提出了一个驱动托卡马克芯部等离子体极向旋转的新途径:用电子回旋波产生芯部等离子体极向旋转.物理机制如下:在高功率的电子回旋波加热的托卡马克等离子体中,共振局域化现象将产生极向电场从而形成极向外高内低的离子密度分布;这个极向离子的积累可以克服来自磁泵的阻尼而使等离子体极向旋转退稳定.从流体力学方程和漂移动力学方程中,得到了等离子体旋转退稳的判别式.结果表明现有的电子回旋波加热功率水平可以驱动芯部等离子体的极向旋转. 关键词:  相似文献

We investigate the linear propagation of a paraxial optical beam in anisotropic media. We start from the eigenmode solution of the plane wave in the media, then subsequently derive the wave equation for the beam propagating along a general direction except the optic axes. The wave equation contains a second-order mixed derivative term originating from the anisotropy, and this term can result in the rotation of the beam-spot. The rotation effect is investigated by solving analytically the wave equation with an initial elliptical Gaussian beam for both uniaxial and biaxial media. For both media, it is found that there exists a specific direction, which is dependent on anisotropy of the media, on the cross-section perpendicular to propagation direction to determine the rotation of the beam-spot. When the major axes of the elliptical beam-spot of the input beam are parallel to the specific direction, the beam-spot will not rotate during propagation, otherwise, it will rotate with the direction and the velocity determined by input parameters of the beam.  相似文献

A general equation of condition is derived for holographic setups for which recording and reconstruction are invariant with respect to given translations or rotations of the hologram. The solutions are stated and discussed. Using an astigmatic reference wave, there is a setup which combines invariances in two degrees of freedom of translation with two of rotation. The equilibrium of a toroidally rotating plasma in an axisymmetric tokamak-like system is considered. The equilibrium equation is represented in the form of the Grad-Shafranov equation in which, in contrast to the static case (with no plasma rotation), the plasma pressure depends on both the flux surface label and major radius. It is shown that the dependence of the pressure on the major radius makes it possible to choose the profile of the plasma rotation velocity so as to minimize the effect of the plasma pressure on the shift of the flux surfaces, in which case it might be anticipated that the maximum pressure of the confined plasma will be higher. This result was derived analytically and tested numerically for a number of typical tokamak configurations with a fixed plasma boundary.  相似文献

研究一类具有异宿轨道的非线性相对转动系统的分岔与混沌运动. 应用耗散系统的拉格朗日方程建立一类组合谐波激励作用下非线性相对转动系统的动力学方程. 利用多尺度法求解相对转动系统发生组合共振时满足的分岔响应方程并进行奇异性分析, 得到了系统稳态响应的转迁集. 根据相对转动系统异宿轨道参数方程, 求解了异宿轨道的Melnikov函数, 并给出了系统发生Smale马蹄变换意义下混沌的临界条件. 最后采用数值方法, 通过分岔图, 最大Lyapunov指数图, 相轨迹图和庞加莱截面图研究系统参数对混沌运动的影响.  相似文献

The use of the axial vector representing a three-dimensional rotation makes the rotation representation much more compact by extending the trigonometric functions to vectorial arguments. Similarly, the pure Lorentz transformations are compactly treated by generalizing a scalar rapidity to a vector quantity in spatial three-dimensional cases and extending hyperbolic functions to vectorial arguments. A calculation of the Wigner rotation simplified by using the extended functions illustrates the fact that the rapidity vector space obeys hyperbolic geometry. New representations bring a Lorentz-invariant fundamental equation of motion corresponding to the Galilei-invariant equation of Newtonian mechanics.  相似文献

A mechanism is proposed for rotation of magnetic assemblies by a torque consisting of the magnetic dipole moment of the assembly and a magnetic field generated from space–time in Einstein–Cartan–Evans (ECE) field theory. It is shown that when the magnetic assembly is stationary, the space–time is described by a Helmholtz wave equation in the tetrad as eigenfunction. This is a balance condition in which the Cartan torsion of the space–time is zero, but in which the tetrad and spin connection are non-zero. This balance may be broken by a driving current density produced by the magnetic assembly. The Helmholtz equation becomes an undamped oscillator equation. At resonance the torque on the magnetic assembly may be amplified sufficiently to cause the whole assembly to rotate, as observed experimentally in a repeatable and reproducible manner.  相似文献

A clamped-free flexible arm rotating in a horizontal plane and carrying a moving mass is studied in this paper. The arm is modelled by the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory in which rotatory inertia and shear deformation effects are ignored. The assumed mode method in conjunction with Hamilton's principle is used to derive the equation of motion of the system which takes into account the effect of centrifugal stiffening due to the rotation of the beam. The eigenfunctions of a cantilever beam which satisfy the prescribed geometric boundary conditions are used as basis functions in the assumed mode method. The equation of motion is expressed in non-dimensional matrix form. Pre-designed transformed cosine profiles are used as trajectory inputs for the hub angle and the moving mass. The equation of motion is solved numerically using the fourth order Runge-Kutta method. Graphical results are presented to show the influence of centrifugal stiffening effect, moving mass values, mass travelling time, hub angle and mass trajectory profile on the deflection of the beam.  相似文献

Based on the geodesic equation in a static spherically symmetric metric we discuss the rotation curve and gravitational lensing. The rotation curve determines one function in the metric without assuming Einstein’s equations. Then lensing is considered in the weak field approximation of general relativity. From the null geodesics we derive the lensing equation. The gravitational potential U(r) which determines the lensing is directly give by the rotation curve U(r) = −v 2(r). This allows to test general relativity on the scale of galaxies where dark matter is relevant.  相似文献

A Timoshenko beam finite element is presented which has three nodes and two degrees of freedom per node, namely the values of the lateral deflection and the cross-sectional rotation. The element properties are based on a coupled displacement field; the lateral deflection is interpolated as a quintic polynomial function and the cross-sectional rotation is linked to the deflection by specifying satisfaction of the governing differential equation of moment equilibrium in the absence of the rotary inertia term. Numerical results confirm that this procedure does not preclude convergence to true Timoshenko theory solutions since rotary inertia is included in lumped form at element ends. The new Timoshenko beam element has good convergence characteristics and where comparison can be made in numerical studies it is shown to be generally more efficient than previous elements.  相似文献

We use a simple model of Bullard-type disc dynamo, in which the disc rotation rate is subject to harmonic oscillations, to analyze the generation of magnetic field by the parametric resonance mechanism. The problem is governed by a damped Mathieu equation. The Floquet exponents, which define the magnetic field growth rates, are calculated depending on the amplitude and frequency of the oscillations. Firstly, we show that the dynamo can be excited at significantly subcritical disc rotation rate when the latter is subject to harmonic oscillations with a certain frequency. Secondly, at supercritical mean rotation rates, the dynamo can also be suppressed but only in narrow frequency bands and at sufficiently large oscillation amplitudes.  相似文献

A new approach is proposed to model the bulk movement of solids in rotary drums operating at low rotation speeds, in slumping and rolling regimes. The model yields an equation similar to Saeman's equation, but which is valid also for the slumping regime and active area in the rolling regime. The model was developed for constant depth using a control surface containing the steepest descent direction, so that any contribution from sliding particles to flow rate can be neglected. By considering an appropriate virtual kiln, the model is extended to the more general, variable depth situation.  相似文献

A general nuclear rotation including precession and wobbling motion is studied by the time-dependent variational method and a classical equation of motion is derived. The intrinsic wave function associated with the general rotational motion is constructed by making use of the constrained Hartree-Fock method and variables necessary in solving the equation are calculated.
