A nonautonomous stage-structured two species model with time delay anddiffusion is considered. It is shown that the system is uniformly persistent undersome conditions. By discussing the independent subsystem, more brief sufficientconditions are drawn for a unique positive periodic solution which is globallyattractive and the existence of the positive almost periodic solution which isuniformly asymptotically stable by the Razumikhin function method.  相似文献

We exhibit examples of almost periodic Verblunsky coefficients for which Herman’s subharmonicity argument applies and yields the result that the associated Lyapunov exponents are uniformly bounded away from zero. As an immediate consequence of this result, we obtain examples of almost periodic Verblunsky coefficients for which the associated probability measure on the unit circle is pure point.  相似文献

In this paper, asymptotics are studied for some almost periodic processes on a complete metric space (X, d): (1) It is shown that any precompact positive trajectory of a contractive periodic process is asymptotically almost periodic as t → +∞. This property does not hold for general almost periodic contractive processes. (2) A compactness result is obtained for weakly almost periodic complete trajectories of some (possibly nonlinear) processes in a uniformly convex Banach space. (3) The existence of almost periodic trajectories is studied for “affine” processes in a uniformly convex Banach space. These results are applicable to some evolution equations of the form dudt + A (t) u(t) ? f(t), where ?(t) is almost periodic: RV uniformly convex Banach space and A(t) is a periodic, time-dependent, m-accretive operator in V.  相似文献

In this paper,a nonlinear nonautonomous predator-prey dispersion model with continuous distributed delay is studied,where all parameters are time-dependent.In this system consisting of n-patches the prey species can disperse among n-patches,but the predator species is confined to one patch and cannot disperse.It is proved that the system is uniformly persistent under any dispersion rate effect.Furthermore,some sufficient conditions are established for the existence of a unique almost periodic solution of the system.The example shows that the criteria in the paper are new,general and easily verifiable.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider an almost periodic Schoener’s competition model with delays and impulsive effects. Sufficient conditions which guarantee the permanence of the model and the existence of a unique uniformly asymptotically stable positive almost periodic solution are obtained. This paper studies a nonautonomous Lotka-Volterra dispersal systems with infinite time delay which models the diffusion of a single species into n patches by discrete dispersal. Our results show that the system is uniformly persistent under an appropriate condition. The sufficient condition for the global asymptotical stability of the system is also given. By using Mawhin continuation theorem of coincidence degree, we prove that the periodic system has at least one positive periodic solution, further, obtain the uniqueness and globally asymptotical stability for periodic system. By using functional hull theory and directly analyzing the right functional of almost periodic system, we show that the almost periodic system has a unique globally asymptotical stable positive almost periodic solution. We also show that the delays have very important effects on the dynamic behaviors of the system.  相似文献

We investigate leaky integrate-and-fire models (LIF models for short) driven by Stepanov and μ-almost periodic functions. Special attention is paid to the properties of the firing map and its displacement, which give information about the spiking behavior of the considered system. We provide conditions under which such maps are well-defined and are uniformly continuous. We show that the LIF models with Stepanov almost periodic inputs have uniformly almost periodic displacements. We also show that in the case of μ-almost periodic drives it may happen that the displacement map is uniformly continuous, but is not μ-almost periodic (and thus cannot be Stepanov or uniformly almost periodic). By allowing discontinuous inputs, we extend some previous results, showing, for example, that the firing rate for the LIF models with Stepanov almost periodic input exists and is unique. This is a starting point for the investigation of the dynamics of almost-periodically driven integrate-and-fire systems.  相似文献

In generalising a closed graph theorem of Dektjarev [5] we show that each almost closed and uniformly almost continuous relation of a quasi-uniform space to a hypercomplete quasi-uniform space is uniformly continuous. The hypothesis of being almost closed is necessary and actually weaker than the requirement that the relation considered has a closed graph. Since each topological space can be quasi-uniformized, one obtains closed graph theorems for topological spaces.As consequences we get an analogous closed graph theorem for locally uniformly almost continuous relations and a theorem concerning the completeness of the range of each continuous uniformly almost open mapping of a hypercomplete space to a uniform space.Finally we prove a closed graph theorem for relations to locally compact spaces without referring to any quasi-uniformization and thus without assumptions and statements concerning uniformity.  相似文献

We consider discrete one-dimensional Schrödinger operators on the whole line and establish a criterion for continuity of spectral measures with respect to log-Hausdorff measures. We apply this result to operators with Sturmian potentials and thereby prove logarithmic quantum dynamical lower bounds for all coupling constants and almost all rotation numbers, uniformly in the phase.

We introduce a class of eventually almost periodic sequences where some suffix is almost periodic (i.e., uniformly recurrent). The class of generalized almost periodic sequences includes the class of eventually almost periodic sequences, and we prove this inclusion to be strict. We also prove that the class of eventually almost periodic sequences is closed under finite automata mappings and finite transductions. Moreover, we obtain an effective form of this result. In conclusion we consider some algorithmic questions related to the almost periodicity.  相似文献

A delayed three-species predator–prey food-chain model with Michaelis–Menten type functional response is investigated. It is proved that the system is uniformly persistent under some appropriate conditions. We proved earlier that every measurable function on the circle, after a uniformly small perturbation, can be written as a power series (i.e., a series of exponentials with positive frequencies), which converges almost everywhere. Here, we show that this result is basically sharp: the perturbation cannot be made smooth or even Hölder. We also discuss a similar problem for perturbations with lacunary spectrum.  相似文献

Almost transitive superreflexive Banach spaces have been considered in [C. Finet, Uniform convexity properties of norms on superreflexive Banach spaces, Israel J. Math. 53 (1986) 81–92], where it is shown that they are uniformly convex and uniformly smooth. We characterize such spaces as those convex transitive Banach spaces satisfying conditions much weaker than that of uniform convexity (for example, that of having a weakly locally uniformly rotund point). We note that, in general, the property of convex transitivity for a Banach space is weaker than that of almost transitivity.  相似文献
