We construct complexified versions of the quantum groups associated with the Lie algebras of typeA n?1 ,B n ,C n , andD n . Following the ideas of Faddeev, Reshetikhin and Takhtajan we obtain the Hopf algebras of regular functionals U? on these complexified quantum groups. In the special exampleA 1 we derive theq-deformed enveloping algebraU q (sl(2, ?)). In the limitq→1 the undeformedU q (sl(2, ?)) is recovered.  相似文献

The Borel-Weil (BW) construction for unitary irreps of a compact Lie group is extended to a construction of all unitary irreps of the quantum groupU q(n). Thisq-BW construction uses a recursion procedure forU q(n) in which the fiber of the bundle carries an irrep ofU q(n–1)×U q(1) with sections that are holomorphic functions in the homogeneous spaceU q(n)/U q(n–1)×U q(1). Explicit results are obtained for theU q(n) irreps and for the related isomorphism of quantum group algebras.Supported in part by the National Science Foundation, No. PHY-9008007  相似文献

We study the canonical quantization of the SU(n) WZNW model. Decoupling the chiral dynamics requires an extended state space including left and right monodromies as independent variables. In the simplest (n = 2) case we explicitly show that the zero modes of the monodromy extended SU(2) WZNW model give rise to a quantum group gauge theory in a finite-dimensional Fock space. We define the subspace of Uq(sl(2)) ⊗ Uq(sl(2))-invariant vectors on which the monodromy invariance is also restored and construct the physical space applying a generalized cohomology condition.  相似文献

We introduce and study new integrable models (IMs) of An(1)-nonabelian Toda type which admit U(1)⊗U(1) charged topological solitons. They correspond to the symmetry breaking SU(n+1)→SU(2)⊗SU(2)⊗U(1)n−2 and are conjectured to describe charged dyonic domain walls of N=1 SU(n+1) SUSY gauge theory in large n limit. It is shown that this family of relativistic IMs corresponds to the first negative grade q=−1 member of a dyonic hierarchy of generalized cKP type. The explicit relation between the 1-soliton solutions (and the conserved charges as well) of the IMs of grades q=−1 and q=2 is found. The properties of the IMs corresponding to more general symmetry breaking SU(n+1)→SU(2)pU(1)np as well as IM with global SU(2) symmetries are discussed.  相似文献

We show that the quantum Heisenberg groupH q (1) and its *-Hopf algebra structure can be obtained by means of contraction from quantumSU q (2) group. Its dual Hopf algebra is the quantum Heisenberg algebraU q (h(1)). We derive left and right regular representations forU q (h(1)) as acting on its dualH q (1). Imposing conditions on the right representation, the left representation is reduced to an irreducible holomorphic representation with an associated quantum coherent state. Realized in the Bargmann-Hilbert space of analytic functions the unitarity of regular representation is also shown. By duality, left and right regular representations for quantum Heisenberg group with the quantum Heisenberg algebra as representation module are also constructed. As before reduction of group left representations leads to finite dimensional irreducible ones for which the intertwinning operator is also investigated.  相似文献

Some series of unitary representations of the quantum group SU q (1, 1) are introduced. Their matrix elements are expressed in terms of the basic hypergeometric functions. Operator realization of the coordinate elements of SU q (1, 1) and aq-analogue of some classical identities are discussed.  相似文献

Following the introduction of the invariant distance on the non-commutative C-algebra of the quantum group SU q(2) the Green function on the q-Podler's sphere M q = SU q(2)/U(1) is derived. Possible applications are briefly discussed.  相似文献

It is shown that the quantum supergroup U q (osp(1/2n)) is essentially isomorphic to the quantum group U -q (so(2n+1)) restricted to tensorial representations. This renders it straightforward to classify all the finite-dimensional irreducible representations of U q (osp(1/2n)) at generic q. In particular, it is proved that at generic q, every-dimensional irrep of this quantum supergroup is a deformation of an osp(1/2n) irrep, and all the finite-dimensional representations are completely reducible.  相似文献

A new method for calculation of Clebsch-Gordan coefficients (CGCs) of the Lie algebrau(n) and its quantum analogU q(u(n)) is developed. The method is based on the projection operator method in combination with the Wigner-Racah calculus for the subalgebrau(n−1) (U q(u(n−1))). The key formulas of the method are couplings of the tensor and projection operators and also a tensor form of the projection operator ofu(n) andU q(u(n)). It is shown that theU q(u(n)) CGCs can be presented in terms of theU q(u)(n−1)) q−9j-symbols. We characterize the finite-dimensional representations of the quantum affine algebra U q ( n+1) (whereq × is not a root of unity) which are irreducible as representations of U q (sl n+1). We call such representations small. In 1986, Jimbo defined a family of homomorphismsev a from U q (sl n+1) to (an enlargement of) U q (sl,n+1), depending on a parametera ·. A second family,ev a can be obtained by a small modification of Jimbo's formulas. We show that every small representation of U q ( n+1) is obtained by pulling back an irreducible representation of U q (sl n+1) byev a orev a for somea ·.  相似文献

In defining quantum superalgebras, extra relations need to be added to the Serre-like relations. They are obtained for sl q (m, n) and osp q (m, 2n) usingq-oscillator representations.Supported in part by the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada.  相似文献

We obtain new family of quasitriangular Hopf algebras via the author's recent double-bosonisation construction for new quantum groups. They are versions of U q(su n+1) with a fermionic rather than bosonic quantum plane of roots adjoined to U q(su n). We give the n = 2 case in detail. We also consider the anyonic-double of an anyonic ( ) braided group and the double-bosonisation of the free braided group in n variables.  相似文献

The quantum commutationsRTT=TTR and the orthogonal (symplectic) conditions for the inhomogeneous multiparametricq-groups of theB n ,C n ,D n type are found in terms of theR-matrix ofB n+1 ,C n+1 ,D n+1 .A consistent Hopf structure on these inhomogeneousq-groups is constructed by means of a projection fromB n+1 ,C n+1 ,D n+1 .Real forms are discussed; in particular, we obtain theq-groups ISO q,r (n+1,n–1), including the quantum Poincaré group. The inhomogeneusq-groups do not contain dilatations when the parameters satisfy certain conditions. For example, we find a dilatation-freeq-Poincaré group depending on one real parameterq.  相似文献

We show that theq-Weyl coefficients of the quantum algebraSU q (3) are equal to theq-Racah coefficients of the quantum algebraSU q (2) (up to a simple phase factor). Using aq-analog of the resummation procedure we obtain also theq-analogues of all known general analytical expressions for the 6j-symbols (or the Racah coefficients) of the quantum algebraSU q (2) starting from one such formula.Presented at the 4th Colloquium Quantum groups and integrable systems, Prague, 22–24 June 1995.The research described in this publication was supported in part by Grants No. MB1000 and No. NRC000 from International Science Foundation.  相似文献

The one-loop effective potential of theSU(5) model is investigated both in high and low temperature approximation. We find the regions of values of coupling constants and temperatures where theSU(5), theSU(4)×U(1) and theSU(3)×SU(2)×U(1) symmetric states are metastable. A general method of such an investigation is proposed. We observe that the domain structure of the Universe with the simultaneous existence of the gauge symmetriesSU(4)×U(1) andSU(3)×SU(2)×U(1) in different domains could take place.  相似文献

A generalized transformation theory is introduced by using quantum (non-commutative) spaces transformed by quantum Lie groups (Hopf algebras). In our method dual pairs of -quantum groups/algebras (co)act on quantum spaces equipped with the structure of a -comodule algebra. We use the quantized groupSU q (2) as a show case, and we determine its action on modules such as theq-oscillator and the quantum sphere. We also apply our method for the quantized Euclidean groupF q (E(2)) acting on a quantum homogeneous space. For the sphere case the construction leads to an analytic pseudodifferential vector field realization of the deformed algebra su q (2) on the quantum projective plane for north and south pole.Presented by A.A. at the 5th International Colloquium on Quantum Groups: Quantum Groups and Integrable Systems, Prague, 20–20 June 1996 and by D.E. at the 4th International Congress of Geometry, Thessaloniki.  相似文献

We show that the (isoscalar)Y(Y L ) boson, originally introduced on the basis of compositeness andW, Y(Y L ) dominance can be understood as an extra gauge boson within aU(1) B ×SU(2) L ×U(1) Y gauge theory broken by an appropriate choice of the Higgs sector. Radiative-correction effects can thus be calculated as reliably as in theSU(2) L ×U(1) Y , theory when comparing the predictions with forthcoming precision data in theSLC/LEP energy range.  相似文献
