The inverse scattering problem for the Zakharov-Shabat system , is considered. We present the main ingredients of twistor theory leading up to and including the Penrose-Ward transform in a coordinate algebra form which we can then ‘quantise’ by means of a functorial cocycle twist. The quantum algebras for the conformal group, twistor space , compactified Minkowski space and the twistor correspondence space are obtained along with their canonical quantum differential calculi, both in a local form and in a global *-algebra formulation which even in the classical commutative case provides a useful alternative to the formulation in terms of projective varieties. We outline how the Penrose-Ward transform then quantises. As an example, we show that the pull-back of the tautological bundle on pulls back to the basic instanton on and that this observation quantises to obtain the Connes-Landi instanton on θ-deformed S 4 as the pull-back of the tautological bundle on our θ-deformed . We likewise quantise the fibration and use it to construct the bundle on θ-deformed that maps over under the transform to the θ-deformed instanton. The work was mainly completed while S.M. was visiting July-December 2006 at the Isaac Newton Institute, Cambridge, which both authors thank for support.  相似文献

Page’s Einstein metric on \({{\mathbb{CP}}_2\#\overline{\mathbb{CP}}_2}\) is conformally related to an extremal Kähler metric. Here we construct a family of conformally Kähler solutions of the Einstein–Maxwell equations that deforms the Page metric, while sweeping out the entire Kähler cone of \({{\mathbb{CP}}_2\#\overline{\mathbb{CP}}_2}\). The same method also yields analogous solutions on every Hirzebruch surface. This allows us to display infinitely many geometrically distinct families of solutions of the Einstein–Maxwell equations on the smooth 4-manifolds \({S^2 \times S^2}\) and \({{\mathbb{CP}}_2\#\overline{\mathbb{CP}}_2}\).  相似文献

In this paper we have analyzed the Kaluza-Klein type Robertson Walker (RW) cosmological models by considering three different forms of variable Λ: , and Λ∼ρ. It is found that, the connecting free parameters of the models with cosmic matter and vacuum energy density parameters are equivalent, in the context of higher dimensional space time. The expression for the look back time, luminosity distance and angular diameter distance are also derived. This work has thus generalized to higher dimensions the well-known results in four dimensional space time. It is found that there may be significant difference in principle at least, from the analogous situation in four dimensional space time.  相似文献

Consider in the operator family . P 0 is the quantum harmonic oscillator with diophantine frequency vector ω, F 0 a bounded pseudodifferential operator with symbol decreasing to zero at infinity in phase space, and . Then there exist independent of and an open set such that if and , the quantum normal form near P 0 converges uniformly with respect to . This yields an exact quantization formula for the eigenvalues, and for the classical Cherry theorem on convergence of Birkhoff’s normal form for complex frequencies is recovered. We examine the structure of the insertion–elimination Lie algebra on rooted trees introduced in Connes and Kreimer (Ann. Henri Poincar 3(3):411–433, 2002). It possesses a triangular structure , like the Heisenberg, Virasoro, and affine algebras. We show in particular that it is simple, which in turn implies that it has no finite-dimensional representations. We consider a category of lowest-weight representations, and show that irreducible representations are uniquely determined by a “lowest weight” . We show that each irreducible representation is a quotient of a Verma-type object, which is generically irreducible.   相似文献

A Strong Szegő Theorem for Jacobi Matrices   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
We use a classical result of Golinskii and Ibragimov to prove an analog of the strong Szegő theorem for Jacobi matrices on . In particular, we consider the class of Jacobi matrices with conditionally summable parameter sequences and find necessary and sufficient conditions on the spectral measure such that and lie in , the linearly-weighted l 2 space. We prove bounds on moments of the Smoluchowski coagulation equations with diffusion, in any dimension d ≥ 1. If the collision propensities α(n, m) of mass n and mass m particles grow more slowly than , and the diffusion rate is non-increasing and satisfies for some b 1 and b 2 satisfying 0 ≤ b 2 < b 1 < ∞, then any weak solution satisfies for every and T ∈(0, ∞), (provided that certain moments of the initial data are finite). As a consequence, we infer that these conditions are sufficient to ensure uniqueness of a weak solution and its conservation of mass. Motivated by perturbation theory, we prove that the nonlinear part \({H^{*}}\) of the KdV Hamiltonian \({H^{kdv}}\), when expressed in action variables \({I = (I_{n})_{n \geqslant 1}}\), extends to a real analytic function on the positive quadrant \({\ell^{2}_{+}(\mathbb{N})}\) of \({\ell^{2}(\mathbb{N})}\) and is strictly concave near \({0}\). As a consequence, the differential of \({H^{*}}\) defines a local diffeomorphism near 0 of \({\ell_{\mathbb{C}}^{2}(\mathbb{N})}\). Furthermore, we prove that the Fourier-Lebesgue spaces \({\mathcal{F}\mathcal{L}^{s,p}}\) with \({-1/2 \leqslant s \leqslant 0}\) and \({2 \leqslant p < \infty}\), admit global KdV-Birkhoff coordinates. In particular, it means that \({\ell^{2}_+(\mathbb{N})}\) is the space of action variables of the underlying phase space \({\mathcal{F}\mathcal{L}^{-1/2,4}}\) and that the KdV equation is globally in time \({C^{0}}\)-well-posed on \({\mathcal{F}\mathcal{L}^{-1/2,4}}\).  相似文献

We study minimizers of the pseudo-relativistic Hartree functional \({\mathcal {E}}_{a}(u):=\Vert (-\varDelta +m^{2})^{1/4}u\Vert _{L^{2}}^{2}+\int _{{\mathbb {R}}^{3}}V(x)|u(x)|^{2}\mathrm{d}x-\frac{a}{2}\int _{{\mathbb {R}}^{3}}(\left| \cdot \right| ^{-1}\star |u|^{2})(x)|u(x)|^{2}\mathrm{d}x\) under the mass constraint \(\int _{{\mathbb {R}}^3}|u(x)|^2\mathrm{d}x=1\). Here \(m>0\) is the mass of particles and \(V\ge 0\) is an external potential. We prove that minimizers exist if and only if a satisfies \(0\le a<a^{*}\), and there is no minimizer if \(a\ge a^*\), where \(a^*\) is called the Chandrasekhar limit. When a approaches \(a^*\) from below, the blow-up behavior of minimizers is derived under some general external potentials V. Here we consider three cases of V: trapping potential, i.e. \(V\in L_{\mathrm{loc}}^{\infty }({\mathbb {R}}^3)\) satisfies \(\lim _{|x|\rightarrow \infty }V(x)=\infty \); periodic potential, i.e. \(V\in C({\mathbb {R}}^3)\) satisfies \(V(x+z)=V(x)\) for all \(z\in \mathbb {Z}^3\); and ring-shaped potential, e.g. \( V(x)=||x|-1|^p\) for some \(p>0\).  相似文献

We study all possible U(1)-extensions of the standard model within the framework of noncommutative geometry with the algebra . Comparison to experimental data about the mass of a hypothetical gauge boson leads to the necessity of introducing at least one new family of heavy fermions.  相似文献

In this article we study the phase transition phenomenon for the Ising model under the action of a non-uniform external magnetic field. We show that the Ising model on the hypercubic lattice with a summable magnetic field has a first-order phase transition and, for any positive (resp. negative) and bounded magnetic field, the model does not present the phase transition phenomenon whenever lim?inf?h i >0, where \(\mathbf{h}=(h_{i})_{i\in \mathbb{Z}^{d}}\) is the external magnetic field.  相似文献

The light top-squark may be the lightest squark, and its lifetime may be ‘long enough’ in a kind of SUSY models that have not been ruled out yet experimentally, so colorless ‘supersymmetric hadrons (superhadrons)’ (q is a quark excluding the t-quark) may be formed as long as the light top-squark can be produced. The fragmentation function of into heavy ‘supersymmetric hadrons (superhadrons)’ (Q̄=c̄ or b̄) and hadronic production of the superhadrons are investigated quantitatively. The fragmentation function is calculated precisely. Due to the difference in spin of the SUSY component, the asymptotic behavior of the fragmentation function is different from those of the existing ones. The fragmentation function is also applied to compute the production of heavy superhadrons at the hadronic colliders Tevatron and LHC in the so-called fragmentation approach. The resultant cross-section for the heavy superhadrons is too small to observe at Tevatron, but large enough at LHC, when all the relevant parameters in the SUSY models are taken within the favored region for the heavy superhadrons. The production of ‘light superhadrons’ (q=u,d,s) is also roughly estimated with the same SUSY parameters. It is pointed out that the production cross-sections of the light superhadrons may be much greater than those of the heavy superhadrons, so that even at Tevatron the light superhadrons may be produced in great quantities. The space of linear polyvector fields on is a Lie subalgebra of the (graded) Lie algebra , equipped with the Schouten bracket. In this paper, we compute the cohomology of this subalgebra for the adjoint representation in , restricting ourselves to the case of cochains defined with purely aerial Kontsevich’s graphs, as in Pac. J. Math. 218(2):201–239, 2005. We find a result which is very similar to the cohomology for the vector case Pac. J. Math. 229(2):257–292, 2007. This work was supported by the CMCU contract 06 S 1502. For convex co-compact hyperbolic quotients , we analyze the long-time asymptotic of the solution of the wave equation u(t) with smooth compactly supported initial data f = (f 0, f 1). We show that, if the Hausdorff dimension δ of the limit set is less than n/2, then where and . We explain, in terms of conformal theory of the conformal infinity of X, the special cases , where the leading asymptotic term vanishes. In a second part, we show for all the existence of an infinite number of resonances (and thus zeros of Selberg zeta function) in the strip . As a byproduct we obtain a lower bound on the remainder R(t) for generic initial data f.  相似文献

In this paper we present a theorem that establishes a relation between continuous, norm-bounded functions from a metric space into a separable Hilbert space and weak convergence of sequences of probability measures on the metric space. After establishing this result, it’s application to the stability theory of Feynman’s operational calculi will be illustrated. We will see that the existing time-dependent stability theory of the operational calculi will be significantly improved when the operator-valued functions take their values in , a separable Hilbert space.   相似文献

We construct infinitely many Einstein-Weyl structures on of signature (− + +) which is sufficiently close to the model case of constant curvature, and on which the space-like geodesics are all closed. Such a structure is obtained as a parameter space of a family of holomorphic disks which is associated to a small perturbation of the diagonal of . The geometry of constructed Einstein-Weyl spaces is well understood from the configuration of holomorphic disks. We also review Einstein-Weyl structures and their properties in the former half of this article. Let (T, H) be a weak Weyl representation of the canonical commutation relation (CCR) with one degree of freedom. Namely T is a symmetric operator and H is a self-adjoint operator on a complex Hilbert space satisfying the weak Weyl relation: for all (the set of real numbers), eitH D(T) ⊂ D(T) (i is the imaginary unit and D(T) denotes the domain of T) and . In the context of quantum theory where H is a Hamiltonian, T is called a strong time operator of H. In this paper we prove the following theorem on uniqueness of weak Weyl representations: Let be separable. Assume that H is bounded below with and , where is the set of complex numbers and, for a linear operator A on a Hilbert space, σ(A) denotes the spectrum of A. Then ( is the closure of T) is unitarily equivalent to a direct sum of the weak Weyl representation on the Hilbert space , where is the multiplication operator by the variable and with . Using this theorem, we construct a Weyl representation of the CCR from the weak Weyl representation .
