9,9-二[4-(4-羧基苯氧基)苯基]呫吨的合成

在碘化亚铜、四丁基溴化铵和磷酸钾存在下,9,9-二(4-羟基苯基)呫吨(1)和4-甲基碘苯(2)于N,N-二甲基甲酰胺溶剂中发生Ullmann偶联反应,加热回流反应24 h,以95%的产率合成了中间体--9,9-二[4-(4-甲基苯氧基)苯基]呫吨(3),继而加入催化量的N-溴代丁二酰亚胺并在光照条件下,将中间体3氧化得到一种新型芳香族二羧酸--9,9-二[4-(4-羧基苯氧基)苯基]呫吨(4),其产率为84%,二步反应总收率为79.8%。 目标化合物4经1H NMR、13C NMR、IR和元素分析测试技术确定了其结构。 该法具有原料易得,操作简单,反应条件温和,收率高等优点。     

Novel H2 activation by a tris[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]borane frustrated Lewis pair

Tris[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]borane (1, BArF(18)), has been synthesised on a practical scale for the first time. According to the Gutmann-Beckett method it is a more powerful Lewis acid than B(C(6)F(5))(3). It forms a 'frustrated Lewis pair' with 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine which cleaves H(2) to form a salt containing the novel anion [μ-H(BArF(18))(2)](-).     

1-(2-Quinoxalyl)-, 1-[3,5-Di(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-, 1-(2-Carboxyphenyl)-, and 1-Ethoxycarbonyl-4-oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindazoles

The corresponding 1-(2-quinoxalyl)-, 1-[3,5-di(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-, and 1-ethoxycarbonyl-3-methyl-4-oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindazoles have been obtained from reactions of 2-acetyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione, its 5,5-dimethyl and 5-(2-furyl) derivatives, with 2-hydrazinoquinoxaline, 3,5-di(trifluoromethyl)phenylhydrazine, and ethoxycarbonylhydrazine. On interaction with ethoxycarbonylhydrazine the intermediate 2-[1-(-ethoxycarbonyl)hydrazino]ethylidene-1,3-cyclohexanediones were also isolated. From the potassium salt of 2-formyldimedone and 2-carboxyphenylhydrazine hydrochloride, 2-(2-carboxyphenyl)hydrazinomethylene-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione was obtained, the cyclization of which in ethanol in the presence of HCl led to 1-(2-carboxyphenyl)- and 1-(2-ethoxycarbonylphenyl)-6,6-dimethyl-4-oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindazole.     

Microbial and homogenous asymmetric catalysis in the reduction of 1-[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]ethanone

Two complementary approaches for the enantioselective reduction of 1-[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]ethanone 1 are described and compared: microbial versus asymmetric reduction of ketones through asymmetric hydrogen transfer. Among the various microorganisms screened, Lactobacillus kefir and Aspergillus niger reduced ketone 1 to the corresponding (R)-alcohol (R)-2. The (S)-alcohol (S)-2 was obtained by reduction of 1 using homogenous asymmetric catalysis. The configuration of the alcohol in both the biocatalysis and hydrogen transfer approaches was controlled by the choice of the enzyme and by the configuration of ligands, respectively. Both enantiomers were obtained in high yield and ee.     

Synthesis of diethoxymethyl[m-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]silane and triethoxy[m-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]silane

Summary Diethoxymethy][m-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]silane and triethoxy[m-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]silane were synthesized.     

4-[3,5-Bis(2-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl]- benzoic Acid: A Novel Efficient and Selective Iron(III) Complexing Agent

An exceptionally stable 1:2 complex [FeL₂]³⁻ is formed from the ligand H₃L and Fe^III. In contrast, the affinity of this ligand for other biometals is relatively small. These properties make H₃L a highly promising candidate for medical applications (e.g. for the treatment of iron overload).     

Synthesis and Single Crystal X-ray Studies of 3-(3,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl) Quinoline and 3-(4-Fluoro-3-methylphenyl) Quinoline

The title compounds 3-(3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)quinoline(1) and 3-(4-fluoro-3-methylphenyl)quinoline(2) were synthesized through Suzuki-Miyaura Cross coupling reaction of 3-bromoquinoloine with aryl boronic acids.The title compounds were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,1H NMR,13C NMR,EI-MS,elemental analysis and IR.The crystals of 3-(3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)quinoline(C17H9F6N,Mr = 341.25) belongs to the monoclinic system,space group P21n,a = 12.3072(13),b = 4.9378(6),c = 24.493(2) ,V = 1473.1(3) 3,Z = 4,Dc = 1.539 Mg m-3,λ = 0.71073 ,μ = 0.144 mm-1,F(000) = 688,the final R = 0.0715 and wR = 0.1873 for 1875 observed reflections with I 2σ(I) and the crystal of 3-(4-fluoro-3-methylphenyl)quinoline(C16H12FN,Mr = 237.27) belongs to the orthorhombic system,space group Pca21,a = 23.794(2),b = 3.9094(3),c = 25.669(2) ,V = 2387.7(4) 3,Z = 8,Dc = 1.320 Mg m-3,λ = 0.71073 ,μ = 0.088 mm-1,F(000) = 992,the final R = 0.0534 and wR = 0.1188 for 2270 observed reflections with I 2σ(I).
