On Plenary Train Algebras of Rank 4

The existence of idempotent elements in plenary train algebras of rank greater than 3, is an open problem to be solved. J. Carlos Gutierrez's results on plenary train algebras in Gutierrez (2000 Gutierrez , J. C. ( 2000 ). Principal and plenary train algebras . Comm. Algebra 28 ( 2 ): 653 – 667 . [Google Scholar]) are based on the underlying assumption of the existence of an idempotent. In this article we study conditions on the scalars defining a plenary train algebra of rank 4 to assure the existence of such an idempotent.     

On Real Simple Left-symmetric Algebras

In this article, we commence to study the real (simple) left-symmetric algebras. From the known classification of certain complex (semi)simple left-symmetric algebras, we classify their corresponding real forms. We not only obtain the classification of real simple left-symmetric algebras in low dimensions, but also find certain examples of real simple left-symmetric algebras in higher dimensions. In particular, there exists a complex simple left-symmetric algebra without any real form. We also give a geometric construction for a class of real simple left-symmetric algebras. At last, we apply the classification results to study some structures related to geometry.     

Classification for Certain Simple Real Rank ZeroC*-Algebras

In this paper aK-theoretic classification is given of the simple real rank zeroC*-algebras that can be expressed as inductive limits of sequences of finite direct sums of matrix algebras over finite connected graphs (possibly with dimension drop). This class ofC*-algebras provides torsionK₁. The special case that the graphs are intervals is due to Elliott.     

Cohomology of the Universal Enveloping Algebras of Certain Bigraded Lie Algebras

Let p be an odd prime and q = 2(p-1).Up to total degree t-s max{(5p~3+ 6p~2+ 6 p +4)q-10,p~4q},the generators of H~(s,t)(U(L)),the cohomology of the universal enveloping algebra of a bigraded Lie algebra L,are determined and their convergence is also verified.Furthermore our results reveal that this cohomology satisfies an analogous Poinare duality property.This largely generalizes an earlier classical results due to J.P.May.     

Free Algebras in Certain Varieties of Distributive Pseudocomplemented De Morgan Algebras

In this paper we characterize the join irreducible elements of the free algebras on n free generators in the subvarieties of the variety V₀ of pseudocomplemented De Morgan algebras satisfying the identity xx′* = (xx′*)′*.     

某些算子代数的可加导子

本文主要研究非Ｉｎ型因子ＶｏｎＮｅｕｍａｎｎ代数的Ｎｅｓｔ子代数及两元生成格自反代数的可加导子的自动线性性和连续性问题．通过给出一个含无限维交换ＶｏｎＮｅｕｍａｎｎ子代数的代数上可加导子定理，证明了非Ｉｎ型因子ＶｏｎＮｅｕｍａｎｎ代数的Ｎｅｓｔ子代数上的可加导子是线性的，从而是自动连续的．这推广并简化证明了作者［１］中的主要结果．对于在非自伴算子代数研究中起重要的两元生成格自反代数，给出了所有可加导子是线性导子的充分必要条件．     

Hom-derivations in C*-ternary Algebras

In this paper, we introduce and solve the following additive (ρ₁, ρ₂)-functional inequalities ||f(x+y+z)-f(x)-f(y)-f(z)|| ≤ ||ρ₁(f(x+z)-f(x)-f(z))||+||ρ₂(f(y+z)-f(y)-f(z))||, where ρ₁ and ρ₂ are fixed nonzero complex numbers with|ρ₁|+|ρ₂|< 2. Using the fixed point method and the direct method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the above additive (ρ₁, ρ₂)-functional inequality in complex Banach spaces. Furthermore, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of hom-derivations in C^*-ternary algebras.     

Chinese Algebras of Rank 3

The structure of the algebra K[M] of the Chinese monoid M of rank 3 over a field K is studied. The minimal prime ideals are described and the classical Krull dimension is computed. It follows that every minimal prime ideal is determined by a homogeneous congruence on M. Moreover, the prime radical is nilpotent and equal to the Jacobson radical. This ideal is not determined by a congruence on M.

Range-Renewal Processes: SLLNs and Power Laws*

Given n samples(viewed as an n-tuple) of a γ-regular discrete distribution π,in this article the authors concern with the weighted and unweighted graphs induced by the n samples. They first prove a series of SLLN results(of Dvoretzky-Erd¨os’ type). Then they show that the vertex weights of the graphs under investigation obey asymptotically power law distributions with exponent 1 + γ. They also give a conjecture that the degrees of unweighted graphs would exhibit asymptotically power law distribu...     

On CAP*-subalgebras of Lie Algebras

A subalgebra H of a Lie algebra L is said a CAP*-subalgebra if, for any non-Frattini chief factor A/B of L, we have H + A = H + B or H ∩ A = H ∩ B. In this article, using this concept, we give some characterizations of solvability and supersolvability of a finite dimensional Lie algebra.     

On the Simplicity of Lie Algebras Associated to Leavitt Algebras

For any field 𝕂 and integer n ≥ 2, we consider the Leavitt algebra L _𝕂(n); for any integer d ≥ 1, we form the matrix ring S = M _d (L _𝕂(n)). S is an associative algebra, but we view S as a Lie algebra using the bracket [a, b] = ab ? ba for a, b ∈ S. We denote this Lie algebra as S ^?, and consider its Lie subalgebra [S ^?, S ^?]. In our main result, we show that [S ^?, S ^?] is a simple Lie algebra if and only if char(𝕂) divides n ? 1 and char(𝕂) does not divide d. In particular, when d = 1, we get that [L _𝕂(n)^?, L _𝕂(n)^?] is a simple Lie algebra if and only if char(𝕂) divides n ? 1.

A-扩张Lie Rinehart代数

The purpose of this paper is to give a brief introduction to the category of Lie Rinehart algebras and introduces the concept of smooth manifolds associated with a unitary, commutative,associative algebra A.It especially shows that the A-extended algebra as well as the action algebra can be realized as the space of A-left invariant vector fields on a Lie group,analogous to the well known relationship of Lie algebras and Lie groups.     

关于Malcev代数的幂零性

We investigate the nilpotence of a Malcev algebra M and of its standard enveloping Lie algebra L(M)=M D(M, M). The main result shows that an ideal A of M is nilpotent in M if and only if the corresponding ideal Ⅰ(A) = A D(A, M)is nilpotent in L(M).     

On the Derivations of Filiform Leibniz Algebras

The algebras of derivations of naturally graded Leibniz algebras are described. The automorphism group of the Toeplitz algebra onH2(T2)

The automorphism group of the C^* -algebra generated by the Toeplitz operatos with symbols being continuous functions on the bicircle is characterized completely. The investigation is based on the analysis of the behaviour of an automorphism of the Toeplitz algebra on itsC* -ideal chains, and the state of the closed ideals in .     

关于Hom-李代数的结构

Let A be a multiplicative Hom-associative algebra and L a multiplicative Hom-Lie algebra together with surjective twisting maps. We show that if A is a sum of two commutative Hom-associative subalgebras, then the commutator Hom-ideal is nilpotent. Furthermore, we obtain an analogous result for Hom-Lie algebra L extending Kegel＇s Theorem. Finally, we discuss the Hom-Lie ideal structure of a simple Hom-associative algebra A by showing that any non-commutative Hom-Lie ideal of A must contain [A, A].
