A new series of 2‐aryl‐5‐((2‐arylthiazol‐4‐yl)methyl)‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole derivatives was synthesized by condensation of 2‐(2‐substituted thiazol‐4‐yl)acetohydrazide with aryl aldehydes followed by oxidative cyclocondensation using iodobenzene diacetate. The structure of synthesized compounds was characterized by IR, NMR, and mass analysis. All the newly synthesized compounds were evaluated for their in vitro antimicrobial activity. Some of the compounds showed moderate antimicrobial activity.  相似文献

In this study, 10 different substituted aromatic bis‐benzaldehydes were synthesized by treating hydroxy benzaldehydes with various dihaloalkanes. Bis aldehydes 5a , 5b , 5c , 5d , 5e , 5f , 5g , 5h , 5i , 5j were treated with 2‐(5‐phenyl‐1H‐tetrazole‐1‐yl)acetohydrazide ( 3 ) in acidic medium and in the presence of ammonium acetate to yield a series of new isomeric bis(2‐(5‐((5‐phenyl‐1H‐tetrazol‐1‐yl)methyl)‐4H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐yl)phenoxy)alkanes ( 6a , 6b , 6c , 6d , 6e , 6f , 6g , 6h , 6i , 6j ) in excellent to good yield. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized by the available spectroscopic analysis.  相似文献

Some new target products 5‐aryl‐4,5‐dihydro‐3‐(5‐methyl‐1‐p‐tolyl‐1H‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl)‐1‐(4‐phenylthiazol‐2‐yl)pyrazoles 5a , 5b , 5c , 5d , 5e , 5f , 5g , 5h , 5i , 5j have been synthesized by reaction of 2‐bromo‐1‐phenylethanone and compounds 4a , 4b , 4c , 4d , 4e , 4f , 4g , 4h , 4i , 4j which were prepared from the combination of thiosemicarbazide and (E)‐3‐aryl‐1‐(5‐methyl‐1‐p‐tolyl‐1H‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl)‐prop‐2‐en‐1‐ones 3a , 3b , 3c , 3d , 3e , 3f , 3g , 3h , 3i , 3j . A series of multifunctional 2‐amino‐5‐cyano‐4‐[(2‐aryl)‐1H‐indol‐3‐yl]‐6‐hydroxypyrimidines ( 4a , 4b , 4c , 4d , 4e , 4f ) was synthesized by multicomponent reaction of 3‐formylindole ( 1 ), cyanoethylacetate ( 2 ), and guanidine hydrochloride ( 3 ) with NaOH by using green chemical techniques, viz. microwave irradiation and grindstone technology. The same reactants when refluxed in ethanol also gave titled compounds ( 4a , 4b , 4c , 4d , 4e , 4f ). Compared with conventional procedure, the reaction can be carried out under milder conditions, requiring a shorter reaction time and giving higher yields following the green chemistry methodology. All the synthesized compounds have been characterized on the basis of elemental analyses and spectral data (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass). All synthesized compounds were also evaluated for their antimicrobial activity against nine pathogenic bacteria, antifungal activity against Rhizopus stolonifer, Aspergillus flavus, and Fusarium oxysporum and antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa at different concentrations. Most of the compounds showed mild to moderate activity.  相似文献

In the present investigation, a novel series of 3‐(4‐(2‐substituted thiazol‐4‐yl)phenyl)‐2‐(4‐methyl‐2‐substituted thiazol‐5‐yl)thiazolidin‐4‐one derivatives were synthesized by condensation of 2‐substituted‐4‐methylthiazole‐5‐carbaldehyde with 4‐(2‐substituted thiazol‐4‐yl)benzenamine followed by cyclo‐condensation with thioglycolic acid in toluene. All the newly synthesized compounds were characterized by spectral (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and Mass) methods. The title compounds were screened for quantitative antibacterial activity (minimal inhibitory concentration). All compounds 7a , 7b , 7c , 7d , 7e , 7f , 7g , 7h and 8a , 8b , 8c , 8d , 8e , 8f , 8g , 8h show moderate to good antimicrobial activity, whereas compounds ( 7a , 7b , 7c , 7d , 7e , 7f , 7g , 7h ) also show moderate antifungal activity.  相似文献

In this study, methyl 2‐(quinolin‐8‐yloxy) acetate ( 2 ) obtained by reaction of 8‐hydroxyquinoline ( 1 ) with methyl chloroacetate was condensed with hydrazine hydrate to afford the carbohydrazide ( 3 ). Thio/semicarbazide derivatives ( 4a , 4b , 4c , 4d , 4e , 4f , 4g ) were obtained by treatment of the 3 with substituted phenyl iso/thioisocyanates. The 4a , 4b , 4c , 4d , 4e , 4f , 4g on acidic and basic intramolecular cyclization led to N‐(aryl)‐5‐((quinolin‐8‐yloxy)methyl)‐1,3,4‐oxa/thiadiazol‐2‐amines ( 5a , 5b , 5c , 5d , 5e , 5f , 5g ) and 4‐aryl‐5‐((quinolin‐8‐yloxy)methyl)‐2H‐1,2,4‐triazole‐3(4H)‐thiones ( 6a , 6b , 6c , 6d , 6e , 6f , 6g ), respectively. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by spectroscopic techniques and elemental analyses. The thiosemicarbazide ( 4c ) was also confirmed by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

The synthesis of some 3‐(4‐aryl‐benzofuro[3,2‐b]pyridin‐2‐yl)coumarins 3a–r has been carried out by the reaction of 3‐coumarinoyl methyl pyridinium salts 1a–c with 2‐arylidene aurones 2a–f in the presence of ammonium acetate and acetic acid under Kröhnke's reaction conditions. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by analytical and spectral data. They have been screened for their antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli (ATCC 25922) as Gram‐negative bacteria, Bacillus subtillis (ATCC 1633) as Gram‐positive bacteria and antifungal activity against Aspergillus niger (ATCC 9029).  相似文献

A series of novel 2‐(aryl)‐3‐[5‐(2‐oxo‐2H‐3‐chromenyl)‐1,3‐oxazol‐2‐yl]‐1,3‐thiazolan‐4‐ones 4a , 4b , 4c , 4e , 4f , 4g , 4h , 4i , 4j have been synthesized and assayed for their antibacterial activity against Gram‐positive bacteria viz. Bacillus subtilis (ATCC 6633), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538p), Micrococcus luteus (IFC 12708), and Gram‐negative bacteria viz. Proteus vulgaris (ATCC 3851), Salmonella typhimurium (ATCC 14028), Escherichia coli (ATCC 25922), and also antifungal activity against Candida albicans (ATCC 10231), Aspergillus fumigatus (HIC 6094), Trichophyton rubrum (IFO 9185), and Trichophyton mentagrophytes (IFO 40996). Among the screened compounds, 4d , 4e , 4f , 4g , and 4j exhibited potent inhibitory activity compared with the standard drug at the tested concentrations. The results reveal that, the presence of difluorophenyl in 4f and pipernyl ring in 4j at 2‐position of thiazolidine‐4‐one ring show significant inhibitory activity. The other compounds also showed appreciable activity against the test bacteria and fungi and emerged as potential molecules for further development. J. Heterocyclic Chem., 2011.  相似文献

A novel series of coumarin substituted triazolo‐thiadiazine derivatives were designed and synthesized by using 5‐methyl isoxazole‐3‐carboxylic acid ( 1 ), thiocarbohydrazide ( 2 ), and various substituted 3‐(2‐bromo acetyl) coumarins ( 4a , 4b , 4c , 4e , 4d , 4f , 4g , 4h , 4i , 4j ). Fusion of 5‐methyl isoxazole‐3‐carboxylic acid with thiocarbohydrazide resulted in the formation of the intermediate 4‐amino‐5‐(5‐methylisoxazol‐3‐yl)‐4H‐1,2,4‐triazole‐3‐thiol ( 3 ). This intermediate on further reaction with substituted 3‐(2‐bromo acetyl) coumarins under simple reaction conditions formed the title products 3‐(3‐(5‐methylisoxazol‐3‐yl)‐7H‐[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4‐b][1,3,4]thiadiazin‐6‐yl‐2H‐chromen‐2‐ones ( 5a , 5b , 5c , 5d , 5e , 5f , 5g , 5h , 5i , 5j ) in good to excellent yields. All the synthesized compounds were well characterized by physical, analytical, and spectroscopic techniques.  相似文献

A series of novel [4‐(1,2,3‐thiadiazol‐4‐yl)phenoxy]methylene anchored 1,3,4‐triazoles ( 8a , 8b , 8c , 8d , 8e , 8f , 8g , 8h ) and 1,3,4‐thiadiazoles ( 9a , 9b , 9c , 9d , 9e , 9f , 9g , 9h , 9i ) were synthesized from thiosemicarbazide ( 7a , 7b , 7c , 7d , 7e , 7f , 7g , 7h , 7i , 7j ). The structures of these newly synthesized compounds were confirmed on the basis of IR, 1H‐NMR, mass spectral techniques, and elemental analysis. The in vitro antimicrobial screenings of the synthesized compounds were carried out against four bacterial pathogens, namely Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and three fungal pathogens Candida albicans, Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus clavatus, using broth microdilution minimum inhibitory concentration method. The compounds 7d , 7j , 8a , 9a , 9b , and 9i exhibited promising antibacterial activity against the tested strains, whereas some compounds were found to be active against one of the tested bacterial strains.  相似文献

In order to explore the anticancer and antimicrobial activity associated with the thiazole framework, we synthesized the new series (Z )‐2‐((5‐(4‐nitrobenzylidene)‐4‐oxo‐4,5‐dihydrothiazol‐2‐yl)amino)‐substituted acid derivatives 6a – l . All the synthesized compounds were evaluated for anticancer and antimicrobial activity in vitro. Among these, the compounds 6a , 6b, 6c , 6e , 6f , 6g , 6h , 6i , 6j , and 6k showed highest antibacterial and antifungal activity. The compound 6a exhibited significant antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis , whereas compound 6j displays significant antifungal activity against fungal strains, that is, A. oryzae . The in vitro anticancer studies revealed that 6e , 6g , 6h , 6k , and 6l are the most active compounds against MCF‐7 and BT‐474 human breast cancer cell lines, which can be regarded as the promising drug candidate for development of anticancer drugs.  相似文献

The 4‐quinolone‐2‐carbohydrazide 6a was converted into 1‐aryl‐3‐(4‐quinolon‐2‐yl)ureas 5a , 5b , 5c , 5d , 5e , 1‐aryl‐3‐(4‐quinolon‐2‐yl)imidazolidine‐2,4‐diones 9a , 9b , and N‐(4‐quinolon‐2‐yl)carbamates 10a , 10b via 4‐quinolone‐2‐carbonylazide 7a . The 4‐methoxyquinoline‐2‐carbohydrazide 6b was also transformed into 1‐aryl‐3‐(4‐methoxyquinolin‐2‐yl)ureas 11a , 11b , 11c , 11d , 1‐aryl‐3‐(4‐methoxyquinolin‐2‐yl)imidazolidine‐2,4‐diones 12a , 12b , and N‐(4‐methoxyquinolin‐2‐yl)carbamates 13a , 13b via 4‐methoxyquinoline‐2‐carbonylazide 7b . Some of the 1‐aryl‐3‐(4‐quinolon‐2‐yl)ureas 5a , 5b , 5c , 5d , 5e showed the in vitro antimalarial activity to chloroquine‐resistant Plasmodium falciparum, wherein IC50 was 0.93 to 4.00 μM.  相似文献

Eighteen novel 2‐(1‐aryl‐5‐methyl‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl)‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole derivatives and two acylhydrazone intermediate compounds were synthesized by various pathways starting from 1‐aryl‐5‐methyl‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐formhydrazide ( 1 ). All products were identified by spectroscopic analysis, and 2‐(1‐aryl‐5‐methyl‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl)‐5‐benzalthio‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole was further validated by X‐ray crystallography. Results from primary antibacterial activity tests indicated that most of the compounds were effective against E. coli, P. aeruginosa, B. subtilis and S. aureus.  相似文献

2‐(3,4‐Dichlorophenylimino)‐5‐((3‐(p‐substitutedphenyl)‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)methylene) thiazolidin‐4‐one has been selected as a target bio‐active molecules. Newly synthesized compounds were screened with Eschericha coli (MTCC 443), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (MTCC 1688), Staphylococcus aureus (MTCC 96), Streptococcus pyogenes (MTCC 442) for antibacterial, Candida albicans (MTCC 227), Aspergillus niger (MTCC 282), Aspergillus clavatus (MTCC 1323) for antifungal activity and H 37 Rv for antimycobacterial activity. Compounds 3a , 3c , 3d , 3e , and 3h are potentially active against Staphylococcus aureus , while 3h is active against C. albicans . Compounds 3d and 3f are active against H 37Rv for mycobacterium tuberculosis. Other possesses moderate to good activity. The structures of synthesized compounds were firmly established by well‐defined elemental analyses (C, H, N, S/O) and spectral analysis technique likes, IR, 1H NMR and GC–MS.  相似文献

New 4‐aryl‐5‐(1‐phenyl‐5‐methyl‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl)‐1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐thiones 3 have been synthesized by the intramolecular cyclization of 4‐aryl‐1‐(1‐phenyl‐5‐methyl‐1,2,4‐triazol‐4‐formyl)thiosemicarbazides 2 with an 8% NaOH solution, and then 3 reacted with ω‐bromo‐ω‐(1H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)acetophenone to afford ω‐[4‐aryl‐5‐(1‐phenyl‐5‐methyl‐1,2,3‐triazol‐4‐yl)‐1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐thio]‐ω‐(1H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)‐acetophenones 4 . The preliminary biological test showed that the representative compounds possess some anti fungal activities.  相似文献

In an endeavor to find a new class of antimicrobial agents, a series of novel substituted benzimidazole, benzoxazole, and benzothiazole derivatives 6 containing pyrazole moiety have been synthesized by reaction of 3‐aryl‐4‐formyl pyrazole 4 with substituted phenylenediamine or o‐aminophenol or o‐aminothiophenol 5 . Reaction of phenyl hydrazine or 2‐hydrazinopyridine 1 with substituted acetophenones 2 gave the corresponding hydrazones 3 , which on Vilsmeier–Haack reaction with POCl3–DMF gave substituted 3‐aryl‐4‐formyl pyrazoles 4 . All final compounds 6a , 6b , 6c , 6d , 6e , 6f , 6g , 6h , 6i , 6j , 6k were evaluated for in vitro antibacterial activities against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus strains and in vitro antifungal activity against Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger strains by using serial dilution method. The antimicrobial activities were expressed as the minimum inhibitory concentration in µg/mL. The compound containing benzimidazole and benzoxazole moiety gave better antibacterial and antifungal activities than benzothiazole compounds.  相似文献

Anhydrous zinc bromide catalysed reactions of arylidine‐3‐acetyl coumarins ( 1a‐c ) and 5,6‐benzoanalogs of arylidine 3‐acetyl coumarins ( 4a,4b ) with 1,3‐cyclohexanedione gives ‐(4‐aryl‐5‐oxo‐5,6,7,8‐tetrahydro‐4H‐chromen‐2yl)‐2H‐chromen‐2‐ones ( 3a, 3c ) and 5,6‐benzoanalogs of 3‐(4‐aryl‐5‐oxo‐5,6,7,8‐tetrahydro‐4H‐chromen‐2yl)‐2H‐chromen‐2‐one ( 5a,5b ). Under similar conditions arylidine‐3‐acetylcoumarins ( 1a, 1b,1d, 1e, 1f ) and 5,6‐benzoanalog of arylidine 3‐acetyl coumarin ( 4b ) react with 5,5‐dimethyl‐1,3‐cyclohexanedione (dimedone) yielding 3‐(4‐aryl‐7,7‐dimethyl‐5‐oxo‐5,6,7,8‐tetrahydro‐4H‐chromen‐2‐yl)‐2H‐chromen‐2‐ones ( 3d‐3h ) and the 5,6‐benzoanalog of 3.(4‐aryl‐7,7‐dimethyl‐5‐oxo‐5,6,7,8‐tetrahydro‐4H‐chromen‐2‐yl)‐2H‐chromen‐2‐one ( 5c ).  相似文献

A series of novel N‐((l‐benzyl‐lH‐l,2,3‐triazol‐5‐yl) methyl)‐4‐(6‐methoxy benzo[d ]thiazol‐2‐yl)‐2‐nitrobenzamide derivatives were prepared from 4‐(6‐methoxybenzo[d ]thiazol‐2‐yl)‐2‐nitro‐N‐(prop‐2‐ynyl) benzamide with benzyl azides by using click reaction (copper‐catalyzed Huisgen 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition reaction) in the presence of CuSO4.5H2O and sodium ascaorbate. All the newly synthesized compounds were evaluated further in vitro antimicrobial activity against Gram‐positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtillis ), Gram‐negative bacteria (Echerichia coli and Pseudomonas aeuroginosa ), and fungi (Aspergillus niger and Aspergillusfumigatus ) strains. The new compounds were characterized based on spectroscopic evidence. Among them compounds 10a , 10h , and 10i were showed promising activity when compared with standard drugs Ciprofloxacin and Miconazole.  相似文献

Ethyl 7‐amino‐3‐(3‐methyl‐5‐oxo‐1‐phenyl‐2‐pyrazolin‐4‐yl)‐5‐aryl‐5H‐thiazolo[3,2‐a]pyrimidine‐6‐carboxylate was synthesized by the reaction of 4‐(2‐aminothiazol‐4‐yl)‐3‐methyl‐5‐oxo‐1‐phenyl‐2‐pyrazoline with arylidene ethyl cyanoacetate and it transformed to related fused heterocyclic systems via reaction with various reagents.
