我国最近立项建设的合肥先进光源将是一台软X射线与真空紫外衍射极限储存环光源,其电子束能量为2.2 GeV,周长为480 m,束流自然发射度为86 pm·rad,共有20个长直线节和20个短直线节。介绍了目前合肥先进光源储存环物理设计的进展情况,包括磁聚焦结构设计与优化,束流注入和集体效应的模拟与计算。  相似文献

A storage ring-based light source, Beijing Advanced Photon Source (BAPS), is proposed to store a 5 GeV low-emittance electron beam and to provide high-brilliance coherent radiation. In this paper, we report our efforts of pushing down the emittance of BAPS to approach the so-called ultimate storage ring, while fixing the circumference to about 1200 m. To help deal with the challenge of beam dynamics associated with the intrinsic, very strong nonlinearities in an ultralow-emittance ring, a combination of several progressive technologies is used in the linear optics design and nonlinear optimization, such as a modified theoretical minimum emittance cell with small-aperture magnets, quasi-3rd-order achromat, theoretical analyzer based on Lie Algebra and Hamiltonian analysis, multi-objective genetic algorithm and frequency map analysis. These technologies enable us to obtain satisfactory beam dynamics in one lattice design with natural emittance of 75 pm.  相似文献

A low emittance lattice design and optimization procedure are systematically studied with a non-dominated sorting-based multi-objective evolutionary algorithm which not only globally searches the low emittance lattice, but also optimizes some beam quantities such as betatron tunes, momentum compaction factor and dispersion function simultaneously. In this paper the detailed algorithm and lattice design procedure are presented. The Hefei light source upgrade project storage ring lattice, with fixed magnet layout, is designed to illustrate this optimization procedure.  相似文献

为了测量受空间电荷效应支配的发射度,合肥光源高亮度注入器采用了狭缝法进行测量,研究了基于狭缝法发射度测量系统的构成,并以实例比较了单狭缝和多狭缝在发射度测量系统中的应用。两种测量方法的结果表明:单狭缝法测量的结果更接近于模拟计算值,可有效避免子束团之间的重叠,适用范围更广。实验结果表明:在240 pC电荷量情况下,合肥光源高亮度注入器仍然具有较小的归一化发射度,为(1.840.085) mmmrad。  相似文献

报道了工作点测量技术的研究现状,对束流频谱分析用于工作点测量的方法进行了详细说明。介绍了上海光源储存环工作点测量系统的物理需求、方案设计、硬件结构及关键设备选型。采用束流实验的方法对系统配置参数进行优化,对系统测量误差及分辨力进行测试评估,讨论了测量系统不同工作模式的优缺点,并给出加速器不同运行阶段应该采用的运行模式。优化后的上海光源工作点测量系统,其系统测量误差小于0.000 1,测量分辨力好于0.000 05,测量过程对束流轨道及等效束斑尺寸的扰动控制在μm量级,现已在上海光源运行及机器研究中投入实用。  相似文献

We try to design the lattice with 2 super periods and 4-DBA structure in order to provide more drifts for the future development of the TTX source. Due to the space limitation in the lab, the 4-DBA lattice is suitable.In the paper,we present the lattice design with a 4-DBA structure mainly for the pulse mode of the compact laser-electron storage ring (LESR). Element parameters of the lattice are optimized with the help of the professional software and beam dynamics such as intra-beam scattering (IBS) and Compton scattering (CS) are calculated. A new mode is designed with an emittance of 2.47 nm-rad at 3.0 GeV beam energy, lower than the nominal mode of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) storage ring. Details of the linear optics design and the nonlinear optimization are presented in this paper. During Phase I commissioning of the storage ring we tested the new optics mode and some expected results were obtained. After restoring the linear optics by means of the linear optics with closed orbit technique, the main parameters of the real machine agree well with the designed values and the injection efficiency and beam lifetime are acceptable.  相似文献

A design strategy is discussed in this paper,and it provides much convenience for effectively exploring achievable linear optics and globally investigating the flexibility of a complex lattice with super-periodicity.A matching method of fractional steps,which means separately finding the standard cell setting and the matching cell setting,is adopted to simplify the complexity of the linear beam optics design in the complex lattice.The multi-objective genetic algorithm is used to find most of all the stable linear optics,and reach a target solution after multi-generational propagation,both in the standard cell and the matching cell.A fitting algorithm with gradient information is used to restore the periodicity and symmetry of the lattice,and finely adjust the linear optics for further optimization.This design strategy is applied in the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF) storage ring,and the results are presented.  相似文献
