In this paper, the integral bifurcation method is used to study a nonlinearly dispersive wave equation of Camassa-Holm equation type. Loop soliton solution and periodic loop soliton solution, solitary wave solution and solitary cusp wave solution, smooth periodic wave solution and non-smooth periodic wave solution of this equation are obtained, their dynamic characters are discussed. Some solutions have an interesting phenomenon that one solution admits multi-waves when parameters vary.  相似文献

Utilizing the methods of dynamical system theory, the Dullin-Gottwald-Holm equation is studied in this paper. The dynamical behaviors of the traveling wave solutions and their bifurcations are presented in different parameter regions. Furthermore, the exact explicit forms of all possible bounded solutions, such as solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and breaking loop wave solutions are obtained.  相似文献

It has been found that some nonlinear wave equations have one-loop soliton solutions. What is the dynamical behavior of the so-called one-loop soliton solution? To answer this question, the travelling wave solutions for four nonlinear wave equations are discussed. Exact explicit parametric representations of some special travelling wave solutions are given. The results of this paper show that a loop solution consists of three different breaking travelling wave solutions. It is not one real loop soliton travelling wave solution.  相似文献

Under different parametric conditions, various sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of the above solutions are given. This paper study the traveling wave solutions of the Casimir equation for the Ito system. Since the derivative function of the wave function is a solution of a planar dynamical system, from which the exact parametric representations of solutions and bifurcations of phase portraits can be obtained. Thus, we show that corresponding to the compacton solutions of the derivative function system, there exist uncountably infinite kink wave solutions of the wave equation. Corresponding to the positive or negative periodic solutions and homoclinic solutions of the derivative function system, there exist unbounded wave solutions of the wave function equation.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the traveling wave solutions for a complex short-pulse equation of both focusing and defocusing types, which governs the propagation of ultrashort pulses in nonlinear optical fibers. It can be viewed as an analog of the nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation in the ultrashort-pulse regime. The corresponding traveling wave systems of the equivalent complex short-pulse equations are two singular planar dynamical systems with four singular straight lines. By using the method of dynamical systems, bifurcation diagrams and explicit exact parametric representations of the solutions are given, including solitary wave solution, periodic wave solution, peakon solution, periodic peakon solution and compacton solution under different parameter conditions.  相似文献

The traveling wave solutions of the magma equation are studied by using the approach of dynamical systems and the theory of bifurcations. With the aid of Maple, all bifurcations and phase portraits in the parametric space are obtained. Under different regions of parametric space, various sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of solitary wave, periodic wave and breaking wave solutions are given. By using the method of planar dynamical systems to an integrable nonlinear wave equation, the existence of periodic travelling wave, solitary wave and kink wave solutions is proved in the different parametric conditions. The phase portraits of the travelling wave system are given. It can be shown that the existence of singular curves in the travelling wave system is the reason why the travelling wave solutions lose their smoothness. Moreover, the so-called W/M-shaped solitary wave solutions are obtained.  相似文献

Zhou and Tian [J.B. Zhou, L.X. Tian, A type of bounded travelling wave solutions for the Fornberg-Whitham equation, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 346 (2008) 255-261] successfully found a type of bounded travelling wave solutions of the Fornberg-Whitham equation. In this paper, we improve the previous result by using the phase portrait analytical technology. Moreover, some smooth periodic wave, smooth solitary wave, periodic cusp wave and loop-soliton solutions are given, and the numerical simulation is made. The results show that our theoretical analysis agrees with the numerical simulation.  相似文献
