We consider hypergroups associated with Jacobi functions () (x), (–1/2). We prove the existence of a dual convolution structure on [0,+[i(]0,s 0]{{) =++1,s 0=min(,–+1). Next we establish a Lévy-Khintchine type formula which permits to characterize the semigroup and the infinitely divisible probabilities associated with this dual convolution, finally we prove a central limit theorem.  相似文献

An algorithm is constructed for identifying deterministic dynamical systems described using a Urysohn operator, i. e., the investigation is conducted under the hypothesis that the investigated object has a partially known structure, a grey box, and the identification problem consists in approximating the Urysohn nonlinearity. The initial information for solving the identification problem is the aggregate of the input effects on a physical object, the input, and also its reaction to these effects, the output. In the framework of the theory of D. Kendall's delphic semigroups are considered problems of divisibility in the semigroup of convex characteristic functions on the semiaxis (0,). Letn ()={:1¦11 or 1=}, and Io()={: 1¦ 1 N()}. The following results are proved: 1) The semigroup is almost delphic in the sense of R. Let R be an associative, commutative, unital ring. By a R-algebra we mean a unital R-module A together with a R-module homomorphism : R n AA (n2). We raise the question whether such an algebra possesses either an idempotent or a nilpotent element. In section 1 an affirmative answer is obtained in case R=k is an algebraically closed field and dimkA<, as well as in case R=, dimS<, and n0(2). Section 2 deals with the case of reduced rings R and R-algebras which are finitely generated and projective as R-modules. In section 3 we show that the generic algebra over an integral domain D fails to have nilpotent elements in any integral domain extending its base ring Dn,m, and thus acquires an idempotent element in some integral domain extending Dn,m.Partially supported by National Science Foundation Grant GP-38229.  相似文献

Kabakov has proved that for the finite validity (in Medvedev's sense) of intuitively unprovable propositional formulas it is necessary that an implication occur in the premise or else in the inference of some subformula of the type ( ), and, consequently, that at least two implications be present. We construct an asymptotic formula for a sum function for a (), where a () is the sum of the ath powers of the norms of divisors of the Gaussian integer on an arithmetic progression 0 (mod ) and in a narrow sector 1 arg < 2. Replacing convex by strongly convex we show that Helly's famous intersection theorem holds on every Riemannian n-manifold in the following form: The intersection of k relatively compact, strongly convex subsets of M (kn+i2) is nonvoid as soon as any n+i of these sets have a nonvoid intersection, where i=2 if M is homeomorphic to the standard n-sphere and i=1 otherwise.  相似文献

Ebendort wird auch die Reduktionstypeneigenschaft für ((0, ), (0, 0, )) und ((0, )), (0, 0, )) nachgewiesen, während ((0, ), (, )) sich als entscheidbar herausgestellt hat (s. E. Börger: Eine entscheidbare Klasse von Kromformeln. ZMLG 19 (1973), 117–120.) Der Kromsche Reduktionstyp konnte mittlerweile einerseits zu ((0, ), (0, 4)) verschärft werden (s. D. Rödding, E. The problem of the minimax detection of a signal is considered in a Gaussian white noise of intensity 0. The set of the signals represents an ellipsoid in the p-metric with lengths of semiaxes ak –1 0 as k , from which a ball of radius 0 as 0 in the p-metric has been removed.
