We obtain sufficient conditions for the absolute convergence of Fourier series for functions of L d 2 depending on the properties of the function being expanded and the rate of growth of the sums of the system of functions {k(t)} orthonormalized in [a, b] with respect to d(t). We prove a representation of the partial autocorrelation function (PACF) of a stationary process, or of the Verblunsky coefficients of its normalized spectral measure, in terms of the Fourier coefficients of the phase function. It is not of fractional form, whence simpler than the existing one obtained by the second author. Measures and sequences of functions on locally compact spaces are studied, and a condition is given that, for a sequence of functions that is weakly convergent in L1, ensures the strong convergence of a related sequence of functions. A conjecture appears in Kumar and Sabanis (2016), in the form of a remark, where it is stated that it is possible to construct, in a specified way, any high order explicit numerical schemes to approximate the solutions of SDEs with superlinear coefficients. We answer this conjecture to the positive for the case of order 1.5 approximations and show that the suggested methodology works. It is well-known that if a multiple trigonometric series almost everywhere converges in the square or restricted rectangular sense to a finite function, then its coefficients grow slower than any exponential function. In this paper we prove the existence of a multiple Haar series that converges in the square or restricted rectangular sense to a finite function and contains a subsequence of coefficients that grows faster than any sequence defined in advance. Moreover, we show that for such series conditions of the Arutyunyan-Talalyan type can be violated at some points.  相似文献
