-donating substituents on the substrates. Formanilides, a common side product in Schmidt reaction, is not observed in this reaction. Besides these advantages, the salient feature of this reaction is that it exhibits a remarkable chemoselectivity, as acid and ketone functionalities are well tolerated under the reaction conditions. The reaction is easily scalable, high yielding, and nearly instantaneous. 相似文献

The reactivity of W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(py)2 and W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(pic)2 (py=pyridine; pic=4-picoline) with unsaturated substrates has been investigated. Treatment of W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(py)2 with diphenylacetylene or 2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene generates W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(eta2-PhCCPh) and W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(eta4-CH2=C(Me)C(Me)=CH2), respectively, while the addition of ethylene to W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(py)2 generates the known metallacycle W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(CH2CH2CH2CH2). The addition of 2 equiv of acetone to W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(pic)2 provides the azaoxymetallacycle W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(OCH(Me)2)(OC(Me)2-o-C5H3N-p-Me), the result of acetone insertion into the ortho C-H bond of picoline. Similarily, the addition of 2 equiv of RC(O)H [R=Ph, tBu] to W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(py)2 generates W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(OCH2R)(OCHR-o-C5H4N) [R=Ph, tBu,]. In contrast, reaction between W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(py)2 and 2-pyridine carboxaldehyde yields the diolate W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(OCH(C5H4N)CH(C5H4N)O). The synthesis of W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(PMe3)(py)(eta2-OC(H)C6H4-p-Me), formed by the addition of p-tolualdehyde to a mixture of W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(py)2 and PMe3, suggests that an eta2-aldehyde intermediate is involved in the formation of the azaoxymetallacycle, while the isolation of W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(Cl)(OC(Me)(CMe3)-o-C5H4N), formed by the reaction of pinacolone with W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(py)2, in the presence of adventitious CH2Cl2, suggests that the reaction proceeds via the hydride W(NPh)(o-(Me3SiN)2C6H4)(H)(OC(Me)(CMe3)-o-C5H4N). 相似文献

The copper(II) complex Cu(2)L(OMe)(H(2)O)(3), [middle dot]3H(2)O [H(3)L = 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-1,3-bis[4-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-azabut-3-enyl]-1,3-imidazolidine] was obtained and recrystallised in methanol to yield crystals of [[Cu(2)L(OMe)]](2).2.5MeOH.4H(2)O, 1.2.5MeOH.4H(2)O. Its single X-ray study shows that it contains two crystallographically different but chemically equivalent dinuclear [Cu(2)L(OMe)] 1 molecules in the asymmetric unit cell. The copper atoms of each dinuclear moiety are in distorted square-pyramidal environments, with both pyramids sharing an apical phenolate and a basal methanolate oxygen atom. Magnetic characterisation of 1.3H(2)O shows a quite strong intramolecular ferromagnetic coupling between both metal atoms. Extended Huckel calculations reveal that the intradinuclear magnetic interaction seems to be mediated by the exogenous methanolate bridging ligand. 相似文献

The ruthenium(IV) nitride complex (PNP)RuN (PNP = (tBu2PCH2-SiMe2)2N-) reacts rapidly with 2NO to form (PNP)Ru(NO) and N2O, via no detectable intermediate. The linear nitrosyl complex has a planar structure. In a slower reaction, (PNP)RuN reacts with N2O by O-atom transfer (established by 15N labeling) to give the same nitrosyl complex and N2. Density functional theory (B3LYP) calculations show both reactions to be very thermodynamically favorable. Analysis of possible intermediates in each reaction shows that radical (PNP)RuN(NO) has much spin density on nitride N (hence, N2-), while one 2 + 3 metallacycle, (PNP)RuN3O, has the wrong connectivity to form a product. Instead, an intermediate with a doubly bent N2O (hence, a two-electron reduced N-nitrosoimide form) brings the O atom in proximity to the nitride N on the path to a product. 相似文献

The treatment of [Ru(L(OEt))(N)Cl(2)] (1; L(OEt)(-) = [Co(η(5)-C(5)H(5)){P(O)(OEt)(2)}(3)](-)) with Et(3)SiH affords [Ru(L(OEt))Cl(2)(NH(3))] (2), whereas that with [Ru(L(OEt))(H)(CO)(PPh(3))] (3) gives the dinuclear imido complex [(L(OEt))Cl(2)Ru(μ-NH)Ru(CO)(PPh(3))(L(OEt))] (4). The imido group in 4 binds to the two ruthenium atoms unsymmetrically with Ru-N distances of 1.818(6) and 1.952(6) ?. The reaction between 1 and 3 at 25 °C in a toluene solution is first order in both complexes with a second-order rate constant determined to be (7.2 ± 0.4) × 10(-5) M(-1) s(-1). 相似文献

The axial water exchange on glycinatocopper(II) complexes was theoretically investigated by using density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Glycinatocopper(II) complexes are well-known by the diffusion controlled exchange of axial ligands. Calculations using explicitly coordinating water molecules and solvent models showed that bis-glycinatocopper(II) complexes have a four-coordinate planar structure, in which waters are excluded from the axial positions of Cu(II) due to the Jahn-Teller effect. This may be because coordinating axial waters induce the discrepancy in the most stable ligand field splittings of inner 3d and outer 4d orbitals of the Cu(II) cation. To estimate the reactivity of the axial water exchange, we calculated the rate constant by calculating Gibbs free energies for the activation. As a result, we obtained the rate constant as k = 3.61 x 10(10) s(-1) in aqueous solution at T = 298.15 K. This rate constant is slightly larger than that of the diffusion controlled exchange of axial waters, which is experimentally observed in the order of 10(9) s(-1). Finally, we determined the structures of tris-glycinatocopper(II) complexes. It was consequently found that the third glycine is coordinated to Cu with the amino groups as experimentally observed. 相似文献

[reaction: see text] A direct synthesis of pyrroles from imines, acid chlorides, and alkynes mediated by isocyanides is reported. This reaction proceeds with a range of each of these three substrates, providing a method to generate families of pyrroles in high yield. Mechanistic studies suggest this process proceeds via the generation of imino analogues of munchnones, which can undergo in situ coupling with alkynes to liberate isocyanate and form the pyrrole product. 相似文献

The recently published two-step ammonolysis reaction giving access to phase-pure GaFe(3)N has been reinvestigated. Thermochemical calculations show that a high-temperature route is necessary to avoid the formation of the competing GaN phase. Compared to the prior study showing a Vegard-like behavior (that is, a linear correlation between lattice parameter and elemental composition), improved X-ray analysis using Mo Kα(1) radiation in combination with density-functional theory calculations reveal a more complicated behavior of the lattice parameter within the entire Ga(x)Fe(4-x)N series. The new finding originates from the magnetic properties, and the change in the magnetic ordering with increasing Ga content from ferromagnetic γ'-Fe(4)N to antiferromagnetically ordered GaFe(3)N, as observed from susceptibility measurements, is reproduced by different theoretical spin-alignment models, that is, a systematic evaluation of several antiferromagnetic spin orientations. Nonetheless, all structural models are based on the favored atomic ordering for GaFe(3)N, explainable by the strong affinity between iron and nitrogen. 相似文献

Summary Two methods are given for the determination of copper in very dilute solutions in water (1g/ml). The sample is passed through filter paper impregnated with cadmium sulphide. Copper, lead, mercury, silver and bismuth ions at pH1.5–2 give an exchange reaction with the cadmium and are caught on the paper. When the paper is washed free from acid, dried, and treated with potassium cyanide, only the copper sulphide reacts. The excess of cyanide can be determined by its reaction with a filter impregnated with silver chloride, the size of the spot washed free from silver being a measure of the amount of cyanide. No other ions interfere with this method. If the other exchanging ions are absent, the copper can be estimated directly from the intensity of the copper sulphide stain on the cadmium sulphide paper, a standard series of stains being used for comparison. The range is 10–150g of copper in 500–1000 ml the error being 3% for the cyanide method, and 7–8% for the standard series method.
Zusammenfassung Zwei Bestimmungsmethoden für Cu in sehr verdünnten wäßrigen Lösungen (1g/ml) werden angegeben. Man läßt die Probe durch ein mit CdS imprägniertes Filterpapier laufen. Cu, Pb, Hg, Ag und Bi werden bei pH 1,5 bis 2 durch eine Austauschreaktion auf dem Papier festgehalten. Wird dieses säurefrei gewaschen, getrocknet und mit KCN behandelt, so reagiert nur CuS. Der Cyanidüberschuß kann durch seine Reaktion mit einem AgCl-imprägnierten Filter bestimmt werden, wobei das freigewaschene Silber als Maß für die Cyanidmenge dient. Die Methode wird von keinen anderen Ionen gestört. Fehlen die vier neben Cu genannten Ionen, so läßt sich die Cu-Menge direkt aus der am CdS-Papier entstehenden Färbung schätzen, wozu man. sich einer Reihe von Standardfärbungen bedient. 10 bis 150g Cu lassen sich in 500 bis 1000 ml mit einem Fehler von 3% nach der Cyanidmethode, und 7 bis 8% mit Hilfe der Standardreihe bestimmen.相似文献

Base-stabilized silanone complex Cp*(OC)(2)W(SiMe(3)){O═SiMes(2)(DMAP)} (2) was synthesized by the reaction of (silyl)(silylene)tungsten complex Cp*(OC)(2)W(SiMe(3))(═SiMes(2)) (1) with 1 equiv of pyridine-N-oxide (PNO) in the presence of 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine (DMAP). Further oxygenation of 2 with 3 equiv of PNO at 80 °C resulted in the formation of a W-O-Si-O-Si framework to give disiloxanoxy complex Cp*(O)(2)W{OSiMes(2)(OSiMe(3))} (3). The neutral bisimidoylamidine (or 1,3,5-triazapentadiene) Ni(II) complexes [Ni{HN=C(R)N=C(C(6)H(4)CO)N}(2)] {R=Me, Et, nPr, iPr, (CH(2))(3)Cl}, bearing an iminoisoindolinone moiety, have been generated by a novel 2-propanone oxime-mediated single-pot reaction of phthalonitrile and nickel(II) acetate in solution of the corresponding alkylnitrile (RCN). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses indicate a square-planar geometry of the imidoylamidine core. The synthesised compounds represent rare specimens of genuine unsymmetrical imidoylamidine complexes as well as their first examples generated from nitriles in a single-pot reaction. 相似文献

This work reports computed rate coefficients of 90 reactions important in the autocatalytic oxidation of hydroxylamine in aqueous nitric acid. Rate coefficients were calculated using four approaches: Smoluchowski (Stokes-Einstein) diffusion, a solution-phase incarnation of transition state theory based on quantum chemistry calculations, simple Marcus theory for electron-transfer reactions, and a variational TST approach for dissociative isomerization reactions that occur in the solvent cage. Available experimental data were used to test the accuracy of the computations. There were significant discrepancies between the computed and experimental values for some key parameters, indicating a need for improvements in computational methodology. Nonetheless, the 90-reaction mechanism showed the ability to reproduce many of the trends seen in experimental studies of this very complicated kinetic system. This work highlights reactions that may govern the system evolution and branching behavior critical to the stability of the system. We hope that this analysis will guide experimental investigations to reduce the uncertainties in the critical rate coefficients and thermochemistry, allowing an unambiguous determination of the dominant reaction pathways in the system. Advances in efficient and accurate solvation models that effectively separate entropic and enthalpic contributions will most directly benefit solution-phase modeling efforts. Methods for more accurately estimating activity coefficients, including at infinite dilution in multicomponent mixtures, are needed for modeling high ionic strength aqueous systems. Reported herein is a new, metathetical P for O(Cl) exchange mediated by an anionic niobium phosphide complex that furnished phosphaalkynes (RCP) from acid chlorides (RC(O)Cl) under mild conditions. The niobaziridine hydride complex, Nb(H)(tBu(H)C=NAr)(N[Np]Ar)2 (1, Np = neopentyl, Ar = 3,5-Me2C6H3), has been shown previously to react with elemental phosphorus (P4), affording the mu-diphosphide complex, (mu2:eta2,eta2-P2)[Nb(N[Np]Ar)3]2, (2), which can be subsequently reduced by sodium amalgam to the anonic, terminal phosphide complex, [Na][PNb(N[Np]Ar)3] (3). It is now shown that treatment of 3 with either pivaloyl (t-BuC(O)Cl) or 1-adamantoyl (1-AdC(O)Cl) chloride provides the thermally unstable niobacyles, (t-BuC(O)P)Nb(N[Np]Ar)3 (4-t-Bu) and (1-AdC(O)P)Nb(N[Np]Ar)3 (4-1-Ad), which are intermediates along the pathway to ejection of the known phosphaalkynes t-BuCP (5-t-Bu) and 1-AdCP(5-1-Ad). Phosphaalkyne ejection from 4-t-Bu and 4-1-Ad proceeds with formation of the niobium(V) oxo complex ONb(N[Np]Ar)3 (6) as a stable byproduct. Preliminary kinetic measurements for fragmentation of 4-t-Bu to 5-t-Bu and 6 in C6D6 solution are consistent with a first-order process, yielding the thermodynamic parameters DeltaH = 24.9 +/- 1.4 kcal mol-1 and DeltaS = 2.4 +/- 4.3 cal mol-1 K-1 over the temperature range 308-338 K. Separation of volatile 5-t-Bu from 6 after thermolysis has been readily achieved by vacuum transfer in yields of 90%. Pure 6 is recovered after vacuum transfer and can be treated with 1.0 equiv of triflic anhydride (Tf2O, Tf = O2SCF3) to afford the bistriflate complex, Nb(OTf)2(N[Np]Ar)3 (7), in high yield. Complex 7 provides direct access to 1 upon reduction with magnesium anthracene, thus completing a cycle of element activation, small-molecule generation via metathetical P-atom transfer, and deoxygenative recycling of the final niobium(V) oxo product. 相似文献

The preparation of technetium-99m-humic complex without presence of any metal reductant was studied. For the preparation of Tc-HA complex by ligand substitution hexakis(thiourea-S)technetium(III) complex was used as a precursor. Ligand exchanging reaction was studied with two different humate/thiourea concentration ratios. After mixing of [99mTc(tu)6]3+ complex with natrium humate under a nitrogen atmosphere a formation of technetium humate wasobserved. The determination of reaction products was performed by combination of gel and paper chromatography. Reaction yields are dependent on humate/thiourea concentration ratio and reaction time. Tc-HA complex was obtained with the highest yield of 62%. Reaction mixture also contains a technetium dioxide as a side product of exchanging reaction and other technetium species, which are also discussed. Oxidation state of technetium in prepared Tc-HA complex is apparently unchanged. 相似文献

The angular and velocity distributions of desorbing products were analyzed in the course of a catalyzed N2O + CO reaction on Pd(110). The reaction proceeded steadily above 450 K, and the N2 desorption merely collimated sharply along 45 degrees off the surface normal toward the [001] direction. It is proposed that this peculiar N2 desorption is induced by the decomposition of adsorbed N2O oriented along the [001] direction. On the basis of the observation of similar inclined N2 desorption in both NO + CO and N2O + CO reactions, the N2 formation via the intermediate N2Oa dissociation was confirmed in catalytic NO reduction. 相似文献
