In this paper we introduce an implicit iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of common fixed points of NN nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem for a monotone, Lipschitz-continuous mapping. The implicit iterative scheme is based on two well-known methods: extragradient and approximate proximal. We obtain a weak convergence theorem for three sequences generated by this implicit iterative scheme. On the basis of this theorem, we also construct an implicit iterative process for finding a common fixed point of N+1N+1 mappings, such that one of these mappings is taken from the more general class of Lipschitz pseudocontractive mappings and the other NN mappings are nonexpansive.  相似文献

Let EE be a uniformly convex Banach space which satisfies Opial’s condition or whose norm is Fréchet differentiable. Recently, Takahashi and Shimoji [W. Takahashi, K. Shimoji, Convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and feasibility problems, Math. Comput. Modelling 32 (2000) 1463–1471] introduced an iterative scheme given by finitely many nonexpansive mappings in EE and proved weak convergence theorems which are connected with the problem of image recovery. In this paper we introduce a new iterative scheme which includes their iterative scheme as a special case. Under the assumption that EE is a reflexive Banach space whose norm is uniformly Gâteaux differentiable and which has a weakly continuous duality mapping, we prove strong convergence theorems which are connected with the problem of image recovery. Using the established results, we consider the problem of finding a common fixed point of finitely many nonexpansive mappings.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is by using CSQ method to study the strong convergence problem of iterative sequences for a pair of strictly asymptotically pseudocontractive mappings to approximate a common fixed point in a Hilbert space. Under suitable conditions some strong convergence theorems are proved. The results presented in the paper are new which extend and improve some recent results of Acedo and Xu [Iterative methods for strict pseudo-contractions in Hilbert spaces. Let E be a real Banach space, K a closed convex nonempty subset of E. Let be m total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings. An iterative sequence for approximation of common fixed points (assuming existence) of T1,T2,…,Tm is constructed; necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of the scheme to a common fixed point of the mappings are given. Furthermore, in the case that E is uniformly convex, a sufficient condition for convergence of the iteration process to a common fixed point of mappings under our setting is established.  相似文献

A demiclosed principle is proved for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense. Moreover, it is proved that the modified three-step iterative sequence converges weakly and strongly to common fixed points of three asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense under certain conditions. The results of this paper improve and extend the corresponding results of [M.O. Osilike, S.C. We give explicit rates of asymptotic regularity for iterations of strongly nonexpansive mappings T in general Banach spaces as well as rates of metastability (in the sense of Tao) in the context of uniformly convex Banach spaces when T is odd. This, in particular, applies to linear norm-one projections as well as to sunny nonexpansive retractions. The asymptotic regularity results even hold for strongly quasi-nonexpansive mappings (in the sense of Bruck), the addition of error terms and very general metric settings. In particular, we get the first quantitative results on iterations (with errors) of compositions of metric projections in CAT(?)-spaces (? > 0). Under an additional compactness assumption we obtain, moreover, a rate of metastability for the strong convergence of such iterations.  相似文献

In this paper, an iterative sequence for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of common fixed points of two relatively nonexpansive multi-valued mappings is introduced. This iterative scheme can be viewed as a multi-valued version of the corresponding one introduced by Zhang et al. (Comput Math Appl 61, 262–276, 2011) for two relatively nonexpansive multi-valued mappings. Finally, strong convergence of this sequence is studied in Banach spaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative process for finding the common element of the set of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem for an αα-inverse-strongly-monotone mapping. We obtain a weak convergence theorem for a sequence generated by this process. Moreover, we apply our result to the problem for finding a common element of the set of equilibrium problems and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem of a monotone mapping.  相似文献

In recent papers [S. Dhompongsa, T. Domínguez-Benavides, A. Kaewcharoen, A. Kaewkhao, B. Panyanak, The Jordan–von Neumann constants and fixed points for multivalued nonexpansive mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 320 (2006) 916–927; S. Dhompongsa, A. Kaewcharoen, A. Kaewkhao, The Domínguez–Lorenzo condition and multivalued nonexpansive mappings, Nonlinear Anal. 64 (2006) 958–970], two sufficient conditions, namely the Domínguez–Lorenzo condition and property (DD), for fixed points of multivalued nonexpansive mappings are introduced. The authors also give some sufficient conditions for the Domínguez–Lorenzo condition and property (DD). In their proofs, it seems reasonable to use the James and von Neumann–Jordan constants. With slight modifications, significant improvements are obtained. Some new estimates are tight in Hilbert spaces.  相似文献

It is well-known that in a Banach space, using the Ishikawa iterative process, one can find fixed points of nonexpansive mappings via asymptotic center’s method. In this paper, we obtain the fixed points of mappings satisfying so-called condition (E) in a uniformly convex Busemann space. Many known results in CAT (0) spaces are improved and extended by our results.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove a strong convergence theorem by the hybrid method for a countable family of relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space. We also establish a new control condition for the sequence of mappings {Tn} which is weaker than the control condition in Lemma 3.1 of Aoyama et al. [K. Aoyama, Y. Kimura, W. Takahashi and M. Toyoda, Approximation of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space, Nonlinear Anal. 67 (2007) 2350-2360]. Moreover, we apply our results for finding a common fixed point of two relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space and an element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem in a Banach space, respectively. Our results are applicable to a wide class of mappings.  相似文献

We introduce a new composite iterative scheme to approximate a zero of an mm-accretive operator AA defined on uniform smooth Banach spaces and a reflexive Banach space having a weakly continuous duality map. It is shown that the iterative process in each case converges strongly to a zero of AA. The results presented in this paper substantially improve and extend the results due to Ceng et al. [L.C. Ceng, H.K. Xu, J.C. Yao, Strong convergence of a hybrid viscosity approximation method with perturbed mappings for nonexpansive and accretive operators, Taiwanese J. Math. (in press)], Kim and Xu [T.H. Kim, H.K. Xu, Strong convergence of modified Mann iterations, Nonlinear Anal. 61 (2005) 51–60] and Xu [H.K. Xu, Strong convergence of an iterative method for nonexpansive and accretive operators, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 314 (2006) 631–643]. Our work provides a new approach for the construction of a zero of mm-accretive operators.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative process which converges strongly to a common solution of finite family of variational inequality problems for ??-inverse strongly monotone mappings and fixed point of two continuous quasi- ${\phi}$ -asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. Our theorems extend and unify most of the results that have been proved for the class of monotone mappings.  相似文献

The Mann iterations for nonexpansive mappings have only weak convergence even in a Hilbert space H. In order to overcome this weakness, Nakajo and Takahashi proposed the hybrid method for Mann’s iteration process:

In this paper, using sunny generalized nonexpansive retractions which are different from the metric projection and generalized metric projection in Banach spaces, we present new extragradient and line search algorithms for finding the solution of a J-variational inequality whose constraint set is the common elements of the set of fixed points of a family of generalized nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of a pseudomonotone J-equilibrium problem for a J -α-inverse-strongly monotone operator in a Banach space. To prove strong convergence of generated iterates in the extragradient method, we introduce a ? ?-Lipschitz-type condition and assume that the equilibrium bifunction satisfies this condition. This condition is unnecessary when the line search method is used instead of the extragradient method. Using FMINCON optimization toolbox in MATLAB, we give some numerical examples and compare them with several existence results in literature to illustrate the usability of our results.  相似文献

Let E be a nonempty bounded closed convex separable subset of a reflexive Banach space X   which satisfies the Domínguez–Lorenzo condition, i.e., an inequality concerning the asymptotic radius of a sequence and the Chebyshev radius of its asymptotic center. We prove that a multivalued nonexpansive mapping T:E→2XT:E2X which is compact convex valued and such that T(E)T(E) is bounded and satisfies an inwardness condition has a fixed point. As a consequence, we obtain a fixed-point theorem for multivalued nonexpansive mappings in uniformly nonsquare Banach spaces which satisfy the property WORTH, extending a known result for the case of nonexpansive single-valued mappings. We also prove a common fixed point theorem for two nonexpansive commuting mappings t:E→Et:EE and T:E→KC(E)T:EKC(E) (where KC(E)KC(E) denotes the class of all compact convex subsets of E) when X is a uniformly convex Banach space.  相似文献

We use viscosity approximation methods to obtain strong convergence to common fixed points of monotone mappings and a countable family of nonexpansive mappings. Let C be a nonempty closed convex subset of a Hilbert space H and P C is a metric projection. We consider the iteration process {x n } of C defined by x 1 = xC is arbitrary and
$ x_{n + 1} = \alpha _n f(x_n ) + (1 - \alpha _n )S_n P_C (x_n + \lambda _n Ax_n ) $ x_{n + 1} = \alpha _n f(x_n ) + (1 - \alpha _n )S_n P_C (x_n + \lambda _n Ax_n )   相似文献
