[reaction: see text] The complexation of p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene (CX4) with 2,3-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene (1), 2,3-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-2-ene (2), 2,3-diazabicyclo[3.2.2]non-2-ene (3), 1-methyl-4-isopropyl-2,3-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-2-ene (4), and 1-phenyl-2,3-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-2-ene (5) was studied in D2O at pD 7.4 by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The formation of deep inclusion complexes was indicated by large upfield 1H NMR shifts of the guest protons (up to 2.6 ppm), which were also used to assign, in combination with 2D ROESY spectra, a preferential inclusion of the isopropyl group of 4 and a dominant inclusion of the azo bicyclic residue for 5. The bicyclic azoalkanes 1-3 showed exceptionally high binding constants on the order of 1000 M(-1), 1-2 orders of magnitude larger than for previously investigated noncharged organic guest molecules. The strong binding was attributed to the spherical shape complementarity between the guest and the conical cavity offered by CX4. Interestingly, although the derivatives 4 and 5 are more hydrophobic, they showed a 2-3 times weaker binding, which was again attributed to the deviation from spherical shape in these bridgehead-substituted derivatives. The preferential inclusion of the hydrophilic but spherical bicyclic residue of 5 rather than the hydrophobic aromatic phenyl group provides a unique observation in aqueous host-guest chemistry and corroborates the pronounced spherical shape affinity of CX4.  相似文献

The lithium 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-6-ide ( 1 ) prepared from 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) and n-butyllithium reacts with alkyl halides and carbonyl compounds such as benzophenone, acetophenone, and benzaldehyde to give 6-substituted DBU derivatives in good yields. An efficient strategy for the synthesis of a variety of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole derivatives has been developed. The regioselectivity of tether-directed Bingel-type biscyclopropanations of [60]fullerene was switched depending on the leaving groups at tethered active methylene moieties; the reactions of [60]fullerene with unhalogenated tethered bis(active methylene) derivatives/I2 and with brominated derivatives in the presence of 1,7-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene gave trans-4-adducts predominantly, while the reactions with chlorinated derivatives afforded equatorial-adducts almost exclusively.  相似文献

A formal [3+2] cyclization mediated by silver(I) oxide and 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) is described herein. Through a broad variety of carbonyl compounds, this system can promote cyclization reactions with high yield (up to 85 %) and diastereoselectivity (up to 95:5) for a straightforward access to complex and congested dihydrofuran derivatives in one step under mild conditions. Based on DFT studies, the proposed mechanism would involve an allenyl silver intermediate.  相似文献

The pD dependence of the complexation of p-sulfonatocalix[4]arene (CX4) with the azoalkanes 2,3-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene (1), 2,3-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-2-ene (2), 2,3-diazabicyclo[2.2.3]non-2-ene (3), and 1-methyl-4-isopropyl-2,3-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-2-ene (4) in D(2)O has been studied. The pD-dependent binding constants, determined by (1)H NMR spectroscopy, were analyzed according to a seven-state model, which included the CX4 tetra- and penta-anions, the protonated and unprotonated forms of the azoalkanes, the corresponding complexes, as well as the complex formed between CX4 and the deuteriated hydronium ion. The variation of the UV absorption spectra, namely the hypsochromic shift in the near-UV band of the azo chromophore upon protonation, was analyzed according to a four-state model. Measurements by independent methods demonstrated that complexation by CX4 shifts the pK(a) values of the guest molecules by around 2 units, thereby establishing a case of host-assisted guest protonation. The pK(a) shift can be translated into improved binding (factor of 100) of the protonated guest relative to its unprotonated form as a result of the cation-receptor properties of CX4. The results are discussed in the context of supramolecular catalytic activity and the pK(a) shifts induced by different types of macrocyclic hosts are compared.  相似文献

2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-Octaethyl-5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-methoxyphenyl)porphyrin has been synthesized, and its acid-base and complexing properties in the systems 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene-acetonitrile, acetonitrile-Zn(OAc)2, and 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene-acetonitrile-Zn(OAc)2 have been studied by spectrophotometry. Titration of 2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethyl-5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-methoxyphenyl)porphyrin with 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene is accompanied by successive deprotonation of the pyrrole nitrogen atoms with formation of the corresponding mono- and dianion. The overall acid dissociation constant of the title compound has been determined. The complexation of neutral and doubly deprotonated 2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethyl-5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-methoxyphenyl)porphyrin with Zn(OAc)2 has been studied, and kinetic parameters for the formation of the zinc complex according to the molecular and ionic mechanisms have been determined. Extra coordination of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene by the zinc complex of 2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethyl-5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-methoxyphenyl)porphyrin.  相似文献

Only supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) as a reactant and a solvent, and catalytic amount of base (DBU (1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene), DBN (1,5-diazabicyclo[4.3.0]non-5-ene), Dabco® (1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane), and triethylamine) afforded 1H-quinazoline-2,4-diones in good to excellent yields from 2-aminobenzonitriles. 6,7-Dimethoxy-1H-quinazoline-2,4-dione, which is a key intermediate of medicines (Prazosin, Bunazosin, and Doxazosin) was synthesized successfully in a 97% yield, using 0.1 equiv of DBU under scCO2 (10 MPa) at 80 °C.  相似文献

When elemental selenium was added to a strongly basic amine, 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) or 1,5-diazabicyclo[4.3.0]non-5-ene (DBN), the selenium started to dissolve and the solution turned dark brown. We investigated the chemical reaction of this selenium dissolution process by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). The study reveals for the first time that cleavage of Se-Se bonds by the amine initiates the reaction to form molecular Se2, which then abstracts hydrogen from the amine molecule. ESI-MS with the use of a nanospray technique was shown to be a useful tool for studying the dissolution of elements in strongly basic or acidic solvents.  相似文献

Nucleophilic cycloaddition of thiocyanates 1a-e with C60 in the presence of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene afforded C60-fused 2-iminotetrahydrothiophene derivatives 2a-e and methanofullerenes 3a-d. The product distributions were highly sensitive to the substrates employed. The 2-iminotetrahydrothiophene derivatives 2a-e could be further manipulated by hydrolysis and acetylation to give 2-oxotetrahydrothiophene derivatives 4a-e and 2-acetamidotetrahydrothiophene derivatives 5a-e. A three-step procedure has been developed for the synthesis of 3,5-disubstituted methyl pyridazine-4-carboxylates from accessible 2,3-disubstituted 2-cyclopropenecarboxylates. In the first step, cyclopropene derivatives react with diazomethane to give adducts having 2,3-diazabicyclo[3.1.1]hex-2-ene structure. The regio- and stereoselectivity of the cycloaddition has been determined. The second step is isomerization of the bicyclic adducts into 1,4-dihydropyridazine derivatives by the action of sodium methoxide. Finally, oxidation with potassium permanganate yields the target pyridazine-4-carboxylates.  相似文献
