New filtering scheme is investigated and implemented on Lau interferometric fringes to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in the Lau interferograms. Towards this, the applicability of Haar, Daubechies and Symlet wavelet based filtering schemes have been tested. Of these schemes, the Symlet based filtering scheme gives the best results in terms of improved signal to noise ratio and speckle index. This scheme is then used to analyse Lau interferograms recorded in the experimental arrangement for focal length measurement. The processed interferograms yield improved accuracy and precision of measurement.  相似文献

In this paper, a non-contact optical system, a low-coherence interferometer (LCI), is introduced for the purpose of measuring the surface roughness of turbine blades. The designed system not only possesses a high vertical resolution and is able to acquire the roughness topography, but also it has a large vertical scanning range compared to other commonly used optical systems. The latter characteristic allows us to measure turbine blades surfaces with large curvature without collisions between the lens and the measurement object. After obtaining the surface topography, wavelet analysis is applied to decompose the original surface into multiple bandwidths to conduct a multiscale analysis. The results show that the developed LCI system proofs a good performance not only in obtaining the surface topography in the roughness scale but also in being able to measure surfaces of objects that possess a complex geometry in a large vertical range. Furthermore, the applied biorthogonal wavelet in this study has performed good amplitude and phase properties in extracting the roughness microstructures from the whole surface. Finally, the traditional roughness parameters, such as the mean surface roughness Sa and the Root Mean Square (RMS) roughness Sq, are evaluated in each decomposed subband and their correlations with the scale of each subband are analyzed.  相似文献

A new daughter wavelet definition for reliability-guided phase unwrapping of the optical fringe pattern is introduced. The new daughter wavelet definition is given by normalized mother wavelet with a new factor including a Gaussian function. The modulus of the wavelet transform coefficients, obtained by using daughter wavelet under this new daughter wavelet definition, includes not only modulation information but also local frequency information of the deformed fringe pattern. Therefore, it can be treated as a good parameter which represents the reliability of the reconstructed phase data. Mathematical demonstration of this parameter is given. Both the computer simulation and experiment reveal the validity of the proposed method.  相似文献

A novel two-dimensional (2D) Gabor continuous wavelet transform (CWT) for phase retrieval and fringe filtering of speckle fringe patterns with spatial carriers is proposed. Theoretical analysis of 2D Gabor CWT is presented and results are compared with advanced fan 2D CWT using both the computer simulated and experimental speckle fringe patterns. It is shown that noise reduction by 2D Gabor CWT demonstrates better results than that of the advanced fan 2D CWT. Two-dimensional Gabor CWT is also compared with 2D Fourier transform and results show that 2D Gabor CWT algorithm has better noise immunity.  相似文献

We have experimentally demonstrated vibration analysis of a reflecting object in time-average mode using shearing interferometry and interferometric grating. Experimental results show that time-average moiré fringes, formed between fringe pattern reflected from object and sinusoidal grating are modulated spatially by the amplitude of vibrating tilt. From the experimental results, information regarding tilt of vibrating objects can be determined.  相似文献

This paper describes a holographic system based on the use of fibre optics and automatic spatial carrier fringe pattern analysis. Carrier fringes are generated by simply translating the object beam between two exposures. Single-mode optical fibres are used to transfer both the object and reference beams. The fast Fourier transform method is used to process the interferograms: it extracts phase from fringe patterns resulting from the interference of tilted wavefronts. The method is illustrated by measuring the deformation of an arbitrarily clamped, uniformly loaded circular plate. The results are given for the perspective plot of the out-of-plane deformation field, the maps of wrapped and unwrapped phase, and a contour map of the unwrapped phase.  相似文献

An algorithm is presented here to get more detailed information, of mixed-culture type, based exclusively on the biomass concentration data for fermentation processes. The analysis is performed with only the on-line measurements of the redox potential being available. It is a two-step procedure which includes an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) that relates the redox potential to the biomass concentrations in the first step. Next, a multifractal wavelet analysis is performed using the biomass estimates of the process. In this context, our results show that the redox potential is a valuable indicator of microorganism metabolic activity during the spontaneous fermentation. In this paper, the detailed design of the multifractal wavelet analysis is presented, as well as its direct experimental application at the laboratory level.  相似文献

根据统计光学建立了干涉成像系统信噪比的理论模型,数值分析了干涉成像系统信噪比与系统参数之间的关系。分析结果表明:为了提高系统的信噪比,应提高信号光场强度与噪声光场强度之比,使参考光和测试光光强接近相等,降低系统中光学元件的数量和每个元件的偏差,使光源相干长度约为测试光和参考光间光程差的2~5倍。要使信噪比大于10,则要求系统中光学元件总偏差的标准差小于1/4波长。信噪比的统计理论模型可为干涉成像系统设计和干涉测量提供理论指导。  相似文献

为了解决在数字散斑干涉技术测量时,散斑干涉相位条纹图像中大量噪声对相位解包裹结果和精度产生严重影响的问题,介绍了一种条纹正余弦分解和频域低通滤波结合的方法,实现了散斑干涉相位条纹图的高精度滤波。该方法的基本思路是在对相位图像进行滤波处理前,先将相位图通过正余弦函数进行映射转换成两幅图,分别经过频域滤波,然后再合成为相位图。这种分解频域滤波方法可以在滤波的同时,有效保留相位跳变信息。实验结果表明:与传统的图像降噪方法相比,该方法能够在保留图像“尖峰”信息的基础上,较好地滤除图像中的散斑噪声,方法简单有效,有效解决了传统滤波方法应用在相位条纹图中,相图灰度信息丢失10%~40%的问题。  相似文献

A Fourier transform method of holographic fringe pattern analysis is applied to measure surface residual deformations generated by a pulsed ion implanter. The technique uses a fixture that makes it possible to remove the specimen and put it back into the same position after being implanted. The phase information from interferograms extracted by means of the Fourier transform method is unwrapped using an algorithm based on cellular automata. Results computed from the application of a numerical model are compared with those determined experimentally and a reasonable agreement is obtained.  相似文献

The improved low-pass filters proposed in the paper can be used effectively for filtering processing of digital speckle interference fringes obtained in digital speckle pattern interferometry.  针对标准中值滤波方法存在的不足,结合均值思想提出两种改进的中值滤波算法,即加权快速中值滤波算法和加权自适应中值滤波算法,MATLAB实验证实两种方法均能更好地保存原始图像的细节和边缘。比较两种新方法得出以下结论:加权改进中值滤波算法对低密度的脉冲噪声去噪效果明显,对于高密度脉冲噪声去噪效果不理想,但能大大提高中值滤波的运行速度,对数字图像实时处理意义很大;加权自适应中值滤波算法能够有效地消除被污染图像中的高密度脉冲噪声,较标准中值滤波具有更优良的滤波性能,较加权快速中值滤波算法在去噪方面有更好的鲁棒性。  相似文献

Partial differential equations (PDEs) based methods have been demonstrated to be a powerful tool for filtering in electronic speckle pattern interferometry fringe or wrapped phase patterns. In this paper, we derive the new fourth-order partial differential equations (NFOPDE) with a better performance for filtering in electronic speckle pattern interferometry fringe patterns based on the variational methods. We test the proposed models on two computer-simulated speckle fringe patterns and an experimentally obtained fringe pattern, respectively, and compare our models with the widely used, well-known the second-order selective degenerate diffusion PDE model (SOSDPDE) and the published fourth-order PDE model (PFOPDE). The proposed NFOPDE can overcome the shortages that both the SOSDPDE and PFOPDE encounter. In all cases, our NFOPDE outperforms SOSDPDE and PFOPDE.  相似文献
