The structures of 8-G-1-(p-YC(6)H(4)Se)C(10)H(6) (1 (G = Cl) and 2 (G = Br): Y = H (a), OMe (b), Me (c), Cl (d), Br (e), COOEt (f), and NO(2) (g)) were investigated by X-ray crystallographic analysis, NMR spectroscopy, and ab initio MO calculations. The structures of all members in 1 and 2 are concluded to be type B, which is in striking contrast to the type A structure for 4d-g (4 (g(n)), where G = H). The Se-C(i) bond of the p-YC(6)H(4)Se group in 8-G-1-(p-YC(6)H(4)Se)C(10)H(6) is almost perpendicular to the naphthyl plane in type A, and it is located on the plane in type B. The chlorine and bromine substitution at the 8-position in 1 and 2 dramatically changes the type A structure of 4 (g(n)) to type B. The nonbonded G- - -Se-C 3c-4e type interaction must contribute to stabilize the type B structure. The type B structure in 1 and 2 should also be more stabilized than the same structure in 4 by the 3c-4e type interaction: The structure of 4b is type B in the crystals and type B would be more stable for 4c and might be for 4a in solutions. Ab initio MO calculations are performed on 8-G-1-(p-YC(6)H(4)Se)C(10)H(6), 8-G-C(10)H(6)SeH-1, and models HG- - -SeH(2), where G = Cl, Br, and F, to clarify the reason for the dramatic change in the structures. The type B structure is optimized to be more stable than the type A for all species examined, which supports the observations. The energy differences between type B and type A are larger for the models than for the naphthalenes. While the superiority of the type B for the former is Br > Cl > F, that of the latter is Br approximately Cl >/= F. These results show that the main factor of the structural change from type A to type B is the nonbonded G- - -Se-C 3c-4e interaction. The electronic effect of halogens through the naphthalene pi-framework would also contribute to some extent, although the direct comparison of the evaluated values between the naphthalene systems and the models is not so easy. Factors to stabilize the two structures of 1, 2, 4, and 8-(MeSe)-1-(p-YC(6)H(4)Se)C(10)H(6) are reexamined from a viewpoint of the nonbonded G- - -Se-C 3c-4e interaction (G dependence), together with the electronic effect of Y (Y dependence).  相似文献

To clarify the nature of five-center, six-electron (5c-6e) C(2)Z(2)O interactions, atoms-in-molecules (AIM) analysis has been applied to an anthraquinone, 1,8-(MeZ)(2)ATQ (1 (Z=Se), 2 (Z=S), and 3 (Z=O)), and a 9-methoxyanthracene system, 9-MeO-1,8-(MeZ)(2)ATC (4 (Z=Se), 5 (Z=S), and 6 (Z=O)), as well as 1-(MeZ)ATQ (7 (Z=Se), 8 (Z=S), and 9 (Z=O)) and 9-MeO-1-(MeZ)ATC (10 (Z=Se), 11 (Z=S), and 12 (Z=O)). The total electronic energy density (H(b)(r(c))) at the bond critical points (BCPs), an appropriate index for weak interactions, has been examined for 5c-6e C(2)Z(2)O and 3c-4e CZO interactions of the n(p)(O)sigma*(Z--C) type in 1-12. Some hydrogen-bonded adducts were also re-examined for convenience of comparison. The total electronic energy densities varied in the following order: OO (3: H(b)(r(c))=0.0028 au)=OO (6: 0.0028 au)>OO (9: 0.0025 au)> or =NNHF (0.0024 au)> or =OO (12: 0.0023 au)>H(2)OHOH (0.0015 au)>SO (8: 0.0013 au)=SO (2: 0.0013 au)> or =SO (11: 0.0012 au)=SO (5: 0.0012 au)>HFHF (0.0008 au)=SeO (10: 0.0008 au)=SeO (4: 0.0008 au)> or =SeO (1: 0.0007 au)> or =SeO (7: 0.0006 au)>HCNHF (-0.0013 au). H(b)(r(c)) values for SO were predicted to be smaller than the hydrogen bond of H(2)OHOH and H(b)(r(c)) values for SeO are very close to or slightly smaller than that for HFHF in both the ATQ and 9-MeOATC systems. In the case of Z=Se and S, H(b)(r(c)) values for 5c-6e C(2)Z(2)O interactions are essentially equal to those for 3c-4e CZO if Z is the same. The results demonstrate that two n(p)(O)sigma*(Z--C) 3c-4e interactions effectively connect through the central n(p)(O) orbital to form the extended hypervalent 5c-6e system of the sigma*(C--Z)n(p)(O)sigma*(Z--C) type for Z=Se and S in both systems. Natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis revealed that n(s)(O) also contributes to some extent. The electron charge densities at the BCPs, NBO analysis, and the total energies calculated for 1-12, together with the structural changes in the PhSe derivatives, support the above discussion.  相似文献

Starting from 1,3-dimethyl-4-imidazoline-2-selone (1), 1,2-bis(2-selenoxo-3-methyl-4-imidazolinyl-2-)ethane (3) and 1,3-dimethylimidazolidine-2-selone (4), the following six compounds, [(C(5)H(8)N(2)Se-)(2)](2+).2Br(-) (I), [(C(5)H(8)N(2)Se-)(2)](2+).2I(-) (II), [(C(5)H(8)N(2)Se-)(2)](2+).Cl(-).I(3)(-) (III) [(C(5)H(10)N(2)Se-)(2)](2+).Br(-).IBr(2)(-) (IV), [(C(5)H(7)N(2)Se-)(2)](2+).I(3)(-).(1)/(2)I(4)(-) (V) and [(C(5)H(7)N(2)Se-)(2)](2+).2I(-).CH(3)CN (VI), in which the selenium compounds are oxidized to dications bearing the uncommon -Se-Se- bridge, have been prepared, and I-V crystallographically characterized. I and III were obtained by reacting 1 with IBr and ICl respectively, while II was obtained by reduction of previously described hypervalent selenium compound of 1 (5) bearing the I-Se-I group with elemental tellurium. These three compounds contain the same [(C(5)H(8)N(2)Se-)(2)](2+) dication balanced by two bromides in I, two iodides in II, and Cl(-) and I(3)(-) in III. However, on the basis of the Se-Cl bond length of 2.778(5) ?, III can also be considered as formed by the [(C(5)H(8)N(2)Se-)(2)Cl](+) cation, with I(3)(-) as counterion. Similarly to III, compound IV, which was obtained by reacting 4 with IBr, can be considered as formed by [(C(5)H(10)N(2)Se-)(2)Br](+) cations and IBr(2)(-) anions. As in II, compound V has been prepared by reduction of the hypervalent selenium compound of 3 (6) bearing two I-Se-I groups with elemental tellurium. In V, the [(C(5)H(7)N(2)Se-)(2)](2+) cation is balanced by I(3)(-) and half I(4)(2-) anions. The structural data show that all the cations are very similar, with Se-Se bond lengths ranging from 2.409(2) to 2.440(2) ?. FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra of I-VI allow one to identify two bands around 230 +/- 10 and 193 +/- 5 cm(-1) that are common to all compounds. These bands are generally strong in the FT-Raman and weak in the FT-IR spectra and should contain a contribution of the nu(Se-Se) stretching vibration. The spectra are also in good agreement with the structural features of the polyhalide anions present in the crystals. Crystallographic data are as follows: I is monoclinic, space group P2(1), with a = 9.849(6) ?, b = 11.298(5) ?, c = 7.862(6) ?, beta = 106.44(2) degrees, Z = 2, and R = 0.0362; II is monoclinic, space group P2(1), with a = 8.063(6) ?, b = 11.535(5) ?, c = 10.280(5) ?, beta = 107.13(2) degrees, Z = 2, and R = 0.0429, III is monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, with a = 10.431(7) ?, b = 18.073(5) ?, c = 11.223(6) ?, beta = 100.76(2) degrees, Z = 4, and R = 0.0490; IV is monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, with a = 10.298(5) ?, b = 18.428(7) ?, c = 11.475(6) ?, beta = 104.10(4) degrees, Z = 4, and R = 0.0300; V is triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, with a = 7.456(6) ?, b = 11.988(5) ?, c = 12.508(5) ?, alpha = 79.32(2) degrees, beta = 85.49(2) degrees, gamma = 80.62(2) degrees, Z = 2, and R = 0.0340.  相似文献

Borate anions, B(OH)(-)(4), are known to associate with alkali and alkaline-earth metal cations in sea-water. The borate cation ion-pairs are of the general form MB(OH)((n-1)+)(4), where M(n+) is the cation. In this work, the cation borate stability constants (K*(MB)) have been evaluated for Na(+), Li(+), Mg(2+), Ca(2+) and Sr(2+) where K*(MB) = [MB(OH(4))((n-1)+)]/[M(n+)][B(OH)(-)(4)]. The K*(MB) values were obtained from values found for the stability constant of boric acid (K*(B)) in various electrolyte media at 25 degrees and an ionic strength of 0.7. Acid-base potentiometric titrations were performed in the electrolyte media with a standard Pt/H(2) electrode and a junctionless Ag/AgCl reference electrode to monitor the emf. A non-approximative equation was used to linearize the titration data. The values obtained were: K*(Lib) = 0.89 +/- 0.02, K*(NaB) = 0.44 +/- 0.01, K*(MgB) = 13.6 +/- 0.7, K*(CaB) = 11.4 +/- 0.15, K*(SrB) = 3.47 +/- 0.06. The values for K*(MB) correlate with the charge-density parameter z(2)/(r + 0.85), where r is the radius of the cation. The speciation of boron in sea-water was predicted from the K*(MB), data for the major cations present.  相似文献

The homoleptic diamagnetic complexes M(mer-L)(2), M = Cr, Mo,W (1a,b, 2a,b, and 4a,b), were obtained by reacting the hexacarbonyls M(CO)(6) with the tridentate ligands 2-[(2-N-arylamino)phenylazo]pyridine (HL = NH(4)C(5)N=NC(6)H(4)N(H)C(6)H(4)(H) (HL(a)) or NH(4)C(5)N=NC(6)H(4)N(H)C(6)H(4)(CH(3)) (HL(b))) in refluxing n-octane. In the case of M = Mo, the dinuclear compounds [Mo(L)(pap)](2)(mu-O) (3a,b) (pap = 2-(phenylazo)pyridine), were obtained as second products in moist solvent. X-ray diffraction analysis for Cr(L(b))(2) (1b), Mo(L(a))(2) (2a), and W(L(a))(2) (4a) reveals considerably distorted-octahedral structures with trans-positioned azo-N atoms and cis-positioned 2-pyridyl-N and anilido nitrogen atoms. Whereas the N(azo)-M-N(azo) angle is larger than 170 degrees, the other two trans angles are smaller, at about 155 degrees (M = Cr, 1b) or 146 degrees (M = Mo, W; 2a, 4a), due to the overarching bite of the mer-tridentate ligands. The bonds from M to the neutral 2-pyridyl-N atoms are distinctly longer by more than 0.08 A than those to the anilido or azo nitrogen atoms, reflecting negative charge on the latter. The N-N bond distances vary between 1.339(2) A for 1b and 1.373(3) A for 4a, clearly indicating the azo radical anion oxidation state. Considering the additional negative charge on anilido-N, the mononuclear complexes are thus formulated as M(IV)(L*(2-))(2). The diamagnetism of the complexes as shown by magnetic susceptibility and (1)H NMR experiments is believed to result from spin-spin coupling between the trans-positioned azo radical functions, resulting in a singlet diradical situation. The experimental structures are well reproduced by density functional theory calculations, which also support the overall electronic structure indicated. The dinuclear 3a with N-N distances of 1.348(10) A for L(a) and 1.340(9) A for pap is also formulated as an azo anion radical-containing molybdenum(IV) species, i.e., [Mo(IV)(L*(2-))(pap*-)](2)(mu-O). All compounds can be reversibly reduced; the Cr complexes 1a,b are also reversibly oxidized in two steps. Electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy indicates metal-centered spin for 1a+ and 1a- and g approximately 2 signals for 2a-, 3a+, 3a-, and 4a-. Spectroelectrochemistry in the UV-vis-NIR region showed small changes for the reduction of 2a, 3a, and 4a but extensive spectral changes for the reduction and oxidation of 1a.  相似文献

Glutathione peroxidase (GPX) is an important antioxidant enzyme, which plays an important role in scavenging reactive oxygen species. To obtain humanized GPX catalytic antibodies, the phage displayed human antibody library on the surface of the filamentous bacteriophage was used to select novel antibodies by repetitive screening. Phage antibodies B8, H6 and C1 with the GSH-binding site were obtained from the library by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) analysis with four rounds of selection against three haptens, S-2,4-dinitrophenyl t-butyl ester [GSH-S-DNP-Bu (B)], S-2,4-dinitrophenyl t-hexyl ester [GSH-S-DNP-He (H)] and S-2,4-dinitrophenyl cycle-hexyl ester [GSH-S-DNP-cHe (C)], and characterized using surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor. The gold layer was modified by dithiodiglycolic acid (DDA) and three haptens were easily attached to DDA by self-assembling to form a biosensor membrane. The membrane bounds specifically corresponding antibodies. The kinetic process of the reaction between phage antibodies and their haptens was studied by SPR biosensor. In order to improve selectivity, chemical modification was used to incorporate directly catalytic group selenocysteine (Sec) into selected phage clone B8, H6 and C1 to form Se-B8, Se-H6 and Se-C1, respectively. The GPX activities of Se-B8, Se-H6 and Se-C1 were found to be 3000, 2000 and 700 units/μmol, respectively. Compared with conventional ELISA analysis, the proposed method based on SPR biosensor is much more rapid and simpler.  相似文献

Cyclohexane (1), oxygen-, sulfur-, and/or nitrogen-containing six-membered heterocycles 2-5, cyclohexanone (6), and cyclohexanone derivatives 7-16 were studied theoretically [B3LYP/6-31G(d,p) and PP/IGLO-III//B3LYP/6-31G(d,p) methods] to determine the structural (in particular C-H bond distances) and spectroscopic (specifically, one bond (1)J(C-H) NMR coupling constants) consequences of stereoelectronic hyperconjugative effects. The results confirm the importance of n(X) --> sigma*(C-H)(app) (where X = O, N), sigma(C-H)(ax) --> pi*(C=O), sigma(S-C) --> sigma*(C-H)(app), sigma(C-S)-->sigma*(C-H)(app), beta-n(O) --> sigma*(C-H), and sigma(C-H) --> sigma*(C-H)(app) hyperconjugation, as advanced in previous theoretical models. Calculated r(C-H) bond lengths and (1)J(C-H) coupling constants for C-H bonds participating in more than one hyperconjugative interaction show additivity of the effects.  相似文献

In contrast to the neutral macrocycle [UN*(2)(N,C)] (1) [N* = N(SiMe(3))(3); N,C = CH(2)SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))] which was quite inert toward I(2), the anionic bismetallacycle [NaUN*(N,C)(2)] (2) was readily transformed into the enlarged monometallacycle [UN*(N,N)I] (4) [N,N = (Me(3)Si)NSiMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))] resulting from C-C coupling of the two CH(2) groups, and [NaUN*(N,O)(2)] (3) [N,O = OC(═CH(2))SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))], which is devoid of any U-C bond, was oxidized into the U(V) bismetallacycle [Na{UN*(N,O)(2)}(2)(μ-I)] (5). Sodium amalgam reduction of 4 gave the U(III) compound [UN*(N,N)] (6). Addition of MN(3) or MCN to the (N,C), (N,N), and (N,O) metallacycles 1, 4, and 5 led to the formation of the anionic azide or cyanide derivatives M[UN*(2)(N,C)(N(3))] [M = Na, 7a or Na(15-crown-5), 7b], M[UN*(2)(N,C)(CN)] [M = NEt(4), 8a or Na(15-crown-5), 8b or K(18-crown-6), 8c], M[UN*(N,N)(N(3))(2)] [M = Na, 9a or Na(THF)(4), 9b], [NEt(4)][UN*(N,N)(CN)(2)] (10), M[UN*(N,O)(2)(N(3))] [M = Na, 11a or Na(15-crown-5), 11b], M[UN*(N,O)(2)(CN)] [M = NEt(4), 12a or Na(15-crown-5), 12b]. In the presence of excess iodine in THF, the cyanide 12a was converted back into the iodide 5, while the azide 11a was transformed into the neutral U(V) complex [U(N{SiMe(3)}SiMe(2)C{CHI}O)(2)I(THF)] (13). The X-ray crystal structures of 4, 7b, 8a-c, 9b, 10, 12b, and 13 were determined.  相似文献

The coordinating properties of the diaminocarbene (A) and phosphonium ylide (B) ligand types have been investigated systematically through a test family of C,C-chelating ligands containing two moieties of either kind. The overall character of o-C6H4A(a)B(b) ligands (a + b = 2) has been analyzed from the IR CO stretching frequencies of isostructural complexes [(eta(2)-C6H4A(a)B(b))Rh(CO)2][TfO]. The test moieties A = NC2H2N(+)(Me)C(-) and B = Ph2P(+)CH2(-) were first considered. While the ligands bearing at least one diaminocarbene end (AA, a = 2 and AB, a = 1) could be generated (and trapped by complexation), the bis-ylide case BB (a = 0) proved to be awkward: treatment of the dication C6H4(P(+)Ph2Me)2 with n-BuLi indeed lead to the Schmidbaur's carbodiphosphorane Ph3PCPPh2Me, through an unprecendented ylido-pentacoordinated phosphorane which could be fully characterized by NMR techniques. The bis-ylide ligand type C6H4B2 could however be generated by bridging the phosphonium methyl groups by a methylene link (B2 = (P(+)Ph2CH(-))2CH2), preventing the formation of the analogous highly strained carbodiphosphorane. The three complexes [(eta(2)-C6H4A(a)B(b))Rh(CO)2][TfO] were fully characterized, including by X-ray diffraction analysis and (103)Rh NMR spectroscopy. Comparison of their IR spectra indicated that the A2 type bis-NHC ligand is less donating than the hybrid AB type, which is itself less donating than the B2 type bis-ylide ligand. The excellent linear variation of the nu(CO) frequencies vs a (= 0, 1, 2) shows that the coordinating moieties act in a pseudoindependent way. This was confirmed by DFT calculations at the B3PW91/6-31G**/LANL2DZ*(Rh) level. It is therefore demonstrated that a phosphonium ylide ligand is a stronger donor than a diaminocarbene ligand.  相似文献

The disubstitution effects of X and Y in 1-(Y-phenyl)-3-(X-phenyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-naphth[1,2-e][1,3]oxazines on the ring-chain tautomerism, the delocalization of the nitrogen lone pair (anomeric effect), and the (13)C NMR chemical shifts were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. Study of the three-component equilibrium B<==>A<==>C revealed that the chain<==>trans (A<==>B) equilibrium constants are significantly influenced by the inductive effect (sigma(F)) of substituent Y on the 1-phenyl ring. In contrast, no significant substituent dependence on Y was observed for the chain<==>cis (A<==>C) equilibrium. There was an analogous dependence for the epimerization (C<==>B) constants of 1-(Y-phenyl)-3-alkyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-naphth[1,2-e][1,3]oxazines. With these model compounds, significant overlapping energies of the nitrogen lone pair was observed by NBO analysis in the trans forms B (to sigma*(C1-C1'), sigma*(C1-C10b), and sigma*(C3-O4)) and in the cis forms C (to sigma*(C1-H), sigma*(C1-C10b), and sigma*(C3-O4)). The effects of disubstitution revealed some characteristic differences between the cis and trans isomers. However, the results do not suggest that the anomeric effect predominates in the preponderance of the trans over the cis isomer. When the (13)C chemical shift changes induced by substituents X and Y (SCS) were subjected to multiple linear regression analysis, negative rho(F)(Y) and rho(F)(X) values were observed at C-1 and C-3 for both the cis and trans isomers. In contrast, the positive rho(R)(Y) values at C-1 and the negative rho(R)(X) values at C-3 observed indicated the contribution of resonance structures f (rho(R) > 0) and g (rho(R) < 0), respectively. The classical double bond-no-bond resonance structures proved useful in explaining the substituent sensitivities of the donation energies and the behavior of the SCS values.  相似文献

Hydrolysis of mixtures consisting of sodium borohydride NaBH(4) (SB) and ammonia borane NH(3)BH(3) (AB) was studied in the absence/presence of a Co catalyst. The kinetics of the H(2) evolutions was measured. The reactions were followed in situ by solution-state (11)B NMR and the hydrolysis by-products characterized by NMR, XRD and IR. It is demonstrated that the combination of the two compounds gives a synergetic effect. SB rapidly reduces the Co catalyst precursor and the NH(4)(+) ions from AB contribute in the dispersion of the in situ formed Co nanoparticles. As a result, the kinetics of H(2) evolution is greatly improved. For instance, a hydrogen generation rate of 29.6 L min(-1) g(-1)(Co) was found for a mixture consisting of 81 wt% NH(3)BH(3), 9 wt% NaBH(4) and 10 wt% CoCl(2). By (11)B NMR, it was showed that the reaction mechanisms are quite trivial. As soon as the Co catalyst forms in situ, SB, rather than AB, hydrolyzes until it is totally converted. Then, the overall hydrolysis continues with that of AB. Both reactions follow a bimolecular Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism; no reaction intermediates were observed during the process. In fact, SB and AB convert directly into B(OH)(4)(-), which comes in equilibrium with a polyborate compound identified as B(3)O(3)(OH)(4)(-). All of these results are discussed herein.  相似文献

The bonding environment of boron is usually thought about in terms of localized 2c-2e/3c-2e bonding (as in diborane) or completely delocalized polyhedral bonding (as in B(12)H(12)(2)(-)). Recently, a number of boron compounds having a rhomboidal B(4) framework have been synthesized; these show an amazing variation in their skeletal electron count, one that cannot be interpreted in familiar ways. In this report, we systematically explore the origin of the range of electron counts in these compounds. We find that four skeletal MOs are primarily responsible for keeping the B(4) skeleton together. As a subunit in a macropolyhedral environment, termed rhombo-B(4), such an arrangement of B atoms deviates from Wade's rule by three electron pairs (if treated as a distorted arachno system derived from B(6)H(6)(2)(-)). Aided by this analysis, we examine the nature of bonding in Na(3)B(20), where the rhombo-B(4) unit forms linear chains fusing closo-B(7) units. Theory suggests that this structure requires one more electron per formula unit for optimal bonding. Finally, we study the nature of bonding in beta-SiB(3), where silicon atoms also adopt the rhomboid framework.  相似文献

Reaction of RuHCl(PPh(3))(2)(diamine) (1a, diamine = (R,R)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane, (R,R)-dach; 1b, diamine = ethylenediamine, en) with KO(t)Bu in benzene quickly generates solutions of the amido-amine complexes RuH(PPh(3))(2)(NHC(6)H(10)NH(2)), (2a'), and RuH(PPh(3))(2)(NHCH(2)CH(2)NH(2)), (2b'), respectively. These solutions react with dihydrogen to first produce the trans-dihydrides (OC-6-22)-Ru(H)(2)(PPh(3))(2)(diamine) (t,c-3a, t,c-3b). Cold solutions (-20 degrees C) containing trans-dihydride t,c-3a react with acetophenone under Ar to give (S)-1-phenylethanol (63% ee). Complexes t,c-3 have lifetimes of less than 10 min at 20 degrees and then isomerize to the cis-dihydride, cis-bisphosphine isomers (OC-6-32)-Ru(H)(2)(PPh(3))(2)(diamine) (Delta/Lambda-c,c-3a, c,c-3b). A solution containing mainly Delta/Lambda-c,c-3a reacts with acetophenone under Ar to give (S)-1-phenylethanol in 20% ee, whereas it is an active precatalyst for its hydrogenation under 5 atm H(2) to give 1-phenylethanol with an ee of 50-60%. Complexes c,c-3 isomerize to the cis-dihydride, trans-bisphosphine complexes (OC-6-13)-Ru(H)(2)(PPh(3))(2)(diamine) (c,t-3a, c,t-3b) with half-lives of 40 min and 1 h, respectively. A mixture of Delta/Lambda-c,c-3a and c,t-3a can also be obtained by reaction of 1a with KBH(Bu(sec))(3). A solution of complex c,t-3a in benzene under Ar reacts very slowly with acetophenone. These results indicate that the trans-dihydrides t,c-3a or t,c-3b along with the corresponding amido-amine complexes 2a' or 2b' are the active hydrogenation catalysts in benzene, while the cis-dihydrides c,c-3a or c,c-3b serve as precatalysts. The complexes RuCl(2)(PPh(3))(2)((R,R)-dach) or 1a, when activated by KO(t)Bu, are also sources of the active catalysts. A study of the kinetics of the hydrogenation of acetophenone in benzene catalyzed by 3a indicates a rate law: rate = k[c,c-3a](initial)[H(2)] with k = 7.5 M(-1) s(-1). The turnover-limiting step appears to be the reaction of 2a' with dihydrogen as it is for RuH(NHCMe(2)CMe(2)NH(2))(PPh(3))(2) (2c'). The catalysts are more active in 2-propanol, even without added base, and the kinetic behavior is complicated. The basic cis-dihydride c,t-3a reacts with [NEt(3)H]BPh(4) to produce the dihydrogen complex (OC-14)-[Ru(eta(2)-H(2))(H)(PPh(3))(2)((R,R)-dach)]BPh(4) (4) and with diphenylphosphinic acid to give the complex RuH(O(2)PPh(2))(PPh(3))(2)((R,R)-dach) (5). The structure of 5 models aspects of the transition state structure for the ketone hydrogenation step. Complex 2b' decomposes rapidly under Ar to give dihydrides 3b along with a dinuclear complex (PPh(3))(2)HRu(mu-eta(2);eta(4)-NHCHCHNH)RuH(PPh(3))(2) (6) containing a rare, bridging 1,4-diazabutadiene group. The formation of an imine by beta-hydride elimination from the amido-amine ligand of 2a' under Ar might explain some loss of enantioselectivity of the catalyst. The structures of complexes 1a, 5, and 6 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The treatment of binuclear complexes [Cp*(2)M(2)(μ-QA)Cl(2)] (M = Ir, 2a; M = Rh, 2b) (H(2)QA = 1,4-dihydroxyanthraquinone) with pyrazine or bifuncational pyridyl-based ligands (4,4'-dipyridine (bpy), E-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethene (bpe), 2,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (bpo), and 2,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol (bpt)) in the presence of AgOTf (OTf = CF(3)SO(3)) in CH(3)OH, gave the corresponding tetra-nuclear complexes, with a general formula of [Cp*(4)M(4)(μ-QA)(2)(μ-L)(2)](OTf)(4) (M = Ir, 3a-7a; M = Rh, 3b-7b), respectively. The molecular structure of [Cp*(4)Ir(4)(μ-QA)(2)(μ-pyrazine)(2)](OTf)(4) (3a) has been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis, revealing that the metal centers were connected by pyrazine and bis-bidentate QA(2-) ligands to construct a rectangular cavity with the dimension of 7.30 × 8.41 × 6.92 ?. Complexes 3a and 3b were found to exhibit selective trapping of halocarbons properties.  相似文献

Cp*ZrMe3 reacts with silica pretreated at 800 degrees C, SiO(2-(800)) through two pathways: (a) protolysis of a Zr-Me group by surface silanols and (b) transfer of a methyl group to the surface by opening of strained siloxane bridges, in a relative proportion of ca. 9/1, respectively, affording a well-defined surface species [([triple bond]SiO)ZrCp*(Me)2], 3, but with two different local environments 3a, [([triple bond]SiO)ZrCp*(Me)2][[triple bond]Si-O-Si[triple bond]], and the other with 3b, [structure: see text]. The reaction of the species 3 with B(C6F5)3 is controlled by this local environment and gives three surface species [([triple bond]SiO)ZrCp*(Me)](+)[MeB(C6F5)3]- [[triple bond]Si-O-Si[triple bond]], 4a (20%), [([triple bond]SiO)ZrCp*(Me)](+)[(Me)B(C6F5)3]- [[triple bond]Si-Me], 4b (10%), and [([triple bond]SiO)2ZrCp*](+)[(Me)B(C6F5)(3)](-)[[triple bond]Si-O-Si[triple bond]], 5 (70%). On the contrary, the reaction of Cp*Zr(Me)3, Cp2Zr(Me)2 with [[triple bond]SiO-B(C6F5)3](-)[HNEt2Ph]+, 6, leads to a unique species [([triple bond]SiO)B(C6F5)3](-)[Cp*Zr(Me)2.NEt2Ph]+, 7, and [([triple bond]SiO)ZrCp2](+)[(Me)B(C6F5)3]-, 9 respectively. The complexes 4 and 7 are active catalysts in ethylene polymerization at room temperature, 93 and 67 kg PE mol Zr1- atm(-1) bar(-1), respectively, indicating that covalently bounded Zr catalyst 4 is slightly more active than the "floating" cationic catalyst 7.  相似文献

Poly(benzyl ether) dendrimers with a 1,4,7-triazacyclononane (TACN) focal core (Ln(3)TACN, 2a-4a) and nondendritic L1(3)TACN (1a), upon reaction with FeCl(2), followed by NaOAc and NH(4)PF(6), afforded mononuclear iron(II) complexes [Fe(II)(eta(2)-OAc)(Ln(3)TACN)](+) (1b-4b), which were oxidized under O(2) to form dinuclear (mu-O)(mu-OAc)(2)diiron(III) complexes (1c-4c) in 54-74% isolated yields. The formation of 1c-4c obeyed second-order kinetics with respect to 1b-4b, respectively, where the observed rate constants (k(2)) were clearly dependent on the generation number of the dendritic substituents. Photoirradiation of 1c-4c in the presence of NaOAc gave diiron(II) complexes (1d-4d), which were reoxidized to 1c-4c by O(2), following first-order kinetics with respect to 1d-4d, respectively. The crystal structure of nondendritic 1cshowed that the diiron(III) center is surrounded by an aromatic wall of the six 3,5-dimethoxybenzyl substituents, while spectroscopic profiles of dendritic 2c-4c suggested that the geometries of their diiron(III) centers are little different from that of 1c. The diiron(III) center of the largest 4c was highly robust toward alkaline hydrolysis and also insulated electrochemically.  相似文献

A facile reaction of cis-trans-cis-RuCl(2)(RaaiR')(2) [RaaiR'=1-alkyl-2-(arylazo)imidazole, m-R-C(6)H(4)-NN-C(3)H(2)-NN-1-R', where R=H (a), OMe (b), NO(2) (c) and R'=Me (1), Et (2) and CH(2)Ph (3)] either with 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) and AgNO(3) followed by NaClO(4) or [Ag(bpy)(2)](ClO(4)) in boiling acetone has isolated red-brown [Ru(bpy)(RaaiR')(2)](ClO(4))(2) (1a-c, 2a-c, 3a-c). The maximum molecular peak of [Ru(bpy)(OMeaaiMe)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (1b) is observed at m/z 888.01 (100%) in the FAB mass spectrum. IR spectra of the complexes show CN and NN stretching at 1590 and 1370cm(-1) which is red shifted by 40 and 90cm(-1) from the free ligand value supports Ru-azo nitrogen pi bonding interaction. The emission spectra in frozen glass (77K) are sharper and considerably more intense than the room temperature spectra. The (1)H NMR spectral measurements suggest methylene, -CH(2)-, in RaaiEt gives a complex AB type multiplet while in RaaiCH(2)Ph it shows AB type quartets. Considering two arylazoimidazole moieties there are 20 different carbon atoms in the molecule which gives a total of 20 different peaks in the (13)C NMR spectrum. In the (1)H-(1)H COSY spectrum of the present complexes, absence of any off-diagonal peaks extending from delta=14.12 and 9.55ppm confirm their assignment of no proton on N(1) and N(3), respectively. Contour peaks in the (1)H-(13)C HMQC spectrum in the present complexes, the absence of any contours at delta=147.12, 160.76, 155.67 and 157.68 ppm assign them to the C(2), C(6), C(8) and C(e and e') carbon atoms, respectively. Cyclic voltammogram shows Ru(III)/Ru(II) redox couple along with three successive ligand reductions. The plot of difference in potential of first oxidation and reduction versus energy of main MLCT band (nu(CT)) is linear. Electrochemical parametrisation of Ru(III)/Ru(II) redox couple determines ligand potential E(L)(L).  相似文献

The two-electron oxidation of the lithium salts of the heterodichalcogenidoimidodiphosphinate anions [(EP (i)Pr 2)(TeP (i)Pr 2)N] (-) ( 1a, E = S; 1b, E = Se) with iodine yields cyclic cations [(EP (i)Pr 2)(TeP (i)Pr 2)N] (+) as their iodide salts [(SP (i)Pr 2)(TeP (i)Pr 2)N]I ( 2a) and [(SeP (i)Pr 2)(TeP (i)Pr 2)N]I ( 2b). The five-membered rings in 2a and 2b both display an elongated E-Te bond as a consequence of an interaction between tellurium and the iodide anion. One-electron reduction of 2a and 2b with cobaltocene produces the neutral dimers (EP (i)Pr 2NP (i)Pr 2Te-) 2 ( 3a, E = S; 3b, E = Se), which are connected exclusively through a Te-Te bond. Two-electron reduction of 2a and 2b with 2 equiv of cobaltocene regenerates the corresponding dichalcogenidoimidodiphosphinate anions as ion-separated cobaltocenium salts Cp 2Co[(EP (i)Pr 2)(TeP (i)Pr 2)N] ( 4a, E = S; 4b, E = Se). The ditellurido analogue Cp 2Co[(TeP (i)Pr 2) 2N] ( 4c) has been prepared in the same manner for comparison. Density functional theory calculations reveal that the preferential interaction of the iodide anion with tellurium is determined by the polarization of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital [sigma*(E-Te)] of the cations in 2a and 2b toward tellurium and that the formation of the dimers 3a and 3b with a central Te-Te linkage is energetically more favorable than the structural isomers with either E-Te or E-E bonds. Compounds 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, and 4c have been characterized in solution by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and in the solid state by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Treatment of Cp*RuCl(kappa2-P,N-2b) (2b = 2-NMe2-3-PiPr2-indene) with TlSO3CF3 produced the cyclometalated complex [4]+SO3CF3- in 94% isolated yield. Exposure of [4]+X- (X = B(C6F5)4 or SO3CF3) to Ph2SiH2 (10 equiv) or PhSiH3 afforded the corresponding [Cp*(mu-P,N-2b)(H)2Ru=SiRPh]+X- complexes, [5]+X- (R = Ph; X = B(C6F5)4, 82%; X = SO3CF3, 39%) and [6]+X- (R = H; X = B(C6F5)4, 94%; X = SO3CF3, 95%). Notably, these transformations represent the first documented examples of Ru-mediated silylene extrusion via double geminal Si-H bond activation of an organosilane-a key step in the recently proposed Glaser-Tilley (G-T) alkene hydrosilylation mechanism. Treatment of [5]+B(C6F5)4- with KN(SiMe3)2 or [6]+SO3CF3- with NaN(SiMe3)2 afforded the corresponding zwitterionic Cp*(mu-2-NMe2-3-PiPr2-indenide)(H)2Ru=SiRPh complex in 69% (R = Ph, 7) or 86% (R = H, 8) isolated yield. Both [6]+X- and 8 proved unreactive toward 1-hexene and styrene and provided negligible catalytic turnover in the attempted metal-mediated hydrosilylation of these substrates with PhSiH3, thereby providing further empirical evidence for the required intermediacy of base-free Ru=Si species in the G-T mechanism. Isomerization of the P,N-indene ligand backbone in [6]+X-, giving rise to [Cp*(mu-1-PiPr2-2-NMe2-indene)(H)2Ru=SiHPh]+X- ([9]+X-), was observed. In the case of [9]+SO3CF3-, net intramolecular addition of the Ru=Si-H group across the styrene-like C=C unit within the ligand backbone to give 10 (96% isolated yield) was observed. Crystallographic characterization data are provided for [4]+X-, [5]+X-, [6]+X-, 8, and 10.  相似文献
