A study of eight silane coupling agents showed very different effect of these compounds on the mechanical properties of PP/CaCO3composites. The application of aminofunctional silane coupling agents resulted in the reactive coupling of the two inactive components leading to increased strength and decreased deformability. A detailed study of the interaction between CaCO3and the various coupling agents was carried out in order to find an explanation for the strong coupling effect. The amount of coupling agent creating a monolayer coverage was determined by a dissolution method for each coupling agent. The obtained values changed between 0.3 and 1.0 wt% calculated for the CaCO3. An attempt was made to determine the orientation of the adsorbed molecules to the filler surface. Most of the coupling agents are oriented perpendicularly to the surface with the exception of a methacryl functional silane compound. Possible interactions between hydrolyzed or condensed silane coupling agents and the filler were studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy using transmitting (FTIR-TS) and diffuse reflectance (DRIFT) modes, as well as gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The results showed that bulky organofunctional groups form a caged, polycyclic, low-molecular-weight structure on the surface, while silanes with smaller groups tend to condense into open, ladder type, high-molecular-weight polysiloxane chains. Polymer/filler adhesion, however, depends primarily on the chemical character of the organofunctional group. Aminofunctional silane coupling agents adhere well to the filler surface and react also with the polymer. In the case of similar functionality the size of the organofunctional group determines the strength of the adhesion.  相似文献

Herein, a coupling reaction of enol ethers with silyl ketene imines in the presence of catalytic amounts of InBr3 and Me3SiBr is described. Kinetic studies have revealed that an indium catalyst and Me3SiBr accelerated the coupling process and the regeneration of the catalyst, respectively. Various types of enol ethers and silyl ketene imines are applicable. In addition, a formal synthesis of verapamil was achieved by using this novel coupling reaction.  相似文献

A convenient, new, and effective protocol for a rapid synthesis of different substituted 3-arylcoumarins is reported. The developed synthetic route involves Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction, using a catalytic complex Pd-salen. Under these conditions, a series of different substituted boronic acids have been successfully reacted with a coumarin halide to afford the coupling products in good yields.  相似文献

A novel concept for catalytic asymmetric coupling reactions is presented. Merging organocatalysis with single‐electron oxidation by using a catalytic amount of a copper(II) salt and air as the terminal oxidant, we have developed a highly stereoselective carbon–carbon oxidative coupling reaction of α,β‐unsaturated aldehydes. The concept relies on the generation of a dienamine intermediate, which is oxidized to an open‐shell activated species that undergoes highly selective γ‐homo‐ and γ‐heterocoupling reactions. In the majority of examples presented, only a single stereoisomer was formed.  相似文献

Direct Csp3-Csp3 coupling of various aliphatic trimethylsilyl ethers and allylsilanes is effectively catalyzed by InCl3 and I2. The transformation is thought to involve an in situ-derived combined Lewis acid of InCl3 and Me3SiI. The reaction can be used for the construction of quaternary-quaternary and quaternary-tertiary carbon-carbon bonds. This system enabled a highly chemoselective coupling to be conducted with a trimethylsilyl ether including an aryl halide moiety. Furthermore, couplings were possible using an alkynyltrimethylsilane and a trimethylsilyl ketene acetal.  相似文献

We herein report the hitherto unknown synthesis of 3-deazacarbovir and its adenosine analogue. The major highlight in the synthesis of adenosine analogs is to use 6-N,N-diboc protected 3-deazapurines 9 and 11 for regioselective Mitsunobu coupling as well as unexplored palladium catalyzed coupling with these substrates. Synthesis of 3-deazacarbovir 1 has been accomplished by the regioselective palladium catalyzed coupling of 6-N,N-diphenylcarbamoyl protected 3-deazaguanine base 18 with dicarbonate 14. All the target nucleosides were screened for anti-HIV-1 activity and none of them have significant activity as well as toxicity up to 100 μM.  相似文献

The 3M Company product Novec? 71IPA DL, a mixture of methoxyperfluorobutane, methoxyperfluoroisobutane and 4.5 wt.% isopropyl alcohol, has been found to be very stable at ambient temperature, producing fluoride at the rate of ~1 ppm/year. Our earlier kinetic and theoretical studies have identified the reaction mechanism. This paper identifies the 1H and 19F NMR chemical shifts, multiplicities, and coupling constants of reactants and the major products that result from aging the mixture in sealed Pyrex NMR tubes for periods up to 1.8 years at temperatures from 26 °C to 102 °C. Chemical shifts and coupling constants of fluorine and hydrogen atoms on the hydrofluoroethers and isopropyl alcohol are traced through the reactions to their values in the products – esters, isopropylmethyl ether, and HF. These spectral positions, multiplicities, and coupling constants are presented in table format and as figures to clarify the transformations observed as the samples age. The proton NMR spectra of several 1,4-thiazinan-3-ones were analyzed using LAOCOON. The geminal and vicinal coupling constants indicate that the ring conformation of this heterocycle is a half-chair similar to δ-valerolactam. Molecular mechanics calculations show that the energy of the boat is only slightly higher than that of the half-chair. The conformational equilibria of methyl-substituted compounds were calculated by the coupling constant method. These energies are compared to those obtained by molecular mechanics.  相似文献

Conditions for a FeCl3/PPh3-catalyzed and palladium-, copper-, amine free-Sonogashira coupling reaction of aryl halides with terminal alkynes are reported. An enantiospecific palladium‐catalyzed decarboxylative coupling of acyclic β,γ‐alkynoic acids with various aryl iodides to chiral tetrasubstituted allenes is described. This paper describes the palladium-catalyzed arylation of 1-substituted 3-aminopyrrolidines or piperidines. Palladium(0) (1-2 mol %) in conjunction with "Buchwald's ligand" [2-(dimethylamino)-2'-(dicyclohexylphosphine)biphenyl] was shown to be the catalyst of choice for the coupling with aryl bromides or chlorides. When bromobenzene was used, a strong temperature effect was noticed. Whereas no reaction occurred at 100 degrees C, yields higher than 85% were obtained at 130 degrees C for each substrate. Such an effect was not observed when diphosphines were used. Whereas Xantphos and, to a lesser extent BINAP, were moderately efficient in the coupling of all diamines, the palladium-mediated arylation in the presence of monophosphines was strongly dependent on the substrate. The results suggest the participation of both nitrogens of the aminoheterocycle in the reactive intermediate. This participation could also account for the highly selective arylation of the endocyclic nitrogen of unsubstituted 3-aminopyrrolidine or piperidine. Optimal conditions were found for the arylation using 2- or 4-substituted electron-poor or enriched aryl halides.  相似文献

The ruthenium-catalyzed alkenylation of C-H bonds with alkenylboronates has been explored for a series of aromatic ketones. The coupling reaction of pivalophenone (1) with 2-isopropenyl-5,5-dimethyl[1,3,2]dioxaborinane (2) gave the corresponding isopropenylation product in 73% yield. In the case of the reaction of a sterically congested alkenylboronate, such as 2-methylpropenylboronate (8), the yield was decreased slightly. When beta-styrylboronates were used, the corresponding coupling products were obtained in good yields. The reaction of acetophenone with alpha-styrylboronate afforded the corresponding 1:1 coupling product, exclusively.  相似文献

Transport of conduction electrons and holes through the lattice of alpha-Cr2O3 (chromia) is modeled as a valence alternation of chromium cations using ab initio electronic structure calculations and electron-transfer theory. In the context of the small polaron model, a cluster approach was used to compute quantities controlling the mobility of localized electrons and holes, i.e., the reorganization energy and the electronic coupling matrix element that enter Marcus' theory. The calculation of the electronic coupling followed the generalized Mulliken-Hush approach using the complete active space self-consistent-field (CASSCF) method and the quasidiabatic method. Our findings indicate that hole mobility is more than three orders of magnitude larger than electron mobility in both (001) and [001] lattice directions. The difference arises mainly from the larger internal reorganization energy calculated for electron-transport relative to hole-transport processes while electronic couplings have similar magnitudes. The much larger hole mobility versus electron mobility in alpha-Cr2O3 is in contrast to similar hole and electron mobilities in hematite alpha-Fe2O3 previously calculated. Our calculations also indicate that the electronic coupling for all charge-transfer processes of interest is smaller than for the corresponding processes in hematite. This variation is attributed to the weaker interaction between the metal 3d states and the O(2p) states in chromia than in hematite, leading to a smaller overlap between the charge-transfer donor and acceptor wave functions and smaller superexchange coupling in chromia. Nevertheless, the weaker coupling in chromia is still sufficiently large to suggest that charge-transport processes in chromia are adiabatic in nature. The electronic coupling is found to depend on both the superexchange interaction through the bridging oxygen atoms and the d-shell electron-spin coupling within the Cr-Cr donor-acceptor pair, while the reorganization energy is essentially independent of the electron-spin coupling.  相似文献

A variety of 2-hydroxy aldehydes on reaction with 3-butenoic acid afford in a one-pot reaction the corresponding 3-vinylcoumarins. As expected, extension of the delocalized π-electron system accomplished by Heck coupling reactions with aryl halides results in an increased fluorescence of the compounds whose applicability is yet to be established.  相似文献
