We show that when a narrow beam is incident upon a dielectric interface near the critical angle for total internal reflection it will be transmitted into the far field with an angular deflection from the direction predicted by Snell's law, because of a phenomenon that we call "Fresnel filtering." This effect can be quite large for the parameter range that is relevant to dielectric microcavity lasers.  相似文献

根据全反射相变理论设计了菲涅耳菱体型相位延迟器延迟量对入射角变化不敏感的结构角。根据薄膜的偏振效应,从薄膜的特征矩阵出发,通过在菱体的两个全反射面蒸镀光学介质膜的方法拓宽了菲涅耳菱体型相位延迟的消色差宽度。在ML_EB900型镀膜机上适当控制沉积条件制备了消色差相位延迟膜,实验测试结果表明:在530~700 nm的波长范围内,可以获得90°的相位延迟量,且最大偏差小于0.7°。  相似文献

基于光束在单轴晶体交界面处的折射理论和单轴晶体中的矢量传播理论,研究了基模高斯光束通过铌酸锂光束偏转器后的电场变化,计算得到了光束定向系统探测器输出的中频电流与光束失配角之间的关系曲线.结果表明:通过铌酸锂光束偏转器后的基模高斯光束的电场分布发生了细微的变化,这种细微的电场变化将改变输出中频电流与光束失配角之间的对应关系.借助该修正的数学模型,可提高光束定向系统的角度测量准确度.  相似文献

根据Maxwell的电磁场理论,推导出单色平面光波入射到介电常量和磁导率分别为ε1、μ1和ε2、μ2的两种介质时的菲涅耳公式和反射率及透射率的普适表达形式.对于ε2<0 和,μ2<0的左手材料,普适菲涅耳公式同样适用.研究了光从右手材料入射到左手材料时反射和折射的特性,给出了反射光为全偏光时布儒斯特角应满足的条件,此条件说明,在左手材料中布儒斯特角不但与折射率有关而且与磁导率有关.  相似文献

We propose and demonstrate a novel ring-cavity-based flat-top birefringent interleaver. A single ring cavity provides the two phase shifts needed, each for a polarization state, to achieve a flat-top spectral passband at the output. Fresnel reflectivities (for s- and p-polarization states) at the prism interface of the ring cavity are employed so that highly accurate thin-film coatings are not needed for the phase shifts. By choosing the appropriate incident angle near the Brewster angle, we can obtain the optimum interface reflectivities for flat passbands and extremely low cross talk. We also present the results of our experimental investigations of a flat-top 25-GHz optical interleaver that uses a novel ring cavity architecture. In a 25-GHz channel spacing application the interleaver exhibits a 0.5-dB passband larger than 0.14 nm (17.5 GHz), a 25-dB stopband greater than 0.14 nm (17.5 GHz), and channel isolation better than 28 dB over the entire C band.  相似文献

光纤入射光束的角度和位置的变化对光纤出射光束的远场光强分布有较大影响。通过分析光纤出射光场的光强分布,研究了斜光束的偏轴角对光纤出射光场的影响。光纤耦合理论说明光纤的宏弯曲会使光纤内部模式相互耦合,根据这一原理设计一种能使光纤宏弯曲并以此来改善光纤出射场分布的机械扰模器。在实验中,对不同偏轴角入射及处于不同扰模程度的光斑进行中值滤波、高斯拟合等处理,得到光斑的径向光强分布曲线、高斯拟合度、不同出射焦比范围的能量变化等参数,以此分析机械扰模器的扰模效果。  相似文献

通过对光学材料和器件内全反射角的优化设计,提出一种改进型菲涅尔棱体模型,使入射光在器件内以相同的内反射角θ在两种不同玻璃材料和空气构成的界面上发生两次全反射,由反射引起的相位延迟的变化可以相互补偿,从而设计出对入射角不敏感的相位延迟器.计算表明,入射角变化±2°时,该相位延迟偏差不超过0.36°,且保持了原型菲涅尔棱体正入射和正出射的优点,大大方便了使用. 关键词: 相位 全内反射角 折射率  相似文献

We study the Fresnel diffraction of Gaussian beam truncated by one circular aperture, and give the general analytic expression of the Fresnel diffraction of truncated Gaussian beam denoted by Bessel functions. Then the characteristic of the axial diffraction fluctuation and the influence of the caliber of the circular aperture and the wave waist of Gaussian beam on the diffraction distributions are discussed, respectively. Through the numerical calculations, the characteristics of the transverse diffraction are presented and the relationship of the fluctuation of the transverse diffraction profile and the position of the axial point is shown. The physical origin of the fluctuation of Fresnel diffraction intensities of truncated Gaussian beam is expressed in terms of Fresnel half-zone theory. These phenomena and the conclusions are important for the measurement of the parameters of the beam and its applications.  相似文献

A phase angle is constructed to estimate the standard deviation of speckle phase. The relative accurate amending expression of the standard deviation of speckle phase is derived according to the statistical properties of speckle phase of the fully developed speckle fields. The theoretical values of standard deviation are compared with that which are calculated from the Gaussian theory of the speckle field. The theoretical results are compared and discussed with respect to the experimental results of Kadono et al.  相似文献

We theoretically propose a novel scheme to implement two types of optical differentiators using all-optical phase modulation and linear filtering. Differences between the two differentiators rely on whether the differentiated signals are formed on the optical intensity or optical field of the output signal, which in turns depends on the relative shift between the probe wavelength and the closest notches of a linear filter. A proof-of-concept experiment is carried out using a semiconductor optical amplifier and a fiber-based delay interferometer (DI). Both differentiators are obtained for periodical Gaussian pulses and pseudo random non-return-to-zero signals at various data rates. Defined as the mean absolute deviation of the measured waveform from the ideal one, total average errors of less than 18% are observed in all cases. The impact of probe wavelength on the total average errors is investigated. Due to periodical feature of the DI spectrum, we also demonstrate the capability of multi-channel differentiation.  相似文献

In this paper, we treat the quantum filtering problem for multiple input multiple output (MIMO) Markovian open quantum systems coupled to multiple boson fields in an arbitrary zero-mean jointly Gaussian state, using the reference probability approach formulated by Bouten and van Handel as a quantum version of a well-known method of the same name from classical nonlinear filtering theory, and exploiting the generalized Araki-Woods representation of Gough. This includes Gaussian field states such as vacuum, squeezed vacuum, thermal, and squeezed thermal states as special cases. The contribution is a derivation of the general quantum filtering equation (or stochastic master equation as they are known in the quantum optics community) in the full MIMO setup for any zero-mean jointly Gaussian input field states, up to some mild rank assumptions on certain matrices relating to the measurement vector.  相似文献

According to the relations between the phase and the complex speckle amplitude, a phase angle is constructed to estimate the free standard deviation of phase difference of speckle fields. The relative accurate amending expression of evaluating the free standard deviation of phase difference is derived for the Gaussian speckle fields. The statistical properties of phase difference are studied for the Gaussian speckle fields of diffraction fields. The theoretical values of the free standard deviation of phase difference for the case of fully developed speckle fields are compared with the numerical values of the free standard deviation which are calculated from the Gaussian theory of the fully developed speckle fields.  相似文献

We present a new cavity design for controlling the spatial quality of the beam delivered by a fibre laser including a multicore fibre. A quasi Gaussian profile is produced at the 7-core fibre output involving self-imaging effects in the multicore fibre and spatial filtering. Numerical and experimental investigations analyse the spatial and spectral characteristics of the multicore fibre laser.  相似文献

利用级数展开的方法,对薄介质的Z扫描理论进行了分析,并对于通常所采用的级数展开和菲涅耳衍射分析方法进行了讨论,证明了在分析利用高斯光束对薄介质进行Z扫描测量时,即使对于大的非线性相移,高斯分解方法和菲涅耳衍射积分方法仍具有等效性,澄清了人们认识上的一些误解。同时分析了远场小孔的归一化透射率与积分限的关系,并对采用高斯分解方法时级数求和的振荡原因进行了分析和讨论,给出了消除振荡所需的最小求和数的判据。针对高斯分解方法和菲涅耳衍射积分方法的使用场合,也进行了讨论。根据所得结论,可以在具体的实验和理论分析中,正确地选择更高效的分析方法。  相似文献

研究了双折射滤波片的滤波和调谐性质。利用矩阵方法和反射、透射系数,给出了波片两个界面的菲涅耳系数。利用相移公式和光线轨迹公式,由入射角和光轴方位角可计算波片精确的相移公式。将上述系数和这一波片的相移公式用于琼斯矩阵,得到透射率的本征矩阵。该矩阵的本征值即为波片的透射系数。由此,给出了波片的主要性质(特别是透射宽度),讨论了波片参量(入射角、方位角和厚度)对波片性质的影响。利用相移公式,讨论了波片的调谐性质,并给出了选择参量的最佳范围。对石英波片,最佳参量为:厚度约在1500~2000μm,方位角大于45°,循环系数r尽可能大。在激光器增益较大时,选择较小的入射角。  相似文献

从标量场的菲涅耳衍射理论出发,研究了球面波入射平面透射光栅的衍射场,导出菲涅耳衍射场的复振幅分布,并得到光栅菲涅耳衍射角的计算公式.结果表明,在理想情况下菲涅耳衍射的每一级衍射波都是一个球面波;在对菲涅耳衍射角进行新的定义后,衍射角的计算仍然可以采用夫琅禾费衍射的光栅方程.  相似文献

空心光束的质量是超衍射极限相干反斯托克斯拉曼散射显微成像技术中决定成像质量的一个至关重要的因素. 本文基于菲涅耳衍射理论,分析了螺旋相位片法产生空心光束的物理机理,并且模拟了不同的入射条件对产生的空心光束的影响. 模拟结果表明:波长与相位片中心波长匹配且光强呈圆对称分布的高斯光垂直入射到相位片上,当高斯光束中心与相位片中心完全对准时,可获得较理想的空心光束;入射光光强分布的圆对称性以及入射光中心与相位片中心的对准程度都会影响产生的空心光束的强度分布;同时,高斯光束小角度倾斜入射时,空心光的强度分布仍呈圆对称,却在观察面发生一定的位移;此外,入射光中心波长偏离相位片中心波长不大时,对产生的空心光束的强度分布几乎没有影响. 上述分析结果对用于超衍射相干反斯托克斯拉曼散射显微成像技术中理想空心光束的获取具有重要的指导意义. 关键词: 空心光束 超衍射极限 相干反斯托克斯拉曼散射 螺旋相位片  相似文献

We report the experimental demonstration of fluorescence of CdSe quantum dots with surface plasmon excitation in deep-ultraviolet (deep-UV) region. Surface plasmon resonance in deep-UV is excited by aluminum thin film in the Kretschmann-Raether geometry. Considering the oxidation thickness of aluminum, the experimental results of incident angle dependence of reflectance show good agreement with Fresnel theory. Surface plasmon resonance with 19 nm-thick aluminum and 5 nm-thick almnina was excited at the incident angle of 48 degrees for 266 nm excitation. Fluorescence of CdSe quantum dots coated on this aluminum film was observed by the surface plasmon excitation.  相似文献

介绍了经典非局部均值滤波算法与Manjón非局部均值滤波算法,改进了非局部均值滤波方法的相似度权值,使算法在具有旋转平移不变性,保持时间复杂度的同时优化了视觉效果与信噪比。实验通过添加噪声标准差从10~100不等的高斯加性噪声,比较了改进后的算法与传统滤波算法以及Manjón非均值滤波算法,结果表明,改进后的算法无论从视觉上还是数值上都优于Manjón非均值滤波算法。  相似文献
