A series of Cu(I) and Cu(II) complexes containing substituted ketiminate ligands was synthesized. Reaction of CuCl2 with 2 equiv. of Li[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)] in toluene generated dark green solid of Cu[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)]2 (1). Similarly, Cu(I) complex, {Cu[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)]Li[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)]}2 (2) was synthesized by reacting 2 equiv. of Li[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)] with CuCl in toluene at room temperature for 12 h. While the reaction of CuCl with Li[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)] in the presence of triphenylphosphine in THF solution at room temperature, a three-coordinated Cu[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)](PPh3) (3) can be isolated in high yield. Replacing the PPh3 of 3 with N-heterocarbene (NHC) generates Cu[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)](NHC) (4) in low yield. Complexes 2, 3, and 4 were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopies and all molecules were structurally characterized by X-ray diffractometry. Two coordination modes of ketiminate ligands were found in the molecular structure of 2, one of which is copper-coordinated terminal ketiminates and the other is lithium-copper-coordinated bridging ketiminates.  相似文献

The synthesis, crystal structure, and magnetic properties of two trinuclear oxo-centered carboxylate complexes are reported and discussed: [Cr3(mu3-O)(mu2-PhCOO)6(H2O)3]NO3.4H2O.2CH3OH (1) and [Cr3(mu3-O)(mu2-PhCOO)2(mu2-OCH2CH3)2(bpy)2(NCS)3] (2). For both complexes the crystal system is monoclinic, with space group C2/c for 1 and P1/n for 2. The structure of complex 1 consists of discrete trinuclear cations, associated NO3- anions, and lattice methanol and water molecules. The structure of complex 2 is built only by neutral discrete trinuclear entities. The most important feature of 2 is the unusual skeleton of the [Cr3O] core due to the lack of peripheral bridging ligands along one side of the triangular core, which is unique among the structurally characterized (mu3-oxo)trichromium(III) complexes. Magnetic measurements were performed in the 2-300 K temperature range. For complex 1, in the high-temperature region (T > 8 K), experimental data could be satisfactorily reproduced by using an isotropic exchange model, H = -2J12S1S2 - 2J13S1S3 - 2J23S2S3 (J12 = J13 = J23) with Jij = -10.1 cm(-1), g = 1.97, and TIP = 550 x 10(-6) emu mol(-1). The antisymmetric exchange interaction plays an important role in the magnetic behavior of the system, so in order to fit the experimental magnetic data at low temperature, a new magnetic model was used where this kind of interaction was also considered. The resulting fitting parameters are the following: Gzz = 0.25 cm(-1), delta = 2.5 cm(-1), and TIP = 550 x 10(-6) emu mol(-1). For complex 2, the experimental data could be satisfactorily reproduced by using an isotropic exchange model, H = -2J1(S1S2 + S1S3) - 2J2(S2S3) with J1 = -7.44 cm(-1), J2 = -51.98 cm(-1), and g = 1.99. The magnetization data allows us to deduce the ground term of S = 1/2, characteristic of equilateral triangular chromium(III) for complex 1 and S = 3/2 for complex 2, which is confirmed by EPR measurements.  相似文献

The reaction of [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(19)] with Mo(CO)(6) and Ru(3)(CO)(12) under sunlamp irradiation provided the new mixed-metal clusters [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO)(4)] and [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Ru(CO)(3)], which were isolated in yields of 85% and 61%, respectively. The compound [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO)(4)] crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 20.190 (7) ?, b = 16.489 (7) ?, c = 27.778 (7) ?, beta = 101.48 (2) degrees, and Z = 4 (at T = -75 degrees C). The cluster anion is composed of a Re(6)C octahedral core with a face capped by a Mo(CO)(4) fragment. There are three terminal carbonyl ligands coordinated to each rhenium atom. The four carbonyl ligands on the molybdenum center are essentially terminal, with one pair of carbonyl ligands (C72-O72 and C74-O74) subtending a relatively large angle at molybdenum (C72-Mo-C74 = 147.2(9) degrees ), whereas the remaining pair of carbonyl ligands (C71-O71 and C73-O73) subtend a much smaller angle (C71-Mo-C73 = 100.5(9) degrees ). The (13)C NMR spectrum of (13)CO-enriched [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO)(4)] shows signals for four sets of carbonyl ligands at -40 degrees C, consistent with the solid state structure, but the carbonyl ligands undergo complete scrambling at ambient temperature. The (13)C NMR spectrum of (13)CO-enriched [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Ru(CO)(3)] at 20 degrees C is consistent with the expected structure of an octahedral Re(6)C(CO)(18) core capped by a Ru(CO)(3) fragment. The visible spectrum of [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO)(4)] shows a broad, strong band at 670 nm (epsilon = 8100), whereas all of the absorptions of [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Ru(CO)(3)] are at higher energy. An irreversible oxidation wave with E(p) at 0.34 V is observed for [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO)(4)], whereas two quasi-reversible oxidation waves with E(1/2) values of 0.21 and 0.61 V (vs Ag/AgCl) are observed for [PPN](2)[Re(6)C(CO)(18)Ru(CO)(3)]. The molybdenum cap in [Re(6)C(CO)(18)Mo(CO(4))](2-) is cleaved by heating in donor solvents, and by treatment with H(2), to give largely [H(2)Re(6)C(CO)(18)](2-). In contrast, [Re(6)C(CO)(18)Ru(CO)(3)](2-) shows no tendency to react under similar conditions.  相似文献

Three new trinuclear copper(II) complexes, [(CuL(1))(3)(micro(3)-OH)][ClO(4)](2).3 H(2)O (1), [(CuL(2))(3)(micro(3)-OH)][ClO(4)](2).H(2)O (2), and [(CuL(3))(3)(micro(3)-OH)][ClO(4)](2).7 H(2)O (3) have been synthesized from the three tridentate Schiff bases HL(1), HL(2), and HL(3) (HL(1)=6- aminomethyl-3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-azahex-2-en-1-one, HL(2)=6-aminoethyl-3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-azahex-2-en-1-one, and HL(3)=6-aminodimethyl-3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-azahex-2-en-1-one). They have been characterized by X-ray crystallography and IR and UV spectroscopy, and their magnetic properties have been investigated. All the compounds contain a partial cubane [Cu(3)O(4)] core consisting of the trinuclear unit [(CuL)(3)(micro(3)-OH)](2+), perchlorate ions, and water molecules. In each of the complexes, the copper atoms are five-coordinate with a distorted square-pyramidal geometry except complex 1, in which one of the Cu(II) of the trinuclear unit is weakly coordinated to one of the perchlorate ions. Magnetic measurements performed in SQUID MPMS-XL7 using polycrystalline samples at an applied field of 2 kOe indicate a global intramolecular ferromagnetic coupling. Magnetostructural correlations have been calculated on the basis of theoretical models without symmetry restriction. Continuous shape measurements are an appropriate tool for establishing the degree of distortion of the Cu(II) from square-planar geometry. Structural, theoretical, and experimental magnetic data indicate that the higher the degree of distortion, the greater the ferromagnetic coupling.  相似文献

Reaction of Mn(ClO4)2 with di-pyridyl ketone oxime, (2-py)2C=NOH, gives the novel cluster [Mn(II)4Mn(III)6Mn(IV)2(mu4-O)2(mu3-O)4(mu3-OH)4(mu3-OCH3)2(pko)12](OH)(ClO4)3 1. It is the only example of a 24-MC-8, and the first metallacrown with ring metal ions in three different oxidation states. Magnetic measurements show antiferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

The reaction of [Sn(NMe(2))(2)](2) (1) with 4 equiv of HOCH(2)CMe(3) (HONep) leads to the isolation of [Sn(ONep)(2)](infinity) (2). Each Sn atom is four coordinated with mu-ONep ligands bridging the metal centers; however, if the free electrons of the Sn(II) metal center are considered, each Sn center adopts a distorted trigonal bipyramidal (TBP) geometry. Through (119)Sn NMR experiments, the polymeric compound 2 was found to be disrupted into smaller oligomers in solution. Titration of 2 with H(2)O led to the identification of two unique hydrolysis products characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction as Sn(5)(mu(3)-O)(2)(mu-ONep)(6) (3) and Sn(6)(mu(3)-O)(4)(mu-ONep)(4) (4). Compound 3 consists of an asymmetrical molecule that has five Sn atoms arranged in a square-based pyramidal geometry linked by four basal mu-ONep ligands, two facial mu(3)-O, and two facial mu-ONep ligands. Compound 4 was solved in a novel octahedral arrangement of six Sn cations with an asymmetric arrangement of mu(3)-O and mu-ONep ligands that yields two square base pyramidal and four pyramidal coordinated Sn cations. These compounds were further identified by multinuclear ((1)H, (13)C, (17)O, and (119)Sn) solid-state MAS and high resolution, solution NMR experiments. Because of the complexity of the compounds and the accessibility of the various nuclei, 2D NMR experiments were also undertaken to elucidate the solution behavior of these compounds. On the basis of these studies, it was determined that while the central core of the solid-state structures of 3 and 4 is retained, dynamic ligand exchange leads to more symmetrical molecules in solution. Novel products 3 and 4 lend structural insight into the stepwise hydrolysis of Sn(II) alkoxides.  相似文献

We present herein the VLS growth of SWNTs from oxo-hexacarboxylate-triron precursors, [Fe(3)O(O(2)CCH(3))(6)(EtOH)(3)] and [Fe(3)O(O(2)CCH(2)OMe)(6)(H(2)O)(3)][FeCl(4)], on spin-on-glass surfaces, using C(2)H(4)/H(2) (750 degrees C) and CH(4)/H(2) (800 and 900 degrees C) growth conditions. The SWNTs have been characterized by AFM, SEM and Raman spectroscopy. The characteristics of the SWNTs are found to be independent of the identity of the precursor complex or the solvent from which it is spin-coated. The as grown SWNTs show a low level of side-wall defects and have an average diameter of 1.2-1.4 nm with a narrow distribution of diameters. At 750 and 800 degrees C the SWNTs are grown with a range of lengths (300 nm-9 microm), but at 900 degrees C only the longer SWNTs are observed (6-8 microm). The yield of SWNTs per unit area of catalyst nanoparticle decreases with the growth temperature. We have demonstrated that spin coating of molecular precursors allows for the formation of catalyst nanoparticles suitable for growth of SWNTs with a high degree of uniformity in the diameter, without the formation of preformed clusters of a set diameter.  相似文献

A comparison is made between the structural, spectroscopic, electrochemical, and magnetic properties of pyrazolate versus carboxylate complexes [Fe3(mu3(mu3O)(mu-LL)6Cl3]2- containing the Fe3(mu3-O)-motif. While the Fe3(mu3-O)-cores are structurally indistinguishable in the two types of complexes, their magnetic properties deviate from the expected values as a result of a through-pyrazole contribution to the overall antiferromagnetic exchange with J1/hc = -80.1 cm(-1) and J2/hc = -72.4 cm(-1), or J1/hc = 70.6 cm(-1) and J2/hc = -80.8 cm(-1), (Hex = -J1(S1S2 + S2S3) - J2S1S3). The magnetic properties of the pyrazolate complexes are further tuned by an antisymmetric exchange interaction term.  相似文献

The title compound was prepared by the oxidation of MoCl3 in liquid phase. The crystal belongs to the orthorhombic system with space group D-Pmnb and unit cell parameters: a = 11.403 (1), b = 12.345 (2), c = 14.292 (2) Å; V = 2011.8 Å3; Z = 4, Dc = 2.396g/cm3. Altogether 2303 independent reflections were collected on a CAD-4 four-circle diffractometer with Mo radiation in range 2° ≤ θ ≤ 27°. The crystal structure was solved by heavy-atoms method and refined by full-matrix least-squares technique to final discrepancy factors R = 0.050 and Rw= 0.056 for 1513 reflections of I ≥ 3σ (I). The configuration of the cluster anion was characterized to be of the same Ml type structure as presented in the previous paper. The average bond lengths of Mo—Mo and Mo-(μ3-O) are 2.577 Å and 1.982 Å respectively. In addition, the effects of bridging atoms, other ligands and bond orders on Mo—Mo bonds are discussed briefly.  相似文献

Treatment of anhydrous chromium(III) chloride with 2 or 3 equivalents of 1,3-di-tert-butylacetamidinatolithium or 1,3-diisopropylacetamidinatolithium in tetrahydrofuran at ambient temperature afforded Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(Cl)(THF) and Cr(iPrNC(CH3)NiPr)3 in 78% and 65% yields, respectively. Treatment of Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(Cl)(THF) with the potassium salts derived from pyrazoles and 1,2,4-triazoles afforded Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(X), where X=3,5-disubstituted pyrazolato or 3,5-disubstituted 1,2,4-triazolato ligands, in 65-70% yields. X-Ray crystal structure analyses of Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(Me2pz) (Me2pz=3,5-dimethylpyrazolato) and Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(Me2trz) (Me2trz=3,5-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazolato) revealed eta2-coordination of the Me2pz and Me2trz ligands. Treatment of Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(Cl)(THF) with trifluoromethyltetrazolatosodium (NaCF3tetz) in the presence of 4-tert-butylpyridine afforded Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(CF3tetz)(4-tBupy) in 30% yield. An X-ray crystal structure determination showed eta1-coordination of the tetrazolato ligand through the 2-nitrogen atom. The complexes Cr(iPrNC(CH3)NiPr)3 and Cr(tBuNC(CH3)NtBu)2(X) are volatile and sublime with <1% residue between 120 and 165 degrees C at 0.05 Torr. In addition, these complexes are thermally stable at >300 degrees C under an inert atmosphere such as nitrogen or argon. Due to the good volatility and high thermal stability, these new compounds are promising precursors for the growth of chromium-containing thin films using atomic layer deposition.  相似文献

The neutral, monocationic, and dicationic linear trinuclear ruthenium compounds [Ru(3)(dpa)(4)(CN)(2)], [Ru(3)(dpa)(4)(CN)(2)][BF(4)], [Ru(3)(dpa)(4)Cl(2)][BF(4)], and [Ru(3)(dpa)(4)Cl(2)][BF(4)](2) (dpa=the anion of dipyridylamine) have been synthesized and characterized by various spectroscopic techniques. Cyclic voltammetric and spectroelectrochemical studies on the neutral and oxidized compounds are reported. These compounds undergo three successive metal-centered one-electron-transfer processes. X-ray structural studies reveal a symmetrical Ru(3) unit for these compounds. While the metal--metal bond lengths change only slightly, the metal--axial ligand lengths exhibit a significant decrease upon oxidation of the neutral complex. The electronic configuration of the Ru(3) unit changes as the axial chloride ligands are replaced by the stronger "pi-acid" cyanide axial ligands. Magnetic measurements and (1)H NMR spectra indicate that [Ru(3)(dpa)(4)Cl(2)] and [Ru(3)(dpa)(4)Cl(2)][BF(4)](2) are in a spin state of S=0 and [Ru(3)(dpa)(4)Cl(2)][BF(4)], [Ru(3)(dpa)(4)(CN)(2)], and [Ru(3)(dpa)(4)(CN)(2)][BF(4)] are in spin states of S=1/2, 1, and 3/2, respectively. These results are consistent with molecular orbital (MO) calculations.  相似文献

Reactions between the Os(VI)-nitrido complexes, [OsVI(L2)(Cl)3(N)] (L2 = 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) ([1]), 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (Me2bpy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), and 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Ph2phen)), and bis-(triphenylphosphoranylidene)ammonium azide (PPNN3) in dry CH3CN at 60 degrees C under N2 give the corresponding Os(IV)-azidoimido complexes, [OsIV(L2)(Cl)3(NN3)]- (L2 = bpy = [2]-, L2 = Me2bpy = [3]-, L2 = phen = [4]-, and L2 = Ph2phen = [5]-) as their PPN+ salts. The formulation of the N42- ligand has been substantiated by 15N-labeling, IR, and 15N NMR measurements. Hydroxylation of [2]- at Nalpha with O<--NMe3.3H2O occurs to give the Os(IV)-azidohydroxoamido complex, [OsIV(bpy)(Cl)3(N(OH)N3)] ([6]), which, when deprotonated, undergoes dinitrogen elimination to give the Os(II)-dinitrogen oxide complex, [OsII(bpy)(Cl)3(N2O)]- ([7]-). They are the first well-characterized examples of each kind of complex for Os.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reaction of a (239)Pu(IV) stock solution in the presence of iodic acid and 1 M KOH produces reddish-brown single crystals of (PuO(2))(2)(IO(3))(OH)(3). The structure consists of two-dimensional layers forming in the ac plane and is the first single-crystal structure of plutonium(VI) connected through hydroxide anions. The additional linkage of plutonium centers is completed through iodate ligands.  相似文献

New mixed-ligand copper(I) complexes, [Cu(Phca2en)(PPh3)X], [Phca2en = N,N′-bis(β-phenylci-nnamaldehyde)-1,2-diiminoethane and X=Cl (1), Br (2), I (3), NCS (4), N3 (5)] have been synthesized and characterized by various techniques. 1H and 13C-NMR and IR spectral data of these copper(I) complexes are compared with the free ligand to elucidate some structural features. The structures of [Cu(Phca2en)(PPh3)Br] (2) and [Cu(Phca2en)(PPh3)I] (3) have been determined from single-crystal data showing that the coordination geometry around copper atom is a distorted tetrahedron. Furthermore, these Cu(I) complexes exhibit supramolecular motifs of the type multiple phenyl embraces resulting from attractive interactions between phenyl rings of PPh3 moieties. The presence of the C–H…Cu weak intramolecular hydrogen bonds, due to the trapping of C–H bonds in the vicinity of the metal atoms, is also reported.  相似文献

The reactions of the binuclear oxomolybdenum(V) complex [Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;-OEt)(2)(&mgr;-HOEt)Mo(O)Cl(2)] (1) with Me(3)Si(allyl) and SbF(3) produce the compounds [Mo(6)O(6)Cl(6)(&mgr;(3)-O)(2)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(6)(&mgr;(2)-Cl)(2)] (2) and [Mo(8)O(8)Cl(6)(&mgr;(3)-O)(4)(OH)(2)(&mgr;(2)-OH)(4)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(4)(HOEt)(4)] (3), respectively. Treatment of 1 with the Lewis base PMe(3) affords the tetrameric complex [Mo(4)O(4)Cl(4)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(4)(HOEt)(2)(&mgr;(3)-O)(2)] (4), which represents another link in the chain of clusters produced by the reactions of 1 and simulating the build-up of polymeric molybdenum oxides by sol-gel methods. The crystal structure of 4 has been determined [C(12)H(32)Cl(4)Mo(4)O(12), triclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 7.376(2) ?, b = 8.807(3) ?, c = 11.467(4) ?, alpha = 109.61(1) degrees, beta = 92.12(3) degrees, gamma = 103.75(2) degrees, Z = 1]. By contrast, reaction of 1 with the nitrogen base NEt(3), followed by treatment with [PPN]Cl.2H(2)O ([PPN](+) = [Ph(3)P=N=PPh(3)](+)), gives the complex [PPN](+)[Et(3)NH](+)[Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;(2)-O)(2)Mo(O)Cl(2)](2)(-) (6) in 90% yield. Its crystal structure [C(36)H(30)Cl(4)MoNOP(2), triclinic, Pna2(1), a = 21.470(6) ?, b = 16.765(2) ?, c = 9.6155(14) ?, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 90 degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, Z = 16] includes the anion [Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;(2)-O)(2)Mo(O)Cl(2)](2)(-), which is a charged derivative of the species forming the gels in sol-gel processes starting from chloromolybdenum ethoxides. Furthermore, compound 1 is found to be catalytically active in esterification and dehydration reactions of alcohols.  相似文献
