Proposing a good exit scenario can make great contributions to improving road conditions. The influence of two exit scenarios, which depend on the dynamic behavior of the last vehicle (that closest to the exit), on the route flux, vehicle number, and speed by using two feedback strategies with different arrival rates (Vp) was studied. We find that the weight of the route is dynamic instead of static, which depends on the real route conditions. In our case study, we find that the flux threshold value with respect to the necessity of applying information feedback strategy is 0.32 (which corresponds to Vp≈0.65). Further, we illustrate the velocity distribution plots of each route, which provide us with most of the important information we need, when adopting different feedback strategies and exit scenarios with two arrival rates (Vp). 相似文献

在Nagel-Schreckenberg(NS)模型的基础上,提出一种可应用智能交通系统(ITS)信息的新的交通流元胞自动机模型. 其中考虑了有效间距及刹车灯的作用,并引入了可变安全间距的新概念. 数值模拟表明:对于这种改进的ITS元胞自动机模型,道路交通量有了显著提高,体现了智能交通的优越性——有效地扩大交通流量,减少阻塞生成. 当考虑快车和慢车的混合交通流时,发现即使少量的慢车也会导致交通流量大幅度下降,说明了严格实施快慢道行驶的必要性.

We first study the influence of an efficient feedback strategy named the prediction feedback strategy (PFS) based on a multi-route scenario in which dynamic information can be generated and displayed on the board to guide road users to make a choice. In this scenario, our model incorporates the effects of adaptability into the cellular automaton models of traffic flow. Simulation results adopting this optimal information feedback strategy have demonstrated high efficiency in controlling spatial distribution of traffic patterns compared with the other three information feedback strategies, i.e., vehicle number and flux. At the end of this paper, we also discuss in what situation PFS will become invalid in multi-route systems. 相似文献

Information feedback strategies can influence the traffic efficiency of intelligent traffic systems greatly.Based on the more practical symmetrical two-route scenario with one entrance and one exit,an improved weighted mean velocity feedback strategy(WMVFS) is proposed,which is not sensitive to the precision of global position system(GPS) devices.The applicability of WMVFS to different weight factors,aggressive probabilities,densities of dynamic vehicles,and different two-route scenarios(symmetrical scenario and asymmetrical scenario with a speed limit bottleneck) is analyzed.Results show that WMVFS achieves the best performance compared with three other information feedback strategies when considering the traffic flux and stability. 相似文献

<正>The effect of cars with intelligent transportation systems(ITSs) on traffic flow near an on-ramp is investigated by car-following simulations.By numerical simulations,the dependences of flux on the inflow rate are investigated for various proportions of cars with ITSs.The phase diagrams as well as the spatiotemporal diagrams are presented to show different traffic flow states on the main road and the on-ramp.The results show that the saturated flux on the main road increases and the free flow region is enlarged with the increase of the proportion of cars with ITS.Interestingly,the congested regions of the main road disappear completely when the proportion is larger than a critical value.Further investigation shows that the capacity of the on-ramp system can be promoted by 13%by using the ITS information, and the saturated flux on the on-ramp can be kept at an appropriate value by adjusting the proportion of cars with ITS. 相似文献

This paper uses the cellular automaton model to study the
dynamics of traffic flow around an on-ramp with an acceleration lane.
It adopts a parameter, which can reflect different lane-changing
behaviour, to represent the diversity of driving behaviour. The
refined cellular automaton model is used to describe the lower
acceleration rate of a vehicle. The phase diagram and the capacity of the
on-ramp system are investigated. The simulation results show that in
the single cell model, the capacity of the on-ramp system will stay
at the highest flow of a one lane system when the driver is moderate
and careful; it will be reduced when the driver is aggressive. In
the refined cellular automaton model, the capacity is always reduced
even when the driver is careful. It proposes that the capacity drop of
the on-ramp system is caused by aggressive lane-changing behaviour

An improved cellular automaton model for pedestrian dynamics was established, where both static floor field and collision effect derived from game theory were considered. Several model parameters were carefully determined by previous studies. Results obtained through model-based simulation and analytical approach (derived from mean field approximation) proved that outflow rate from an evacuation exit, which is usually estimated using outflow coefficient in building codes in Japan, can be improved by placing an appropriate obstacle in front of the exit. This can reduce collision probability at the exit by increasing collisions around the obstacles ahead of the exit. 相似文献

在Greenberg-Hasting元胞自动机模型中引入了正常元胞和老化元胞,并规定只有老化元胞存在早期后除极化现象且早期后除极化可以激发其他元胞.在正常元胞和老化元胞均匀分布的情况下,研究了早期后除极化对螺旋波演化行为的影响,重点探讨了早期后除极化导致的螺旋波破碎方式.数值模拟结果表明:早期后除极化在比率约为26.4%的少数情况下不对螺旋波产生影响,在其他情况下则会对螺旋波产生各种影响,包括使螺旋波漫游、漂移、波臂发生形变以及导致螺旋波破碎和消失等.观察到早期后除极化通过传导障碍消失和通过转变为反靶波消失,早期后除极化导致螺旋波破碎有8种方式,包括非对称破缺导致的破碎、对称破缺导致的破碎、同时激发双波导致的破碎、非对称激发导致的破碎、整体传导障碍导致的破碎、整体快速破碎等.分析发现这些螺旋波破碎现象都与早期后除极化产生回火波有关,得到螺旋波破碎的总比率通常约为13.8%,但是在适当选取老化元胞密度和早期后除极化的激发下,螺旋波破碎比率可达到32.4%,这些结果与心律失常致死的统计结果基本一致,本文对产生这些现象的物理机理做了简要分析. 相似文献

基于智能交通诱导信息,提出一种改进的耦合映射跟驰模型,用于描述单车道的交通流动力学特性及其拥堵控制.利用反馈控制理论,给出了在头车速度发生变化时交通流保持稳定的条件.分析结果表明,考虑前方更多车辆的信息对交通流有致稳作用,亦即稳定性条件明显减弱.数值模拟证实了理论分析的正确性,通过与他人相关工作的比较得知,考虑智能交通诱导信息能够更有效地抑制交通拥堵.

The development direction of railway is to improve the capacity and the service quality, where the service quality includes safety, schedule, high speed, and comfort. In light of the existing cellular automaton models, in this paper, we develop a model to analyze the mixed running processes of trains with maximal speeds of 500 km/h and 350 km/h respectively in the moving block system. In the proposed model, we establish some sound rules to control the running process of train, where the rules include the departure rules in the intermediate stations, the overtaking rules, and the conditions of speed limitation for train stopping at a station or passing through a station. With the consideration of the mixed ratio and the distance between two adjacent stations, the properties of the train traffic flow (including capacity and average speed) are simulated. The numerical results show that the interactions among different trains will affect the capacity, and a proper increasing of the spatial distance between two adjacent stations can enhance the capacity and the average speed under the moving block. 相似文献

Based on simulations with cellular automaton (CA) traffic flow models, a generic physical feature of the three-phase models studied in the paper is disclosed. The generic feature is a discontinuous character of driver over-acceleration caused by a combination of two qualitatively different mechanisms of over-acceleration: (i) Over-acceleration through lane changing to a faster lane, (ii) over-acceleration occurring in car-following without lane changing. Based on this generic feature a new three-phase CA traffic flow model is developed. This CA model explains the set of the fundamental empirical features of traffic breakdown in real heterogeneous traffic flow consisting of passenger vehicles and trucks. Sandpile-based models have successfully shed light on key features of nonlinear relaxational processes in nature, particularly the occurrence of fat-tailed magnitude distributions and exponential return times, from simple local stress redistributions. In this work, we extend the existing sandpile paradigm into an inter-sandpile cascade, wherein the avalanches emanating from a uniformly-driven sandpile (first layer) is used to trigger the next (second layer), and so on, in a successive fashion. Statistical characterizations reveal that avalanche size distributions evolve from a power-law p(S)≈S−1.3 for the first layer to gamma distributions p(S)≈Sαexp(−S/S0) for layers far away from the uniformly driven sandpile. The resulting avalanche size statistics is found to be associated with the corresponding waiting time distribution, as explained in an accompanying analytic formulation. Interestingly, both the numerical and analytic models show good agreement with actual inventories of non-uniformly driven events in nature. 相似文献

高架道路上的交织区时常成为交通瓶颈.以Nagel和Schreckenberg提出的NS元胞自动机交通流模型为基础,考虑到换道因素,对高架路主线为单车道时的交织区路段进行了数值模拟和分析.结果表明:当交通流稀疏时,车流的交织行为对系统影响不大,即使加大交织区长度,整个系统的交通流参数也变化不大;当交通流拥挤时,交织行为会对系统产生不良影响,此时加大交织区长度,可以改善整个系统的交通流状况.模拟结果显示,交织区长度并非越大越好,工程设计中选取一个适宜的中间值,整个系统就可以获得很好的运行效果.

在STNS模型的基础上,建立了可利用智能交通系统实时信息的高速公路可变速度限制区段元胞自动机模型,对动态速度控制区段的交通流特性进行模拟,分析了不同有效限速值、区段长度与交通状况下的限速对交通流和道路通行能力的影响,以及限速有效性条件.模拟结果表明可变速度限制作为交通管理控制的辅助手段,具有一定的使用条件,针对不同交通状况采用不同的最优限速值和区段长度的动态速度控制方法,可在保证交通安全的前提下达到抑制交通拥堵、减少车辆总通行时间从而提高道路实际通行能力的目的. 相似文献
