The number N of rational points on an algebraic curve of genus g over a finite field satisfies the Hasse–Weil bound . A curve that attains this bound is called maximal. With and , it is known that maximalcurves have . Maximal curves with have been characterized up to isomorphism. A natural genus to be studied is and for this genus there are two non-isomorphic maximal curves known when . Here, a maximal curve with genus g 2 and a non-singular plane model is characterized as a Fermat curve of degree .  相似文献

Let and be groups and let be an extension of by . Given a property of group compactifications, one can ask whether there exist compactifications and of N and K such that the universal -compactification of G is canonically isomorphic to an extension of by . We prove a theorem which gives necessary and sufficient conditions for this to occur for general properties and then apply this result to the almost periodic and weakly almost periodic compactifications of G.  相似文献

One-to-one correspondences are established between the set ofall nondegenerate graded Jacobi operators of degree -1 defined onthe graded algebra of differential forms on a smooth, oriented,Riemannian manifold M, the space of bundle isomorphisms , and the space of nondegenerate derivations of degree 1 havingnull square. Derivations with this property, andJacobi structures of odd -degree are also studied throughthe action of the automorphism group of .  相似文献

If E is an elliptic curve over , then let E(D) denote theD-quadratic twist of E. It is conjectured that there are infinitely many primesp for which E(p) has rank 0, and that there are infinitely many primes for which has positive rank. For some special curvesE we show that there is a set S of primes p with density for which if is a squarefree integer where , then E(D) has rank 0. In particular E(p) has rank 0 for every . As an example let E1 denote the curve .Then its associated set of primes S1 consists of the prime11 and the primes p for which the order of the reduction ofX0(11) modulo p is odd. To obtain the general result we show for primes that the rational factor of L(E(p),1) is nonzero which implies thatE(p) has rank 0. These special values are related to surjective Galois representations that are attached to modularforms. Another example of this result is given, and we conclude with someremarks regarding the existence of positive rank prime twists via polynomialidentities.  相似文献

Let be a class of all groups G for which the normal closure (x) G of every element x belongs to a class . is a Levi class generated by . Let and 0 be classes of finitely generated nilpotent groups and of torsion-free, finitely generated, nilpotent groups, respectively. We prove that and , and so and . It is shown that quasivarieties and are closed under free products, and that each contains at most one maximal proper subquasivariety. In the canonical smooth fiber bundles : n+1 n endowed with the metric tensor fields of relevant structure, we consider natural representations of the Galilean groups and construct -invariant generalizations of differentiable connections. In both regular and special cases of the representations of the relevant groups , we found all the affine nonholonomic 1-, 2-, and 1, 2-connections of the first order (see [4]) possessing the local Lie groups of transformations and also described the respective -invariant planar connections.  相似文献

For a domain of we introduce a fairly general and intrinsic condition of weak q-pseudoconvexity, and prove, in Theorem 4, solvability of the -complex for forms with -coefficients in degree . All domains whose boundary have a constant number of negative Levi eigenvalues are easily recognized to fulfill our condition of q-pseudoconvexity; thus we regain the result of Michel (with a simplified proof). Our method deeply relies on the L 2-estimates by Hörmander (with some variants). The main point of our proof is that our estimates (both in weightened-L 2 and in Sobolev norms) are sufficiently accurate to permit us to exploit the technique by Dufresnoy for regularity up to the boundary.  相似文献

We introduce the notion of hyper-self-duality for Bose-Mesner algebras as a strengthening of formal self-duality. Let denote a Bose-Mesner algebra on a finite nonempty set X. Fix p X, and let and denote respectively the dual Bose-Mesner algebra and the Terwilliger algebra of with respect to p. By a hyper-duality of , we mean an automorphism of such that for all ; and is a duality of . is said to be hyper-self-dual whenever there exists a hyper-duality of . We say that is strongly hyper-self-dual whenever there exists a hyper-duality of which can be expressed as conjugation by an invertible element of . We show that Bose-Mesner algebras which support a spin model are strongly hyper-self-dual, and we characterize strong hyper-self-duality via the module structure of the associated Terwilliger algebra.  相似文献

Let X be a complex analytic manifold, a C 2 submanifold, an openset with C 2 boundary .Denote by (resp. ) the microlocalization along M (resp. ) of the sheaf of holomorphic functions. In the literature (cf. [A-G], [K-S 1,2])one encounters two classical results concerning the vanishing of the cohomology groups .The most general gives the vanishing outside a range of indices j whose length is equal to (with being the number of respectively positive, negative and null eigenvalues for themicrolocal Levi form ).The sharpest result gives the concentration in a single degree, provided that the difference is locally constant for near p (with for z the base point of p).The first result was restated for the complex in [D'A-Z 2], in the case codim We extend it here to any codimension and moreover we also restate for the second vanishing theorem. We also point out that the principle of our proof, related to a criterion for constancy of sheaves due to [K-S 1], is a quite new one.  相似文献

Let be a partially ordered set, Int the system of all (nonempty) intervals of partially ordered by the set-theoretical inclusion . We are interested in partially ordered sets with Int isomorphic to Int . We are going to show that they correspond to couples of binary relations on A satisfying some conditions. If is a directed partially ordered set, the only with Int isomorphic to Int are corresponding to direct decompositions of ( denotes the dual of . The present results include those presented in the paper [11] by V. Slavík. Systems of intervals, particularly of lattices, have been investigated by many authors, cf. [1]–[11].  相似文献

Starting from the commutation relations in a complex semisimple Lie algebra , one may obtain a space of vector fields on Euclidean space such that and are isomorphic when is equipped with the usual Lie bracket between vector fields and the isotropy subalgebra of is a Borel subalgebra . Furthermore, one may adjoin to the vector fields in multiplication operators to obtain an -parameter family of distinct presentations of as spaces of differential operators, where is the dual of a Cartan subalgebra. Some of these presentations will preserve a space of polynomials on Euclidean space, and, in fact, all the finite-dimensional representations of can be presented in this way. All of this is carried out explicitly for arbitrary . In doing so, one discovers there is a Lie group of diffeomorphisms of the unipotent subgroup N complementary to B which acts on these presentations and preserves a certain notion of weight.  相似文献

We consider the function , where is the conformal radius of a simply connected domain D at a point . We study relations between the values of the function at various points of the domain D. In Sec. 1, we establish exact inequalities relating the values of the function in an arbitrary simply connected domain with the position of the conformal center and with the maximal conformal radius of the domain D. The same values are related to the values of at another two points of the domain D. In Sec. 2, similar results are established for convex domains. This work supplements some recent results of Emel'yanov and Kovalev. Bibliography: 9 titles.  相似文献

Let R be a homogeneous ring over an infinite field, IR a homogeneous ideal, and I an ideal generated by s forms of degrees d 1,...,d s so that codim( :I)s. We give broad conditions for when the Hilbert function of R/ or of R/( :I) is determined by I and the degrees d 1,...,d s . These conditions are expressed in terms of residual intersections of I, culminating in the notion of residually S 2 ideals. We prove that the residually S 2 property is implied by the vanishing of certain Ext modules and deduce that generic projections tend to produce ideals with this property.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the family of algebraic K3 surfaces generated by the smooth intersection of a (1, 1) form and a (2, 2) form in defined over and with Picard number 3. We describe the group of automorphisms on V. For an ample divisor D and an arbitrary curve C 0 on V, we investigate the asymptotic behavior of the quantity . We show that the limit
