Homoallylic substrates such as (E)-6-arylhex-3-enyl alcohols, N-tosylamides, and thiols undergo smooth cross-coupling with various aldehydes in the presence of 10 mol % Sc(OTf)(3) and 30 mol % TsOH to afford the trans-fused hexahydro-1H-benzo[f]isochromenes, N-tosyloctahydrobenzo[f]isoquinolines, and hexahydro-1H-benzo[f]isothiochromenes, respectively. However, the cross-coupling of (Z)-olefins such as 6-arylhex-3-enyl alcohols, N-tosylamides, and thiols with aldehydes affords the corresponding hexahydro-1H-benzo[f]isochromenes, N-tosyloctahydrobenzo[f]isoquinolines, and hexahydro-1H-benzo[f]isothiochromenes with complete cis selectivity via intramolecular Prins-, aza-Prins-, and thia-Prins/Friedel-Crafts cyclizations, respectively. Though the Prins cyclization proceeds smoothly under the influence of Sc(OTf)(3), high conversions and enhanced reaction rates are achieved using a mixture of Sc(OTf)(3) and TsOH (1:3).  相似文献

Polymerization of methyl methacrylate was studied using manganic laurate in the presence of organic thiols as initiators. The thiols used were 1-propane thiol and 2-propane thiol and the solvent was carbon tetrachloride. The rate of polymerization satisfied the expression RP = k1 [manganic laurate]1/2 [thiol]1/2 [monomer]3/2 where k1 is a constant. Spectroscopic investigations indicated complex formation between the monomer and manganic laurate. A reaction scheme is suggested.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] We report a mild, palladium-free synthetic protocol for the cross-coupling reaction of aryl iodides and thiols using 10 mol % CuI and 10 mol % neocuproine, with NaOt-Bu as the base, in toluene at 110 degrees C. Using this protocol, we have shown that a variety of aryl sulfides can be synthesized in excellent yields from readily available iodides and thiols.  相似文献

A method for the synthesis of vinyl sulfides by the coupling of vinyl bromides with thiols using the copper(I) bromide as catalyst and l-proline as ligand was reported. The best yields were obtained in the ionic liquid [Bmim]BF4 with the retention of stereochemistry. This protocol is palladium-free, tolerates both aromatic and aliphatic thiols, possesses good selectivity between alcohol and thiol, and does not require the use of expensive or air-sensitive additives.  相似文献

The photoreactions of [60]fullerene with aromatic tertiary amines such as N,N-dimethylaniline and N,N-dimethyl-1-naphthylamine gave two or three types of [60]fullerene adducts. Planar chiral tertiary amino phenols are prepared by reductive amination of 5-formyl-4-hydroxy[2.2]paracyclophane (FHPC) with secondary amines. The kinetics of the catalytic oxidation reactions of thiol compounds with molecular oxygen in aqueous solutions in the presence of copper ions was studied in relation to the structures of oxidized thiols and the pH of the solution. A modified procedure used for the determination of [O2] allowed us to obtain the kinetic characteristics of more than 30 thiols over a wide pH range. We found that weakly chelating thiols exhibited a first order of reaction with respect to [Cu+] and [O2] under conditions when the [(Cu+)(RS)2] complex occurred. In the oxidation of strongly chelating thiols in an alkaline medium, the order of reaction with respect to [Cu+] was equal to 2, and the rate of reaction was independent of [O2]. We found that the introduction of small amounts of strongly chelating thiols into Cu+ solutions containing difficult-to-oxidize mercaptans resulted in a dramatic acceleration of mercaptan oxidation. We hypothesized that O2 was effectively bound to the [(Cu+)(RS)2] complexes in an alkaline medium in the case of strongly chelating thiols, and this was not the case with the complexes of weakly chelating thiols.  相似文献

The selective determination of thiols in biological samples was investigated by high-performance liquid chromatography using N-[4-(6-dimethylamino-2-benzofuranyl)phenyl] maleimide, which was found to give fluorescent products when treated with certain thiols. Six kinds of thiol (reduced glutathione, cysteine, N-acetylcysteine, cysteamine, homocysteine and coenzyme A) could be separated simultaneously within ca. 12 min and determined at final level of sensitivity. The method was successfully applied to the determination of thiols in rat tissues and plasma and in human normal serum.  相似文献

Abstract

A novel copillar[4+1]arene incorporating alkylthiol substituents was synthesised in three steps and structurally characterised as the first example of a pillar[n]arene to incorporate two terminal thiols on the same aromatic ring. The macrocycle was attached to gold electrodes through a standard dipping technique. Cyclic voltammetry demonstrated selectivity for Li+ over other alkali metal cations. The copillar[4+1]arene was also used as a capping agent in the preparation of 3 nm gold nanoparticles.  相似文献

A highly sensitive and simple method using HPLC-fluorescence detection with 7-chloro-N-[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole-4-sulfonamide (DAABD-Cl) as a fluorogenic reagent demonstrated the existence of the low-molecular-weight thiols in the extract of Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans). The method includes derivatization of the thiols with DAABD-Cl at 40 degrees C for 10 min in borate buffer (pH 9.0) containing TCEP, CHAPS and EDTA, separation of the derivatives on an ODS column and fluorometric determination of the derivatives at 510 +/- 15 nm with excitation at 400 +/- 15 nm. The identification of the thiols was made by HPLC-electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (LC-MS) following isolation of the derivatives using HPLC-fluorescence detection. Low-molecular-weight thiols were found to exist in the extract of C. elegans, such as cysteine, cysteinylglycine, gamma-glutamylcysteine, reduced glutathione and two other unidentified thiol compounds, confirming the existence of the 'glutathione cycle' in C. elegans similar to the mammalian body.  相似文献

2′-Oxo-1′,2′-dihydrospiro[cyclopropane-1,3′-indole]-2,2,3,3-tetracarbonitriles reacted with oxygencentered nucleophiles to form addition products at the cyano groups with conservation of the three-membered ring. Reactions of the title compounds with alcohols required the presence of base catalyst, and the products, 2-amino-4,4-dialkoxy-2′-oxo-1′,2′-dihydrospiro[3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hex-2-ene-6,3′-indole]-1,5-dicarbonitriles, were converted into the corresponding 2-imino-2′,4-dioxospiro[3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-6,3′-indole]-1,5-dicarbonitriles and 2,2′,4-trioxospiro[3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-6,3′-indole]-1,5-dicarbonitriles by the action of acetic and sulfuric acids, respectively. The reactions with ketone oximes occurred in the absence of a catalyst, yielding 2-amino-4,4-bis(alkylideneaminooxy)-2′-oxo-1′,2′-dihydrospiro[3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hex-2-ene-6,3′-indole]-1,5-dicarbonitriles. The reactions with thiols, aliphatic amines, and anilines were accompanied by opening of the three-membered ring. In the reactions with triphenylphosphine and thiols 2-(2-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-indol-3-ylidene)malononitrile was obtained, while morpholine and N,N-dimethylaniline gave rise, respectively, to 3,3-diaryl-and 3,3-dimorpholino-1H-indol-2(3H)-ones and tri- and dicyanoethylene derivatives.  相似文献

Benzopyrano[2,3-b]pyridine is an important privileged medicinal scaffold. A three-component reaction of salicylaldehydes, thiols and 2 equiv of malononitrile that leads to the formation of a series of compounds incorporating 2,4-diamino-3-cyano-5-sulfanylbenzopyrano[2,3-b]pyridine framework is described.
