A quasi-linear boundary value problem has a solution with properties induced by oscillatory properties of the linear part of an equation. This result is proved for two dimensional systems. Consequences for Φ-Laplacian equations and problems with resonant linear parts are discussed.  相似文献

The stability and boundedness of the solution for stochastic functional differential equation with finite delay have been studied by several authors, but there is almost no work on the stability of the solutions for stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay. The main aim of this paper is to close this gap. We establish criteria of pth moment ψγ(t)-bounded for neutral stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay and exponentially stable criteria for stochastic functional differential equations with infinite delay, and we also illustrate the result with an example.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce new versions of ?-dual problems of a vector quasi-equilibrium problem with set-valued maps, and we give an ?-duality result between approximate solutions of the primal and dual problems. As the first application of the main result, we obtain an ?-duality for a vector quasi-equilibrium problem whose ?-solutions are understood in the sense of proper efficiency. The second application is devoted to an?-duality for a vector optimization problem with set-valued maps.  相似文献

We are concerned with an inverse problem for a degenerate linear evolution equation of first-order. Both hyperbolic and parabolic cases will be considered. We indicate sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of a solution. All the results can be applied to inverse problems for equations from mathematical physics. In this paper, by using semigroup approach, we concerned with the regularity of the age-dependent population system with instantaneous time delay in the birth process. We prove that, under some additional condition, the solution semigroup of the population evolution equation is eventually differentiable, i.e., there exists t0>0 such that T(t) is differentiable for t>t0.  相似文献

In this paper, the multiplicity of Lagrangian orbits on C2 smooth compact symmetric star-shaped hypersurfaces with respect to the origin in R2n is studied. These Lagrangian orbits begin from one Lagrangian subspace and end on another. An infinitely many existence result is proved via Z2-index theory. This is a multiplicity result about the Arnold Chord Conjecture in some sense, and is a generalization of the problem about the multiplicity of Lagrangian orbits beginning from and ending on the same Lagrangian subspace which was considered in the authors' previous paper [F. Guo, C. Liu, Multiplicity of Lagrangian orbits on symmetric star-shaped hypersurfaces, Nonlinear Anal. 69 (4) (2008) 1425-1436].  相似文献

In this paper we prove some compactness results for a large class of singular transport equations. Our approach relies on some comparison results for positive operators. Facility location problems have been investigated in the Operations Research literature from a variety of algorithmic perspectives, including those of approximation algorithms, heuristics, and linear programming. We introduce the study of these problems from the point of view of parameterized algorithms and complexity. In this paper, the solution of the nonlinear evolution inclusion problem of the form u(t)+B(t,u(t))∋f(t) is studied. In this problem, the operators are of type (M) or type (S+), which are different from those of pseudo-monotone operators that had been studied by many authors. At the same time, we study the perturbation problem. In fact, many kinds of evolution equations can be generalized by this problem. The former results are improved and generalized by our conclusions, and we will give more applications.  相似文献

A kernel N of a digraph D is an independent set of vertices of D such that for every wV(D)−N there exists an arc from w to N. If every induced subdigraph of D has a kernel, D is said to be a kernel perfect digraph. D is called a critical kernel imperfect digraph when D has no kernel but every proper induced subdigraph of D has a kernel. If F is a set of arcs of D, a semikernel modulo F of D is an independent set of vertices S of D such that for every zV(D)−S for which there exists an (S,z)-arc of DF, there also exists an (z,S)-arc in D. In this work we show sufficient conditions for an infinite digraph to be a kernel perfect digraph, in terms of semikernel modulo F. As a consequence it is proved that symmetric infinite digraphs and bipartite infinite digraphs are kernel perfect digraphs. Also we give sufficient conditions for the following classes of infinite digraphs to be kernel perfect digraphs: transitive digraphs, quasi-transitive digraphs, right (or left)-pretransitive digraphs, the union of two right (or left)-pretransitive digraphs, the union of a right-pretransitive digraph with a left-pretransitive digraph, the union of two transitive digraphs, locally semicomplete digraphs and outward locally finite digraphs.  相似文献

We continue our work (Y. Li, C. Zhao, Locating the peaks of least-energy solutions to a quasilinear elliptic Neumann problem, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 336 (2007) 1368-1383) to study the shape of least-energy solutions to the quasilinear problem εmΔmuum−1+f(u)=0 with homogeneous Neumann boundary condition. In this paper we focus on the case 1<m<2 as a complement to our previous work on the case m≥2. We use an intrinsic variation method to show that as the case m≥2, when ε→0+, the global maximum point Pε of least-energy solutions goes to a point on the boundary Ω at a rate of o(ε) and this point on the boundary approaches a global maximum point of mean curvature of Ω.  相似文献

This paper consider the multiple solutions for even Hamiltonian systems satisfying Sturm-Liouville boundary conditions. The gradient of Hamiltonian function is generalized asymptotically linear. The solutions obtained are shown to coincide with the critical points of a dual functional. Thanks to the index theory for linear Hamiltonian systems by Dong (2010) [1], we find critical points of this dual functional by verifying the assumptions of a lemma about multiple critical points given by Chang (1993) [2].  相似文献

We develop a global Hopf bifurcation theory for a system of functional differential equations with state-dependent delay. The theory is based on an application of the homotopy invariance of S1-equivariant degree using the formal linearization of the system at a stationary state. Our results show that under a set of mild conditions the information about the characteristic equation of the formal linearization with frozen delay can be utilized to detect the local Hopf bifurcation and to describe the global continuation of periodic solutions for such a system with state-dependent delay.  相似文献

In this paper we characterize the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions of inhomogeneous abstract delay equations and establish maximal regularity results for strong solutions. The conditions are obtained in terms of R-boundedness of linear operators determined by the equations and Lp- Fourier multipliers. We study the long time behavior of solutions for damped wave equations with absorption. These equations are generally accepted as models of wave propagation in heterogeneous media with space-time dependent friction a(t,x)ut and nonlinear absorption |u|p−1u (Ikawa (2000) [17]). We consider 1<p<(n+2)/(n−2) and separable a(t,x)=λ(x)η(t) with λ(x)∼(1+|x|)α and η(t)∼(1+t)β satisfying conditions (A1) or (A2) which are given. The main results are precise decay estimates for the energy, L2 and Lp+1 norms of solutions. We also observe the following behavior: if α∈[0,1), β∈(−1,1) and 0<α+β<1, there are three different regions for the decay of solutions depending on p; if α∈(−,0) and β∈(−1,1), there are only two different regions for the decay of the solutions depending on p.  相似文献
