The reactivity of amidinato complexes of molybdenum and tungsten bearing pyridine as a labile ligand, [M(eta(3)-allyl)(eta(2)-amidinato)(CO)(2)(pyridine)](M = Mo; 1-Mo, M = W; 1-W), toward bidentate ligands such as 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) and 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe) was investigated. The reaction of 1 with phen at ambient temperature resulted in the formation of monodentate amidinato complexes, [M(eta(3)-allyl)(eta(1)-amidinato)(CO)(2)(eta(2)-phen)](M = Mo; 2-Mo, M = W; 2-W), which has pseudo-octahedral geometry with the amidinato ligand coordinated to the metal in an eta(1)-fashion. The phen ligand was located coplanar with two CO ligands and the eta(1)-amidinato ligand was positioned trans to the eta(3)-allyl ligand. In solution, both complexes 2-Mo and 2-W showed fluxionality, and complex 2-Mo afforded allylamidine (3) on heating in solution. In the reaction of 1 with dppe at ambient temperature, the simple substitution reaction took place to give dppe-bridged binuclear complexes [{M(eta(3)-allyl)(eta(2)-amidinato)(CO)(2)}(2)(mu-dppe)](M = Mo; 5-Mo, M = W; 5-W), whereas mononuclear monocarbonyl complexes [M(eta(3)-allyl)(eta(2)-amidinato)(CO)(eta(2)-dppe)](M = Mo; 6-Mo, M = W; 6-W) were obtained under acetonitrile- or toluene-refluxing conditions. Mononuclear complex 6 was also obtained by the reaction of binuclear complex 5 with 0.5 equivalents of dppe under refluxing in acetonitrile or in toluene. The X-ray analyses and variable-temperature (31)P NMR spectroscopy of complex 6 indicated the existence of the rotational isomers of the eta(3)-allyl ligand, i.e., endo and exo forms, with respect to the carbonyl ligand. The different reactivity of complex 1 toward phen and dppe seems to have come from the difference in the pi-acceptability of each bidentate ligand.  相似文献

Ethylenediamine (en) solutions of [eta(4)-P(7)M(CO)(3)](3)(-) ions [M = W (1a), Mo (1b)] react under one atmosphere of CO to form microcrystalline yellow powders of [eta(2)-P(7)M(CO)(4)](3)(-) complexes [M = W (4a), Mo (4b)]. Compounds 4 are unstable, losing CO to re-form 1, but are highly nucleophilic and basic. They are protonated with methanol in en solvent giving [eta(2)-HP(7)M(CO)(4)](2)(-) ions (5) and are alkylated with R(4)N(+) salts in en solutions to give [eta(2)-RP(7)M(CO)(4)](2)(-) complexes (6) in good yields (R = alkyl). Compounds 5 and 6 can also be prepared by carbonylations of the [eta(4)-HP(7)M(CO)(3)](2)(-) (3) and [eta(4)-RP(7)M(CO)(3)](2)(-) (2) precursors, respectively. The carbonylations of 1-3 to form 4-6 require a change from eta(4)- to eta(2)-coordination of the P(7) cages in order to maintain 18-electron configurations at the metal centers. Comparative protonation/deprotonation studies show 4 to be more basic than 1. The compounds were characterized by IR and (1)H, (13)C, and (31)P NMR spectroscopic studies and microanalysis where appropriate. The [K(2,2,2-crypt)](+) salts of 5 were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. For 5, the M-P bonds are very long (2.71(1) ?, average). The P(7)(3)(-) cages of 5 are not displaced by dppe. The P(7) cages in 4-6 have nortricyclane-like structures in contrast to the norbornadiene-type geometries observed for 1-3. (31)P NMR spectroscopic studies for 5-6 show C(1) symmetry in solution (seven inequivalent phosphorus nuclei), consistent with the structural studies for 5, and C(s)() symmetry for 4 (five phosphorus nuclei in a 2:2:1:1:1 ratio). Crystallographic data for [K(2,2,2-crypt)](2)[eta(2)-HP(7)W(CO)(4)].en: monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 23.067(20) ?, b = 12.6931(13) ?, c = 21.433(2) ?, beta = 90.758(7) degrees, V = 6274.9(10) ?(3), Z = 4, R(F) = 0.0573, R(w)(F(2)) = 0.1409. The two clusters [8,8-(eta(2)-dppm)-8-(eta(1)-dppm)-nido-8,7-RhSB(9)H(10)] (1) and [9,9-(eta(2)-dppm)-9-(eta(1)-dppm)-nido-9,7,8-RhC(2)B(8)H(11)] (2) (dppm = PPh(2)CH(2)PPh(2)), both of which contain pendant PPh(2) groups, react with BH(3).thf to afford the species [8,8-eta(2)-(eta(2)-(BH(3)).dppm)-nido-8,7-RhSB(9)H(10)] (3) and [9,9-eta(2)-(eta(2)-(BH(3)).dppm))-nido-9,7,8-RhC(2)B(8)H(11)] (4), respectively. These two species are very similar in that they both contain the bidentate ligand [(BH(3)).dppm], which coordinates to the Rh center via a PPh(2) group and also via a eta(2)-BH(3) group. Thus, the B atom in the BH(3) group is four-coordinate, bonded to Rh by two bridging hydrogen atoms, to a terminal H atom, and to a PPh(2) group. At room temperature, the BH(3) group is fluxional; the two bridging H atoms and the terminal H atom are equivalent on the NMR time scale. The motion is arrested at low temperature with DeltaG++ = ca. 37 and 42 kJ mol(-1), respectively, for 3 and 4. Both species are characterized completely by NMR and mass spectral measurements as well as by elemental analysis and single-crystal structure determinations.  相似文献

Reaction of 3 equiv of 2,6-diisopropylaniline with La[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3) produces the dimeric species La(2)(NHAr)(6) (1). X-ray crystallography reveals a centrosymmetric structure, where the dimeric unit is bridged by intermolecular eta(6)-arene interactions of a unique arylamide ligand attached to an adjacent metal center. Exposure of 1 to THF results in formation of the monomeric tris-THF adduct La(NHAr)(3)(THF)(3) (2), which was shown by X-ray crystallography to maintain a fac-octahedral structure in the solid state. (1)H NMR spectroscopy illustrates that the binding of THF to 1 to form 2 is reversible and removal of THF under vacuum regenerates dimeric 1. Addition of pyridine to 1 yields the monomeric bis-pyridine adduct La(NHAr)(3)(py)(2) (3), which exhibits a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal La metal center. Solution (1)H NMR, IR, and Raman spectroscopy indicate that the pi-arene-bridged dimeric structure of 1 is maintained in solution. Variable-temperature (1)H NMR spectroscopic investigations of 1 are consistent with a monomer-dimer equilibrium at elevated temperature. In contrast, variable-temperature (1)H NMR spectroscopic investigations of the aryloxide analogue La(2)(OAr)(6) (4) show that the bridging and terminal aryloxide groups exchange by a mechanism in which the dimeric nature of the compound is retained. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were carried out on model compounds La(2)(OC(6)H(5))(6), La(2)(NHC(6)H(5))(6), and (C(6)H(5)R)La(XC(6)H(5))(3), where X = O or NH and R = H, OH, or NH(2). The formation of eta(6)-arene interactions is energetically favored over monomeric LaX(3) (X = OPh or NHPh) with the aryloxide pi-arene interaction being stronger than the arylamide pi-arene interaction. Calculation of vibrational frequencies reveals the origin of the observed IR spectral behavior of both La(2)(OC(6)H(5))(6) and La(2)(NHC(6)H(5))(6), with the higher energy nu(C=C) stretch due to terminal ligands and the lower energy stretch associated with the bridging ligands.  相似文献

When peroxotetramolybdophosphate, [(n-C4H9)4N]3[PO4[Mo2O2(mu-O2)2(O2)2]2], denoted (NBu4)3PMo4, and its tungsten(VI) analogue, (NBu4)3PW4, are mixed in acetonitrile at room temperature, redistribution occurs with the formation of three mixed-addenda species [PO4[Mo4-xWxO20]]3- (x = 1-3). The temperature dependence of the phosphorus-31 NMR spectra of a 1 1 mixture and of the pure salts, (NBu4)3PMo4 or (NBu4)3PW4, shows that [MO(O2)2] species are in chemical exchange, as are the [MOp] units of certain heteropolyacids (e.g. H3[PMo12O40] x aq and H3[PW12O40] x aq). However, there is no chemical exchange between free phosphate and [MO(O2)2] species in these systems; but there is fluxional behaviour involving PMo2W2, PMo4 and PW4. This is attributed to the rapid equilibrium between isomers (PMo2W2) and to equilibrium between anionic structures with tridentate (mu-eta2:eta1-O22-) and bidentate (eta2-O22-) modes of coordination for the two peroxo groups of the [M2O2(mu-O2)2(O2)2] moieties.  相似文献

Mo(PMe(3))(6) and W(PMe(3))(4)(eta(2)-CH(2)PMe(2))H undergo oxidative addition of the O-H bond of RCO(2)H to yield sequentially M(PMe(3))(4)(eta(2)-O(2)CR)H and M(PMe(3))(3)(eta(2)-O(2)CR)(eta(1)-O(2)CR)H(2) (M = Mo and R = Ph, Bu(t); M = W and R = Bu(t)). One of the oxygen donors of the bidentate carboxylate ligand may be displaced by H(2)O to give rare examples of aqua-dihydride complexes, M(PMe(3))(3)(eta(1)-O(2)CR)(2)(OH(2))H(2), in which the coordinated water molecule is hydrogen-bonded to both carboxylate ligands.  相似文献

The hetero-metal clusters [h5-C5H4C(O)CH2CH2C(O)OCH3]FeCoM(m3-S)(CO)8 (M = Mo 1, M = W 2) were prepared by thermal reactions of FeCo2(CO)9(m3-S) with metal exchange reagent [h5-C5H4C(O)CH2CH2C(O)OCH3]M(CO)3Na (M = Mo or W) in THF. Cluster 1 reacted with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine at room temperature to yield the cluster hydrazone derivative (m3-S)CoFeMo(CO)8[h5-C5H4C(NR)Me] [R = NHC6H3-2,4-(NO2)2] 3. Reaction of the side-on end-on dinitrogen complex [{(NPN)Ta}(2)(mu-H)(2)(mu-eta(1):eta(2)-N(2))] (1; in which NPN=(PhNSiMe(2)CH(2))(2)PPh), with the Lewis acids XR(3) results in the adducts [{(NPN)Ta}(2)(mu-H)(2)(mu-eta(1):eta(2)-NNXR(3))], XR(3)=GaMe(3) (2), AlMe(3) (3), and B(C(6)F(5))(3) (4). The solid-state molecular structures of 2, 3, and 4 demonstrate that the N-N bond length increases relative to those found in 1 by 0.036, 0.043, and 0.073 A, respectively. In solution complexes 2-4 are fluxional as evidenced by variable-temperature (1)H NMR spectroscopy. The (15)N{(1)H} NMR spectra of 2-4 are reported; furthermore, their vibrational properties and electronic structures are evaluated. The vibrational structures are found to be closely related to that of the parent complex 1. Detailed spectroscopic analysis on 2-4 leads to the identification of the theoretically expected six normal modes of the Ta(2)N(2) core. On the basis of experimental frequencies and the QCB-NCA procedure, the force constants are determined. Importantly, the N-N force constant decreases from 2.430 mdyn A(-1) in 1 to 1.876 (2), 1.729 (3), and 1.515 mdyn A(-1) (4), in line with the sequence of N-N bond lengths determined crystallographically. DFT calculations on a generic model of the Lewis acid adducts 2-4 reveal that the major donor interaction between the terminal nitrogen atom and the Lewis acid is mediated by a sigma/pi hybrid molecular orbital of N(2), corresponding to a sigma bond. Charge analysis performed for the adducts indicates that the negative charge on the terminal nitrogen atom of the dinitrogen ligand increases with respect to 1. The lengthening of the N-N bond observed for the Lewis adducts is therefore explained by the fact that charge donation from the complex fragment into the pi* orbitals of dinitrogen is increased, while electron density from the N-N bonding orbitals p(sigma) and pi(h) is withdrawn due to the sigma interaction with the Lewis acid.  相似文献

The ammonium salt of the 1:1complex (1) of Ce(III) with alpha(1)-[P(2)W(17)O(61)](10)(-) was prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, vibrational and NMR spectroscopy ((31)P, (183)W), cyclic voltammetry, and single-crystal X-ray analysis (P1; a = 15.8523(9) A, b = 17.4382(10) A, c = 29.3322(16) A, alpha = 99.617(1) degrees, beta = 105.450 (1) degrees, gamma = 101.132(1) degrees, V = 7460.9(7) A(3), Z = 2). The anion consists of a centrosymmetric head-to-head dimer, [[Ce(H(2)O)(4)(P(2)W(17)O(61))](2)],(14-) with each 9-coordinate Ce cation linked to four oxygens of one tungstophosphate anion and to one oxygen of the other anion. On the basis of P NMR spectroscopy, a monomer-dimer equilibrium exists in solution with K = 20 +/- 4 M(-1) at 22 degrees C. Addition of chiral amino acids to aqueous solutions of 1 results in splitting of the (31)P NMR signals as a result of diastereomer formation. No such splitting is observed with glycine or DL-proline, or when chiral amino acids are added to the corresponding complex of the achiral alpha(2)-isomer of [P(2)W(17)O(61)](10)(-). From analysis of the (31)P NMR spectra, formation constants of the two diastereomeric adducts of 1 with L-proline are 7.3 +/- 1.3 and 9.8 +/- 1.4 M(-1).  相似文献

The rhodium and iridium Lewis-acid cations [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))M{(R)-Prophos}(H(2)O)](2+) ((R)-Prophos = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane) efficiently catalyze the enantioselective 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of nitrones to methacrolein. Reactions occur with perfect endo selectivity and with enantiomeric excesses up to 96%. Intermediates [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))M{(R)-Prophos}(methacrolein)](SbF(6))(2) (M = Rh (3), Ir (4)) have been spectroscopically and crystallographically characterized. The nitrone complexes [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))M{(R)-Prophos}(nitrone)](SbF(6))(2) (M = Rh, nitrone = 1-pyrrolidine N-oxide (5), 2,3,4,5,-tetrahydropyridine N-oxide (6), 3,4-dihydroisoquinoline N-oxide (7); M = Ir, nitrone = 1-pyrrolidine N-oxide (8)) have been isolated and characterized including the X-ray crystal structure of compounds 6 and 8. The equilibrium between methacrolein and nitrone complexes is also studied. [Ir]-adduct complexes are detected by (31)P NMR spectroscopy. A catalytic cycle involving [M]-methacrolein, [M]-nitrone, as well as [M]-adduct species is proposed, the first complex being the true catalyst. The absolute configuration of the adduct 4-methyl-2-N,3-diphenyl-isoxazolidine-4-carbaldehyde (9) was determined through its (S)-(-)-alpha-methylbenzylamine derivative diastereomer. Structural parameters strongly suggest that the disposition of the methacrolein in 3 and 4 is fixed by CH/pi attractive interactions between the pro-S phenyl ring of the Ph(2)PCH(CH(3)) moiety of the (R)-Prophos ligand and the CHO aldehyde proton. Proton NMR data indicate that this conformation is maintained in solution. From the structural data and the results of catalysis the origin of the enantioselectivity is discussed.  相似文献

The closo-[Sn9M(CO)3]4-ions where M = Cr (1), Mo (2), W (3) were prepared from [LM(CO)3] precursors (L=mesitylene, cycloheptatriene), K4Sn9. and 2,2,2-cryptand in ethylenediamine/toluene solvent mixtures. The [K(2,2,2-cryptand)]+ salts are very air and moisture sensitive and have been characterized by IR, 119Sn, and 13C NMR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Complexes 1-3 form bicapped square-antiprismatic 10-vertex 22-electron closo structures in which the [M(CO)3] units occupy cluster vertices. For 1 and 2, the clusters have C4. symmetry in the solid state in which the [M(CO)A] fragments occupy capping positions with Sn9(4-) ions that are bound to the metal in an 4 fashion. For 3, the [M(CO)3] fragment occupies a position in the square plane with an eta/5-Sn9(4-) ion and C(s) point symmetry. For 1-3, a dynamic equilibrium exists between the eta4 and eta5 structures yielding three 119Sn NMR signals that reflect the three chemically distinct Sn environments of the higher symmetry C(4v) structure. The 119Sn NMR chemical shifts and coupling constants show solvent and temperature dependencies due to the equilibrium process. A triangular-face rotation mechanism is proposed to describe the dynamic behavior.  相似文献

A series of metal-metal quadruply bonded compounds [(tBuCO2)3M2]2(mu-TT) where TT = thienothiophenedicarboxylate and M = Mo, 1A, and M = W, 1B and [(tBuCO2)3M2]2(mu-DTT) where DTT = dithienothiophenedicarboxylate and M = Mo, 2A, and M = W, 2B, has been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, ESI- and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and 1H NMR spectroscopy. Their photophysical properties have also been investigated by steady-state absorption as well as transient absorption and emission spectroscopy. The optimized structures and the predicted low energy electronic transitions were obtained by DFT and time-dependent DFT calculations, respectively, on model compounds. These results, in combination with the respective properties of the compounds [(tBuCO2)3M2]2(mu-BTh) (BTh = 2,5'-bithienyldicarboxylate, M = Mo, 3A, and M = W, 3B), allow us to make a comprehensive comparison of the fused (compounds 1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B) and the nonfused thienyl (compounds 3A and 3B) dicarboxylate bridged compounds of molybdenum and tungsten. The electrochemical studies show singly oxidized radical cations that are valence trapped on the EPR time-scale and are classified as Class 1 (M = Mo) or Class 2 (M = W) on the Robin and Day scale for mixed valence compounds. The new compounds exhibit intense metal to bridge ligand charge transfer absorption bands in the far visible and near IR (NIR) region. Both molybdenum and tungsten complexes show dual emission, but for molybdenum, the phosphorescence is dominant while for tungsten the emission is primarily fluorescence. Femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy shows that the relaxation dynamics of the S1 states which have lifetimes of approximately 10 ps is dominated by intersystem crossing (ISC), leading to T1 states that in turn possess long lifetimes, approximately 70 micros (M = Mo) or 3 micros (M = W). These properties are contrasted with the photophysical properties of conjugated organic systems incorporating metal ions of the later transition elements.  相似文献

The Ru(II) organometallic antitumor complex [(eta(6)-biphenyl)RuCl(en)][PF(6)] (1) reacts slowly with the amino acid L-cysteine (L-CysH(2)) in aqueous solution at 310 K. Reactions were followed over periods of up to 48 h using HPLC, electronic absorption spectroscopy, LC-ESI-MS, and 1D or 2D (1)H and (15)N NMR spectroscopy. Reactions at a 1 mM/2 mM (Ru/L-CysH(2)) ratio were multiphasic in acidic solutions (pH 5.1) and appeared to involve aquation as the first step. Initially, 1:1 adducts involving substitution of Cl by S-bound or O-bound L-CysH(2), [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(S-L-CysH)(en)](+) (4a) and [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(O-L-CysH(2))(en)](2+) (4b) formed, followed by the cystine adduct [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(O-Cys(2)H(2))(en)](2+) (3), and two dinuclear complexes from which half or all of the chelated ethylenediamine had been displaced, [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(H(2)O)(microS,N-L-Cys)Ru(eta(6)-biphenyl)(en)](2+) (5) containing one bridging cysteine, and [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(O,N-L-Cys-S)(S-L-Cys-N)Ru(eta(6)-biphenyl)(H(2)O)] (6) containing two bridging cysteines. The unusual cluster species [(biphenyl)Ru](8) (7a) was also detected by MS and was more prevalent in reactions at higher L-CysH(2) concentrations. Complex 5 was the dominant product at pH 2-5, but overall, only ca. 50% of 1 reacted with L-CysH(2) in these conditions. The reaction between 1 and L-CysH(2) was suppressed in 50 mM triethylammonium acetate solution at pH > 5 or in 100 mM NaCl. Only 27% of complex 1 reacted with L-methionine (L-MetH) at an initial pH of 5.7 after 48 h at 310 K and gave rise to only one adduct [(eta(6)-biphenyl)Ru(S-L-MetH)(en)](2+) (8).  相似文献

Cationic iminoacyl-carbonyl tungsten complexes of the type [W(CO) (eta (2)-MeNCR)(acac) 2] (+) (acac = acetylacetonate; R = Ph ( 1a), Me ( 1b)) easily undergo thermal substitution of CO with two-electron donors to yield [W(L)(eta (2)-MeNCR)(acac) 2] (+) (L = tert-butylisonitrile [R = Ph ( 2a), Me ( 2b)], 2,6-dimethylphenylisonitrile [R = Me ( 2c)], triphenylphosphine [R = Ph ( 3a), Me ( 3c)], and tricyclohexylphosphine [R = Ph ( 3b)]). Tricyclohexylphosphine complex 3b exhibits rapid, reversible phosphine ligand exchange at room temperature on the NMR time scale. Photolytic replacement of carbon monoxide with either phenylacetylene or 2-butyne occurs efficiently to form [W(eta (2)-alkyne)(eta (2)-MeNCR)(acac) 2] (+) complexes ( 5a- d) with a variable electron donor eta (2)-alkyne paired with the eta (2)-iminoacyl ligand in the W(II) coordination sphere. PMe 3 adds to 1a or 5b to form [W(L)(eta (2)-MeNC(PMe 3)Ph)(acac) 2] (+) [L = CO ( 4), MeCCMe ( 6)] via nucleophilic attack at the iminoacyl carbon. Addition of Na[HB(OMe) 3] to 5b yields W(eta (2)-MeCCMe)(eta (2)-MeNCHPh)(acac) 2, 8, which exhibits alkyne rotation on the NMR time scale. Addition of MeOTf to 8 places a second methyl group on the nitrogen atom to form an unusual cationic eta (2)-iminium complex [W(eta (2)-MeCCMe)(eta (2)-Me 2NCHPh)(acac) 2][OTf] ( 9[OTf], OTf = SO 3CF 3). X-ray structures of 2,6-dimethylphenylisonitrile complex 2c[BAr' 4 ], tricyclohexylphosphine complex 3b[BAr' 4 ], and phenylacetylene complex 5a[BAr' 4 ] confirm replacement of CO by these ligands in the [W(L)(eta (2)-MeNCR)(acac) 2] (+) products. X-ray structures of alkyne-imine complexes 6[BAr' 4 ] and 8 show products resulting from nucleophilic addition at the iminoacyl carbon, and the X-ray structure of 9[BAr' 4 ] reflects methylation at the imine nitrogen to form a rare eta (2)-iminium ligand.  相似文献

Oxidative addition of the sulfur-sulfur bond of 2,2'-pyridine disulfide (C(5)H(4)NS-SC(5)H(4)N) with L(3)W(CO)(3) [L = pyridine, (1)/(3)CHPT; CHPT = cycloheptatriene] in methylene chloride solution yields the seven-coordinate W(II) thiolate complex W(eta(2)-mp)(2)(CO)(3) (mp = monoanion of 2-mercaptopyridine). This complex undergoes slow further oxidative addition with additional pyridine disulfide, yielding W(eta(2)- mp)(4). Reaction of W(eta(2)-mp)(2)(CO)(3) with NO results in quantitative formation of the six-coordinate W(0) complex W(eta(2)-mp)(2)(NO)(2). Reaction of W(eta(2)-mp)(2)(CO)(3) with NO in the presence of added pyridine disulfide yields the seven-coordinate W(II) nitrosyl complex W(eta(2)-mp)(3)(NO) as well as W(eta(2)-mp)(2)(NO)(2) and trace amounts of W(eta(2)-mp)(4). The complex W(eta(2)-mp)(3)(NO) is formed during the course of the reaction and not by reaction of W(eta(2)-mp)(4) or W(eta(2)-mp)(2)(NO)(2) with NO under these conditions. The photoinduced dissociation of a W-CN bond in [W(CN)8]4- in an aqueous solution under ambient conditions, in conjunction with the uptake of molecular oxygen, affords the W(VI) mixed-ligand complex anion [W(CN)(7)(eta2-O2)]3-, conveniently isolable as its [PPh4+] salt. Although research into the chemistry of cyanomolybdates and cyanotungstates has been pursued with great interest and vigor over several decades, there is a paucity of structurally characterized cyano-peroxo complexes of Mo and W. The side-on coordination mode of the peroxo moiety in [W(CN)7(eta2-O2)]3- has been ascertained with X-ray crystal structure determination [d(O-O) = 1.41 A; peroxo bite angle: 41.0 degrees ] and corroborated with vibrational spectroscopy [nu(O-O) = 915 cm(-1)]. The complex ion exhibits trapezoidal tridecahedral geometry and represents the new class of nine-coordinate complexes with one bidentate and seven monodentate ligands. Cyclic voltammetry shows a reversible redox behavior of [W(CN)7(eta2-O2)]3- in CH3CN with its standard reduction potential equal to 1.130 V. Generally, interest in atmospheric oxygen derives from the versatility of this molecule as a ligand and oxidant and extends to the physicochemical features it imparts to transition metals such as copper and iron in biological oxygen carriers.  相似文献

Reaction of the dimeric species [(eta3-Ind)Pd(mu-Cl)]2 (1) (Ind = indenyl) with NEt3 gives the complex (eta(3-5)-Ind)Pd(NEt3)Cl (3), whereas the analogous reactions with BnNH2 (Bn = PhCH2) or pyridine (py) afford the complexes trans-L2Pd(eta1-Ind)Cl (L = BnNH2 (4), py (5)). Similarly, the one-pot reaction of 1 with a mixture of BnNH2 and the phosphine ligands PR3 gives the mixed-ligand, amino and phosphine species (PR3)(BnNH2)Pd(eta1-Ind)Cl (R = Cy (6a), Ph (6b)); the latter complexes can also be prepared by addition of BnNH2 to (eta(3-5)-Ind)Pd(PR3)Cl (R = Cy (2a), Ph (2b)). Complexes 6 undergo a gradual decomposition in solution to generate the dinuclear Pd(I) compounds (mu,eta3-Ind)(mu-Cl)Pd2(PR3)2 (R = Cy (7a), Ph (7b)) and the Pd(II) compounds (BnNH2)(PR3)PdCl2 (R = Cy (8a), Ph (8b)), along with 1,1'-biindene. The formation of 7 is proposed to proceed by a comproportionation reaction between in situ-generated Pd(II) and Pd0 intermediates. Interestingly, the reverse of this reaction, disproportionation, also occurs spontaneously to give 2. All new compounds have been characterized by NMR spectroscopy and, in the case of 3, 4, 5, 6a, 7a, 7b, and 8a, by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献
