A further development of ideas on an ionic mechanism for the activation of certain relaxation processes in recombination luminescence of alkali halide phosphor crystals is presented. It is shown that each stage of the thermal discoloration process in the phosphor crystals corresponds to disruption of the F-band in an isolated microsection of the specimen. The effect of the degree of plastic deformation on the relative proportions of F-center concentrations on various microregions of the crystal was investigated. The effect of impurity ions, of their concentration, arid of the crystal plastic deformation on the photothermal stability of the F-centers and on the thermal quenching of luminescence during photoexcitation of activator color centers in NaCl-Ag phosphor crystals was also studied.  相似文献

Using the concept of thermal and photothermal destruction of color centers in alkali-halide phosphors as an ion mechanism, certain formulas are examined which represent these processes. The phenomenon of thermal and photothermal destruction of F-color centers is investigated experimentally for the case of NaCl-Ag. A comparison of the experimental results obtained with the theory enabled an estimate to be made of a number of kinetic characteristics of the processes in question.The results obtained confirm the usefulness of the idea of ion processes in explaining the phenomena of relaxation in alkali-halide crystal phosphors.  相似文献

Er3+ doped ZnO-CaO-Al2O3 nano-composite phosphor has been synthesized through combustion method and its emission and harmonic generation properties have been studied. The X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis techniques have been used to prove the dual phase (ZnO and CaO-Al2O3) nature of the phosphor. The phosphor has shown up-conversion emission on near-infra-red (976 nm) excitation and down-conversion emission on 355 nm excitation in presence of Er3+ and thus behaves as a dual mode phosphor. On excitation with 976 nm diode laser, material shows color tunability (calcination of composite material at different temperatures). Formation of ZnO nanocrystals on heat treatment of as-synthesized sample has shown its characteristic emission at 388 nm and also the energy transfer from ZnO to Er3+ ions. The low temperature emission measurements have been carried out and the results have been discussed. Phosphor has shown strong second harmonic generation (SHG) at 532 nm on 1064 nm and at 266 nm on 532 nm excitation.  相似文献

A new phosphor, CaZnGe2O6:Mn2+, which emits red long-lasting phosphorescence centered at 648 nm upon UV light excitation, is prepared by the conventional high-temperature solid-state method and its luminescent properties are systematically investigated in this paper. XRD, photoluminescence, thermoluminescence spectra and afterglow decay curve are used to characterize the synthesized phosphor. This phosphor is well crystallized by calcination at 1150 °C for 3 h and possesses excellent performance. The color coordinate values of this phosphor are x=0.64, y=0.26 under 250 nm UV light excitation. Under 250-nm UV light irradiation, this phosphor shows obvious long-lasting phosphorescence that can be seen with the naked eye in the dark clearly after the irradiation source has been removed for more than 3 h. The possible mechanism of this red-light-emitting long-afterglow phosphor is also investigated based on the experiment results.  相似文献

We report the generation of efficient white light based on upconversion (UC) in Tm3+/Er3+/Yb3+:Y2O3 nanocrystalline phosphor synthesized by simple and cost effective solution combustion technique on 976 nm laser excitation. The calculated color coordinates (using 1931 CIE standard) for samples annealed at different temperatures vary from (0.16, 0.30) to (0.32, 0.33) with dopant concentration, annealing temperature and the pump power; thus providing a wide color tunability including the white one. White emission is observed even at a very low laser power (60 mW). The maximum upconversion efficiency obtained for white emission is 2.79% with the color coordinates (0.30, 0.32) at laser power of 420 mW which is quite close to the standard white color coordinates.  相似文献

Orange-emitting Sr3Al2O5Cl2:Eu2+ phosphors were synthesized by a high-temperature solid-state reaction. The excitation spectrum shows a broad band from the UV region to the blue region. The emission spectrum shows strong orange emission peaking at 610 nm, attributed to the d–f transition of the Eu2+ ion. By combining the Sr3Al2O5Cl2:Eu2+ phosphor with 420 nm and 460 nm chips, three white light-emitting diodes (LEDs) were fabricated. The warm-white LEDs show color rendering indexes of 76, 66 and 90 with color temperatures of 2447, 3546 and 4300 K, respectively. This new phosphor exhibits the potential to act as a single host doped with Eu2+ phosphor for UV or blue chip excited white LEDs.  相似文献

Air-grown sodium fluoride crystals were colored electrolytically by using a pointed cathode at various temperatures and electric field strengths, which should mainly benefit appropriate coloration temperatures and electric field strengths. , F, M, N1, N2 color centers and O2−-F+ complexes were produced in the colored crystals. Current-time curves for the electrolytic colorations were given, and activation energy for the V color center migration was determined. The formation of the color centers was explained.  相似文献

Treatment of zinc sulfide phosphors in atomic hydrogen not only produces radical-recombination luminescence (RRL) but also sputtering of the phosphor. The sputtering rate has been estimated for FKP-03k powder phosphor at various temperatures. The atomic hydrogen produces defects of etch-pit type on the surface of a single crystal. 在北京师范大学GIC4117串列加速器原有离子激发发光(ion beam induced luminescence,IBIL)分析靶室基础上,安装了可实现80—900 K温度范围内精确控温的冷热样品台,实现高低温条件下IBIL光谱的测量.添加金硅面垒探测器,在离子辐照材料样品过程中同步采集背散射离子的计数,实现束流的在线监测.在不同温度下,利用2 MeV H~+束轰击氟化锂样品,获得的IBIL光谱中可明显观察到温度对不同发光中心发光效果的影响:激子峰和杂质峰发光在低温条件下更为清晰;高温时各类型F色心的发光强度在较小的注量下即可达到饱和值或开始衰减.辐照初期受扰激子峰(296 nm)发光强度的上升过程表明不能排除受扰激子峰与点缺陷发光中心相关的可能性,激子峰强度的上升源自低注量时核弹性碰撞产生的应变键;温度对空位迁徙速率及非辐射复合的影响是造成发光强度随注量演变差异的重要原因.  相似文献

A novel long-lasting afterglow phosphor ZrO2:Ti is prepared by the conventional solid-stated method and their luminescent properties are investigated. A bluish white strong and broad emissive band, which is attributed to originate from the recombination of electrons trapped by F+ centers and the holes created in Valence band, is observed under 254 nm UV irradiation. The identical color long afterglow, which lasts about 1 h, is found in the ZrO2:Ti phosphor after removing the 254 nm UV light. The mechanism of the long lasting phosphorescence (LLP) has been discussed based on the thermoluminescence (TL) results. The replacement of Zr by Ti produces more anion vacancies, resulting in the enhanced photoluminescence (PL) and LLP of ZrO2:Ti sample. These results indicate that ZrO2:Ti phosphor has potential promising applications.  相似文献

The effects of sub-ambient temperatures of irradiation and dose response of CaSO4:Dy phosphor was investigated. The irradiation dose in the range 0.5–7.0 kGy was chosen to meet the requirement of commercial food irradiation at low temperature. Commercially available phosphor showed no significant change in glow curve structure with low temperature of irradiation. In order to enhance the sensitivity of the low temperature glow peak (142 °C), the phosphor was subjected to different post-preparation thermal treatments at 700–900 °C. The change in glows and improvement in dose response characteristics were explained by Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy. At sub-ambient temperature of irradiation, the behavior of thermally treated CaSO4:Dy phosphor with increasing dose revealed improved linear response of the low temperature glow peak and could be an efficient dosimetry system for the food commodities irradiated at low temperatures.  相似文献

Electron spin resonance (ESR), thermoluminescence and photoluminescence studies in Eu2+ activated Sr5(PO4)3Cl phosphor are reported in this paper. The Sr5(PO4)3Cl:Eu2+ phosphor is twice as sensitive as the conventional CaSO4:Dy phosphor used in thermoluminescence dosimetry of ionizing radiations. It has a linear response, simple glow curve, emission peaking at 456 nm. The defect centers formed in the Sr5(PO4)3Cl:Eu2+phosphor are studied by using the technique of ESR. A dominant TL glow peak at 430 K with a smaller shoulder at 410 K is observed in the phosphor. ESR studies indicate the presence at three centers at room temperature. Step annealing measurements show a connection between one of the centers and the dominant glow peak at 430 K. The 430 K TL peak is well correlated with center I, which is tentatively identified as (PO4)2− radical.  相似文献

在还原气氛保护下利用高温固相法合成了化学组分为(M1,M2)10(PO4)6X2(M1=Ca,Sr,Ba;M2=Eu,Mn;X=F,Cl,Br)的可被紫光激发的蓝光、绿光和红光荧光粉,制备了紫光LED芯片+蓝光荧光粉+YAG荧光粉的二基色白光LED;紫光LED芯片+蓝光荧光粉+红光荧光粉的二基色白光LED,以及紫光LED芯片+蓝光荧光粉+绿光荧光粉+红光荧光粉的三基色白光LED。测试了所有制备的白光LED在不同的直流电驱动下的色度坐标、相关色温和显色指数。  相似文献

The present paper describes the synthesis of europium-doped calcium aluminate phosphor using the combustion method. An efficient blue emission phosphor can be prepared at reaction temperatures as low as 500 °C in a few minutes by this method. Characterization of the powder was done by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscope analysis and the optical properties were studied by photoluminescence spectra. Thermoluminescence (TL) studies also have been carried out on CaAl12O19:Eu2+ phosphor. The TL glow curve shows peaks at 174 and 240 °C. Defect centres formed in irradiated phosphor have been studied using the technique of electron spin resonance. Step annealing measurements indicate that one of the annealing stages of a defect centre appear to correlate with the release of carriers resulting in TL peak at 174 °C. The centre is characterized by an isotropic g-value of 2.0046 and is assigned to a F+ centre.  相似文献

In this study, a color tunable light source, operated by a modified pulse width modulation method, is investigated. By utilizing this method along with anti‐parallel connected discrete light‐emitting diodes (LEDs) and two electrical terminals, a wide range of the chromaticity coordinates is attained and varied by electrical control. Using the combination of a blue LED and a phosphor‐converted yellow LED (blue LED plus yellow phosphor), the chromaticity range is varied by electrical control from pure blue to pure yellow. In addition, using the modified pulse‐width modulation method and a combination of white and red LEDs, white light with correlated color temperatures ranging from 5000 K to 2000 K is demonstrated. 针对目前LED灯具在照明方面显色性不足,以及传统LED点胶封装所存在的芯片发热导致荧光粉性能衰减、色温漂移、出光不均匀等问题,采用近年来新兴的远程荧光封装方式。用黄绿色YGG荧光粉和氮化物红色荧光粉,与硅胶制成远程荧光片封装成LED灯具。通过大量实验确定了黄绿粉、红粉与硅胶的最佳比例,制备了不同色温的LED灯具,并选择了色坐标,光效,显色指数,R9,色质指数,色温,全色域指数等参数对灯具进行了测试与分析,为优质LED照明提供了更客观地综合评价。实验结果表明红粉与黄绿粉的最佳比例为1∶7.6,荧光粉总量与硅胶最佳比例为1∶5,此时制成的白光LED灯具的色温为4 113 K,色坐标(x, y)为(0.375 4, 0.373 1),光效为52.33 lm·w-1,色域度为0.981,显色指数高达96,其中R9为97。色质指数Qa值高达93,全色域指数为79。同时相较于传统封装而言,远程荧光封装的荧光板表面温度大大低于点胶封装荧光粉表面温度,可以有效地避免温度过高对LED产生的不良影响。  相似文献

The ytterbium ions doped MO-Al2O3 (M=Ca, Sr and Ba) phosphors have been synthesized through combustion technique and their up and down conversion fluorescence properties have been studied and compared. The samples were calcinated at different temperatures and their FTIR and XRD spectra have shown a close relationship. With 976 nm excitation all these phosphors show cooperative upconversion emission at 488 nm from the pairs of two Yb3+ ions along with an unexpected broad upconversion band in the blue green region and has been assigned to arise from the defect centers. Contrary to this upconversion emission, calcium aluminate phosphor exhibits bright and very broad down-conversion fluorescence (FWHM≈160 nm) upon UV (266 nm) excitation due to Yb2+ ions. The inter-conversion between the 3+ and 2+ valence states of Yb ion has been observed on calcinations of samples in open atmosphere and has been correlated to the emission properties. The Yb2+ ions containing calcium aluminate phosphor has been found suitable for producing broad band light in the visible region (white light). Lifetime of the emitting states of Yb3+ and Yb2+ ions have also been measured and discussed.  相似文献

This paper reports on the spectral analysis of novel Lithium Zinc Vanadate (LiZnVO4) phosphor prepared by a solid state reaction method. Emission spectrum of LiZnVO4 has shown a bright green emission at 533 nm with λexci = 359 nm. A bright green color emission has also been noticed directly from this phosphor under an UV source. For this luminescent phosphor, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), Fourier-transform IR spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman Spectrum, Comprehensive Differential Thermo gravimetric Analysis (TG–DTA) have also been carried out.  相似文献
