Our main technical tool is a principally new property of compact narrow operators which works for a domain space without an absolutely continuous norm. It is proved that for every Köthe F-space X and for every locally convex F-space Y   the sum T1+T2T1+T2 of a narrow operator T1:X→YT1:XY and a compact narrow operator T2:X→YT2:XY is a narrow operator. This gives a positive answers to questions asked by M. Popov and B. Randrianantoanina [6, Problems 5.6 and 11.63].  相似文献

In this note we study the limit behavior of the iterates of a large class of positive linear operators preserving the affine functions and, as a byproduct of our result, we obtain the limit of the iterates of Meyer-König and Zeller operators.  相似文献

We investigate the properties of bounded operators which satisfy a certain spectral additivity condition, and use our results to study Lie and Jordan algebras of compact operators. We prove that these algebras have nontrivial invariant subspaces when their elements have sublinear or submultiplicative spectrum, and when they satisfy simple trace conditions. In certain cases we show that these conditions imply that the algebra is (simultaneously) triangularizable.  相似文献

In the paper, upper and lower bounds for the regularized determinants of infinite order operators are derived. A limit theorem is established for a finite sum of finite products of Toeplitz operators on the Hardy space of the polydisk. The present paper deals with a new positive linear operator which gives a connection between the Bernstein operators and their genuine Bernstein‐Durrmeyer variants. These new operators depend on a certain function τ defined on [0,1] and improve the classical results in some particular cases. Some approximation properties of the new operators in terms of first and second modulus of continuity and the Ditzian‐Totik modulus of smoothness are studied. Quantitative Voronovskaja–type theorems and Grüss‐Voronovskaja–type theorems constitute a great deal of interest of the present work. We obtain exhaustive results and treat in a unified way the question of boundedness, compactness, and weak compactness of composition operators from the Bloch space into any space from a large family of conformally invariant spaces that includes the classical spaces like BMOA  , QαQα, and analytic Besov spaces BpBp. In particular, by combining techniques from both complex and functional analysis, we prove that in this setting weak compactness is equivalent to compactness. For the operators into the corresponding “small” spaces we also characterize the boundedness and show that it is equivalent to compactness.  相似文献

In this paper, we find sufficient and necessary conditions for a triangularizable closed algebra of polynomially compact operators to be commutative modulo the radical. We also prove that an algebraic algebra of operators of a bounded degree on a Banach space is triangularizable under some mild additional conditions. We define topologies on the space of bounded linear operators fromX into AP(S) and obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions for an operatorT to be compact or weakly compact in terms of the uniform continuity of the mapsT 5. IfS is a Hausdorff topological semigroup, we also obtain characterizations of compact and weakly compact multipliers on AP(S) in terms of the uniform continuity of the map S→μs, where μs denotes the unique vector measure corresponding to the operatorT 5.  相似文献
