In this paper, we propose a scheme to enhance trapping of entanglement of two qubits in the environment of a photonic band gap material. Our entanglement trapping promotion scheme makes use of combined weak measurements and quantum measurement reversals. The optimal promotion of entanglement trapping can be acquired with a reasonable finite success probability by adjusting measurement strengths. 相似文献

根据单量子比特的映射, 提出一个在有限温度下运用弱测量保护两量子比特纠缠的方案. 在两个可通过局域幺正变化实现的等价的初始纠缠进入广义振幅阻尼信道前后, 对其分别进行弱测量, 并对四个弱测量的参数做全面的优化, 获取最大共生纠缠Cr 和弱测量参数m, n的解析表达式, 然后再进一步研究弱测量参数与信道参数的关系. 发现这种基于弱测量的纠缠保护方法在某些情况下可以有效地提高纠缠, 甚至可以避免纠缠的突然死亡. 当信道参数r一定时, 对不同的参数p,初始态|ψ>纠缠达到最大值时对应的弱测量参数m的取值一样, 共生纠缠关于p=0.5对称, 而初始态|φ>对应的参数m的取值不同; 在参数p一定、参数r不同、初始态|ψ>或|φ>的情况下, 当纠缠度取最大值时, 弱测量参数m的取值不变, 且随着r的增加, 纠缠度减少. 通过对信道参数的分析, 发现可以选择合适的信道参数和初始态来获得较大的纠缠. 相似文献

A scheme is proposed to generate a three-dimensional entangled state for two atoms trapped in two distant cavities via quantum Zeno dynamics. We study such system in the regime of resonant atom-field interactions, which makes the scheme work very fast. The enhancement of the precision of phase estimation in quantum metrology is investigated by employing weak measurement (WM) and quantum measurement reversal (QMR). We derive the exact expressions of the optimal quantum Fisher information (QFI) and success probability of phase estimation for an exactly solving model consisting of a qubit interacting with a structured reservoir. We show that the QFI can be obviously enhanced by means of the WM and QMR in different regimes. In addition, we also show that the magnitude of the decoherence involved in the WM and QMR can be a general complex number, which extends the applicable scope of the WM and QMR approach. 相似文献

We demonstrate a method to preserve entanglement and improve fidelity of three-qubit quantum states undergoing amplitude-damping decoherence using weak measurement and quantum measurement reversal. It is shown that we are able to enhance entanglement to the greatest extent, and to circumvent entanglement sudden death by increasing the weak measurement strength both for the GHZ state and the W state. The weak measurement technique can also enhance the fidelity to the quantum region and even close to 1 for the whole range of the decoherence parameter in both of the two cases. In addition, the W state can maintain more fidelity than the GHZ state in the protection protocol. However, the GHZ state has a higher success probability than the W state. 相似文献

We study the exact entanglement dynamics of two atoms in a lossy resonator. Besides discussing the steady-state entanglement, we show that in the strong coupling regime the system-reservoir correlations induce entanglement revivals and oscillations and propose a strategy to fight against the deterioration of the entanglement using the quantum Zeno effect. 相似文献

In recent years weak values have been used to explore interesting quantum features in novel ways. In particular, the real part of the weak value of the momentum operator has been widely studied, mainly in connection with Bohmian trajectories. Here we focus on the imaginary part and its role in relation with the entanglement of a bipartite system. We establish an entanglement criterion based on weak momentum correlations, that allows to discern whether the entanglement is encoded in the amplitude and/or in the phase of the wave function. Our results throw light on the physical role of the real and imaginary parts of the weak values, and stress the relevance of the latter in the multi-particle scenario. 相似文献

The models of two qubits separately trapped in two independent Markovian or non-Markovian environments have been investigated. The distinction of the two-qubit entanglement dynamics in different environments has also been discussed in detail. The results show that, in non-Markovian environments, the possible usage time of entanglement can be extended due to its memory effect. On the other hand, we note that, compared to Markovian environments, the two-qubit entanglement could be protected better in non-Markovian environments by modulating the detuning between qubits and cavities. The enhancement of teleportation fidelity by weak measurement or quantum measurement reversal is investigated. One qubit of a maximally entangled state undergoes the amplitude damping, and the subsequent application of weak measurement or quantum measurement reversal could improve the teleportation fidelity beyond the classical region. The improvement could not be attributed to the increasing of entanglement, quantum discord, classical correlation or total correlation. moments of a multimode field through two-level probe
“homodyning”. Our approach is based on an integral transform
formalism of measurable probe observables, where analytically
derived kernels unravel efficiently the required field information
at zero interaction time, minimizing decoherence effects. The

We present a scheme for entangling two micromechanical oscillators. The scheme exploits the quantum effects of radiation pressure and it is based on a novel application of entanglement swapping, where standard optical measurements are used to generate purely mechanical entanglement. We demonstrate a fast, robust, and nondestructive protocol for quantum-state estimation based on continuous weak measurement in the presence of a controlled dynamical evolution. Our experiment uses optically probed atomic spins as a test bed and successfully reconstructs a range of trial states with fidelities of approximately 90%. The procedure holds promise as a practical diagnostic tool for the study of complex quantum dynamics, the testing of quantum hardware, and as a starting point for new types of quantum feedback control. 相似文献

We study entanglement dynamics of two and three atoms stored in a common nonperfect cavity together with some other nonentangled atoms. It is guessed at first thought that the presence of nonentangled atoms would favor the decoherence process of the interested entangled atoms. We show, on the contrary, that it is not so. Namely, as results of a rigorous nonperturbative analysis, disentanglement rate of the interested atoms decreases with the increase of the number of nonentangled atoms. If the number of nonentangled atoms is sufficiently large, the entanglement of interested atoms could be protected efficiently. 相似文献

We introduce a modified weak value that is related to the mean value of input meter variable. With the help of the modified weak value, the validity conditions for various modified versions of weak value formalism are investigated, in terms of the dependence of the pointer shift on the mean value of the input meter. The weak value formalism, often used to represent the pointer shift, with the modified weak value is of great use in simplifying calculations and giving guidance of practical experiments whenever the mean value of the input meter variable is nonzero. We show that a von Neumann measurement on a part of a composite quantum system unavoidably creates distillable entanglement between the measurement apparatus and the system if the state has nonzero quantum discord. The minimal distillable entanglement is equal to the one-way information deficit. The quantum discord is shown to be equal to the minimal partial distillable entanglement that is the part of entanglement which is lost, when we ignore the subsystem which is not measured. We then show that any entanglement measure corresponds to some measure of quantum correlations. This powerful correspondence also yields necessary properties for quantum correlations. We generalize the results to multipartite measurements on a part of the system and on the total system. 相似文献
