On Positive Eigenvalues and Positive Fixed Points of Multivalued Condensing Mappings

In this paper,we discuss the calculations of fixed point indexs for multivalued condensing mappings and k-set-contraction mappings,obtain some theorems on the eigenvalues and the fixed points under the suitable conditions. Our conclusions improve and generalize some well-known results.     

On Fixed Point and Almost Fixed Point Problems of Lower Semicontinuous Type Multivalued Mappings

In the present paper, some new almost fixed point theorems and fixed point theorems for lower semicontinuous type multivalued mappings are obtained in metrizable H-spaces.

Generic Existence of Fixed Points for Set-Valued Mappings

We first consider a complete metric space of nonexpansive set-valued mappings acting on a closed convex subset of a Banach space with a nonempty interior, and show that a generic mapping in this space has a fixed point. We then establish analogous results for two complete metric spaces of set-valued mappings with convex graphs.

Geometry and Topology of Continuous Best and Near Best Approximations

The existence of a continuous best approximation or of near best approximations of a strictly convex space by a subset is shown to imply uniqueness of the best approximation under various assumptions on the approximating subset. For more general spaces, when continuous best or near best approximations exist, the set of best approximants to any given element is shown to satisfy connectivity and radius constraints.

Continuous Selection, Collectively Fixed Points and System of Coincidence Theorems in Product Topological Spaces

Some new continuous selection theorems are first proved in noncompact topological spaces. As applications, some new collectively fixed point theorems and coincidence theorems for two families of set-valued mappings defined on product space of noncompact topological spaces are obtained under very weak assumptions. These results generalize many known results in recent literature.
