In this paper, we introduce a new iterative scheme for finding the common element of the set of common fixed points of infinitely many nonexpansive mappings, the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for α-inverse-strongly monotone mapping in Hilbert spaces. We prove that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of the above three sets under some parameters controlling conditions. This main result improve and extend Plubtieng and Punpaeng’s corresponding result [S. Plubtieng, R. Punpaeng, A new iterative method for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems of nonexpansive mappings and monotone mappings, Applied Mathematics and Computation 197 (2008), 548–558]. Using this theorem, we obtain three corollaries.  相似文献

We prove that if H is a Hilbert space then the Schatten (trace) class operators on H has the weak fixed point property for left reversible semigroups. This answered positively a problem raised by A.T.-M. Lau. We also prove that if M is a finite von Neumann algebra then any nonempty bounded convex subset of the non-commutative L1-space associated to M that is compact for the measure topology has the fixed point property for left reversible semigroups.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the notion of a hybrid generalized multi-valued contraction mapping and establish the common fixed point theorem for this mapping. Our results generalize, unify, extend and complement several common fixed point theorems of many authors in the literature.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a family of infinitely nonexpansive mappings, the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for α-inverse-strongly monotone mapping in the framework of a Hilbert space. Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems for approximating a common element of the above three sets are obtained. Additionally, we utilize our results to study the optimization problem and find a zero of a maximal monotone operator and a strictly pseudocontractive mapping in a real Hilbert space. Our results improve and extend the results announced by many others.  相似文献

The existence of common fixed points is established for three mappings where T is either generalized (f,g)-nonexpansive or asymptotically (f,g)-nonexpansive on a nonempty subset of a Banach space. As applications, the invariant best simultaneous approximation results are proved and the existence of solution of variational inequalities is obtained. Our results unify and substantially improve several recent results existing in the current literature.  相似文献

In this paper, several weak and strong convergence theorems are established for a modified Noor iterative scheme with errors for three asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. Mann-type, Ishikawa-type, and Noor-type iterations are covered by the new iteration scheme. Our results extend and improve the recently announced ones [B.L. Xu, M.A. Noor, Fixed point iterations for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 267 (2002) 444-453; Y.J. Cho, H. Zhou, G. In this paper, the concept of asymptotically hemi-pseudocontractive mapping in Banach space, which is a proper generalization of asymptotically pseudocontractive mapping with nonempty fixed point set as shown by an example, is introduced. Some sufficient and necessary conditions on the strong convergence of the modified Ishikawa and the modified Mann iteration sequences with mean errors for uniformly L-Lipshitzian asymptotically hemi-pseudocontractive mappings are presented.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative process which converges strongly to a common element of set of common fixed points of countably infinite family of closed relatively quasi- nonexpansive mappings, the solution set of generalized equilibrium problem and the solution set of the variational inequality problem for a γ-inverse strongly monotone mapping in Banach spaces. In this paper, we consider a class of operator equilibrium problems (OEP for short) with operator solutions and derive a Minty type lemma for this class of problems. Some common fixed point theorems due to Abbas and Khan [M. Abbas, A.R. Khan, Common fixed points of generalized contractive hybrid pairs in symmetric spaces, Fixed Point Theor. Rhoades, Common fixed point theorems for hybrid pairs of occasionally weakly compatible mappings defined on symmetric spaces, Pan. Amer. Math. J. 18 (1) (2008) 55-62] are proved for two new classes of hybrid pair of mappings which contain occasionally weakly compatible hybrid pairs as a proper subclass. Consequently, some results proved by Hussain et al. [N. Hussain, M.A. Khamsi, A. Latif, Common fixed points for JH-operators and occasionally weakly biased pairs under relaxed conditions, Nonlinear Anal. 74 (2011) 2133-2140], Bhatt et al. [A. Bhatt, et al., Common fixed point theorems for occasionally weakly compatible mappings under relaxed conditions, Nonlinear Anal. 73 (2010) 176-182] and many others are extended to hybrid pair of mappings. Let X be a Banach space and C a bounded, closed, convex subset of X. C is said to have the weak-approximate fixed point property if for any norm-continuous mapping , there exists a sequence {xn} in C such that (xnfn(xn)) converges to 0 weakly. It is known that every infinite-dimensional Banach space with the Schur property does not have the weak-approximate fixed point property. In this article, we show that every Asplund space has the weak-approximate fixed point property. Applications to the asymptotic fixed point theory are given.  相似文献

In image processing, image denoising and texture extraction are important problems in which many new methods recently have been developed. One of the most important models is the OSV model [S. Osher, A. Solé, L. Vese, Image decomposition and restoration using total variation minimization and the H-1 norm, Multiscale Model. Simul. A SIAM Interdisciplinary J. 1(3) (2003) 349-370] which is constructed by the total variation and H-1 norm. This paper proves the existence of the minimizer of the functional from the OSV model and analyzes the convergence of an iterative method for solving the problems. Our iteration method is constructed by a fixed point iteration on the fourth order partial differential equation from the computation of the associated Euler-Lagrange equation, and the limit of our iterations satisfies the minimizer of the functional from the OSV model. In numerical experiments, we compare the numerical results of our works with those of the ROF model [L.I. Rudin, S. Osher, E. Fatemi, Nonlinear total variation based noise removal algorithms, Phys. Applying some of Ernest Michael's selection theorems, from recent fixed point theorems on u.s.c. multimaps, we deduce generalizations of the classical Bolzano theorem, several fixed point theorems on multimaps defined on almost convex sets, almost fixed point theorems, coincidence theorems, and collectively fixed point theorems. These results are related mainly to Michael maps, that is, l.s.c. multimaps having nonempty closed convex values.  相似文献

We prove the existence of fixed points for multivalued nonexpansive nonself-mappings on a weakly orthogonal reflexive Banach lattice with uniformly monotone norm. Moreover, for single-valued mappings, we extend Betiuk-Pilarska and Prus’s result [A. Betiuk-Pilarska, S. Prus, Banach lattices which are order uniformly noncreasy, J. Math. Anal. Facility location problems have been investigated in the Operations Research literature from a variety of algorithmic perspectives, including those of approximation algorithms, heuristics, and linear programming. We introduce the study of these problems from the point of view of parameterized algorithms and complexity. In this paper, we prove a higher Lefschetz formula for foliations in the presence of a closed Haefliger current. To this end, we associate with such a current an equivariant cyclic cohomology class of Connes' C-algebra of the foliation, and compute its pairing with the localized equivariant K-theory in terms of local contributions near the fixed points.  相似文献

Let X be a complete CAT(0) space. We prove that, if E is a nonempty bounded closed convex subset of X and a nonexpansive mapping satisfying the weakly inward condition, i.e., there exists pE such that ∀xE, ∀α∈[0,1], then T has a fixed point. In Banach spaces, this is a result of Lim [On asymptotic centers and fixed points of nonexpansive mappings, Canad. J. Math. 32 (1980) 421-430]. Let ΩCn be a bounded starlike circular domain with 0∈Ω. In this paper, we introduce a class of holomorphic mappings Mg on Ω. Let f(z) be a normalized locally biholomorphic mapping on Ω such that and z=0 is the zero of order k+1 of f(z)−z. We obtain a sharp growth theorem and sharp coefficient bounds for f(z). As applications, sharp distortion theorems for a subclass of starlike mappings are obtained. These results unify and generalize many known results.  相似文献
