SmI2-induced reductive cyclization of (E)- and (Z)-β-alkoxyvinyl sulfones with aldehyde stereoselectively afforded 2,6-syn-2,3-trans- and 2,6-syn-2,3-cis-tetrahydropyrans, respectively. The product having a sulfonylmethyl group was converted to a cyclic ether having a methyl group by reduction with Raney-Ni.  相似文献

SmI2-induced reaction of (E)-β-alkoxyvinyl (R)- and (S)-sulfoxides with aldehydes effected a highly stereoselective intramolecular cyclization to give 2,6-anti-2,3-cis- and 2,6-syn-2,3-trans-tetrahydropyran-3-ols, respectively. The reaction of (Z)-(R)-isomer gave 2,6-syn-2,3-cis-tetrahydropyran-3-ol and a ring-opened product, and that of (Z)-(S)-isomer yielded many products.  相似文献

SmI2-induced reaction of (E)- and (Z)-β-alkoxyvinyl sulfones onto an aldehyde function afforded 2,6-syn-2,3-trans- and 2,6-syn-2,3-cis-tetrahydropyran-3-ols, respectively, via stereoselective cyclization. This reaction was applied to the synthesis of 2-methyl-tetrahydropyran, corresponding to the N-ring of gymnocin-A, and 2-exo-methylene-tetrahydropyran, a key intermediate for convergent synthesis of polycyclic ethers based on the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction.  相似文献

The (−)‐ and (+)‐β‐irones ((−)‐ and (+)‐ 2 , resp.), contaminated with ca. 7 – 9% of the (+)‐ and (−)‐transα‐isomer, respectively, were obtained from racemic α‐irone via the 2,6‐trans‐epoxide (±)‐ 4 (Scheme 2). Relevant steps in the sequence were the LiAlH4 reduction of the latter, to provide the diastereoisomeric‐4,5‐dihydro‐5‐hydroxy‐transα‐irols (±)‐ 6 and (±)‐ 7 , resolved into the enantiomers by lipase‐PS‐mediated acetylation with vinyl acetate. The enantiomerically pure allylic acetate esters (+)‐ and (−)‐ 8 and (+)‐ and (−)‐ 9 , upon treatment with POCl3/pyridine, were converted to the β‐irol acetate derivatives (+)‐ and (−)‐ 10 , and (+)‐ and (−)‐ 11 , respectively, eventually providing the desired ketones (+)‐ and (−)‐ 2 by base hydrolysis and MnO2 oxidation. The 2,6‐cis‐epoxide (±)‐ 5 provided the 4,5‐dihydro‐4‐hydroxy‐cisα‐irols (±)‐ 13 and (±)‐ 14 in a 3 : 1 mixture with the isomeric 5‐hydroxy derivatives (±)‐ 15 and (±)‐ 16 on hydride treatment (Scheme 1). The POCl3/pyridine treatment of the enantiomerically pure allylic acetate esters, obtained by enzymic resolution of (±)‐ 13 and (±)‐ 14 , provided enantiomerically pure cisα‐irol acetate esters, from which ketones (+)‐ and (−)‐ 22 were prepared (Scheme 4). The same materials were obtained from the (9S) alcohols (+)‐ 13 and (−)‐ 14 , treated first with MnO2, then with POCl3/pyridine (Scheme 4). Conversely, the dehydration with POCl3/pyridine of the enantiomerically pure 2,6‐cis‐5‐hydroxy derivatives obtained from (±)‐ 15 and (±)‐ 16 gave rise to a mixture in which the γ‐irol acetates 25a and 25b and 26a and 26b prevailed over the α‐ and β‐isomers (Scheme 5). The (+)‐ and (−)‐cisγ‐irones ((+)‐ and (−)‐ 3 , resp.) were obtained from the latter mixture by a sequence involving as the key step the photochemical isomerization of the α‐double bond to the γ‐double bond. External panel olfactory evaluation assigned to (+)‐β‐irone ((+)‐ 2 ) and to (−)‐cisγ‐irone ((−)‐ 3 ) the strongest character and the possibility to be used as dry‐down note.  相似文献

The cycloadditions of methyl diazoacetate to 2,3‐bis(trifluoromethyl)fumaronitrile ((E)‐ BTE ) and 2,3‐bis(trifluoromethyl)maleonitrile ((Z)‐ BTE ) furnish the 4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazoles 13 . The retention of dipolarophile configuration proceeds for (E)‐ BTE with > 99.93% and for (Z)‐ BTE with > 99.8% (CDCl3, 25°), suggesting concertedness. Base catalysis (1,4‐diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO), proton sponge) converts the cycloadducts, trans‐ 13 and cis‐ 13 , to a 94 : 6 equilibrium mixture (CDCl3, r.t.); the first step is N‐deprotonation, since reaction with methyl fluorosulfonate affords the 4,5‐dihydro‐1‐methyl‐1H‐pyrazoles. Competing with the cis/trans isomerization of 13 is the formation of a bis(dehydrofluoro) dimer (two diastereoisomers), the structure of which was elucidated by IR, 19F‐NMR, and 13C‐NMR spectroscopy. The reaction slows when DABCO is bound by HF, but F? as base keeps the conversion to 22 going and binds HF. The diazo group in 22 suggests a common intermediate for cis/trans isomerization of 13 and conversion to 22 : reversible ring opening of N‐deprotonated 13 provides 18 , a derivative of methyl diazoacetate with a carbanionic substituent. Mechanistic comparison with the reaction of diazomethane and dimethyl 2,3‐dicyanofumarate, a related tetra‐acceptor‐ethylene, brings to light unanticipated divergencies.  相似文献

Density functional theory calculations at the B3LYP/6‐31++G(d,p) level of theory were employed to verify whether the formation of vinyl alcohol (VA) in the interstellar medium can be explained by reactions of common and abundant interstellar species such as acetylene, radicals C2, HC? C · , · OH, and H · . Several reaction sequences are possible. They include radical combinations, which proceed without activation barriers and are highly exothermic. The reactions of closed‐shell species acetylene and HC?C‐OH with hydrogen atoms, as well as H‐transfer and OH‐rotation processes, might require activation energy. Nevertheless, either the corresponding transition states lay below the reactant level or there are alternative routes that involve no transition states at all, such as the reaction sequences C2 → HC?C · → HC?CH → transsyn‐HC( · )?CH‐OH → syn‐VA; C2 → HC?C · → syn‐?C?CH‐OH → (trans or cis)‐syn‐HC( · )?CH‐OH → syn‐VA; and C2 → · C?C‐OH → syn‐:C?CH‐OH → (trans or cis)‐syn‐HC( · )?CH‐OH → syn‐VA. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Imidazolium salts, [RS(O)? CH2(C3H3N2)Mes]Cl (R=Me ( L1 a ), Ph ( L1 b )); Mes=mesityl), make convenient carbene precursors. Palladation of L1 a affords the monodentate dinuclear complex, [(PdCl2{MeS(O)CH2(C3H2N2)Mes})2] ( 2 a ), which is converted into trans‐[PdCl2(NHC)2] (trans‐ 4 a ; N‐heterocyclic carbene) with two rotamers in anti and syn configurations. Complex trans‐ 4 a can isomerize into cis‐ 4 a (anti) at reflux in acetonitrile. Abstraction of chlorides from 4 a or 4 b leads to the formation of a new dication: trans‐[Pd{RS(O)CH2(C3H2N2)Mes}2](PF6)2 (R=Me ( 5 a ), Ph ( 5 b )). The X‐ray structure of 5 a provides evidence that the two bidentate SO? NHC ligands at palladium(II) are in square‐planar geometry. Two sulfoxides are sulfur‐ and oxygen‐bound, and constitute five‐ and six‐membered chelate rings with the metal center, respectively. In acetonitrile, complexes 5 a or 5 b spontaneously transform into cis‐[Pd(NHC)2(NCMe)2](PF6)2. Similar studies of thioether–NHCs have also been examined for comparison. The results indicate that sulfoxides are more labile than thioethers.  相似文献

1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies of gold(III), palladium(II) and platinum(II) chloride complexes with dimethylpyridines (lutidines: 2,3‐lutidine, 2,3lut; 2,4‐lutidine, 2,4lut; 3,5‐lutidine, 3,5lut; 2,6‐lutidine, 2,6lut) and 2,4,6‐trimethylpyridine (2,4,6‐collidine, 2,4,6col) having general formulae [AuLCl3], trans‐[PdL2Cl2] and trans‐/cis‐[PtL2Cl2] were performed and the respective chemical shifts (δ1H, δ13C, δ15N) reported. The deshielding of protons and carbons, as well as the shielding of nitrogens was observed. The 1H, 13C and 15N NMR coordination shifts (Δ1Hcoord, Δ13Ccoord, Δ15Ncoord; Δcoord = δcomplex ? δligand) were discussed in relation to some structural features of the title complexes, such as the type of the central atom [Au(III), Pd(II), Pt(II)], geometry (trans‐ or cis‐), metal‐nitrogen bond lengths and the position of both methyl groups in the pyridine ring system. A concise asymmetric (>99:1 e.r.) total synthesis of (+)‐anti‐ and (?)‐syn‐mefloquine hydrochloride from a common intermediate is described. The key asymmetric transformation is a Sharpless dihydroxylation of an olefin that is accessed in three steps from commercially available materials. The Sharpless‐derived diol is converted into either a trans or cis epoxide, and these are subsequently converted into (+)‐anti‐ and (?)‐syn‐mefloquine, respectively. The synthetic (+)‐anti‐ and (?)‐syn‐mefloquine samples were derivatized with (S)‐(+)‐mandelic acid tert‐butyldimethylsilyl ether, and a crystal structure of each derivative was obtained. These are the first X‐ray structures for mefloquine derivatives that were obtained by coupling to a known chiral, nonracemic compound, and provide definitive confirmation of the absolute stereochemistry of (+)‐anti‐ as well as (?)‐syn‐mefloquine.  相似文献

The reactions of 3‐phenyl‐1‐azabicyclo[1.1.0]butane ( 4 ) with dimethyl dicyanofumarate ((E)‐ 8 ) and dimethyl dicyanomaleate ((Z)‐ 8 ) lead to the same mixture of cis‐ and trans‐4‐phenyl‐1‐azabicyclo[2.1.1]hexane 2,3‐dicarboxylates (cis‐ 11 and trans‐ 11 , resp.; Scheme 3). This result of a formal cycloaddition to the central C? N bond of 4 is interpreted by a stepwise reaction mechanism via a relatively stable zwitterionic intermediate 10 , which could be intercepted by morpholine to give a 1 : 1 : 1 adduct 12 , which undergoes a spontaneous elimination of HCN to yield the fumarate 13 (Scheme 4).  相似文献

The thermal reaction of trans‐1‐methyl‐2,3‐diphenylaziridine (trans‐ 1a ) with aromatic and cycloaliphatic thioketones 2 in boiling toluene yielded the corresponding cis‐2,4‐diphenyl‐1,3‐thiazolidines cis‐ 4 via conrotatory ring opening of trans‐ 1a and a concerted [2+3]‐cycloaddition of the intermediate (E,E)‐configured azomethine ylide 3a (Scheme 1). The analogous reaction of cis‐ 1a with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate ( 5 ) gave dimethyl trans‐2,5‐dihydro‐1‐methyl‐2,5‐diphenylpyrrole‐3,4‐dicarboxylate (trans‐ 6 ) in accord with orbital‐symmetry‐controlled reactions (Scheme 2). On the other hand, the reactions of cis‐ 1a and trans‐ 1a with dimethyl dicyanofumarate ( 7a ), as well as that of cis‐ 1a and dimethyl dicyanomaleate ( 7b ), led to mixtures of the same two stereoisomeric dimethyl 3,4‐dicyano‐1‐methyl‐2,5‐diphenylpyrrolidine‐3,4‐dicarboxylates 8a and 8b (Scheme 3). This result has to be explained via a stepwise reaction mechanism, in which the intermediate zwitterions 11a and 11b equilibrate (Scheme 6). In contrast, cis‐1,2,3‐triphenylaziridine (cis‐ 1b ) and 7a gave only one stereoisomeric pyrrolidine‐3,4‐dicarboxylate 10 , with the configuration expected on the basis of orbital‐symmetry control, i.e., via concerted reaction steps (Scheme 10). The configuration of 8a and 10 , as well as that of a derivative of 8b , were established by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

In contrast to the thermal rearrangement, the photochemically induced methylenecyclopropane rearrangement of diethyl trans-methylenecyclopropane-2,3-dicarboxylate (I) and of ethyl ethoxycarbonylcyclopropylideneacetate (syn or anti) produced diethyl cis-methylenecyclopropane-2,3-dicarboxylate. A true photoequilibrium was not observed.  相似文献

To investigate how the central metalloligand geometry influences distant or vicinal metal‐to‐metal charge‐transfer (MMCT) properties of polynuclear complexes, cis‐ and trans‐isomeric heterotrimetallic complexes, and their one‐ and two‐electron oxidation products, cis/trans‐ [Cp(dppe)FeIINCRuII(phen)2CN‐FeII(dppe)Cp][PF6]2 (cis/trans‐ 1 [PF6]2), cis/trans‐[Cp(dppe)FeIINCRuII(phen)2CNFeIII‐(dppe)Cp][PF6]3 (cis/trans‐ 1 [PF6]3) and cis/trans‐[Cp(dppe)FeIIINCRuII(phen)2CN‐FeIII(dppe)Cp][PF6]4 (cis/trans‐ 1 [PF6]4) have been synthesized and characterized. Electrochemical measurements show the presence of electronic interactions between the two external FeII atoms of the cis‐ and trans‐isomeric complexes cis/trans‐ 1 [PF6]2. The electronic properties of all these complexes were studied and compared by spectroscopic techniques and TDDFT//DFT calculations. As expected, both mixed valence complexes cis/trans‐ 1 [PF6]3 exhibited different strong absorption signals in the NIR region, which should mainly be attributed to a transition from an MO that is delocalized over the RuII‐CN‐FeII subunit to a FeIII d orbital with some contributions from the co‐ligands. Moreover, the NIR transition energy in trans‐ 1 [PF6]3 is lower than that in cis‐ 1 [PF6]3, which is related to the symmetry of their molecular orbitals on the basis of the molecular orbital analysis. Also, the electronic spectra of the two‐electron oxidized complexes show that trans‐ 1 [PF6]4 possesses lower vicinal RuII→FeIII MMCT transition energy than cis‐ 1 [PF6]4. Moreover, the assignment of MMCT transition of the oxidized products and the differences of the electronic properties between the cis and trans complexes can be well rationalized using TDDFT//DFT calculations.  相似文献

The reaction of 9H‐fluorene‐9‐thione ( 1 ) with the cis‐ and trans‐isomers of dimethyl 1‐(4‐methoxyphenyl)aziridine‐2,3‐dicarboxylate (cis‐ and trans‐ 2 , resp.) in xylene at 110° yielded exclusively the spirocyclic cycloadduct with trans‐ and cis‐configurations, respectively (trans‐ and cis‐ 3 , resp.; Scheme 1). Analogously, less‐reactive thioketones, e.g., thiobenzophenone ( 5 ), and cis‐ 2 reacted stereoselectively to give the corresponding trans‐1,3‐thiazolidine‐2,4‐dicarboxylate (e.g., trans‐ 8 ; Scheme 2). On the other hand, the reaction of 5 and trans‐ 2 proceeded in a nonstereoselective course to provide a mixture of trans‐ and cis‐substituted cycloadducts. This result can be explained by an isomerization of the intermediate azomethine ylide. Dimethyl 1,3‐thiazolidine‐2,2‐dicarboxylates 14 and 15 were formed in the thermal reaction of dimethyl aziridine‐2,2‐dicarboxylate 11 with aromatic thioketones (Scheme 3). On treatment of 14 and 15 with Raney‐Ni in refluxing EtOH, a desulfurization and ring‐contraction led to the formation of azetidine‐2,2‐dicarboxylates 17 and 18 , respectively (Scheme 4).  相似文献

The reaction of 2,2,4,4‐tetramethyl‐3‐thioxocyclobutanone ( 1 ) with cis‐1‐alkyl‐2,3‐diphenylaziridines 5 in boiling toluene yielded the expected trans‐configured spirocyclic 1,3‐thiazolidines 6 (Scheme 1). Analogously, dimethyl trans‐1‐(4‐methoxyphenyl)aziridine‐2,3‐dicarboxylate (trans‐ 7 ) reacted with 1 and the corresponding dithione 2 , respectively, to give spirocyclic 1,3‐thiazolidine‐2,4‐dicarboxylates 8 (Scheme 2). However, mixtures of cis‐ and trans‐derivatives were obtained in these cases. Unexpectedly, the reaction of 1 with dimethyl 1,3‐diphenylaziridine‐2,2‐dicarboxylate ( 11 ) led to a mixture of the cycloadduct 13 and 5‐(isopropylidene)‐4‐phenyl‐1,3‐thiazolidine‐2,2‐dicarboxylate ( 14 ), a formal cycloadduct of azomethine ylide 12 with dimethylthioketene (Scheme 3). The regioisomeric adduct 16 was obtained from the reaction between 2 and 11 . The structures of 6b , cis‐ 8a , cis‐ 8b, 10 , and 16 have been established by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

The internal cyclisation of 1,5,9-cyclododecatriene, induced by a catalytical amount of Cp2TiCl2-LAHδ, leads to a mixture of cis, anti, cis-tricyclo[7.3.0.02,6]-7-dodecene (1), cis,syn,trans-tricyclo[7.3.0.02,6]-7-dodecene (2), trans,syn-tricyelop[7.3.0.02,6]-6-dodecene (3) and 5,6,7,8,9,10-hexahydrobenzocyclooctene (4). The structures of the main products were determined from the spectra of a number of derivatives taking into account symmetry properties and configurational flexibility.  相似文献

Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis of [2,6‐(Me2NCH2)2C6H3]2SnF2 reveals that only one of the two dimethylaminomethyl groups of each pincer‐type ligands [2,6‐(CH2NMe2)2C6H3]? is coordinated to the tin atom at Sn‐N distances of 2.576(2) and 2.470(2) Å, inducing chirality of the latter. The tin atom exhibits a distorted octahedral trans(C,C)cis(N,N)cis(F,F) configuration. Extensive intra‐ and intermolecular C‐H···F hydrogen bonding is observed with the latter giving rise to formation of polymeric chains.  相似文献

Oxiranes are a class of cyclic ethers formed in abundance during low‐temperature combustion of hydrocarbons and biofuels, either via chain‐propagating steps that occur from unimolecular decomposition of β‐hydroperoxyalkyl radicals (β‐?QOOH) or from reactions of H?O with alkenes. The cis‐ and trans‐isomers of 2,3‐dimethyloxirane are intermediates of n‐butane oxidation, and while rate coefficients for β‐?QOOH → 2,3‐dimethyloxirane + ?OH are reported extensively, subsequent reaction mechanisms of the cyclic ethers are not. As a result, chemical kinetics mechanisms commonly adopt simplified chemistry to describe the consumption of 2,3‐dimethyloxirane by convoluting several elementary reactions into a single step, which may introduce mechanism truncation error—uncertainty derived from missing or incomplete chemistry. The present research examines the isomer dependence of 2,3‐dimethyloxirane reaction mechanisms in support of ongoing efforts to minimize mechanism truncation error. Reaction mechanisms are inferred via the detection of products from Cl‐initiated oxidation of both cis‐2,3‐dimethyloxirane and trans‐2,3‐dimethyloxirane using multiplexed photoionization mass spectrometry (MPIMS). The experiments were conducted at 10 Torr and temperatures of 650 K and 800 K. To complement the experiments, the enthalpies of stationary points on the ?R + O2 surfaces were computed at the ccCA‐PS3 level of theory. In total, 28 barrier heights were computed on the 2,3‐dimethyloxiranylperoxy surfaces. Two notable aspects are low‐lying pathways that form resonance‐stabilized ketohydroperoxide‐type radicals caused by ?QOOH ring‐opening when the unpaired electron is localized adjacent to the ether group, and cistrans isomerization of ?R and ?QOOH radicals, via inversion, which enable reaction pathways otherwise restricted by stereochemistry. Several species were identified in the MPIMS experiments from ring opening of 2,3‐dimethyloxiranyl radicals. Neither of the two conjugate alkene isomers prototypical of ?R + O2 reactions were detected. Products were also identified from decomposition of ketohydroperoxide‐type radicals. The present work provides the first analysis of 2,3‐dimethyloxirane oxidation chemistry and reveals that consumption pathways are complex and require the expansion of submechanisms in chemical kinetics mechanisms.  相似文献

The synthesis of enantiopure (+)‐benzotricamphor syn‐ 5 , an important chiral C3‐symmetric rigid building block for supramolecular applications, was studied in detail to reduce the number of steps and to increase the diastereoselectivity and overall yield. The new synthetic procedure allowed larger amounts of syn‐ 5 to be obtained and used for the preparation of new derivatives, such as the corresponding tris‐trifluoromethanesulfonate syn‐ 12 , which was efficiently transformed into (+)‐benzotribornenetrinitrile syn‐ 1 and (+)‐benzotribornenetris(ethynyl‐4‐pyridine) syn‐ 2 . The previously reported (+)‐benzotricamphortrioxime syn‐ 6 was transformed into tris‐nitrile syn‐ 3 by Beckman reaction. Compounds syn‐ 1 – 3 were employed as multidentate ligands for silver(I) and platinum(II) centres in apolar solvents. The linear coordination geometry of AgI and square‐planar geometry of cis‐chelated PtII in combination with the chiral tripodal ligands syn‐ 1 – 3 led to the formation of chiral enantiopure capsules with M3L2 stoichiometry, as confirmed by 2D NMR NOESY and DOSY experiments as well as ESI mass spectrometry.  相似文献
