Some closed-form solutions are provided for the nonhomogeneous Yakubovich-conjugate matrix equation with X and Y being unknown matrices. The presented solutions can offer all the degrees of freedom which is represented by an arbitrarily chosen parameter matrix. The primary feature of the solutions is that the matrices F and R are not restricted to be in any canonical form, or may be even unknown a priori. One of the solutions is neatly expressed in terms of controllability matrices and observability matrices.  相似文献

With the help of the concept of Kronecker map, an explicit solution for the matrix equation XAXF=C is established. This solution is neatly expressed by a symmetric operator matrix, a controllability matrix and an observability matrix. In addition, the matrix equation is also studied. An explicit solution for this matrix equation is also proposed by means of the real representation of a complex matrix. This solution is neatly expressed by a symmetric operator matrix, two controllability matrices and two observability matrices.  相似文献

In this Note, a weighted identity for partial differential operators of second order is established. As its applications, one may deduce all the known controllability/observability results for the parabolic, hyperbolic, Schrödinger and plate equations that are derived via Carleman estimate. Meanwhile, a new controllability/observability result is presented for the parabolic equations with a complex principal part. To cite this article: X. Fu, C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris, Ser. We prove the approximate controllability for the heat equation with potential with a cost of order ec/ε when the target is in with a precision in L2(Ω) norm. Also a quantification estimate of the unique continuation for initial data in L2(Ω) of the heat equation with potential is established.  相似文献

We study the existence and the asymptotic behavior of positive solutions for the parabolic equation on D×(0,∞), where is a some unbounded domain in and V belongs to a new parabolic class J of singular potentials generalizing the well-known parabolic Kato class at infinity P introduced recently by Zhang. We also show that the choice of this class is essentially optimal.  相似文献

We take up the existence and global behavior of positive continuous solutions of the following nonlinear parabolic equation in (n?2) with boundary conditions u=0 on and u(x,0)=u0(x). The nonlinear term is required to satisfy some conditions related to a functional class , which we introduce in this paper and will be called parabolic Kato class in the half space. Our approach is based on potential theory.  相似文献

On global solution to the Klein-Gordon-Hartree equation below energy space   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper, we consider the Cauchy problem for Klein-Gordon equation with a cubic convolution nonlinearity in R3. By making use of Bourgain's method in conjunction with a precise Strichartz estimate of S. Klainerman and D. Tataru, we establish the Hs (s<1) global well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for the cubic convolution defocusing Klein-Gordon-Hartree equation. Before arriving at the previously discussed conclusion, we obtain global solution for this non-scaling equation with small initial data in Hs0×Hs0−1 where but not , for this equation that we consider is a subconformal equation in some sense. In doing so a number of nonlinear prior estimates are already established by using Bony's decomposition, flexibility of Klein-Gordon admissible pairs which are slightly different from that of wave equation and a commutator estimate. We establish this commutator estimate by exploiting cancellation property and utilizing Coifman and Meyer multilinear multiplier theorem. As far as we know, it seems that this is the first result on low regularity for this Klein-Gordon-Hartree equation.  相似文献

We study stability of an equilibrium f∗ of autonomous dynamical systems under asymptotically small perturbations of the equation. We show that such stability takes place if the domain of attraction of the equilibrium f∗ contains a one-parametric ordered family . In the stability analysis we need a special S-relation (a kind of “restricted partial ordering”) to be preserved relative to the family . This S-relation is inherited from the Sturmian zero set properties for linear parabolic equations. As main applications, we prove stability of the self-similar blow-up behaviour for the porous medium equation, the p-Laplacian equation and the dual porous medium equation in with nonlinear lower-order perturbations. For such one-dimensional parabolic equations the S-relation is Sturm's Theorem on the nonincrease of the number of intersections between the solutions and particular solutions with initial data in . This Sturmian property plays a key role and is true for the unperturbed PME, but is not true for perturbed equations.  相似文献

We study the Cauchy problem of the Ostrovsky equation , with βγ<0. By establishing a bilinear estimate on the anisotropic Bourgain space Xs,ω,b, we prove that the Cauchy problem of this equation is locally well-posed in the anisotropic Sobolev space H(s,ω)(R) for any and some . Using this result and conservation laws of this equation, we also prove that the Cauchy problem of this equation is globally well-posed in H(s,ω)(R) for s?0.  相似文献

We study regularity properties of solutions of a parabolic equation in R+×Rd, d?3 under fairly general conditions on the drift term coefficients. The results are already new for the case a=I, , b=b(x) and .  相似文献

In this paper, first, we introduce a new concept, called the norm-to-weak continuous semigroup in a Banach space, and give a technical theorem to verify this notion of continuity. Then we establish a general method which is necessary and sufficient to obtain the existence of the global attractor for this kind of semigroup. As an application, we obtain the existence of the global attractor for a nonlinear reaction-diffusion equation with a polynomial growth nonlinearity of arbitrary order and with some weak derivatives in the inhomogeneous term, the global attractors are obtained in Lp(Ω), and , respectively. A new a priori estimate method, called asymptotic a priori estimate, has been introduced. Since the solutions of the equation has no higher regularity and the semigroup associated the solutions is not continuous in Lp(Ω), and , the results in this part are new and appear to be optimal.  相似文献

In this paper we establish a new bilinear estimate in suitable Bourgain spaces by using a fundamental estimate on dyadic blocks for the Kawahara equation which was obtained by the [k;Z] multiplier norm method of Tao (2001) [2]; then the local well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for a fifth-order shallow water wave equation in with is obtained by the Fourier restriction norm method. And some ill-posedness in with is derived from a general principle of Bejenaru and Tao.  相似文献

Let be the space of solutions to the parabolic equation having finite norm. We characterize nonnegative Radon measures μ on having the property , 1≤pq<, whenever . Meanwhile, denoting by v(t,x) the solution of the above equation with Cauchy data v0(x), we characterize nonnegative Radon measures μ on satisfying , β∈(0,n), p∈[1,n/β], q∈(0,). Moreover, we obtain the decay of v(t,x), an isocapacitary inequality and a trace inequality.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a generalized Burgers equation ut+(u2)x=tuxx, which is a non-uniformly parabolic equation for t>0. We show the existence and uniqueness of classical solutions to the initial-value problem of the generalized Burgers equation with rough initial data belonging to .  相似文献

In this paper, we study the L1 stability of a one-dimensional Boltzmann equation on the line with inelastic collisions in Rend. Sem. Mat. Fis. Milano 67 (1997) 169-179. Under the suitable assumptions on the initial data, we construct a nonlinear functional which measures L1 distance between two mild solutions, and is nonincreasing in time t. Using the time-decay estimate of , we show that mild solutions are L1-stable:

In this paper we analyze the approximate and null controllability of the classical heat equation with nonlinear boundary conditions of the form and distributed controls, with support in a small set. We show that, when the function f is globally Lipschitz-continuous, the system is approximately controllable. We also show that the system is locally null controllable and null controllable for large time when f is regular enough and f(0)=0. For the proofs of these assertions, we use controllability results for similar linear problems and appropriate fixed point arguments. In the case of the local and large time null controllability results, the arguments are rather technical, since they need (among other things) Hölder estimates for the control and the state.  相似文献
