On quasi-convex mappings of order α in the unit ball of a complex Banach space

In this paper, a class of biholomorphic mappings named quasi-convex mapping of order α in the unit ball of a complex Banach space is introduced. When the Banach space is confined to Cn, we obtain the relation between this class of mappings and the convex mappings.Furthermore, the growth and covering theorems of this class of mappings are given on the unit ball of a complex Banach space Ⅹ. Finally, we get the second order terms coefficient estimations of the homogeneous expansion of quasi-convex mapping of order α defined on the polydisc in Cn and on the unit ball in a complex Banach space, respectively.

多复变数全纯映射精细的Bohr定理

本文首先建立不依赖自同构从复Banach空间平衡域到Cn单位多圆柱上一定限制条件下全纯映射精细的范数型Bohr定理及复Banach空间X上单位球到复Banach空间Y上单位球全纯映射精细的泛函型Bohr定理.其次,给出有界对称域上全纯映射精细的Bohr定理.最后,得到J*代数单位球上全纯映射精细的Bohr定理.所得结果将一维的Bohr定理推广至高维.     

Banach f-algebras and Banach lattice algebras with unit

We give a necessary and sufficient condition for a Banach lattice algebra to be representable as a Banach lattice of continuous realvalued functions on a compact space, endowed with the pointwise defined multiplication. Moreover, we give a characterisation of Banach lattice algebras possessing an algebraic unit.     

A refinement about estimation of expansion coefficients for normalized biholomorphic mappings

A refining estimation of homogeneous expansion for / is discussed, where f belongs to a subclass of all normalized biholomorphic mappings defined on the unit polydisk in Cn or the unit ball in complex Banach spaces, and x = 0 is a zero of order k 1 of f(x)-x. Moreover, an estimation of homogeneous expansion for subordinate mappings defined on the unit ball in complex Banach spaces is also given.

本文讨论一般复Banach空间上单位球B的Caratheodory度量和Kobayashi 度量的性质,并据此将Cn(n≥1)中单位球Bn上双全纯凸映射的矩阵形式偏差定理 推广到一般复Banach空间的单位球B上.     

Retracting a ball onto a sphere in some Banach spaces

The unit sphere in an infinite dimensional Banach space is a lipschitzian retract of the unit ball. The aim of this paper is to present a new upper bound for the optimal retraction constant in some classical Banach spaces. In particular, an improved estimate from above is obtained for the space C[0,1].     

A two-dimensional inequality and uniformly continuous retractions

We prove a new inequality valid in any two-dimensional normed space. As an application, it is shown that the identity mapping on the unit ball of an infinite-dimensional uniformly convex Banach space is the mean of n uniformly continuous retractions from the unit ball onto the unit sphere, for every n?3. This last result allows us to study the extremal structure of uniformly continuous function spaces valued in an infinite-dimensional uniformly convex Banach space.

On the automorphisms of circular and Reinhardt domains in complex banach spaces

The group Aut(D) of all biholomorphic automorphisms of a bounded circular domain D in a complex Banach space E is discussed. As an application the group Aut[D] is computed for the open unit balls of certain classical Banach spaces.     

On Banach spaces with Kasparov and Yu's Property (H)

A new geometric property of Banach spaces recently introduced by G. Kasparov and G. Yu, called Property (H), has important applications to the strong Novikov conjecture and the coarse Novikov conjecture, yet is far from being well understood. In this paper, we investigate various uniformly continuous maps on unit spheres of Banach spaces and prove that all separable Banach lattices with nontrivial cotype have Property (H).

一类近于凸映照子族精确的偏差定理

首先建立了C~n中单位多圆柱上一类近于凸映照子族精确的偏差定理,同时在复Banach空间单位球上也建立了该类映照精确的偏差定理的下界估计.其次在复Banach空间单位球上建立了准星形映照精确的偏差定理.所得结果将单复变中近于凸函数和星形函数的偏差定理推广至高维情形,并且对龚升提出的一个公开问题给出肯定的回答.     

Spectrum localization in Banach spaces II

We prove that a topological space is uniform Eberlein compact iff it is homeomorphic to a super weakly compact subset C of a Banach space such that the closed convex hull coC of C is super weakly compact. We also show that a Banach space X is super weakly compactly generated iff the dual unit ball B_X* of X^* in its weak star topology is affinely homeomorphic to a super weakly compactly convex subset of a Banach space.     

Extension of isometries between the unit spheres of complex l(Γ)(p>1)spaces

In this paper, we study the extension of isometries between the unit spheres of complex Banach spaces l^p(Γ) and l^p(Δ)(p > 1). We first derive the representation of isometries between the unit spheres of complex Banach spaces l^p(Γ) and l^p(Δ). Then we arrive at a conclusion that any surjective isometry between the unit spheres of complex Banach spaces l^p(Γ)and l^p(Δ) can be extended to be a linear isometry on the whole space.     

A criterion for Banach manifolds to be finite-dimensional

We extend the results obtained in [1] to the case of arbitrary Banach spaces and manifolds. We give an example of a continuous bijective mapping with discontinuous inverse which acts in a Banach space and differs from the identical mapping only in an open unit ball.
