The results of infrared reflectivity measurements for the iron-based high-temperature superconductor Ba(Fe0.9Co0.1)2As2 are reported. The reflectivity is found to be close to unity at frequencies ω lower than 2Δ/h (2Δ is the superconducting gap and h is Planck’s constant). This is evidence for the s +/− or s +/+ symmetry of the superconducting order parameter in the studied compound. The infrared reflectivity spectra of Ba(Fe0.9Co0.1)2As2 manifest opening of several superconducting gaps at temperatures lower than critical T c .  相似文献

Measurements of magnetic and transport properties were performed on needle-shaped single crystals of Ce12Fe57.5As41 and La12Fe57.5As41. The availability of a complete set of data enabled a side-by-side comparison between these two rare earth compounds. Both compounds exhibited multiple magnetic orders within 2–300 K and metamagnetic transitions at various fields. Ferromagnetic transitions with Curie temperatures of 100 and 125 K were found for Ce12Fe57.5As41 and La12Fe57.5As41, respectively, followed by antiferromagnetic type spin reorientations near Curie temperatures. The magnetic properties underwent complex evolution in the magnetic field for both compounds. An antiferromagnetic phase transition at about 60 K and 0.2 T was observed merely for Ce12Fe57.5As41. The field-induced magnetic phase transition occurred from antiferromagnetic to ferromagnetic structure. A strong magnetocrystalline anisotropy was evident from magnetization measurements of Ce12Fe57.5As41. A temperature-field phase diagram was present for these two rare earth systems. In addition, a logarithmic temperature dependence of electrical resistivity was observed in the two compounds within a large temperature range of 150–300 K, which is rarely found in 3D-based compounds. It may be related to Kondo scattering described by independent localized Fe 3d moments interacting with conduction electrons.  相似文献

The magnetic superconductorRu0.9Sr2YCu2.1O7.9 (Ru-1212Y) has beeninvestigated using neutron diffraction under variable temperature and magnetic field. Withthe complementary information from magnetization measurements, we propose a magnetic phasediagram T-H for the Ru-1212 system. Uniaxialantiferromagnetic (AFM) order of 1.2μ B /Ruatoms with moments parallel to the c-axis is found below the magnetictransition temperature at  ~140 K in the absence of magnetic field. In addition,ferromagnetism (FM) in the ab-plane develops below  ~120 K, butis suppressed at lower temperature by superconducting correlations. Externally appliedmagnetic fields cause Ru-moments to realign from the c-axis to theab-plane, i.e. along the ?1,1,0? direction, and induce ferromagnetismin the plane with  ~1μ B at 60 kOe.These observations of the weak ferromagnetism suppressed by superconductivity and thefield-induced metamagnetic transition between AFM and FM demonstrate not only competingorders of superconductivity and magnetism, but also suggest a certain vortex dynamicscontributing to these magnetic transitions.  相似文献

The results of the ab initio FLAPW-GGA computations of the band structure of the recently synthesized layered tetragonal (space group I4/mmm) arsenide (Sr3Sc2O5)Fe2As2 as a possible basis phase of a new group of FeAs superconductors are presented. For (Sr3Sc2O5)Fe2As2, the energy bands, electron state density distributions, Fermi surface topology, low-temperature electron specific heat, molar Pauli paramagnetic susceptibility, and effective atomic charges have been determined. These results are discussed compared to similar data for the layered tetragonal crystals LaFeAsO, SrFeAsF, SrFe2As2, and LiFeAs that are the basis phases of the recently discovered high-temperature (T C ~ 26–56 K) 《1111》, 《122》, and 《111》 FeAs superconductors.  相似文献

The value of the exchange coupling between a Co0.9Fe0.1 nanolayer and a bismuth ferrite multiferroic (BiFeO3) nanolayer has been calculated. Two possible variants of matching of the layer crystal structures are proposed. The interaction energy of the layers is shown to be sufficient to record information in the Co0.9Fe0.1 layer that enters in the composition of the magnetic tunnel junction by applying an electric field to the bismuth ferrite layer.  相似文献

Magnetization and neutron diffraction measurements have been made on the title pseudo-binary of tetragonal anti-ferromagnets Fe2 As and Cr2 As. In this system antiferromagnetic (AFM) ordering appears below 310 K. The moments are confined in theab plane but unlike in the end members they are tilted off thea-axis. In addition to the AFM structure a weak ferromagnetic behaviour shows up below∼80 K with a rather low moment of ∼0.07 μB per formula unit at 5 K and under a field of 3 T.  相似文献

The sample of Mg0. 5+y (Zr1-y Fey) 2 (PO4) 3 (0.0 ≤y ≤0.5) was synthesized using the sol-gel method. The structures of the samples were investigated using X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy measurement. XRD studies showed that samples had a monoclinic structure which was iso-structured with the parent compound, Mg0.5Zr (PO4) 3. The complex impedance spectroscopy was carried out in the frequency range 1–6 MHz and temperature range 303 to 773 K to study the electrical properties of the electrolytes. The substitutions of Fe3+ with Zr4+ in the Mg0.5Zr (PO4) 3 structure was introduced as an extrainterstitial Mg2+ ion in the modified structured. The compound of Mg0.5+y (Zr1-y Fey)2(PO4)3 with y?=?0.4 gives a maximum conductivity value of 1.25?×?10?5 S cm?1 at room temperature and 7.18?×?10?5 S cm?1 at 773 K. Charge carrier concentration, mobile ion concentration, and ion hopping rate are calculated by fitting the conductance spectra to power law variation, σ ac (ω)?=?σ o ? +?Aω α . The charge carrier concentration and mobile ion concentration increases with increase of Fe3+ inclusion. This implies the increase in conductivity of the compounds was due to extra interstitial Mg2+ ions.  相似文献

This paper reports on the results of the ab initio FLAPW-GGA band structure calculations for two new layered phases SrRu2As2 and BaRu2As2, which are isostructural and isoelectronic to the known tetragonal (Ca,Sr,Ba)Fe2As2 basis phases of the FeAs superconductor family. The energy bands, densities of states, topology of the Fermi surface, low-temperature electron specific heats, and molar Pauli paramagnetic susceptibilities of SrRu2As2 and BaRu2As2 are determined for the first time and discussed in comparison with those for BaFe2As2 and BaRh2As2.  相似文献

Polarization-optical study of twinning and measurements of the Raman spectra and birefringence in oxyfluoride (NH4)3Ti(O2)F5 were carried out over the temperature range 90–350 K. Phase transitions were detected at temperatures T 01 = 266 K (second-order transition) and T 02 = 225 K (first order). It is assumed that the crystal symmetry is changed as follows: Fm3m ? I4/mmm ? I4/m. Anomalies of the spectral parameters are established in the frequency range of internal vibrations of ammonium ions and Ti(O2)F5 complexes. An analysis of the results shows that the transition at T 01 is likely due to small shifts of the tetrahedral groups from their position on the triad axis and that the transition at T 02 is due to fluorine-oxygen ordering of Ti(O2)F5 complexes.  相似文献

We present LDA band structure of novel hole doped high temperature superconductors (T c ∼ 30 K) K x Fe2Se2 and Cs x Fe2Se2 and compare it with previously studied electronic structure of isostructural FeAs superconductor BaFe2As2 (Ba122). We show that stoichiometric KFe2Se2 and CsFe2Se2 have rather different Fermi surfaces as compared with Ba122. However at about 60% of hole doping Fermi surfaces of novel materials closely resemble those of Ba122. In between these dopings we observe a number of topological Fermi surface transitions near the Γ point in the Brillouin zone. Superconducting transition temperature T c of new systems is apparently governed by the value of the total density of states (DOS) at the Fermi level.  相似文献

The thermal and dielectric properties of the (NH4)2NbOF5 oxyfluoride have been investigated. It has been established that the structural phase transitions Cmc21C2 → Ia observed at the temperatures T 1 = 258.0 K and T 2 = 218.9 K exhibit a nonferroelectric nature. The hydrostatic pressure, which stabilizes the initial phase and destabilizes the low-temperature phase, hardly affects the temperature range of stability of the intermediate phase. The model of sequential ordering of the structural elements due to phase transitions has been analyzed using experimental data on the entropies of the phase transitions.  相似文献

A reconstruction technique based on the solution of the Radon transform in terms of Jacobi polynomials is used to obtain the 3D electron momentum density, ϱ(p), from nine high-resolution Compton profiles (CPs) for a Cu0.9Al0.1 disordered alloy single crystal. The method was also applied to theoretical CPs computed within the Korringa–Kohn–Rostoker coherent potential approximation (KKR-CPA) first-principles scheme for the same nine orientations of the crystal. The experimental ϱ(p) is in satisfactory agreement with the theoretical ϱ(p), shows most details of the Fermi surface (FS) and exhibits electron correlation effects. We comment on the map of the FS obtained by folding the reconstructed ϱ(p) into the first Brillouin zone, which yields the occupation number density, ϱ(k). A test of the validity of data via a consistency condition (within our reconstruction algorithm) as well as the propagation of experimental noise in the reconstruction of both ϱ(p) and ϱ(k) are investigated. Electron spin resonance (ESR) measurements have been performed on polycrystalline samples of Pr0.6Ca0.4Mn1-xRuxO3 (x = 0, 0.1). The substitution of Ru in the Mn-site strengthens ferromagnetic interactions due to the double exchange between the Mn3+ and Mn4+ species and super-exchange between the Ru5+ and Mn3+ species. The temperature dependence of the ESR spectra indicates development of magnetic phase separation in Pr0.6Ca0.4Mn0.9Ru0.1O3 in contrast with the un-doped sample.  相似文献

The structures of two phases of the (NH4)3Nb(O2)2F4 crystal, namely, the parent cubic phase and the most distorted low-temperature phase, have been determined from data of an X-ray diffraction experiment performed for a powder sample. The profile and structural parameters have been refined according to the procedure implemented in the DDM program. The results obtained have been discussed with invoking the group-theoretical analysis of the complete order parameter condensate, which takes into account the critical and noncritical atomic displacements and allows the interpretation of the obtained experimental data. It has been found that the most probable sequence of structural transformations occurring in the crystal can be schematically represented in the following form:

The temperature and field dependences of the magnetization, the electrical resistivity, and the magnetostriction of bilayer lanthanum manganite La1.4Sr1.6Mn2O7 single crystals and cobalt-doped La1.4Sr1.6(Mn0.9Cu0.1)2O7 are measured. The magnetostriction of the cobalt-doped compound increases as compared to the initial La1.4Sr1.6Mn2O7 compound, and the magnetization and the magnetoresistance of the former compound change substantially. Powder and single-crystal neutron diffraction patterns are used to detect ferromagnetic ordering in La1.4Sr1.6(Mn0.9Co0.1)2O7 at a temperature below T C ~ 45(2) K, and this ordering coexists with antiferromagnetic correlations, which develop at temperatures below T C ~ 80(5) K.  相似文献

We report measurements of the temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity, ρ(T), and magnetic pen-etration depth, λ(T), for polycrystalline samples of Eu0.5K0.5Fe2As2 with T c = 31 K. ρ(T) follows a linear temperature dependence above T c and bends over to a weaker temperature dependence around 150 K. The magnetic penetration depth, determined by radio frequency technique displays an unusual minimum around 4 K which is associated with short-range ordering of localized Eu3+ moments. Superconductivity was achieved in Ti-doped iron-arsenide compound Sr4Cr0.8Ti1.2O6Fe2As2 (abbreviated as Cr-FeAs-42622). The X-ray diffraction measurement shows that this material has a layered structure with the space group of P4/nmm, and with the lattice constants a = b = 3.9003 Å and c = 15.8376 Å. Clear diamagnetic signals in ac susceptibility data and zero-resistance in resistivity data were detected at about 6 K, confirming the occurrence of bulk superconductivity. Meanwhile we observed a superconducting transition in the resistive data with the onset transition temperature at 29.2 K, which may be induced by the nonuniform distribution of the Cr/Ti content in the FeAs-42622 phase.  相似文献

Ellipsometric investigations of the optical properties of Ru2Ge3 and Ru2Sn3 intermetallic compounds are carried out in the wavelength range from 0.22 to 15 μm. The nature of interband light absorption is analyzed based on a comparative analysis of the experimental and theoretical frequency dependences of an optical conductivity. The obtained results confirm the existence of energy gaps at the Fermi level in the electronic spectra of these materials predicted earlier by the band-structure calculations.  相似文献

Effects of a mechanical shear on the electron transport properties of a (LaMnO3)2/(SrMnO3)2 superlattice are investigated using first-principle DFT calculations. While the unstrained superlattice is a 3-D conducting half metal, application of a pyramidal shear transforms it into a non-spin-polarized conductor. Depending on whether the out-of-plane component of the shear is tensile or compressive the conductivity is 1-D out-of-plane or 2-D in-plane. The shear-induced low-dimensional conductivity is also associated with the FM-AFM transition.  相似文献

Photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) is one of the important branches of spectroscopy, which enables one to detect light-induced heat production following the absorption of pulsed radiation by the sample. As2S3, As2Se3 and GeSe2 exhibit a wide variety of photo-induced phenomena that enable them to be used as optical imaging or storage medium and various electronic devices, including electro-optic information storage devices and optical mass memories. Therefore, accurate measurement of thermal properties of semiconducting films is necessary to study the memory density. The thermal conductivity of thin films of As2S3 (thickness 100 μm and 80 μm), As2Se3 (thickness 100 μm and 80 μm) and GeSe2 (thickness 120 μm and 100 μm) has been measured using PAS technique. Our result shows that the thermal conductivity of thicker films is larger than the thinner films. This can be explained by the thermal resistance effect between the film and the surface of the substrate.   相似文献
