为了保证激光器在高重复频率运转时的输出能量不下降,采用角锥棱镜作为主动调Q激光器的全反射镜,利用其退偏特性和腔外双通倍频技术,在重复频率为25Hz时,532nm绿光的输出能量比1Hz时上升约6.9%,可满足水下激光主动成像系统对激光光源的要求。  相似文献

研制了一种基于铌酸锂(LN)电光调Q的高重复频率窄脉宽短腔激光器.通过测量激光穿过置于正交偏振镜间的电光晶体后,透射强度随晶体上施加的脉冲高压的变化情况,探究了不同尺寸LN晶体中的压电振铃效应,并与磷酸钛氧铷(RTP)晶体中的压电振铃效应进行了比较.实验发现,块状LN晶体中的压电振铃效应严重,而小尺寸LN晶体中的压电振铃效应和RTP晶体中的相似,基本可以忽略.结合压电效应理论得出,压电振铃效应的强弱与外加电压大小及晶体固有的压电共振频率有关,电压越低,压电共振频率越大,压电振铃效应越弱.在此基础上,制备了可高重频应用的尺寸为1.2mm×9mm×9.4mm的LN调Q开关,并实现了LN晶体的高重频调Q运转.激光增益介质采用具有较大受激发射截面和较短荧光寿命的Nd∶YVO_4晶体,其一端镀有1.064μm的全反膜,另一端沿布儒斯特角切割,从而省去了全反镜和偏振镜,缩短了腔长。泵浦源采用中心波长为808nm的光纤耦合激光二极管.设计的激光器谐振腔长度仅为20mm。在退压式电光调Q运转下,获得了最大重复频率为15kHz、脉宽为5.4ns、峰值功率为2.94kW的稳定的激光输出.  相似文献

为了获得高功率高效率3 m~5 m中红外激光输出,利用双声光调Q晶体,通过高重复频率驱动调Q同步技术和LD侧面泵浦双棒串接技术,获得高功率高光束质量1.06 m激光双端输出,外置起偏器获得4束激光输出,利用波片偏振旋光原理,实现4束偏振态一致的激光输出,泵浦非线性晶体PPLT进行频率变换,实现高功率3 m~5 m中红外激光输出。在电源输入电流30 A、调Q驱动频率10 kHz的条件下,获得最高功率10.6 W的3.9 m中红外激光,1.06 m~3.9 m转化效率为9.5%。实验结果表明:通过双声光调Q技术和LD侧面泵浦双棒串接技术,可以实现4束高重复频率窄脉宽1.06 m偏振激光输出,泵浦PPLT可获得高功率3.9 m中红外激光输出。  相似文献

 建立了精确的激光触发沿面闪络试验系统,用波长1 064/532 nm,调Q开关的Nd:YAG固体激光器来触发绝缘试品的沿面闪络。分别测量了Marx发生器的触发器输入电压和输出电压、Marx发生器的触发脉冲和Marx发生器输出电压、激光器的Q开关控制信号和输出激光脉冲之间的时延和抖动。应用自制的数字脉冲发生器控制Marx发生器的触发器及激光器的氙灯信号触发,用Marx发生器输出电压控制激光器的Q开关;根据所测时延和激光器的控制时序,调整数字脉冲发生器各通道的时延。实验结果显示:Marx输出电压与激光脉冲时延516.1 ns,抖动4.5 ns,达到激光脉冲与脉冲电压的精确同步。  相似文献

为了优化棱镜谐振腔在调Q状态下的运转特性,充分利用琼斯矩阵光学分析棱镜谐振腔的特性,在不同材料棱镜情况下,比较了可变输出耦合率、泡克耳斯盒的消光比以及输出耦合率的调节.得到泡克耳斯盒在四分之一波长电压下能够得到比半波长电压更高的消光比,从而更适合在调Q工作状态下工作.  相似文献

针对宽带超短脉冲的倍频,用光学设计软件设计了10 fs、0.8μm超短脉冲的倍频系统,该系统包括4个棱镜、2个聚焦透镜。宽带倍频系统要求脉冲中所有的波长成份在非线性晶体中均能实现相位匹配,据此选择操作数建立系统评价函数;以非线性光学倍频中的允许角度评价光学系统的质量;分别对基波和谐波的光路优化设计,获得的棱镜尺寸、棱镜间距和透镜焦距等参数能够使脉冲中的各频率成份以相位匹配方向入射到非线性晶体或无空间啁啾的合束。此外,编写宏对光学系统中群延色散进行控制,使基波在晶体中心无啁啾,以获得最佳倍频效果,谐波光路引入一定的群延色散补偿谐波中的啁啾,消除了谐波中的时间啁啾,获得高质量的谐波脉冲。  相似文献

利用可饱和吸收半导体GaAs作为被动调Q元件和FP输出耦合镜,实现了半导体激光器(LD)抽运Nd:YVO4激光调Q运转,获得脉宽度为47ns,重复频率为1183kHz,平均功率为430mW,光束质量为M2=113的TEM00激光基横模输出,调Q抽运阈值为1700mW.并数值求解了含有GaAs被动调Q兼输出耦合的速率方程,分析了GaAs被动调Q机理以及脉宽宽度、重复频率、平均功率随抽运速率、腔长的变化关系,理论与实验结果相一致.为多功能综合型微型调Q固体激光器提供了简单有效的方法. 关键词: 被动调Q 输出耦合 GaAs  相似文献

Noncritically phase-matched (NCPM) fourth harmonic generation (FHG) of Nd:glass laser radiation in partially deuterated dihydrogen phosphate (KD*P) crystals has been demonstrated. At an Nd:glass laser wavelength of 1053.0 nm, NCPM FHG is achieved in 70% deuterated KD*P at a crystal temperature of 18.5±0.1 °C. Tuning the fundamental laser wavelength from 1052.9 to 1053.2 nm, FHG in KD*P is NCPM by changing the crystal temperature from 17.9 °C to 20.5 °C. When driven with 2.4 J of second harmonic radiation in a 3 ns flat-top pulse, corresponding to 1 GW/cm(2) 2ω drive intensity, 1.9 J of fourth harmonic radiation was generated in a 6 mm long KD*P crystal, yielding a second to fourth harmonic energy conversion efficiency of 79%.  相似文献

We experimentally demonstrate a passively Q-switched mode-locking (QML) operation in an Erbium-doped fiber ring laser with net normal dispersion by using nonlinear polarization rotation technique. A 2 m long section of dispersion compensating fiber (DCF) with extra large positive dispersion was inserted into the cavity to ensure the fiber laser working in the region of net positive dispersion. By carefully adjusting the polarization controller, both uniform dissipative mode-locking pulses with fundamental repetition rate and QML pulse trains with tunable repetition rate from 71.58 to 98.83 kHz are achieved. It is found that the QML operation is caused by the interaction between the polarization state of the pulse and the intracavity polarizer.  相似文献

The wavelength-dependent thermal refractive index gives an extra degree of freedom for adjustment of higher-order dispersion of a prismatic pulse compressor. The effect allows of fine tuning of both intracavity and extracavity dispersion of ultra-fast oscillators. The calculations have been carried out using a new and rather handy formalism, which describes the operation of a prism pulse compressor as a linear function of the ratio of the total glass path in the prisms and the prism apex distance. A relatively simple efficient electrooptically Q-switched Er:Cr:YSGG laser oscillator-amplifier system in a line has been demonstrated. A Glan-Taylor prism and a cubic LiNbO3 crystal are used as the polarizer and modulator, respectively. Using the line scheme, one can adjust the system elements easily and achieve a good Q-switched-to-free-running pulse energy ratio of 75% and an energy amplification coefficient of 1.8. As short as 80 ns of the leading edge of a stable single pulse and 132 ns in FWHM with an energy of 24.5 mJ are generated. We also investigate the effects of the pump energy and the delay time on the postlasing, the stable single-pulse operation, the prelasing, the laser buildup time, and the Q-switched pulse width. The laser system demonstrated can be used for the effective ablation of soft and hard tissues.  相似文献

A wavelength-tunable mode-locked quantum dot laser using an In As/Ga As quantum-dot gain medium and a discrete semiconductor saturable absorber mirror is demonstrated.A dispersion prism,which has lower optical loss and less spectral narrowing than a blazed grating,is used for wavelength selection and tuning.A wavelength tuning range of 45.5 nm(from1137.3 nm to 1182.8 nm) under 140-m A injection current in the passive mode-locked regime is achieved.The maximum average power of 19 m W is obtained at the 1170.3-nm wavelength,corresponding to the single pulse energy of 36.5 p J.  相似文献

In this paper, the study of a switchable electro-optic Q-switched Nd:YAlO3 laser emitting 1080 and 1342 nm wavelength was demonstrated. The two-wavelength lasers were eradiated by a Nd:YAlO3 crystal pumped by a xenon lamp. Two KD*P Pockels cells were adopted as Q-switches. The output energy of 277.2 mJ at 1080 nm wavelength with a pulse width of 20 ns and that of 190.67 mJ at 1342 nm wavelength with a pulse width of 40 ns was obtained, respectively, in our experiment. By switching on or off the voltages applied to the Pockels cells, the operation of the two-wavelength lasers can be selected in free running mode or Q-switching mode.  相似文献

介绍了二极管激光侧泵浦单横模100Hz电光调Q激光器的实验结果。泵浦源为一个线阵准连续100W二极管激光器,激光工作介质为NdYAG薄梯形板条,板条与泵浦源间用柱透镜耦合,KD*P电光晶体调Q。在100Hz重复频率下,获得单脉冲能量2.37mJ,脉宽小于7ns,光束质量因子M2=1.1的1.06μm激光,光-光效率为8.5%,斜效率为18.7%。  相似文献

We demonstrate self-starting 6.5-fs pulses from a Kerr-lens mode-locked Ti:sapphire laser with 200-mW average output power at a pulse repetition rate of ~86 M Hz. This is to our knowledge the shortest pulse ever generated directly from a laser. For dispersion compensation we used a prism pair in combination with double-chirped mirrors, which balances the higher-order dispersion of the prism pair and therefore flattens the average total group-delay dispersion in the laser cavity. For self-starting mode locking we used a broadband semiconductor saturable-absorber mirror.  相似文献
